Virion stood frozen, a trembling woman still grasped in his hand, listening to the transmission as it took place, transfixed.
[/i]
How could this be? Touketsuki Alive? Boliko Koregutsu, Alive?
"Impossible..." he breathed, barely even a whisper
How? Why? ... ... How?
They were dead, both of them long gone!
Virions hand slackened, and the terrified woman, seeing her opening through the monsters distraction, pulled free as soon as the grip was lose enough and bolted for it.
Virion didn't even cast her a backward glance however, walking slowly over to the radio and picking it up in both hands instead, eyes burning intently as a thousand thoughts rushed through his head. The transmission was over and the device had gone silent. The television had also returned to it's mindless stream of human rubbish. But Virion barely even noticed these, he was instead darting through the hundreds of possible reasons this was happening.
Were they brought back to life when the universe was restored? It's possible, and that in itself opened a whole new universe of discourse.
Were these a different Boliko and Touketsuki merely re-enacting the historic event? To what purpose? No... it did not seem likely.
Virion turned, intending to ask the woman the meaning of this nonsense, but she was gone, and Virion was far to self absorbed to go and catch her.
King Boliko, previous ruler of planet Vegeta and mighty saiyan warrior, had just made his declaration of war against Touketsuki, deceased ruler of the World Trade Organisation. It would mark the beginning of an embittered struggle between the two galactic factions, the World Trade Organisation and the Saiyan Solar Empire. He had just declared the mighty battle of planet Namek...
But this wasn't possible, those people couldn't be here, couldn't be there. That battle had happened over a hundred years ago, more even! Virions makers hadn't even created their first working bio-android at the time of that fight, It was long before Virion's time, and yet he had heard it with his own ears, even picked up on the transmission itself in his mind. What possible reason or explanation could there be for the repetition now of such a message? Virion tried to relax himself, to not jump straight to any outlandish conclusions when the answer could instead be far more mundane.
Perhaps the signal had gotten trapped in space, and was only now relaying to earth? Perhaps it was a recording, being replayed for some academic purpose by this woman?... no.
What if Kami Gurin had somehow sent the transmission here to gain Virion's attention? Had finally realised who Virion was and... but then why of all things would he do this...?
Virion did consider another option, one he couldn't stop from gnawing at his mind, another possibility...
Like a cancer it grew, manifesting in every fibre of his being. If it was true we would need some way to confirm, some way to check! He had always felt something, knew something. It seems impossible and yet...
Virion needed to know what was going on, needed to find out exactly which of his suspicions were true. This might well be some sort of deception or hoax, some perfectly reasonable explanation, but if not, if it proved to be something more, regardless of what that may actually be, than it could have any number of very serious ramifications.[/color]

"...and I come to you with a plea.
"More than likely, however, is that you have heard of Touketsuki Yakedo and the villainous World Trade Organization. They roam from planet to planet like a band of pirates, killing and pillaging. So far they have gone fairly unchallenged - but this ends now.
"So far, fighters of the white have always been bested by Touketsuki - and this ends now!
"I plead, whatever race you are, whatever cause you follow, whatever you wish to be - put prejudice beside, and be my brother. Fight Touketsuki by my side, on the planet Namek!
"And... Yakedo. I know you will hear this. I call you out. Come to Namek and we shall see who is the best warrior, and I promise not to bore you..."
