{Continuation of The Supers Collide, found at: wodresurrection.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=metropisle&action=display&thread=2703&page=5 } Zach was laying prone on the ground, what little there was left, with Nam standing above him after having caught him following Suki's shot through his chest. The blonde wanted to say so much but before he could even get the breath, or the place of mind to stop moaning from the searing pain that continued to cut through his upper chest, Nam had lifted off. Zach's chance to speak to the other boy was gone just like that, without incident of ceremony the blonde was left laying on the cold stone outcropping, unable to speak what he thought would probably be his last words. Had he been able to they would have been along the lines of a cocky apology for being late and then a compliment to Nam's change in wardrobe, mainly the fact that he was shirtless like Zach himself. He would have gone on to suggest to Nam that he relay a message to Suki, calling him a monstrosity out of a Ridly Scott film. Nam though was now too far away for Zach's whisper quiet voice to reach and much to angry for him to have heard the blonde and so Zach closed his eyes and laid there, trying to keep his breathing regular and hang on as long as he could. He wouldn't be allowed to rest peacefully though as no sooner then did Nam get within striking distance of the Changeling monster then the very same monster teleported to the rock outcropping Zach was laying on. The blonde's eyes were opened in a flash as the alien monstrosity started to worm it's tail under his body, he even tried to struggle, but with the injury to his chest and his energy already exhausted, Zach was easily hoisted up by his neck and arms, both of which had been stretched out to either side, opening up the teen's entire torso to Suki's malignant intentions. Zach would have spit on the alien, even tried to, but before he could get a good wad ready the beast started to tighten his tail's grip on his body. Drool ran down the boy's chin as his ribcage was slowly constricted and then there was a sudden crunch and an explosion of pain the likes of which Zach had never before felt. He screamed, out right screamed in agony as his ribs started snapping like twigs, his right arm and shoulder having started the cascade of skeletal failures. The bone crunching constrictions continued for longer then Zach had breath to scream from them but finally stopped after how long Zach didn't know. This was an agony he simply couldn't cope with, sure he'd been beaten up before but never savaged like this. Then came something even worse. Whimpering from the destruction of his arm, shoulder and countless ribs, Zach was wholly unprepared for what happened next, a punch powered with more strength then the boy had ever encounter crashed into his chest, further devastating his chattered ribcage and forcing not a mouth full of spit, but a mouth full of blood to spray from the teen. Another blow, to his side exploded into him and Zach could have sworn, and probably was right in thinking that it obliterated one of his kidneys and produced a strangled cry of pain. A third punch landed with even more devastating effect into the boy's upper stomach, hooking to the right side and directly into his liver. There was no question this time, serious internal damage had been done and Zach's mouth gushed with more of his crimson blood. More punches followed, destroying the boy's guts both literally and figuratively, the pain both familiar but now so intense it seemed totally new to him. The most brutal blows targeted his ruptured liver, breaking any semblance of will the blonde teen might have had left, he would have gladly slipped away into the afterlife to escape the pain but to do so wasn't his choice. Finally though a savior did come, the blessed darkness of unconsciousness. Whether it was the blood loss, lack of oxygen, shock or some combination of them all, Zach didn’t know or care, his eyes rolled back and as the beating continued he simply hung limp in the Changeling's clutches. The blackness didn't last, although Zach had no way of knowing exactly how much time had passed as was the nature of having been knocked out. What he did know was that all of a sudden he was cold and could feel the horrific sting of every one of his broken bones as his body floated briefly in the ocean, curving and contorting painfully with the motion of the waves and then finally slipped beneath them. Zach was terrified, he didn't want to drown, he’d much rather go out like a man and be killed by his opponent then fade away gasping for air under the water. The cold, the darkness and the indescribable pain he was in brought the term trauma to a new definition and it was very likely that if Zach somehow miraculously survived this ordeal he'd never venture near water again.

As luck would have it Zach's body made a splashing entrance into the water only a few feet from Gurin's body, which was already mangled and broken below the sea floor. Like zach he had been brutalized by the icer, every inch of his body screamed out in pain from the death beam barrage that had ripped through him with no quarter. The blood from his wounds was still seeping into the water around them, and his eyes opened as the splash occurred, Namekians could survive considerably longer under water than Humans, and so as Zach began to sink down to the bottom of the wave rattled ocean Gurin moved his arms, which had been placed squarely on his chest in a manner of keeping his own heart beating. He felt a spike of intense pain run through his body, his arms seizing in cramped pain. Gurin watched Zach sink deeper into the water, until a new sense of energy came across him, It was Tenshu pulling through the pain. Seeing his student battered so heavily caused Gurin a pain of compassion unlike any he had ever felt.
Tenshu, you truly loved this boy
Gurin said, his eyes squinting, knowing it was no good, there was no possible way that the Namek was going to get enough energy to move, let alone do anything to save the teen who would die regardless of oxygen. His heart welled with a sadness he had never before felt, as images of zach's torture flashed in his mind, followed by a familiar voice.
"We meet again boy"
Gurin was no longer at the bottom of a water grave, He stood, uninjured in a dark room, with one other Namekian, one whom bore his very look, and his very aura. But one that was far more powerful then either he or Tenshu had been, even together. This was the culmination of their power, this was Geurin, the super Namek.
"You know if you would just let me help you, you could save yourself, your students, and end this crisis with Suki"
Immediately following the end of his self rightious temptation another voice came out, this was of Tenshu, he stood in his Kami regallia retorting.
"Gurin, we must'nt, all of what we have worked for will be ruined if you allow him to take control"
"Come Gurin, all of your pain, mental, emotional, physical. It can all be gone in a split second, and the power would be incredible!"
"Gurin Don't do it, he is a lier, a snake, a cheat. He is worse that Touketsuki!"
Gurin was tore, his mind being ripped apart by the two Namek's that clashed within his mind. On one hand, Tenshu had been wise enough to know exactly how to perform the fusion, he had faced Geurin before, and knew of his power, But on the other hand Gurin was a capable Namek, certainly if Tenshu could suppress the darkness that is Geurin, then Gurin could do it as well. He would only let a little bit of his energy out, just enough to save zach, and then he would pass on in peace. Zach would help finish Suki, Nam would defeat him, and all would be right with the world.
Gurin look out at zach, the arrogant boy whom had cursed Kami's name so many times, who had displayed great jealousy and even hatred towards the Namek, and yet all he could feel now was the need to save him, and that he would. Gurin's body seized as the new Ki entered his body. Black and Green Ki began to swirl around his body, and slowly his wounds began to heal. The fatality that had originally claimed the Namek was reversing, his muscles not only recovering, but growing stronger, his feelings sharper, it was then that he recognized the power that Geurin was giving him. It seemed like a split second, but before Zach had a chance to disappear into the darkness, his body was captured, and moved to pure solid land away from the water, several miles in fact.
Gurin stood over him, two fingers pointed straight down, as his mangled shoulder and torso began to contort back together. His scars healing instantaneously, and his organs repairing at an increasing rate. His power was considerably greater than it had been the first time Kami had healed him, this own would take no time for recovery, Zach would be fully functional health wise in a matter of no time. Although his Ki reserves would still be weakened, his body would be healed.
"Thank you Geurin, I can handle it from here"
He said powering down, the aura disappearing. It had worked, he had conquered over the super namek and come out unscathed.... Or so he had thought.
A sharp sting struck the nameks brain as the black and green Ki activated again, on his knee's Gurin began to scream, the power being exerted was far more than he had ever experienced, He felt his body tearing a part as the aura consumed him.

The cold darkness surrounding Zach's broken body persisted as the boy drifted deeper into the ocean, unbeknownst to him floating closer to Gurin's equally defeated form. Zach was fighting the urge to inhale knowing he'd only get a lung full of sea water but his body was demanding air and his diaphragm was painfully attempting to force the issue of it's own accord. Finally Zach's mouth popped open and the last vestiges of the stale air left in his lungs escaped. Then the choking began as his desperate body tried to inhale, only to take in salty water. His body convulsed a few more times and then Zach started to slip away again, losing sensation in his pained limbs. His senses grew ever more dull but for a brief instant, before the darkness went truly dark, he could have sworn something touched him, then there was nothing.
Zach came back with a start, erupting into a fit of coughing as he rolled over onto his side and spat out mouthfuls of sea water, emptying his lungs of the suffocating liquid before drawing in new, fresh air. It didn't matter that the immense pain that had wracked his body was miraculously gone, right now breathing was his primary concern, and after a few moments of hacking up the remaining water and some labored gasps for air, the blonde teen returned to laying on his back, his chest heaving up and down as he pulled in more air. Zach finally opened his eyes when the sound of Gurin yelling invaded his ears, prompting the boy and look around to see what exactly was going on. He was laying in the grass on what appeared to be another island, neither Nam nor Suki anywhere in sight. Gurin though was there, on his knees right beside him and Zach could feel the Namekian's raging aura wafting over his skin and he laid next to the green man. Zach of course had no idea what was wrong with him, or how he was feeling so good again, in fact other then feeling drained of his energy reserves and hungry, the boy felt great. It was obvious though that Gurin did not and much as it made Zach squirm on the inside, he came to the realization that this green man had saved him again and he did feel some measure of compassion for him.
"Ka... Gurin, what's wrong? What happened?" Zach asked, raising his voice enough to hopefully be heard over the Namekian's screams. Sitting up he tried to reinforce his presence by gripping the other man's shoulders and thereby hopefully calm him.

The Ki flared around Gurin, his skin burned as the screaming persisted. Such power was not easily obtained, and so as his body burned him alive, he was returned to that same room, where a light green Ki was battling a dark green. Geurin and Tenshu were fighting it out, Gurin could but sit and watch as the two ripped apart the inside of his mind, Although the two were not moving, their Ki's were splashing everywhere, combating each other and clearly showing the power that Gurin was capable. Unfortunately this time, Tenshu would not be so victorious.
"Tenshu!"
Geurin yelled at the top of his long, his dark red eyes piercing through Gurin's soul.
"Give it up, you cannot win, you are too old, your body to fragile!"
Another push of energy that physically caused Gurin to roll on his back, still writhing in pain at the battle taking place in his own psych. The clash was short lived, as Tenshu's Ki presence became ever less present. The goodness, and light that had consumed Gurin seemed to be fading, and all that was left was hate, regret, and evil. His heart hurt as Geurin, the dark green and black Ki rose from the recesses of his bastard son's mind, and through his body.
Gurin stopped, his body no longer in pain, his mind no longer clouded because....it was no longer his.
Geurin rose to his feet, the power filling the air around it with electricity, his muscles smooth and strong. His teeth were sharper as were his claws and ears. Geurin was the demon hidden within Tenshu. The darkness that each person holds. His evil knew no bounds, and now it was unleashed on the earth.
Looking down at Zach, who was no doubt still confused from the events that had transpired, the Namek licked his lips, his tongue now much longer as well.
"Zach, dear me that attack must have took a lot out of me, as you can tell I have trained hard to face...er...Suki. You must forgive my outburst, How are you feeling."
He said with a sly smile. Zach was easily the most ignorant of all the students Kami had. He knew little about Tenshu other than his basis as the Kami of earth, and believed the man to be dead, as opposed to standing next to him. But this was in fact Tenshu, in his purest form.

As Gurin went through what ever fit he was experiencing, Zach tried to hold into the Namekian's shoulders but lost his grip when the other collapsed. Since the boy didn't possess the capacity to sense other people's energy he had no idea that the aura that was currently sending tingling sensations over his bare skin was that of a being who was growing so immensely in power it was difficult to comprehend. All Zach knew was that Gurin appeared to be in some form of distress. Thankfully though it seemed to pass as quickly as it had come on and the Namekian climbed to his feet. Zach took a moment to get his legs properly under him and likewise, rose to a standing position as the green man explained that he must have overexerted himself, which didn't make too much sense to the lad. 'If someone overexerts them self, why would they have a fit of energy? Well I guess it could be like a muscle cramping up.' Zach reasoned. Kami's inquiry about how Zach felt went unanswered for a few moments as Zach stared back at the green man, taking note primarily of the elongated ears. 'New transformation? I didn't know they could do that.' he though further to himself and shook the thoughts aside.
"A lot better then I was. Thanks..." Zach responded and fell silent for another moment, obviously thinking about something that was making him feel uncomfortable. Twice now this man, in one form or another had saved his life and the first time Zach never really got to properly thank him. Well while Gurin wasn't Kami he had still saved him and if Kami was in there like the green man professed then he still deserved both of those rounds of thanks and this time Zach wasn't going to let the opportunity slip by.
"Look, I know you aren't exactly my Kami, I mean he's in there somewhere or something like that, so in a way this is like the second time you've saved my butt. I uh..." Zach paused, starting to look even more uncomfortable in his contemplation of what he was about to do. "I never really got to thank Kami before he died and I would feel pretty ratty if something happened before I could do so again... You really deserve this... Thanks." Zach concluded as he stepped closer to the green man, raised his arms and wrapped them around him in a heart felt if somewhat awkward hug.

Geurin was confused at first, surprised by the openly aggresive man's show of affection, but after the initial shock passed he began to pat him on the back, a smile striking his face. He was reminded of all that Zach had gone through, his memories through tenshu. It was clear that Zach was a very emotional individual, whether it was through rage, or through confused vulnerability. Geurin was not simply a heartless demon, but rather a master mind of sorts. His time on namek had been dedicated to overthrowing the Guru, which he was nearly capable of doing until Tenshu destroyed him. This had always burned inside of him, but not anymore. Geurin knew just what to do now, everything made perfect sense.
"As you know Zach, Kami and I, are very similar. We are almost one being you could say. So I can say with all sincere honesty that Kami had a gift for you"
He said, the smile appearing once more on his face. To Zach it would be a friendly gesture, but for Geurin it was one of devilish intent. Pulling away from the hug only enough to hold out his hand, pointing it to the sky, Geurin continued.
"He may have helped Nam achieve his abilities, and Antary to enhance his, but he knew you didnt need any of that help. Zach he had higher aspirations for you....Zach, he wanted you to be Kami in his passing."
Geurin's newly hatched plan was underway, by planting this seed, he would forever control the fate of the world, Rather than destroying Zach, he would make him his very own prodigy. Zach was just the sort of loose cannon that could be fully utilyzed by one of such evil intent. Trusting enough of Tenshu to believe his words, and hateful enough towards other species to back up his every thought.
"...But, you are not yet ready Zach, you see, at this time, Touketsuki is not the only person on the planet. The saiyans are here...Zach it is as you said, they are here to take over"
This shock would likely cause another emotional outburst on zach's part, and so he would have to play his next words wisely as to upset him in the right direction.
"...You see Nam rebelled against Kami, that is the reason that he died on the Lookout. He was supposed to fight Suki there with the aid of Toshio and Kami, but he abandoned him to come hunt for dragon balls. That is why Kami was defeated, that is why Suki has such incredible power. "
This far fetched tale was getting good, even Geurin couldnt believe how good of a twist it was. His own story was wrapping him in curiosity as to how it would end.
"But thats not all. You see, The king of the saiyans, Boliko, is on the planet as we speak! Touketsuki is of course an enemy and must be dealt with, but as you see it is not good vs evil, there are three teams here Zach, and it appears only you and I are left on the side of justice!"
That last statement should have done it, mentioning the king of the apes being on his planet would easily be enough to infuriate him into fighting, and knowing King Boliko, he would likely not Kill the fool, but rather waste his energy fighting him. Geurin was strong enough to take on both Boliko and Touketsuki, but watching the stronger players destroy each other was far more delicious than anything he could concoct. Just like that, Geurin had undone all of the good lessons Kami had attempted to teach Zach. He had instilled with the full passion the hatred of saiyans.
This was all of course under the assumption that Zach did in fact believe Geurin's words.

It turned out hugging the Namekian wasn't as bad as Zach though and after a moment the other man seemed to get over what ever trepidation he had as well, giving the boy a pat on the back that made him feel fully a thousand percent better about his strained relationship with the green man. While Zach had the Namekian in his embrace the other started to speak, saying words that were indeed so perfectly calculated that the blonde teens brain soaked them up like a sponge, telling Zach of this gift Kami had had in store for him. Gurin pulled back after a few moments, shifting Zach's grip from his back to his upper arms and gestured up as be continued to speak, pouring on a heavy helping of ego stroking that only further lubricated the workings of Zach's mind as far as the Namekian was concerned. When Gurin paused with the statement of Zach one day becoming Kami, the realization was for all intents and purposes, mind blowing. There was a healthy dose of confusion as well considering Zach had referred to the Namekian as Kami for so long he didn't know it was in fact a title and not his name. However with Gurin's statement that Zach was to become Kami the fact that the name was a title started to dawn on him.
Zach continued to stand and listen to Gurin, his face still showing some confusion as the green man wove his manipulations even deeper, casting just enough doubt upon Zach in just the right way to reinforce his promise of ascension. It made perfect sense, Kami was a calm, wise man who never to Zach's knowledge ever made a rash decision, while on the other hand Zach was nothing but a mass of strong emotions all over toned by anger and was something he himself wasn't afraid to admit. It was surprising that Kami would choose him, but made sense in that a mind could be sculpted, but if you don't have the physical body to back it up, it was a fruitless endeavor. While Zach was a brash, violent individual, he knew himself to have the most physical potential out of Kami's group and that must have been what the old man picked him for, even now after Nam's gift, Zach was once again rivaling the other boy in strength.
Gurin shifted subjects suddenly though, playing on an aspect of the boy that Kami understood all to well and Zach had struggled to control, his anger. Zach's rage had caused him to do terrible things as of late, he'd even taken a life. So it did strike the boy as odd for only a split second that Gurin would bring up the monkeys, however as the green man continued, explaining that their king was on Earth and planning a conquest of his own, Zach's ever present hatred overrode the boys sense and justified the tangent Gurin was taking him on as just the way Gurin operated and that it was more direct then Kami's methods. Yes, the Saiyan would have to be confronted, those devolved bipeds had to be taught that they're trickery wouldn't be tolerated. They would not be allowed to simply move in while Earth was busy dealing with another threat.
As Gurin continued, Zach's grip on the man's arms tightened, not so much as to hurt him, but it clearly indicated that Gurin was pushing all of the right buttons, Zach was getting angry. What he didn't understand though is why Nam would rebel against Kami, it didn't make sense to him, Nam had just as much to lose if Earth fell as anyone else did. "I remember him from the dinner at the tournament... That's where I first saw you too I think... But wait..." Zach started, getting overwhelmed by everything Gurin was telling him, his own confusion and the anger that was just further clouding his judgment. "I don't understand. Why would Nam betray Kami? And if he did, why is he fighting Suki?" Zach asked, trying to put his thoughts in order. "And what are we going to do, let them continue fighting and we go and deal with the monkey king?"

Like an episode of a common daytime drama, Geurin began to spin his yarn further and further. Zach was playing right into Geurin's plan, but Geurin needed to tone it down just a bit. Zach had finally become comfortable with Nam, and so he would have to tread lightly on the topic. So when he was asked why his friend would do such a thing, and why he was still fighting Suki, Geurin needed a clear answer.
"Nam is just like the other saiyans. He wanted the glory of defeating Suki, it was the strength that Kami played off of. Nam believes himself to be, dare I say it, A super saiyan."
Not bothering to explain the concept to Zach, and knowing well that Zach was contemplating the ability in his head, Geurin would continue.
"You are right that Nam has everything to lose. When the King sent him on the mission to conquer your planet, everything seemed to be going as planned. He had manipulated a friendship out of anybody of power, and was slowly taking over. Kami unfortunately was too trusting, im sure you know that."
The coup de grace. With the King of Vegeta on the planet, it made an excellent excuse for Nam to finally rebel like he had planned. Geurin knew all to well that Kami was a trusting, caring, and kind man, and so it would not be unbelievable that Kami would trust someone who didnt deserve it.
"As my other half, I feel for him, even I was falling for his charm, the way nam acts, you almost wouldnt think that he was a saiyan at all...But then again, I guess that is exactly what he was going for. We have been fooled...But we will have the last laugh"
He said, taking a step back and pointing off to Mt. Paozu where the fighting between Nam and Suki was starting.
"Nam is fighting Suki for the right to cultivate this planet. Neither one is a force of good, and both are clearly trying to harm our planet. Let us hope that they destroy each other."
Turning to his left he points out towards the ocean they had been fighting over.
"King Boliko has sensed the fighting and will no doubt arrive to help Nam defeat the Icer. The question now zach, is how will we make a point to them, to ensure that none of them leave this planet alive."
Throwing the ball into Zach's court, he would be curious to see what the over zealous teen would do. Run to intercept Boliko, or perhaps fly out to face Nam and Touketsuki. Really zach was just loose enough that he could do anything inbetween and it wouldnt surprise Geurin.

As Zach listed to Gurin continue he couldn’t believe what the green man said next. Indeed if Zach’s mind had been a congested train set, all of the trains would have not only come to a grinding halt, but he started to summersaults from track to track. ‘What?!… What?!!… WHAT?!!!’ the Boy’s expression was that of shock and confusion as his neurons tried to wrap themselves around the concept of Nam being one of those wretched apes. ‘No no no no no no no… He simply couldn’t be, can’t be, uh uh, not happening, nope this isn’t happening…’ the teen’s brain continued to run desperately away from the possibility. ‘But, This guy’s acting like I knew all along and… Oh god… Kami didn’t say there was one of those damn apes on the team… he said at least one…’
Zach’s expression dropped to utter disappointment as his brain shifted gears, how could he have been so wrong? How could he have been found himself so attracted to a damn monkey? How could he have let himself be so thoroughly fooled? It was unthinkable, utterly unthinkable, but all the evidence seemed to fit and so far Gurin had not lied to him, in fact he explanation of Kami’s actions justified why the other Namekian hadn’t told Zach everything.
Gurin was still speaking but Zach wasn’t picking up all of it as immediately following the disappointment of having been so wrong about Nam, his ever present anger reared it’s head again. No, it wasn’t his fault he was fooled, he’d never expected to be so taken advantage of, this was all Nam’s doing. He’d fooled Kami, Fooled Zach and used that influence to worm his way into their lives well enough to ensure his rise in power. Zach’s grip on the Namekian’s arms tightened a little more but he caught himself and let go, dropping his arms to his sides, fists clenched.
“He tricked me… I can’t believe this…” Zach mumbled as his gaze trailed away from Gurin’s. “I lo… I liked him so much and he’s a damned monkey agent? Do you have any idea how much I want to go up there and pound his face into that mountain myself?” Zach continued, his fists tightened to the point where his arms were shaking. The teen huffed and puffed for a few moments as he tried to keep himself from exploding into a wild frenzy and do just what he’d said. IT was an effort like no other to keep himself under control. Gurin was right, they were the last two on Earth powerful enough to do anything about Suki, Nam and the monkey king. Those Caius and Jorlaxl guys were nowhere to be seen as they couldn’t help unless Gurin could get in contact with them and even then their loyalties were suspect. It was up to the two of them, Gurning and Zach, to do something to keep Earth from the invaders.
“If Nam and Suki are fighting, let them…” Zach started. “We should engage the king and keep him from lending a hand to Nam. Who ever wins that battle will probably be weakened by it so after we finish with the king we’ll find the winner and deal with them as well.” The teen stated, doing a little strategizing of his own. “But how are we going to find him, I can’t sense anyone’s energy but my own and you’re… Wait, can you do what Kami did and find people anywhere?”

Gurin smiled as Zach agreed to let nam and Suki fight it out. By his prediction, the two were evenly matched, so only one would come out on top, and the other would be too weak to fight back. Meanwhile it appeared as though Zach was ready to face King Boliko, yet another great decision.
They dont give this kid enough credit, he is one hell of a strategist
Geurin said looking about for the King's powerlevel once more, finding it off in the distance, likely searching for the fight with Suki. Because of their instant transmission halfway around the world, it was likely that Boliko would be somewhere near the original fight scene.
"Give that direction a go, that would be your best bet. I believe he is there now looking for Nam. I suggest you hurry if you are going to catch him."
Gurin turned his attention in the opposite direction.
"I fear a city is in danger, so it looks like you will have to face Boliko on your own, no doubt one of Suki's delinquents, or a stray saiyan from the pack. Just remember that these saiyans are crafty, And nam is here secretly, so they will do anything to protect his identity"
With that Gurin began to power up, the aura latching onto his skin once more, and suddenly, without a moments notice, exploding into a pillar of green and black light. The namek let out a yell, releasing energy within him and charging the energy. Although Zach couldnt feel it, Boliko more than likely would. After all he was looking for suki, who was said to be the strongest fighter on the planet, so a power level that would shake the island they were on, was more than enough to catch anyones attention. Hopefully Boliko would be no different.
"Good Luck Zach, I believe in you!"
He said before rocketing off towards the nearby Satan City. He had business of his own to attend to, and Zach would make for an adequate distraction for him to get it done.

Following the direction Gurin pointed in , Zach looked out across the ocean and suppressed the urge to fly over the water. What had happened to him had been traumatic yes, but flying under his own power without anyone or anything around to change that fact meant he didn't have to fear taking another plunge into the deep. What did worry him though was the fact that apparently Gurin wouldn't be appompanying him. Zach had no doubt that he could take the king on his own, after all he was the king, king of barbarians yes and likely strong but still a monarch and as such there couldn't always be time to train, he had to run a planet after all. Still it would have been nice to have Gurin along as backup, Zach still didn't know the full extent of the Namekian's power or if it was even equal to that of Kami's, although judging by the show his aura put on when he powered up to depart, the blonde was pretty sure it was neighboring his own.
"Thank you again. Kick their butt's quickly so we can clean up the rest of this mess!" Zach shouted as Gurin took off leaving him alone on the island. Turning back in the direction Gurin had indicated to him, the blonde summoned up his power to fly and found much to his disapointment, that his reserves were still near depletion. The boy had enough power to stay aloft and fly at a modest pace but likely wouldn't be able to manage supersonic flight for a while and even after that it would take even longer to recharge to the point where he could manke use of his shield. It also didn't help that he was hungry, the restoration of his body to a healthy state after the near fatal thrashing he'd taken had left Zach depleted of chemical energy, yes he felt physically strong for now, but it was likely without anything to back him up, his stamina wouldn't last long. Luckily though his endurance, a wholy different espect didn't need to bebacked up, it had been restored and posibly enhanced some by the restoration of his body, Zach's tissues and bones being much more hardy then that of a normal man, could take a pounding others of similar strength couldn't. With any hpe that endurance would help get him through the battle if this monkey king proved to be more then a pushover.
{Topic concluded, requesting power level increase.}
