A friendly spar (Ozikai vs Ryoga)

Ozikai was exploring the planets different places.
He found some places that were blazing hot and others that were covered in ice.
He found some tropical places and others that were filled with wild animals.
Then while he was flying he found somewhere called the Yunzabit heights.

It was a barren wasteland that seemed to have no one else living.
It was disserted, it may have had people there before but not anymore.
He could use this harsh land to help out his training.

The sun was beating down on him and he was tired.
He was flying laps around this land for hours for some training.
He was getting tired and he stayed there and rested.

Then he awoke in the land.
He must have fallen asleep during his resting.
It was falling into night now and it had become colder.

He flew up off the ground and started flying again.
Then he stopped where he was.
He could feel a presence.
What was it, another power level?

Ozikai looked around and followed the power level.
Yes now he could fell it stronger.
There was someone else here with him.
He was probably another fighter training here.

This land may have been empty but it was a good spot for training.

The power level was higher than most natives.
But it wouldn’t be a problem for Ozikai.
He blasted after the power level.
Wanting to see who this man was.

"Well this stinks i'm hopelessly lost and that Driver that got me here seems to have ditched me" Ryoga's Red spiky hair stuck out like a sore thumb to anyone who would pass by, his face was filled with sweat as his hazel brown eyes tried to look for a way out of here. And his cross necklace dangled from his neck like usual. Ryoga had luckily been wearing a white t-shirt today and red shorts while his other clothes were in his bag.

"Not any signs of water around here, i wonder though if i can find a gas station out here."

Ryoga's Blue hiking shoes were getting dirty with each step and Ryoga Luckily had his leftover bottle of water with him for how long that would last him he didn't know. Ryoga Mainly was looking for a gas station or at least a river he could refill his bottle with. Ryoga was all alone and had no car, barely any money, and barely enough supplies to last him.

It was his dream to become a legendary spearman and the hope to find his parents that drove him forward. Although he didn't know what awaited him on the road ahead.

"Well that's it no more water" Ryoga looks around and sees not a cactus or river in sight. "Looks like i'm gonna die of thirst" Ryoga pressed on and when it came to the point he would need water he had none. Ryoga collapsed soon after from exhaustion.

Ozikai continued to follow the power level.
Then he suddenly felt it grow weaker.
Then it was almost gone.
The person with power must be losing conscious.

Ozikai picked up speed now.
He flew faster and faster.
Then he stopped because he could see something in the distance.
It looked to be a young man.
He was lying on the ground.

This must have been the power that he had felt.
He flew down to the exhausted man.
When he reached the ground he ran over to him.

He studied the body before him.
He looked like he was dehydrated.
He pulled out his bottle of water and gave him a drink.

Ryoga's eyes opened as he received the drink then he started to stand up only after drinking his fill.

"Ahhhhh! Wow man you're a lifesaver thanks a lot!"

Ryoga started to walk off then stopped noticing that this person that saved him was nowhere near a river or village or anything. Ryoga Tilted his head then noticed this guy had to have some way of getting here other then running really fast but what?

Ryoga just walked up to his savior and held out his hand for a handshake.

"Thanks again and the name's Ryoga Sbatta and i'm planning to become a legendary spearman known throughout the world!, Well i thought i was about to give up on that dream until you magically appeared, Oh well you don't know of any river areas around here do you?"

Ryoga wanted to know more about his savior, that and a place that has water and supplies.

The man stood up and thanked Ozikai for saving him.
He wanted to know more about him.
The man extended his arm out and.
Ozikai shacked his hand and smiled.

“I’m happy I could help you.”
“Now it looks like you could use some help.”
“Follow me and I can take you to an oasis.”

They walked off together, both thirsty.
When they arrived at the oasis they were now very thirsty.
Ozikai showed the man where the water was.

“I have been out here for hours and this is all the water I could find.”

Ozikai could tell that this man was a fighter.
He could feel his power level.
It was higher than most of the natives around here.

“Now tell me how did you end up out here?”

"I was hitchhiking with this one truck driver who actually let me in but after passing through here on the way to the nearest city we stopped for gasoline, well i went to the bathroom real quick to wash my face and hands and when i came out of the bathroom i was stranded there at the gas station. I'd be fine if i had any money but the orphanage couldn't give me much so i walked as far as i could with what i had and ran out of water and that's where i met you."

Ryoga filled his bottle with water and took a good amount of drinks before he talked again.

"Still though i have like no supplies left but i guess a little training could help lighten my spirits, still i'm not really as strong as i look, you want to be my training partner?"

Ozikai stopped and thought for a second.
“A training partner.”

Ozikai knew that this gut was stronger than most natives.
However compared to himself he was not very good.
He could use someone to train with.
Ozikai did not see any reason why not to.

Ozikai already had one student.
But one more would not be a bad thing.
He could use another person to spar with.

“Sure why not.”
“But firstly before i teach you i would like to test your abilites if you dont mind.”
"A friendly spar."

Ozikai wanted to see just how strong this guy was.
The only real way to do that is to fight.

Ryoga Warmed up with a few exercises beforehand and then without much delay launched the first punch. Nothing special about that punch other it was meant to hurt the other within striking distance.
Ryoga could not sense power levels or fly for that matter so he had a long way to go.

Ryoga expected that punch to be dodged easily so he was about to go in for a sweep kick to knock Ozikai off his feet.

"Ok 3...2....1...GO!"

Said Ryoga as he put the attack into motion.

Ozikai saw the man run up to him with his fist out.
Ozikai could have easily dodged this.
Instead he decided to play around with him.

He knew that this man did not know how to fly.
So he began to fly.
With his feet slowly lifting off the ground.
Now he was out of range from the attacker.

Ozikai looked down at the attacker.
Then his arm rose up.
He fired a series of Ki blast down at his opponent.

If Ryoga was lucky he would be able to dodge some.
If not then he would be hurting.

Ryoga stared up at Ozikai as he rose from the ground and started to fly.

"What the heck?! People can actually do that?" As Ozikai fired off his ki blasts down at Ryoga he smirked.

"I never knew you were that strong, i better start getting serious." Ryoga threw his fists through the air towards the ground. "Thunder Punch!" Yellow energy surrounded Ryoga's fists and sparked like lightning. "Now have them back!" Ryoga said as his fists allowed him to blow away the ki blasts after he punched them, most of the blasts were blown away by the punches but a few headed in ozikai's direction.

As the blasts ran out Ryoga let the Thunder punch fade but he kept a sharp eye out for any other attacks.

Ryoga was able to use a technique to deflect the Ki blast he had just fired.
Maybe this guy was stronger than he had first thought.
But this was still no problem.
He put a barrier up around him.
The Ki blast hit the barrier without doing any damage.

Ozikai flashed the man a smile.
Now he was going to show him a little trick.
Or otherwise known as a transformation.

Ozikai powered up.
His Ki started to change into a deep red.
His power level increased fourfold.

He finished transforming and looked back at man.
He smiled once more.
Then re raised his arm to him and fired several more Ki blast.

As Ozikai put up a barrier to deflect his own blasts he transformed into something else.
Even Ryoga could tell this wasn't good.

"I have no choice! Time for Storm Combo!"

Ryoga's Feet and Fists Lit up with Yellow energy and sparked like before. Ryoga jumped into the air using his thunder punches to blow him into it.

"Now Storm 20 hit combo!"

*Storm Combo: A combination of Thunder Punch & Lightning Kick. The user Charges their fists with thunder energy and their feet with lightning energy unleashes a 20 hit combo with all their might. The punches send them flying and the kicks intercept with combos. Costs 30% ki and does a massive 45% damage*

The man powered up.
He was using his own special attack.
He charged him down and attacked.
This attack was actually not half bad.

Maybe if this guy was lucky he could do some damage?
He better hope so.
Ozikai decided instead of dodging he would let him attack.
Every single attack hit its mark.
This was actually doing something.

After he was done attacking Ozikai looked back at him.
Then he smiled.
“That was good, but now your luck ends.”

Ozikai fired a Ki blast at him.
Then he flew behind him and aimed for his back.
Ozikai was going to try and hit him into his Ki blast.

Ryoga got blasted in the back and boy did it hurt like hell, luckily he fell into the oasis which kept him from getting anymore hurt other then his pride. Ryoga swam out of the oasis got a drink and waved at
Ozikai.

"Ok i give up, but thanks for the battle"

Ryoga sat back down and ate some of his apple pie and offered ozikai some.

"The orphanage lady made this before i left for me but you beat me, i say you at least deserve a piece. But yeah i'm gonna be strong someday and when i get a spear i'll be even stronger"

Ryoga ate the pie pretty fast as he was hungry and laid the piece for ozikai on a plate for him.

Ozikai took the pie.
He ate it happily with his new friend.
He had won the battle but he could tell he would.
Now it was time to rest again.
He said good bye to his friend.

He studied his Ki signature so he could find him again.
He flew home and fell straight asleep.
He was worn out from his day.
