Waiting for the Saiyan

[Nam Reikonaga]

Nam was flying around Mount Paozu, watching over the dinosaurs and all the animals. He was searching for a nice spot where he could wait peacefully for Antary’s arrival. They agreed to meet up here and talk about… anything really. But Nam’s biggest concern was that ability he had, which allowed his power level to burst within seconds.

Nam finally found a high place where he could land on. The wind was wonderful. Nam breathed in deeply and began to focus. The wind soon changed its course and instead of going west, it began to swirl around his tensed body and push everything away from him; dust, debris, anything of the sort. Now it was as if the wind currents were coming out of his body, as if he were producing them himself; but that was not likely. His red aura then kicked in and flared around his body, flickering like a flame.

He was raising his energy in order to be found by Antary; although, he could be sensed by anyone and this could attract problematic entities like Meishi –or the sort. Watching the animals getting hunted or doing their silly little shinanigans beneath him began to distract him and he noticed it wasn’t allowing his to fully concentrate, so he closed his eyes and solely focused every fiber of his body on getting spotted. He was also sensing his surroundings, making sure he wasn’t caught off guard by some mishap.


(Sorry for the short and lazy post.. xP I'm really loosing the mood to post and it's probably because of the Central City thread. I hope activity picks up soon and with it, my desire to RP. )

[Antary]

Antary was awaken through a sneeze caused by the many tiny insects clawing all around the mountains. He lazily proceeded to yawn and stretch out, doing some basic warm up excercises and finally sitting back down in front of John`s house, realizing that he had nothing to eat, and he was pretty darn hungry. Well, maybe he could blast a deer or something?
Focusing a tiny bit of energy in his finger, he shot it at the nearest meaty looking animal. It was a deer passing by. The blast hit him and exploded. The deer was gone, though there was a bit of blood on the trees.

"GOD DARN IT!" roared the saiyan, angry at himself being too strong to even hunt efficiently. "And what`s with this stupid feeling, it feels like something`s stuck in my head and won`t get out!.." And then it hit him. Someone was around here. Someone strong, and his energy signature was all over the place. Was it Meishi? Did someone follow him? Wait a minute.

That`s right, he had a meeting arranged. And HE told Nam to raise his power level so that he is easier to find. "Maybe that guy has food. I hope he does." Antary flew upwards, looking around. While this signal was noticeable, it was hard to track. The saiyan sparked his white aura and flew at a great speed, gradually tracking down the source of the strength, like a radar would. The closer he got, the stronger this feeling, the further, the weaker.

"So there you are." Antary slowly descended with his arms crossed, a shadow of a smile on his face, probably something unusual for a pure-blooded saiyan. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

Nam instantly stopped leveling his energy and allowed it to drop as he smiled back at the saiyan, who arrived and landed in front of him. Antary skipped all the introductions and courtesies; going straight to the questions. Nam decided to follow through and went on with his inquiries.

“Well, there are quite a few things I could ask you about, being a saiyan on earth and all. Like, why are you here, what are your motives, and the sort. But from our encounter in Central City, it doesn’t seem like you’re the stereotypical saiyan –or so I hope. Anyway…” Nam paused for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts. How should he ask or describe? “My real concern has to do with that ability you displayed back there. It was… weird, but overwhelming. One second you were… ‘normal’ in the sense that you are how you are –or I feel you are right now. But then in the next, your power skyrocketed with this scarlet red aura and allowed you to match your punches with Meishi.”

Nam wasn’t sure whether the saiyan had managed to decifer his words –they might as well be coded. But he went on anyway, “what was that? How did you do it?”

[Antary]

Antary took a seat on the ground, relaxing and looking at the clear blue sky. Nam bombarded him with questions, but they weren`t in a hurry. The saiyan knew the main reason why Nam came here, but a little talk wouldn`t hurt, right?
"It`s a long story, but let`s just say that I came to this planet on accident." He leans back, now laying down, hands crossed behind his head. "It`s peaceful here, so I decided to stay for a while and train. Even found a teacher for myself. Well, not really found, instead he found me." Antary was talking calmly, really unlike saiyans normally do. He himself noticed the strange behaviour, but couldn`t help it.
"I`m not planning to stay here forever, I just want to train some more until I feel confident enough to leave." The saiyan sighs, but then continues.
"The ability I used is called Kaioken. My teacher, he calls himself John, taught me it. I don`t know who he is, what his purpose is or anything about him at all, just that he taught me it. I do it by simply using my ki to boost my body`s limits, but I noticed that it`s really damn tiring to use. Other than that, there are details that the old man will probably be better at explaining than me." He lazily stretches out and jumps, keeping himself in the air. "Follow me, if you want to meet him."

As the saiyan made himself comfortable and began to answer Nam’s questions, Nam was beginning to grow more interested in the man. He listened as Antary explained his visit on earth was accidential, but he didn’t elaborate. Nam sat down on the ground, facing the saiyan. He laid his hands behind his body for support, and his legs were dangling lazily in front of him. He observed the saiyan closely, he couldn’t get a decent look at him in the heat of the battlefield, but now they were just talking.

Antary had his brown monkey tail moving carelessly behind him, he had the black hair and eyes. Those were the first things Nam had observed in the battlefield. It was what allowed him to deduct that this man was a pure-blooded saiyan. He also wore a blue saiyan suit, it was basically a blue jump suit under white and yellow armor –and his white boots. He was a saiyan from head to toe, but he was different somehow. He allowed himself to be taught by a ‘mere human’ as some might say. And he didn’t seem to be threatening. Then again, maybe the saiyan was just THAT smart; waiting for the right moment to attack. Nam wrenched the thought out of his head. I'm half a saiyan, I shouldn't entertain such close-minded assumptions...

Nam then looked up a bit surprised. Antary was offering to take Nam to the same man who taught him the Kaioken, John. He wasn’t sure how to feel about it, he was finally gonna learn the new ability which would probably help him get out of the weaker category and perhaps gain the power he needs to effectively protect the earth from entities like Meishi or others. On the other hand, Nam was now more interesting in Antary, he wanted to know his background. But he assumed it could wait until later. It would be wiser too, considering any colossal difference between the two could probably cause some sort of confrontation.

“Alright.” Nam smiled, standing back up from the ground; preparing to take flight.
