Cornelia was born on a planet called Desaria, it was around the same area as planet Vegeta. Desaria was known as a desert region, their population was a little more than 200. The nights were deadly and cold while the days were dangerously hot, only the toughest of the Desari could survive there on their own. Mostly the Desarian race had tan or dark skin, with bright red or light brown hair, their eyes were always golden or hazel brown. The planet is divided into four tribes each one always at war with the others (causing their lower population numbers.) The population was mostly women, so whenever a male child was born the mother was respected deeply by the other members of her tribe. Sadly the children were almost always killed by the heat or another tribe on a raid, so if one survived it would be a miracle. The Desarian people were very barbaric. In fact they were prone to wipe themselves out in the next two hundred years.
Cornelia was born to one of the planet’s princesses, a girl named Sari. She never knew who her father was durring her early childhood, but her mother told her that her father was a Saiyan that went by the name of Hazarr. Hazarr was on a mission to destroy Desaria but had messed around a little while he was on the job, he couldn’t bring himself to destroy the planet that his daughter was on so he had made the decision to leave Sari and take their infant child with him. Sari of course disagreed with him, and eventually they had come to the compromise that Cornelia would go to planet Vegeta when she turned four.
When her fourth birthday arrived Cornelia was disowned from the royal family of Desaria, she was then free to continue her life on planet Vegeta. After they arrived, the planet known as Desaria had been annihilated. Cornelia’s name was changed to Vera and since her tail was considered useless, it was removed. Vera lived quietly on the sides and was trained daily by her father and his closest friends, she had forgotten completely about her life on Desaria and hardly ever is reminded of it. She had always been extremely social on planet Vegeta and was hardly ever called out to missions except by her father. When she did go on a mission she was always swift and accurate she didn’t find enjoyment in making the planet suffer unlike the other Saiyan exterminators. Vera could care less about what or who she killed, to her it was just a job nothing more nothing less.
Soon she got tired of her life on planet Vegeta she had decided to go to Earth and observe the humans there. They had showed similar characteristics to her mother’s race, the same shape the same size, the same landscape in some areas. She wanted to go there and try to connect with the past, sadly Vera knew that she would never be able to resurrect her fallen race. However she still wanted to move on to Earth, she never left planet Vegeta because of her fear of getting home sickness.
