The Ghost Town

Ryoga came upon The wreckage of a old city that seemed to be ravaged by something during his travels. There was no people around but plenty of material to make a spear if he needed to. Ryoga picked up a loose pole, some electrical wire and tons of broken metal (most likely from hover cars)
and put them in his bag. "I should be able to make something really cool with all this stuff" said Ryoga.

Ryoga wondered about and saw pieces of candy leftover on the ground. "Now what's a bunch of candy doing in the middle of the road?" asked Ryoga. He looked around for someplace to stay the night there was only recked inns and hotels and the beds had collapsed. Ryoga was pretty mad. Ryoga thunder punched a wall which made a whole building collapse. "oops! well i'm glad it's abandoned at least"
Ryoga couldn't help but wonder how that central tower was still standing. Must've been made of something tough!

If that was the case their must be food and a place to sleep for the night in there! Ryoga thought as he dashed off towards the central tower.

Yoko who was in her customary everyday run of the mill carefree state had happened to somehow end up it was seemed to be a grave yard for machines. This must be the place where the human's machine went before they died, or maybe this was an ancient battle ground where the cars transformed into huge fighting robots and fought each for reasons unknown. Stopping in her tracks she placed her left hand on her hip and started to bite the right side of her lip letting the left side pucker out just a tad.

Yoko Thick blue bangs slightly danged in front of her face as she looked around the area a bit more. The ground was lifeless all that could be seen was small little rodent ran across the ground. A fat over side rat hastily shuffled his large body over one of Yoko's big black boots. She quickly jumped back as the wind caught on to the baggy ill lighted black pants that she wore.

Scared half to death at the little crater she grabbed slightly on her green otter shirt. Her small fist forming tight balls around the shirts fabric. Her under shit was being tugged on as well as she took to the air and gazed down at the ground to see where the little fiend had gone. Her sky blue eyes dashed from the left to the right of her surrounds. The mixture beast was gone. Taking a deep breath Yoko floated slowly back down to the ground. As her feet connect to the ground she releases the air form her mouth letting the warm air flow from off her lips.

Just when she had fully calmed herself down she heard a loud ruckus in the distance. The crumbling of bricks and stone could be heard. It was clear to her that something had just falling down. Could the little monster be the cause of it? She thought as she again floated up into the air to get a better look at the entire area. A figure then dashed into her line of sight as she watched it speed off toward what seemed to be some type of large tower.

Without a second thought Yoko flew of following the figure she saw running. It funny actually the little beast that ran over her leg scared her almost to death, but she had seen something even bigger fast and most likely stronger running away from her and she felt enticed to follow.

Ryoga went inside and noticed lots of offices and workstations. "hmm must be the central workstation or something" said ryoga as he wondered up the stairs which were surprisingly well held together. Ryoga noticed more offices and a bigger room that could only belong to someone important. "Is this the mayor's residence? If so how come it's barely taken a scratch?" ryoga pondered

Ryoga searched through the drawers for anything useful. "Hmm let's see a pair of scissors, a key to the city and reading glasses. None of these i need. But i could customize these glasses for my own use if i ever get the chance." Ryoga said as he stashed them in his bag. I wonder if he has any provisions stashed away in case of emergency? Ryoga said as he took the key to the city and wondered about the office.

Yep just as i thought! There's a safe here with a key slot in it! Ryoga opened it to find money but not the kind he preferred. "Decrepit old money?! ah man! this isn't any use to me! Ryoga Thunder punched the wall which activated a hidden wall to open where all the preservatives were. Well that was convenient said ryoga as he gathered some supplies and put them in his bag. Ryoga also found a tape with a title saying "Central City's demise" Ryoga was surprised as he heard of central city and it was supposed to be a very wide spread city with lots of people but was reduced to this.

The author was undisclosed but said they survived and are passing this onto whoever may find it.
Ryoga was fine with that but had no working tv set to play it on or one that would play tapes for that matter. Ryoga sensed someone approaching fast and he knew that he wasn't very strong so he hid in the secret wall after he closed it.

The person Yoko had followed walked into the tower. His manner and pace only lead her to believe that he was indeed looking for something. Continuing to follow the man she to walked in the building. The first thing she noticed was the floor walls and everything inside where nothing like the grave yard just had just left out doors. A voice then echoed from the stairs. Yoko's eyes looked on the stair and started to walk toward them.

Slowly she climbed the stairs as she again heard the voice. It was the voice of a male, but it seemed as though he was talking to himself. Anyone near could hear the ruffling and moving of objects. Was he some kind of theft.......could he have done all of this damage? It seemed possible due to this whole building looked almost untouched and he had just walked in for the first time. When Yoko had reached the top of the steps she just stood in the door way and watched the guy walk around the room.

it! Ha, she Knew it! He was a theft. He had Destroyed this town all so he could get a few Zenni. Yoko's eyes narrowed as she continued to look on at him. Surprisingly he seemed to get mad when he found the money. What kind of theft would start to become upset when the find money? Yoko thought to her self as she started to move closer to him. So far she had shown him he was a no good theft and not even a smart one at that.

Yoko was ready to speak to the theft but he quickly hid behind a wall as if she did not see him, This guy is really goofy did he really think that she did not see him? Maybe he was some crazy guy that lost his mind in the battle and now he just breaks things. She had no clue but what ever it was she would soon find out. Lifting her hand up her palm facing the wall he stood behind she shout out loud.

"You have 5 seconds to come out and tell me why your stealing from this place or I will be forced to fire of my attack! Ready? Five......Four.....Three.....Two......One.....!

Ryoga could only think that this person was the undisclosed survivor of whatever was on the tape he found. Ryoga calmly walked out of his hiding place to reveal hi Spiky red hair, Brown eyes and Cross necklace that he always wore around his neck. He was wearing the usual Collared overshirt with black t-shirt under it and jeans with blue hiking shoes to make it. "Stealing? In case you forgot this place was hit by a disaster of some sort and was abandoned! But only the survivor of this cataclysm would make up stuff like that" Ryoga pointed to Yoko "You're the lone survivor that made this tape telling what REALLY happened here to make it abandoned aren't you?!"

"Although i never imagined it would be someone around my age let alone a cute girl" said Ryoga with a grin

Ryoga started to walk off towards another part of the office building "If you know of any televisions that play tapes anymore feel free to tell me "Miss cute Survivor" because i'm pretty much lost about the whole tape you decided to pass on to whoever finds it".

Yoko's eyes widened as the young man walked out her sky blue eyes met his spiky red hair then quickly connecting to his brown eyes.

Her mouth then dropped as she looked on at the cross that rested around his neck. Yoko's moments stopped she didn't even bother to get a good look at anything else. All she really cared about what the cross, dozens of thought ran through her head as just stood there motionless.

"Although I never imagined it would be someone around my age let alone a cute girl" said Ryoga with a grin

Not hearing a word Yoko kept her eye focused on the cross until the guy in front of her started to turn around. He was just about to take a step when Yoko quickly stepped in front of him.

Like a flash of light she stood no more than a hair's length away from him. Both of her hands pointed at the cross as she still continued to stare at the cross her wore. At this close quarters like these it was clear to see that she stood at 5'8 inches tall.

What are you? Why do you wear that cross? You're eyes they are brown? I have not seen that before! Yoko said in a high pitched voice.

She was so excited she could not contain herself. This is the first person she had seen in a while that wore a cross. Maybe she was wrong about being far from home. A huge smile appeared on her face.

She possibly could only be around the corner from her planet; well at least at a galaxy stand point. The brown eyes were different though, she thought. maybe he was a different type of Wangetsu. She could not wait to hear him speak again she was ready for him to answer her every question.

Ryoga was shocked as the girl got in way to close to him and her hands were near his lucky charm.
"Hey get away from that! That's all i have left of my parents before they left me at the orphanage when i was a baby! Ryoga backed away from the girl and noticed she too had a cross necklace but it was a little different that his.

Then he took in her question. What do you mean what am i? I'm Ryoga Sbatta and i prefer you'd tell me if you have any clue to where my parents are as you seem to have a necklace just like mine.
My eyes? What is that to you? you don't like people's natural eye colors?! I was told by many people my eyes were rather hazel looking and that is looked nice.

Ok obviously if you're not the survivor from this tape i found then who are you?

Re-Oh-Ga Sah-Batt-Ah! So are you Human? Yoko asked as she backed up from in front of him. She wanted to believe that he was indeed Wangetsu, but it could not be true. Things where off, for one, his hair was one solid color, his eyes were brown and a Wangetsu of any kind would never hide. She knew of a few ways to test him but she was not sure if it was such a good idea.


Yoko gave Ryoga a huge toothy smile, as she placed both her hands behind her back. slowly she started to bounce up and down on her tip toes. She sky blue eyes gazed into his brown hazel eyes, her thick blue bangs shook just a bit cover her eyes every so often. She was not sure what to say next she just bounced up and down waiting for something to spark conversation again.

Ok obviously if you're not the survivor from this tape i found then who are you?


The tape you were trying to steal? she said with a smirk on her face. She started to laugh a little while she continued to bounce. I'm not to sure as to what the tape will show, but I do know one thing that is on the tape... You're finger prints. She then pulled hands from behind her back. show the palms of her hand to Ryoga and shaking her fingers as if to put infatuated on the finger tips.


Oh and My name is Youkou But you can call me Yoko!"

"Well Met Yoko" *shakes her hand*

"But in case you forgot this place is abandoned so i don't see why i can't take a few things that i need for my travels, feel free to join me it's always nice to have some company"

Ryoga let go of her hand and started to walk off towards the exit

"Would you like to come along or not? I'm gonna find out the truth behind what happened here as soon as i find something that can play this old tape"

Ryoga spotted several abandoned houses as he walked along the road.

"Ok Yoko one of those houses has to have a working television that can play this, we're gonna excavate and explore the ruins of these houses, that ok with you?"

"Well Met Yoko" *

Ryoga said as he placed his hand out as if thought he wanted shake her hand. She too commenced to reaching out her hand, as the palms met their finger wrapped around the back side of each other hands. Yoko had noticed that his grip was stiff but not firm. Either he was trying to be fragile with her or he was not at all any were near the level of a Wangetsu. She decided to go with her first thought. He didn't want to hurt her so she grabbed her hand so unbelievably baby soft.

Yoko was not sure if she had but too much pressure into the hand shake so she attempted to recalibur the pressure she placed on his hand. She really had hoped that she did not hurt him or make him thing in less of her. The first meeting was always the most important, well that was she could remember being told by her father growing up.

"But in case you forgot this place is abandoned so I don't see why I can't take a few things that I need for my travels, feel free to join me it's always nice to have some company"

"Just because it is laying her does not make it right to take it." Yoko then stomped her right foot on the ground as she placed both hands on each hip. Her blue eyes narrowed. "A theft is a theft and a liar and a cheat!" She then poked her lips out; she started to get a little angry. "I'm going to ask you put everything back or else!" Her hands dropped to her side as she walked toward Ryoga. Her eyes had become even narrower than before.

It's seemed as first as if he had pretty much just tuned her out. He had not only turned around and walked out on her but he start yet another conversation. Yoko followed him outdoors to where he had started to speak about building as such. The type that humans would live in. He wanted her to find a tape player. What is a tape player.... none the less what is tape she thought to herself as she looked on at the boy who stood in her line of sight. She was almost ready to yell at him to put the stuff back but she restrained herself and waited for Ryoga to acknolage her.

It's not that Ryoga didn't care about what yoko had to say it's just he was to curious as to what was on this tape. He looked over to Yoko and handed her his bag.

"Here. Anything that isn't dried food is mine ok? Besides i didn't have much to begin with besides some food i made and my dream to become a legendary spearman"

Inside the bag was multiple dried provisions (that he found) a half eaten ham and cheese sandwich, a few slices of apple pie, and a bottle of water.
Along with some metal from a hover-car, some wire and a metal pole.
But no sign of a spear anywhere.

"Anyways a tape-player is supposed to be something they played these on *shows the tape* and if we can find a working tv with one "i can provide the electricity" considering that a dump like this probably has none anymore."

Yoko watched as Ryoga looked toward her and handed her the bag. So he was paying attention she though to herself. Slowly she reached out and grabbed the bag. Her grip was loose, so loose in fact if he were to grab it or a strong gust of wind blew she would have lost the hold she had on it. Pulling the bag down to her stomach and placing her free and around loose bag under her right hand which was softly gripping the bag.


"Here. Anything that isn't dried food is mine ok? Besides I didn't have much to begin with besides some food I made and my dream to become a legendary spear-man"


At first Yoko did not understand what he was referring to. She tilted her head slightly to the left and bit her bottom lip. "What was he talking about dried food?" Reverting her head back to the normal upright position her eyes fell back on to the bag that rested just in front of her stomach. As she opened the bag her eyes focused On the half eaten ham and cheese sandwich which laid next to cold dirty metal a few slices of Apple pie which had left reddish stains on what looked to be parts of a hover car or something close to over hover car. What ever it was all it didn't was make Yoko cringe. She turned her nose upward at this as she stuck out her tongue.

"This just can't be sanitary, Here! Whatever you need this for take it just don't show it to me again please!"

Whatever your're trying to look at I guess I can help you out. The sooner we do something else the faster I can get that image out of my head. She then shook her head as though she was trying to shake the thought out her head. He surely is not a Royal if he is at all A Wangetsu.

"Let's get start than shall we?"

Ryoga took his bag back and started examining the houses for signs of a tape player. There was many broken tape players and many broken televisions. Ryoga found a house that had a basement with a tape player in it and working tv although they were in separate places in the house. Once finished Ryoga found a old power outlet and plugged it in. After trying to turn on the television there was obviously no power so Ryoga grabbed the outlet and gave it a charge with his Lightning powers.

"That should do it, ok now to plug it in" He plugged it in and the television turned on.
"Ok now we place the tape in here and then this" Ryoga pushed play and was surprised, furious, and horrified all at the same time.

The tape is showing a pink creature zapping all of the people with a beam that turns them into candy and the creature eats them. The creature was seen blowing up most of the city and eating everyone of the citizens.

"How can a Monster like that even exist?!" Said Ryoga. The tape went to the credits with the survivor saying "If only i could have prevented this" The voice was that of a older man.
In the credits everyone that lost there lives was displayed on it and the survivor added "To those watching i may or may not be alive anymore but i shall pass on this to you. Rebuild our city and bring it back to prosperity and if you ever see the monster that ruined our beloved land please do your best to bring it to justice" after that the tape ended completely.

Still not sure as to what was going on Yoko placed her hands behind her head as she walked with a straight legged High steps following behind Ryoga. Whatever it was he was looking for he must have really want to find it. Ryoga and Yoko went from house to house looking for the mysterious item. After several attempts going from house to house and seeing these strange contraptions she began to get the idea. He was looking for these little boxes. The strange thing was none of them worked the way he wanted them too.


Final after what seemed to be hours of searching they had found a Television which was upstairs laying face down on a carpet in an average size home. It had a few nicks and dents but after being plugged back into a power outlet it was clear that it still would work fine. Moving down to the basement he had stomped across a tape player. "What's are the odds of you finding both of the objects you were looking for in the same house. Why would the be separated through" Yoko thought. 'I mean they work together to put a message in your head or something like tat right?"


Yoko Sat down and started to play with her thumbs as Ryoga started to set everything up. As she finished Yoko looked up at the screen. Ryoga looked to be disturbed at the image. Their was some Gummy man attack everyone. He looked as though he was some type of fighter but it was not to clear. He would just zap everyone with a laser beam attack. each person he hit fell to the grown stiff. "What is he turning them into....is that.... rock?" As the tape went off Yoko looked at Ryoga then back at the Television as though there was going to be more.

"I see" Said Ryoga as he got up and gave the tape to Yoko.
"This cataclysm was meant to be passed on to whoever finds it. But i think it's best no one else knows about this as it's just to horrifying for human eyes, do me a favor yoko and destroy that tape ok? Besides i have a hunch that creature isn't around anymore."

Ryoga got up and walked towards the exit and saw many people leaving from rebuilding a old dojo.
"That's what i'm talking about! A Dojo! Hey Yoko you want to check it out with me? You don't have to but earlier today that dojo was a wreck.

Either way Ryoga does his usual and dashes off
