Dalego has just stepped out the front door of his home. Wearing the clothing that his father sent with him when he was a child. The gold and platinum plating with the smooth silk like fabric caught the attention of all the saiyan nearby on planet Vegeta. Dalego’s face is a face of determination and seriousness. He feels no need to waste time on complete foolishness but seeing as he was surrounded by battle starving saiyans, he knew this would not last long. He continues to walk through Saru City making his way to the Scorched Plains, and it seems he is going to make it. That is when someone yells out to Dalego. “Hey freak, you think you’re special or something wearing those fancy clothes?” Dalego turns around to find a familiar face. It was a person that has been bothering Dalego for three straight years now.
“What do you want Alizo, I thought we were done with this?” Alizo laughs a bit and grins a wicked grin. “My dumb friend, this is never going to be over until you fight me.” Dalego’s no longer felt like he had to speak and so he didn’t. This had begun to anger Alizo, because he viewed it as Dalego considering him to be unworthy of being considered a threat by any means. “So you aren’t going to speak huh?” Alizo begins to power up and seeing as how he wasn’t all-powerful, it had little effect on Saru City. Still, Dalego did not want to fight him in the city. Dalego’s aura flares and the white and gold electricity pulsate around his body slightly. “If this is what you want I have no choice but to oblige, but we do this in the Scorched Plains.” Alizo laughs again as Dalego takes flight and makes his way to the plains quickly. Alizo follows as does a few other saiyans that were standing by.
Dalego was leading the pact, but as he looks back he feels that something is off a tad bit. Mere seconds later the warriors and the on-lookers land on the Scorched Plains. Dalego and Alizo assume their fighting stances, but Dalego suddenly stands once again. “Oh so you’re a tough guy huh?” Dalego slides his left foot across the dirt to create space between his legs. Alizo charges up minor ki blasts and flings them toward Dalego. A slight smile appears across Dalego’s face as he begins to run to his left causing the ki blasts to land behind him. Dalego then launches himself in the air firing an array of small ki blasts, and Alizo would meet them with ki blasts of his own. The two could not get an upper hand on each other as the ki blasts crashed into each other causing a dust cloud. The two young men stopped firing and waiting for the dust to settle, and as it did Alizo was nowhere in sight.
“I just feel like I should inform you that you aren’t as good as you think you are.” With those words Dalego performs a flip to the right at the same exact time Alizo was trying to kick him on the side of his face. Dalego does a set of back flips to create distance between himself and Alizo. Alizo grinds his teeth together angry that he missed his attack. He suddenly dashes in toward Dalego like a raging bull. He then leaps into the air and comes crashing toward Dalego with his left fist. Dalego blocks the incoming attack with his left forearm. They lock eyes for a brief moment then Alizo tries to leg sweep Dalego. Dalego cartwheels over the leg sweep and as he recovers he throws two left mid kicks. Alizo raises his right knee twice in order to block the incoming kicks. He then throws a left hook, a right hook, and a spinning right elbow at Dalego. Dalego uses his left hand and pushes the left hook, he uses his right hand to push the right hook, and he ducks under the right elbow extending his left leg to kick Alizo in the back of the head. The kick lands causing Alizo to do a front flip, but he was able to land on his feet and take a few steps back to create space between them.
“Well Dalego, you almost fight like a saiyan.” Alizo comes in close with what looks like a high left knee, but it was a diversion for the punch to Dalego’s face. Being hit hard by the punch Dalego is sent back by the blow, but quickly recoups. “Key word in that sentence, almost.” The on-lookers were quite impressed at the skill that the two boys possessed, and couldn’t wait to see more. “Dalego and Alizo dashed to their left running quickly firing ki blast at each other, and as they continued to run they started to get closer to one another. After a few seconds the two young men were two feet apart, and the ki blast they fired collided and them being so close to each other, it caused a shockwave that sent the two boys flying opposite directions. The two young men slammed into the dirt and slid about three feet as dust kicked up because of the shockwave. The two young men struggled a bit to stand due to the fact that they were placing everything they have into each attack and ki blast.
Dalego and Alizo stood up proudly, and both were refusing to go down. “Alizo, there is no doubt we possess decent power for our age, but let us stop this non sense.” Alizo wipes the scuff from his chin. “You’re only saying that because I messed up your pretty little clothes.” Meanwhile, word was spreading throughout Saru City that to young warriors were battling it out on the Scorched Plains, and that caused more on-lookers to appear. However, Dalego and Alizo hadn’t a clue.
Alizo dashed at Dalego once again and Dalego shoots for the sky. Alizo fires three ki blasts at him, and Dalego turns around and uses his right hand to slap two away and deflect the third one back at Alizo. Seeing this Alizo quickly flies to the right a bit watching the ki blast to hit the ground and cause a minor explosion. This created an opening for Dalego or so he thought. Dalego went in for a hard spin kick, but Alizo grabbed the kick and flung Dalego to the ground following him with a double stomp. Dalego recoups and allows his body to continue to free-fall until he came a few inches from the ground. He quickly dodges the double stomp and lands a double kick to Alizo’s face causing Alizo to fly back crashing into the ground. Alizo stands again, and by this time both of the young men are panting uncontrollably. As Alizo was preparing for another charge, he sees blood fall from his chin to the ground. His lip was busted and looked as if it had been hit repeatedly by a building.
“You drew blood from me? I’m done being fair.” Dalego looks to his right to find that two of the on-lookers were actually about to join the battle. “I had a feeling something like this would happen.” Dalego prepared for what was now a war. The three charged at him fast, one from the right, another from the left, and Alizo from the middle. The attacker on the left came in with a high right kick, the attacker from the right came with a high left kick, and Alizo came in with a strike to the abdomen. Dalego easily blocks the two incoming kick by raising his forearms, but that left his abdomen wide open. The blow landed hard and caused Dalego to slide back through the dirt, but thinking on his toes he quickly throws a spinning jump kick. The kick lands square on the side of the left attackers face sending him toward Alizo. Alizo and the right attacker simply moved out of the way. Alizo launches a leg sweep and a right high kick while the right attacker launches two ki blasts. Dalego jumps up and dodges the leg sweep, but is caught in the chest by the high kick sending him flying back. The two ki blasts are closing in and Dalego quickly crosses his arms in front of him blocking out some of the damage as he crashes to the ground.
Dalego begins to stand up again very slowly, and as he does the left attacker places him in a full nelson from behind. Dalego didn’t have the energy or the power to break out of the hold, and this leaves him open for attacks. On-lookers were amazed that Dalego even attempted to fight against those odds seeing as how he wasn’t a saiyan like them, but none of them were going to intervene and help. Alizo and the right attacker walked up to Dalego and stood before him smiling menacingly. Alizo suddenly threw two left hooks, two right hooks, three right knees, and a massive uppercut to the sternum. Dalego had no choice, but to take the blows as they came in one by one. After the uppercut landed blood splattered from his mouth and trickled down his face. This is a beautiful sight to Alizo as he just holds a wide smile over his face. “Now, to end this.” Alizo was about to perform his special attack the Blitz Bomb. Alizo stepped back a few feet, and told the left attack to move when he was about to launch it. Alizo starts summoning all of his ki and is putting his all in the attack. The ball grew to the size of an engine within a minute. He was ready to finish the job.
“GET OUT OF THE WAY!” After those words Dalego’s head popped up with his eyes widened. Pebbles started to crumble to bits. Little did they know, Dalego’s full power was now at the surface and he was powering up his Vayu Blast. Having his hands clasps together while in the full nelson he was able to gather the necessary energy and this terrified the two attacker causing both of them to flee. Alizo by this time had lost his train of thought and the energy he gathered was gone leaving him wide open. Dalego’s aura was all out of whack as he brought his hands over and down to his side. He opened them and a white light with sparks of gold electricity surrounded by wind was basically in the palm of his hands. “I never wanted you to see this or for it to ever come to this, but you’ve pushed me too far!” “VAAAYYYUUUU…….” Out of nowhere, Zorn steps out in front of him with a look that said it all.
With his foster father standing in his way, there was no way Dalego was going to be able to get his attack off so he powered down and his amassed ki disappeared causing his Vayu Blast to cancel. “You were going to kill me!” Zorn turns around and looks at Alizo after he spoke those words, but Dalego speaks before Zorn could. “If I truly wanted to kill you, you’d already be dead.” With that Zorn and Dalego turn around and begin to levitate into flight. Dalego looks down at Alizo with a look of seriousness, but it changes into forgiveness. This threw Alizo for a loop as he had no clue how to respond, so he just stared at Dalego and Zorn as they flew back to the city. The on-lookers were left speechless as to what they just witnessed, and half could not believe a battle that intense came from a bunch of eighteen year olds. Word would no doubt spread throughout Saru City of this day but for now; Dalego just wanted to get home.
