As Jorlaxl carried Serori's unconscious, unmoving body, this is what happened inside her head.
Serori opened her mind's eyes. It was black expanse of space, filled with doors and colors, thoughts, memories, feelings. She had trained her mind to do what she wanted from it. But now, here was a metaphorical representation of her, floating in this void, prepared to fit things into the wrong spaces, and make her mind, her bitch.
Serori wasn't entirely sure what was what. She saw a little blob of blue, and pointed at it with her hand, fingers spread. She closed her hand, and the blue shrunk, and instantly she felt much happier. Intrigued, she then spread her fingers apart, and the blue expanded. She cried out, and burst into tears. Quickly, she shrank it down to a very small size, and put it into a metaphorical corner, to be dealt with later. She messed around with other colors, figuring out which emotion went with what. It was very simple, and she was quickly able to fix everything up. She saw doors on the outskirts of her vision, and decided it would be simpler to walk. She closed her eyes, and imagined something hard underfoot, and it was so. She walked delicately over to a door, and opened it.
Inside was a memory of when she had been five. She'd been being bullied at school, and had run home crying to her mom, whom had comforted the young Serori. Serori watched all this like a movie, and at the end, it stopped, a frozen frame. Inside of the door were also colors, red, blue, orange. She took these, and added them to colors outside of the doors. Closing the door, she looked around. There were several, all different shades of white, black and gray. The one she had just opened was just off white. She saw a beaten, battered door, a dark shade of black, forboding. She walked over to it, and gave it a tug, but it wouldn't budge. She pulled harder, and still nothing. She set all her weight into it, and finally, hinges and door alike giving a huge groan of stress, it opened. Inside was several memories, of the times she'd been angriest. Everything was a violent shade of red and orange, sometimes with offsetting shades of green. Metaphorical Serori smiled. This would definitely be useful. She moved all of this back into the open, and closed the door. She locked it. It had no use, now all the anger was out of it.
Serori continued checking doors, moving things around. Finally she came to a chained door, barred, supposed to be impenetrable. She touched it, and felt the raw power inside. It flowed through her, so much, it hurt. With a cry of shock, she quickly removed her hand from the steel door, and stared at it. This was something good, something she needed, but for now, it would have to remain locked. Her body couldn't handle this much raw energy right now. She would have to get stronger first.
Satisfied that she had gotten most of the emotions, Serori tiptoed back to the main space. She looked at all the floating colors, and quickly chose a dark, almost blood colored red, which she knew to be her anger. She moved it close to her, and felt the heat radiating from the raw source of emotion. She closed her eyes, and imagined a good, solid door. When she opened them again, there it was, and she quickly stored all the anger into it. She put a lock on it. Not to keep her from getting to it, no. This was a lock to keep it out of her normal life, but readily available for when she needed it. She did the same for the rest of the colors, sometimes putting two colors together. All the doors had varying degrees of locks, depending on how useful and when she'd need to use each emotion, or combination of emotions.
After tidying up, Serori looked around again. There were still things that bothered her. She closed her eyes, and concentrated. Her mind was telling her that she was moving.
'Ok,' she thought, 'so when I wake up, I will probably be somewhere unfamiliar. I need to prepare myself for that, and not freak out. Keep it cool. Speaking of freaking out...' Concentrating again, Serori knew that there was another self in here, somewhere. She pictured a darker, more sinister version of herself in front of her, but locked up. She opened her eyes once again, and of course, there it was. It was struggling to get out of the chains, so Serori made them stronger. She needed to control this. She couldn't let it go just at any time. Bad things could happen...like at the museum. This uncontrolableness led to her becoming a giant monkey, and wreaking havoc on a city. This didn't bother Serori. It was the fact that she had no control over her mind, and had even attacked her new associates. She remembered reading about the Oozaru at the Saru Library. Her tail was the key. She couldn't cut it off, not if the Oozaru had that much power. But if she could train with Caius and Jorlaxl, then maybe she could learn to control it.
A huge, orange, pulsing blob of color was coming into her vision. Serori looked at it, wondering what it was. She thought she'd got rid of all the colors, yet this one remained. What emotion could it possibly, be? She extended her hand, stretched her fingers...
And screamed. This orange, pulsing thing was physical pain, a pure entity of her physical pain, from when she had been beaten up by Caius. Arm shaking, barely able to hold it up, Serori closed her fingers, making it smaller again. Pain still coursed through her body, but she prevailed, and made it even smaller. Less pain now, but she wasn't done. With a huge effort, for the smaller it got, the harder it was to compress, she managed to make it a miniscule speck. It wouldn't bother her now when she woke up, although later pain might be slightly intensified. She couldn't get rid of it wholly, just move it off to somewhere other than where it had been.
More things to do...with a sigh, Serori walked back over to the doors. She hadn't realised how much organising her mind needed. She would have to do more meditating along with her physical training. She opened and closed many doors, before finding the one she really wanted. When she had freaked out in the museum. That had been truly embarrassing, especially in front of the people who would be presenting her to their master to join the WTO. This needed to be locked away, never to be found or used again. She thought of the most intense locks she could, the heaviest barriers, and shoved the door into the recesses of her mind. That was more like it. But suddenly, she saw another door.
This one was old wood, so old, it was probably stronger than steel. She pushed on it to open it, but it hardly budged. She pushed harder, and it took all her mental strength to get it open. It is common knowledge that most people don't use every part of their brain. It is possible that, with the use of other parts of your brain that you don't normally use, you can become smarter, and be able to do things you might not've been able to before. Serori had just opened a world of possibilities.
There were doors among doors, doors in doors, doors above doors. Gateways, portals, dimensions, everything. This was the part of Serori that she hadn't earlier had access to. Serori felt it closing up. There were reasons that she wasn't using all of this, if she was, it would be too much. She would have time to open up one door, so she reached for the closest one. With barely a touch from her, the door slammed open, knocking her back. With a whoosh, and a rushing sound, something purple and blurred rushed out of the open portal, which Serori was promptly sucked into. The old door slammed shut with a resounding boom, and Serori knew she would have to be much stronger to get it open once more.
She decided to go and check out what had rushed so eagerly past her ears. She found a new door, bright, shiny, white, and opened it. Upon walking inside, she found words running past her eyes, telling her what to do, accompanied by a voice, softly, whisperingly, commanding her to think about lifting a small rock that was lying in the middle of the room. The words kept coming, but somehow she thought she wouldn't be able to do it. She closed her eyes, and imagined the rock floating in mid air. But when she opened them again, it was not. The words continued, and Serori listened to them more closely. They didn't want her to imagine it, they wanted her to tell it with her mind. She wasn't sure what this meant, but tried it anyways. She stared at the rock, willingly it to disobey metaphorical gravity, and to float, and that is exactly what it did. Serori was so stunned that she stopped concentrating on it, and it fell. The soothing words coaxed her, telling her to try again, and she did, this time keeping it up. She lifted it higher, lowered it, moved it left and right, and finally moved it all around the room.
The voices praised her, and then the rock disappeared. In its place was a medium sized box. It was bigger than the rock, and the voices now told her to lift this as well. Excited, Serori tried, but to no avail. She tried again, concentrating harder, and could only lift it a slight centimeter up, not even for very long, before it fell to the ground once more. There was definitely no way she could move it around. Serori was disappointed, but the voices told her that he stronger she got, the heavier things she could lift.
The door closed, and locked itself, as if not to keep itself in, but to keep Serori out. Serori looked at it for some time, before returning to the main space. She would definitely have to get stronger now, and meditate some more. This new telekinetic ability could prove to be very useful, when she finally woke up. But for now, while she still had not regained consciousness, she continued tidying up her mind.
This is what went on inside Serori's body, while Jorlaxl carried her body to Suki's ship.
Finished, PL please, and a new technique
