Eyes opening, Jorlaxl slowly turned his head left and right, taking in his immediate surroundings. He noticed that even such a menial task as turning ones head left his body exhausted. To his left he saw the usual, unchanging gravity simulator. The far wall was a metallic steel color, as was to be expected from such a room. The room itself wasn't supposed to be flashy or breathtaking; it was to do its job, and nothing more. To his right, he saw the sparring simulator, used to project animated fighters to fight the user.
Ever since the fight on Vegeta, Jorlaxl has set it upon himself to become as strong as he can. After all, he would be bored on Suki's ship otherwise, so why not? Besides, Caius was present in the training room more and more often, so why shouldn't Jorlaxl see this friendly rivalry and attempt to keep up with it as much as he can? Caius was becoming more and more powerful with every passing day, and if Jorlaxl didn't see to it, then Caius will become stronger than him within a week. And that was unacceptable.
He really liked having Caius around. In fact, he enjoyed the demon's company. Because Caius was training, Jorlaxl was seeing to it that he trained just as much, if not harder. Since they were both around the same power, they always had a sparring partner whenever they needed one, and since Gurin was so distant, it was hard to find Aice around the ship's many rooms, and Suki was... Suki, they felt like they could find friendship amongst themselves. But that wasn't all the people on the ship, was it? No, of course not. There was one other person, a new face...
Serori. That was it. She was the new person among the World Trade Organization. She has really been an enigma ever since they met. Jorlaxl didn't really know what to think of that saiyan. She definitely showed many of the characteristics of a normal saiyan fighter. Strength, passion, burning rage... these were all normal. But it seemed to Jorlaxl that Serori possessed something else that made her be a cut above the rest of the competition. This saiyan was different. He didn't quite know what it was, but he was anxious to figure it out.
On that note, what was it that Suki really wanted? Suki was different than all of the fighters. He was calm, polite, and had a sadistic streak, it seemed. When he punished the traders for running amok in Vegeta, he punished them accordingly, but not so hard as one would think the Emperor of Kold would. What was Suki, the ruler of the galaxy, after, really? Was it power? He had that already. However, maybe he wanted to be so powerful, that all of his underlings combined couldn't fight him. That was possible. Jorlaxl could sense that if he and Caius both attacked together, they could defeat the Icer once and for all.
Was Suki after money? Again, possible, but not likely. He didn't seem so materialistic. However, the ship's gravity generator wasn't top of the line by any means, and the ship seems to be a lower end model. Maybe he was in it for the money. However, He wouldn't be going from planet to planet killing everyone if that was all. There had to be something else. Maybe it was really as simple as everyone thinks and Jorlaxl's just over thinking it.
Control. Yes, that seems the most likely. Complete galactic domination was what Suki was after. And that was a good goal indeed. However, he couldn't do it on his own. Boliko and his forces would see to that. That's why Suki got his own force together. Jorlaxl, Caius, Serori, Aice, Gurin. Those were all he really needed. An elite force of fighters that can make a preemptive strike on a planet, in an effort to destroy the weaker fighters, leaving Suki for the strongest. Brilliant. Jorlaxl needed to be ready for any threat that he faced.
After a moment of mental debate as to which machine to use exclusively, Jorlaxl stood up slowly, and walked over to the sparring machine. He was one of the strongest members of the World Trade Organization, and he liked to keep it that way. He didn't want to fall short, especially with his master's eye always watching, always waiting for a slip up or mistake. Jorlaxl wanted to stay in his master's good favor, even if it cost him all of his free time. Besides, he pondered to himself, what else is there to do on this ship besides train?
Namek wasn't too far away, and if anything that Lord Suki said was true, they were all going to be in for the fights of their lives. Vegeta would be insignificant compared to the intense battles that were to be fought on Namek. Personally, Jorlaxl was excited to go to the planet of the Namekians. He has been to Vegeta, where his saiyan DNA came from. He has seen the strongest Icer of them all, and now serves him, so he knows where the Icer DNA came from. Yet, he hasn't been to the Namekian's planet, and has only seen one. However, Gurin was far from the normal Namekian, and he has no idea how the regular Namekian fighter will fare against him.
Jorlaxl almost bristled with excitement, turning on the sparring machine. He wanted to surprise everyone with his power, even himself. Booting up the machine, he saw the different settings flash before his eyes. Smiling to himself, he set the number of opponents to three. Seeing their outlines coalesce into existence, he began setting various other settings. He made one a Namekian, one an Icer, and one a Saiyan. He set each one to match his own powerlevel, and to not stop unless they're killed.
Or until he is.
Almost belatedly, Jorlaxl began cycling through the different options for the setting for the fight. After scrolling through the different selections, he stopped on one that read NAMEK in glowing letters. He set it so the enemies he set up will be somewhere on the planet, and neither party will know where the other is. However, they will be alerted of his presence on the planet, and will be searching for him. Readying himself, and making sure that his armor was correctly positioned, he activated the machine.
After a few seconds of blinding light that made Jorlaxl shield his eyes, he finally was able to focus again, and what he saw was breathtaking. He stumbled backwards, and took a few cautious steps forward after catching his balance again. He's never heard anything of the planet Namek's appearance so he assumed it was an ugly rock flying through space, so what he saw was completely unexpected. This was unlike anything he's ever imagined in a planet.
Jorlaxl was standing atop a raised plateau, and the first thing he saw was the grassland and trees that was on the bottom of the land below him that seemed to stretch out for miles. What shocked him the most was that the grass wasn't green, like he expected. It was a soft blue color, something that one would think would belong to the sky. However, when Jorlaxl raised his head to the sky, he saw it a light green color. It seems that the colors were flipped on Earth... Which planet copied which?
Putting his mind back in the present, he tried desperately to find his targets. Searching, he eventually found one in the grassland ahead of him, almost definitely covered up by the trees and thick grass. Another one was behind him, and the power signature seemed to be coming from inside the ocean... Most weird. The last one seemed to be somewhere north and above Jorlaxl. So many different places, and they all were as strong as him. He couldn't fight them all on his own... So how could he do this the smart way?
After a few moments, he had it! Charging up his ki into his hands, he raised both hands into the sky. Relaxing his hand, he concentrated on the three ki signatures he locked onto, and re-communicated their locations to his ki, and then rapidly shot over 100 ki blasts into the air in rapid succession. They all shot up high into the sky, and then they split up, each going into one of three directions. Each one was going in the direction of one of the 3 enemies. He lowered his hands slowly, and waited. After a few seconds, he felt one of the power levels, the Saiyan's, go dark.
Excellent. His technique worked just as planned.
As soon as he finished the thought, the namekian's power, which was the one underwater, disappeared as well. He felt the ground shake underneath him, which meant that most of them must have missed their mark. Odd, it seems that the namekian was an agile dodger. Well, he used to be.
finally, the Icer power, which was the one above him, suddenly stopped moving for a second. Jorlaxl broke into a grin, and it was suddenly cut short. The power was coming back, and it was heading this way! Feeling slightly drained from his new technique, Jorlaxl started looking for any sort of cover, and found none. He had no choice but to wait. But first, he created 8 copies of himself, in an attempt to trick his icer opponent.
Finally, the icer touched the earth, and Jorlaxl was surprised. This icer was in its final form, and that made Jorlaxl laugh. He set each fighter to be of his own power, and this was the Icer's final transformation? Suki's first form was much more than this pipsqueak! Completely reassured, Jorlaxl and all of his clones rushed the enemy, and wasn't disappointed in the least. Not knowing which Jorlaxl was real, he tried dodging punches that weren't there. After taking a few good punches, the icer started bleeding.
"Bastard!"
That was all the Icer had to say? Pathetic. Readying himself, he started shooting magic missiles rapidly into the Icer's chest. He wasn't expecting them all to make their mark, but they all did. Drilling through the Icer's chest, some exploded inside of him, while others exploded upon impact with flesh. Finally, after the explosions stopped, Jorlaxl decided that enough was enough, and shut off the simulator. He's had a long day's work, and needed to rest. Namek for real was on the way, and he needed to be ready for when he arrived.
