Lute, the name of the high warrior-caste on planet Namek. While not singled out for being a prodigy, nor was he exiled for being a less than average fighter. The reason for this was simple, really: There was nothing special about him. He wasn't chosen from birth to be the Guru's successor. He was just an average namekian warrior, and he thanked his stars every day that he was granted the privileges that he was given.
Lute was born into a high ranking warrior family, and was grown to be a fighter. His fighting skills were being honed ever since he was able to raise his fists in self defense. As he got older, Lute slowly began developing his own fighting style, one that deviated away from most of the other Namekian's older styles.
Where the common warriors used ki-enhanced close combat techniques, Lute preferred getting in the middle of battle, and letting his mind focus on watching his opponent's movements, and seeing the flaws in them. Therefore, he has almost a "third sense" when it comes to unarmed fighting in general.
Lute isn't ambitious, and has no "great plans" when he becomes more powerful. Nor is he a self-sacrificing hero. He is simply himself, and does whatever it is that suits him at the time. Of course, he won't kill a child if it meant a little extra money. He's not heartless, simply neutral.
Lute doesn't know what his purpose in life is, only that he needs to find it. And he'll know it when he finds it.
