Samael watched as his arrival didn't do quite as much to halt things as he'd hoped. Suki seemed to be given enough pause, sure, but Jorlaxl character and Xanden just seemed intent on chugging potentially lethal events right along. He turned to look at Xanden and reached into his jacket. His razor flashed in the sun as he produced it, flicked it open, and held it lazily, but somehow still threateningly at his side.
"You heard the man, the adults are talking. If you wanna keep waving your fuzzy cock around, Xanden, do it somewhere else. I'm trying to save this ball of dirt so either sit down and shut up or go fight the nice alien's cronies over there!"
Turning back to Suki, he put the razor back where it belonged. He took off his sunglasses and hung them from his lapel pocket.
"As far as repairs go, mate, best I can do is find a really, really good mechanic. In fact, I got one in mind what owes me a favor. I'll even make him do it free of charge."
He finally got around to tossing his wasted cigarette, and lit a fresh one.
"As far as the 4000 goes, little birdie tells me you already collected this month. Doesn't exactly sound fair to me now does it? We might not have been the most accommodating customers, what with the blond kid making you gut him, but a deal's a deal after all."

(Posting Order: Suki, Samael. The rest of you should be going off in the distance to fight, if you disagree with that and dont want to fight, feel free to remain here)
Suki smiled slightly as the creature claimed how unfair he had been. It was surprising to suki that at this point someone still felt like he was cheating. No no Cheating and fairness are only determined by the game being played, and this was suki's game, with suki's rules.
"Arnt you confident" Suki said, his tail waving in the background, it often did when he felt as though he was speaking to someone who would bring him entertainment. Clearly Sam was not someone who would physically attack him. But mentally the two were competing in witty banter, and this intrigued Suki, perhaps these people would yet survive.
"Well I made quite a long trip, and was attacked callously, that doesnt seem fair to me. How do you suggest we satisfy the matter?"
He said, willing to hear the demon out. When you speak so well, and earn the respect of Lord Touketsuki he will return the favor. Plus the demon was right, if he abused the yield it would become less bountiful, He really would rather have the money than another senseless death. The money held more value than yet another pathetic life atop his horn.

"Get...off...my...leg...DAMNIT!"
Xanden was currently locked in combat with Suki's lackey, who had quickly caught Xanden's leg. The lackey was much more powerful then Xanden, and quite quick to. Xanden struggled, trying to get his leg out of the tight grip it was locked in. Just moving his leg caused great pain to Xanden. As Xanden was about to go in for a punch to the face, Samael took out a rather threatening razor. It flickered in the sun, as Samael held it lazily at his side. Samael then turned towards Xanden, with a hard gaze.
"You heard the man, the adults are talking. If you wanna keep waving your fuzzy cock around, Xanden, do it somewhere else. I'm trying to save this ball of dirt so either sit down and shut up or go fight the nice alien's cronies over there!"
Xanden wasn't quite happy with Samael's tone, but he was one of the few who had gained Xanden's respect on his sort amount of time on this dust ball of a planet. Xanden for a moment just stood, staring at Suki with a face of pure rage. Xanden then wondered what the hell he was doing. After all, waiting to battle Suki seemed pointless since Suki had no interest in Samael most likely had some sort of plan. And even if it was just making some sort of deal with Suki that would only benefit himself, it would most likely be better than Xanden just throwing random punches at Suki.
Xanden started to clam down, taking a fresh breath of air. Xanden then slowly removed his foot from the lackey's foot, as Xanden addressed the powerful young alien.
"If it's okay with you, let's take this over there. One on one?"
Xanden pointed to a deserted area behind him, that was a grass filled field that went on for what seemed to be forever. It looked like a good place to hold a one on one battle, and might even provide a good way to prove to Suki that Xanden was more then some weakling panda man.

Caius tried to gauge the situation to the best of his ability.
Suki appeared to be attempting to extort money from the people present, but at what cost? What threat did he hold? His power? Would he wreak untold destruction upon this world? Looking at the power Suki was trying very hard to hold in check, Caius thought him more than capable of it.
Suki's subordinate and "Xanden," as the demon had called him, went to go and fight some distance from the ship. Jorlaxl appeared ready to fight for Suki, if the situation called for it, and Samael and Suki engaged in a verbal repartee over what compensation Suki could expect for the damage to his ship.
Caius slowly thought about how he could sow the most confusion, when a pleasing solution presented itself to him.
"Mister Suki! If I can beat Jorlaxl over there in a 1-on-1 fight, will you be willing to take me as an apprentice?"

"If it's okay with you, let's take this over there. One on one?" Said the Panda man.
"Very well if that is what you wish, I will gladly fight you."
Aice slowly levitated off the ground, raising into the air. Once he got to a decent height he looked down at the creature below him.
"Come along now, your fight a waits."
Aice faced towards the desert and flew towards it. Leaving a vapor trail behind him as we went.
( Xanden you should make the next topic)

Samael ignored the other Makaioshin and smiled at Suki. This creature was confident, self-assurance bled from his very pores. And why shouldn't it? He had incredible power, ancient peoples would have called him a god. Hell, some MODERN peoples would call him a god.
But every god has a devil to fear.
"Well, let's be honest here, mate. You didn't make the long trip here just to smell the roses and take in the scenery. You're a man of action, anyone can see that. Why you were here is irrelevant, though, at this point. Xanden acted out and now there's a price to be paid. Every action has a reaction, no?"
He took a long drag on his cigarette and held it for a moment before blowing it out in a series of rings.
"I happen to be an expert on payments owed, as it were. I understand where you're coming from, and you understand me - otherwise I'd be back down in hell, trying to claw my way out again. So here's what I propose: an armistice. A treaty, of sorts. Call it a show of good faith. I'll give you something. Say, half your usual tithe, 2000 zenni. However, this one time Earth gets something in return. Something minor, you won't miss it. In fact, I'll even give you a choice of what we get. Deal of the century. I look good, you look good, the papers and history books both sing our praises. More flies with honey, after all."

To describe Suki's reaction to this would be a simple word.
Hilarious.
Suki could not believe the Charisma and thievery that this man was using to get his way, Truly there was no reason what so ever for Suki to accept half his normal payment, and in turn give something to earth. How could he possibly swing this to make it look like a deal that Suki would be interested in, it was so funny his performance, that Suki did infact begin laughing.
However, laughing aside, He was willing to hear the demon out, if for no other reason than curiousity, and who know's, perhaps Suki would be willing to show his benevolence, it had been some time since he had laughed that hard, and this Demon had certainly earned something.
Calming himself Suki responded.
"Please continue, perhaps more to the point"
He said, genuinly fighting back continued laughter.
The Earth's danger was a game to him, simple as that, and if Samael could make the game more fun, then 2000 would be a fair trade, especially since suki did recognize his own greedy expectations, and perhaps he really would wait a month before returning.
But lets not get ahead of ourselves, first we have to hear the deal

Samael ignored Suki's laughter. He'd been laughed at before, he'd be laughed at again. Ultimately, he'd show them.
"Let me cut right to the chase then. I'll give you the 2000 zenni, and I get your soul. Either that or a small favor, called in whenever. And don't worry, the favor won't be anything like 'stop coming to Earth' or anything like that. In fact, I'll probably hold onto it to save my own bacon when you finally decide to decimate this place."
He dropped his cigarette and stepped on it.
"Don't hold up your deal though, and I get your soul. Just the way it works. Hell, if I could just give you the zenni and send you off, I would. It's just not in my power, or my nature to give someone something for nothing. Sure you could argue that I'm getting an extended lifespan in return, but unless you destroy me body and soul, then really all you've done is inconvenience me. Like a broken escalator."
He took a few steps around Suki, looking off into the distance. This one was a hard sell. He was used to getting everything he wanted without having to give anything back. He'd have to put something else on the table.
"It's not a bad deal, you know. Especially considering Earth's super-active Kami. He's gathering up all the little do-gooders and probably training them up right now to make them strong enough to stop you. Might even work. Of course, I've been trying to STOP the Kami for a while now, but without my own force of nasty sonsofbitches I can't do much of anything against the guy - and here you are nabbing up recruits right from under my nose."
He lit another cigarette.
"Who knows what tricks that creepy green bastard has up his sleeve?"

Suki began to laugh, a geuine and hearty laugh. It was loud although high pitched. The laughter became so intense that he even went as far as to grab his gut. What great humor on this one. When faced with death people respond differently, but what a jokester this one was.
Calming himself down enough to speak suki responded
"Oh well of course, 2000 for my soul is a great deal!"
However after a few moments he began to realize that his sarcasm was not met by the same. No this demon was serious, he wanted to trade suki's soul for 2000 Zenni, this was...insulting.
"You...are....serious...."
He couldnt believe that this demon had the audacity not only to try and strike a deal with suki, but then to offer up such a poorly weighted one at that. Taking away a beings soul was the same as not only killing them, but sending them to oblivion at your very whim, and Suki was not about to do the man any favors, especially for such a low fee.
"Do I look like a common mercenary to you!?"
Suki's tone had changed slightly, it had gone from clearly amused, to what could not be described as a calm sound, with a livid resonance behind it. Such like the eye of a storm, you knew something bad was going to come, and yet nothing was happening.
"Do you know who you are speaking to"
Suki wasnt sure what he said, or what he thought. But having given this demon a chance to make a deal, and being metaphorically slapped in the face was not something Suki enjoyed.
"I suggest you come up with something a little more reasonable before I lose my temper"
He said, having clearly already lost his cool. That was when Samael mentioned the Kami. Suki was unfamiliar with this Kami, but knew the word to mean spirit, or enlightened being. If that was the understanding, then perhaps it was the man whom had given him money before. It was the description of his skin that gave it away, Samael mentioned green, and frankly there was only one true race of green and that was the Namekian species. More importantly it was one that Suki knew all to well.
"Let them train, you underestimate my power. I could crush this planet right now if I wanted to, and wouldnt even have to charge up to 50%" Earth's warriors would likely be as strong if not stronger as zach had been, so it was understandable that he would have to transform, but even 10 zach's couldnt beat Suki at full power
"I have a new deal"
Suki said turning to face the creature who was now making his way behind suki.
"My ship WILL be repaired, that is free of charge due to your animal's actions. I would like it to also be able to fit an additional two men as it appears these two wish to join my fleet. If you can accomplish this, then I will not harm you, and as an added bonus will keep Aice from Murdering your pet. Then, if I am truly satisfied, I will be willing to do you a small favor, but I refuse to attach any negative stipulations to myself, I will decide if A favor is acceptable or not."
Suki did need his ship fixed, and more importantly if he was going to add members to his fleet, he needed a few more rooms. If this creature could do that for him, it would be worth a reasonable favor. Suki would gladly have someone killed for Sam, but he had one final part to his deal.
"Also, I couldnt help but hear the hatred in your voice when you mentioned the Kami, do I sense tension there?"
He said making light of the fact that clearly the demon did not approve of Kami.
"Well if you complete this deal I happen to know some juicy gossip, from a very accurate source about this particular man. If you should be so kind as to complete what I have asked, I would be willing to share that information with you"
Suki was not lying to the man, he really did know a dark secret about the Kami, something that currently only 3 people in the universe knew. He wasnt sure how it could be used to Sam's advantage, but the Kami was a powerful enemy to have, and certainly same would be interested in learning anything he could about the creature.

Post by Jorlaxl on Feb 9, 2012 19:13:28 GMT -5
This was the most interesting 15 minutes of Jorlaxl's life. Ever since he was reactivated, he was seeking excitement and thrills. Sure, the common people of the Earth was entertaining for a little bit, but that novelty quickly wore off. Jorlaxl resolved not too long ago to find bigger and better enemies, ones that will actually prove a challenge. Suki, obviously, is the biggest of these challenges. However, Jorlaxl didn't even dream of attacking Suki. He's his master now.
Master.
Jorlaxl could feel the kick coming on, and he did nothing to stop it. He didn't mind. In fact, he welcomed it. He felt like he deserved this. Xanden was a good rival, and Jorlaxl would miss his sparring buddy. However, this was the chance of a lifetime. And who knows? Maybe they'll meet up again someday. But before the kick could connect, Suki's henchman (Aice, is it?) quickly (too quick for Jorlaxl to see) grabbed Xanden's leg. Seeing it as a sign of mutual respect, Jorlaxl stood up and made a quick bow to the alien outsider out of respect.
Watching the events unfold, Jorlaxl kept his mouth shut, not wanting to put himself into the affairs of Suki's private affairs. He stood silently, glaring at Xanden until he and Aice flew away, apparently on a 1 on 1 sparring session. Them gone, that only left himself, Suki, and the two not-humans. One appeared quite business-like, and the other looked to have the personality of no more than a child. The salesman talked to Suki about things Jorlaxl didn't care about, which left the other one.
Jorlaxl watched him with interest, and when he asked for a one on one sparring match with him, Jorlaxl grinned. At last! A chance to show myself capable of being Suki's follower! Looking at Suki, and then to Caius, Jorlaxl said "Suki, sir. Allow me to fight this being, to prove myself to you." Jorlaxl bowed, and awaited Suki's response.
This thing becoming Suki's apprentice? Laughable.

Suki suddenly came to realize they were not alone, he had been so involved in his conversation with Samael that he had forgotten about the two creatures who were interested in joining him. Unfortunately he hadnt the patients or time to deal with the blood-lust these two were exerting.
"Ansy arnt you two... Look why dont you go watch Aice fight the...er...furry cock as he was named, and learn a thing or two. But please leave me and Samael to this"
He said dismissing the two surprisingly loyal new comers.

Sam was disappointed in himself. Seems the old sales pitch was too human-oriented. It relied on a certain sense of helplessness, and if there was one thing Sam hated to admit, he was the helpless one in this transaction.
"I'll have my man fix your ship, that's a courtesy. Adding rooms...we'll see about that, I may have to call in more favors, which is a larger expense to me than you know. But I want to get a couple things straight real quick. First, Xanden is far from my pet - and I don't mean that to say he's his own independent soul with emotions and all that garbage. I mean I don't give a shit what happens to him. Only reason I stepped in when I did is because you've got a wicked temper on you and this planet happens to be where I keep the majority of my stuff."
He polished off the second cigarette, and considered a third.
"I'm afraid if you won't put in your soul, the 2000 is off the table. Seems you value your soul higher than most - not a bad thing, mind you. Though I'd be willing to take a DIFFERENT soul, one of your men - Aice even - if you still demand the money."
He smiled. It was likely that Suki didn't value his men nearly as highly as Samael valued his own. Sticks and Stones weren't quite as powerful as he'd like, but they were nearly as depraved as he was.
"If Kami is what I think he is, you should keep an eye on the warriors he's gathered. Birdies tell me there's been some big developments, transactions even I haven't been able to gather the full details of."
And then Suki put a nice juicy steak on the table.
"Any dirt is good dirt. He's bad for business, so anything you give me could be helpful. Frankly, mate, I think you and I could develop one hell of a working business relationship, with just a touch of mutual respect and a little leeway here and there."

Suki thought for a moment on Sam's words about Xanden, it was confusing to him that although Samael had a need for these soldiers, Xanden was still unimportant to him, so much so that the idea of his death didnt even faze him. This brought on new question's about Samael.
However there was a small difference between himself and Samael. Yes Suki would abuse his men in battle and training. Would talk down to them and scorn them repeatedly. But when it came down to it, their lives were important to him. Mostly on a level of need, because a tyrant with no army, while still capable, is not as fearsome. But also on a small moral level. Those who turned to Suki did get the benefit of his protection so long as it did not inconvenience him. And 2000 just wasnt worth it, hell he had spent a lot of money crafting Gurin into who he was, and Aice was an accet due to his superior race, it just simply wouldnt do to have them under such a binding contract. Suki was surprised that his pitch even worked on humans.
How cowardly this planet must be
He thought, responding with the final bargain he would put out for the man.
"Alright then, really If I should get the extra seats, it would be worth forgiving the er...Fluff that you dont care about... As well as giving up this information, and to put the cherry on top I might agree with you, that is to say it might be nice to have an informant here on earth."
The deal had been set on the table one last time, for the price of knowledge, Suki would try to obtain the extra seats he needed on his ship.
He couldnt believe that he had decided to haggle with this being further, even though the ball was in suki's court, and he had the upper hand, he still felt a need to press on. Hell he could probably afford to buy the new ship's rooms, but this demon had a charm about him. One that no matter how strong suki was, it was proving to be difficult to get around.

((Sorry for the delay, this weekend's been a real shit show))
Samael gritted his teeth. Informant? He was no informant. He had absolutely no intent on being anyone else's lackey. But for now, he was in no place to argue. He needed to get this alien off-planet and fast.
"I'll be in touch with my man and send him out here. If he's got the chops to add the rooms then he'll add them. If not, he'll make the repairs at least and you can kill Xanden. Now, about that information..."
He forced a smile - he wanted that dirt on Kami, but he was done with beating around the bush. Some people don't respond to charisma, and Suki was one of them. He gestured to Sticks and Stones, and the smaller man pulled out a cell phone and walked away a bit to make a call, presumably to call the mechanic Samael had in mind.

Suki let out a sigh, he had wanted a more definite answer, but to be honest the information he held was not so much helpful as it was shocking. As a matter of fact it wasnt even something that Suki was certain of, but rather something he had been told in passing. However the evidence was strong enough for Suki to proceed.
"Well then, just know if I am not satisfied with the work, I will be paying you a visit"
Suki said as he looked back towards his ship
"You know well what the Kami looks like dont you?"
He said, looking straight at the door to his ship and letting out a loud yelp, as if calling someone from within. He then looked back at Samael to continue speaking. His tail curled with excitement, the idea of this scandal was entertaining, as if he were watching earth's day time television.
"Well get a good mental picture of him, consider every facial feature he has"
Suki couldnt take it any longer, it was hysterical to him that nobody on earth had learned of this revelation yet, and the moment Gurin stepped out from the ship he blurted out
"Now who does that look like to you?!"
Gurin was Suki's Namekian henchmen, he had been traveling with suki from the beginning, and was easily his most valiant of warriors. His potential was unmatched even by Aice. But even more important was the fact that Gurin, did indeed look like a younger copy of Kami.
Although most Namekians shared looks, these two were uncanny in similarity. Given a few wrinkles Gurin would look Identical to Kami, and it was then that Suki said what Samael may have already been thinking.
"Did you know your Kami had a child?"
