He awoke to the sound of seagulls and the sun beating down on his face. With a pained groan, Mr. Takahashi forced himself to sit up and look at where he was. The beach, he could tell that much. He tried to piece together what he had been doing up until he woke up here. He remembered a business meeting. He had been speaking to a charming young lady, discussing some important deal or other. For some reason, the details were fuzzy. It might have had something to do with the headache he was nursing. All he seemed to be able to piece together clearly was the fact that they were talking over drinks, and then he remembered a pair of fuzzy animal ears...
With a start, he checked his pockets. His wallet was still there; with a sigh he pulled it out and opened it, preparing to count the money he had left inside it. Suddenly, he recoiled in surprise, pulling out a wad of green leaves where his traveling money used to be. Mr. Takahashi stumbled to his feet, eyes roving the beach as though he expected his money to be somewhere over the next dune. He growled; for just a brief moment, power seemed to suffuse his body in a bluish aura, before he finally mastered himself and return to an almost regular human aura. "This was to be expected, I suppose. My only regret was taking almost all of my money."
With a resigned sigh, he brushed sand off his suit and began to look for anything resembling civilization. Wonder Island, he had begun to learn, was not a place for strangers to be wandering about alone.

Oh, how right he was about that final assumption-Wonder Island was anything but kind to it's new followers. That is, unless one pushes it back into a corner. And without realizing it, Meishi most likely did. He blasted through the sky like a successfully launched arrow-and how funny, that was the shape of his deep violet aura made as it punctured through the serene beauty(and wonder) of Wonder Island. Meishi had no feeling for being here, no rhyme or reason. He just blasted like a freaking rocket and hoped to end up somewhere interesting-and he thinks he found it. He did not have a scouter, nor the ability to sense energy. But he did see the sudden flash of shimmering blue energy-aura as it flickered in the distance, and that was all Meishi needed. He spared no time going full speed and head-first into the beach's sand dunes, nor did he care about the wave of sand that expelled from his crash site. The sand formed a crater, and Meishi thought it looked cool, not that it was very hard to do so in the softest earthen substance Meishi could comprehend.
He lurched forward slowly towards Takahashi, all Majin-like, with his arms dangling forward and his back arched. He was smiling widely, revealing his devilishly white teeth. Eventually he made it to about four yards from the fighter, his baggy pants flapping wildly in the blowing beach breeze. He was chuckling madly to himself, his body shaking as he giggled to himself. His eyes where demonically shaped as well-one was half-way from squinting and the other was open very wide. This made his red irises stand out and seem to glow. No matter how peaceful the place seemed to be, Meishi made it seem dead. He made it seem sad, lifeless, evil. He was a creation of pure negative energy, but no one could predict this kind of thing...
"Jajajajajajaja.....kekekeke...HA!"
Without giving a slightest hint of a warning, Meishi lobbed a quickly-formed orb of Ki at Takahashi's chest! Nothing special, simply an orb of energy. It was generally small because it was formed so fast, but that didn't mean it wasn't powerful. It looked like a baseball that was possessed by a purple demon-it was flaring and sparking and seemed to have a black center-piece, probably what was holding the energy together, the core of the attack. It did not look like something you wanted to be hit with.

Mr. Takahashi found himself taking a step back as a spray of sand and dust flew in his direction. He lowered his hand, which he had raised, almost as an afterthought, to keep his eyes clear, and then he saw... something. Some mass of pink with a screwy expression and a laugh that just screamed "Watch out!"`The young man could determine nothing else at a glance, and he had the sneaking suspicion that he did not want to. Mr. Takahashi raised his fists, his expression as placid and stony as ever. "Do you think that's funny? Kicking up dust like an angry baseball player?"
Suddenly, a blast of energy. Mr. Takahashi dropped down low and dashed forward, skirting under the ki blast as he tried to close the distance between himself and his opponent. He raised his hands up and cupped them together, bringing them to the Majin's gut. "Down, beast!" His power level spiked, suddenly up to his normal level, and he unleashed a blast of energy. His was almost invisible, little more than a distortion of the air directly in front of his hands. "D.E.W.!"
(("D.E.W.:" Demonic Exorcism Wave. A concussive blast of ki, fired at very close quarters, designed to knock the opponent backwards instead of burning/piercing like regular ki attacks.))

The Ki orb, although it's size was minuscule, created a gigantic BOOM upon impact with the soft sand, resulting in a purple and red explosion that also spread more sand as well as caused a steady stream of black smoke to rise from the blast. And whats more-this was a basic attack, Meishi wasn't even trying yet. Although his face quickly turned to a frown and then to a scowl-first at the orb missing, and then at the words that followed from his opponent. Meishi relaxed then, standing up straight and folding his arms in front of his body. His head tentacle dangled lazily down the side of his bald head, half of his teeth where showing from the scowl. He looked both furious and impatient-why couldn't the man have just died like a good little pedestrian? Whatever, Meishi could still take him. And then there was a flare of power that made Meishi raise an eyebrow-like muscle at how interesting this was. No one was ever foolish enough to try and beat on Meishi like this-at least no one but Buu. Oh yeah, Buu...now he remembered, but Meishi still didn't seem to care. Although this "fight" wasn't incredibly interesting, he still focused on it. The man folded his hands together and took off towards Meishi, swinging at his gut, it seemed.
"Down, beast!"
Meishi growled slightly, and then lifted his leg at the attack, using his knee to break the clenched fists of his opponent. Action left the man defenseless again a foot-jab to his chest, which was unavoidable at this range. Meishi then, still with his arms folded, laughed so menacingly and with such vibrant a pitch that it seemed to resonate with Takahashi's soul-it was a sickening feeling, but it was funny with the the way that Meishi's bad was bent so far back that his extended head tentacle was inches from the ground. But when he flipped back into place, he was met with a direct blow from a Ki-based attack the blurred Takahashi's hands! Catching the Majin off-guard, it blew him back a good fifteen yards away, causing him to mid-air flip onto his feet again. URG, what was that? I'll tell ya what-something he won't be doing again!
Infuriated, Meishi let out a hell-pitched scream of rage and power from a mouth extended so wide it was unnatural, giving him a deep purple aura. The aura sparked with small channels of pink energy, and flared up to a foot above the demon's head. His screaming was causing his veins to bulges and his muscles to become highly defined. It shook the island and caused the winds to change direction-But then it settles and started to retract around Meish-and finally come to a rest at his chest in a glowing sphere. Meishi curled his body around said sphere(with some obvious trouble) and tried to compress it as much as possible. The light that it generated rushed out of the cracks between his limbs, and then suddenly vanished...?
"Kukukukukuku....BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Meishi then continued by throwing his arms and legs outward like he had just broken out of binding, and that sparkingly fearful energy lashed out at a devastating "explosive wave" variant that Meishi had created himself! It was quite powerful, but he only made it big enough to try and engulf Takahashi.

Mr. Takahashi brought his hands up to deflect the first kick, but his defense was knocked aside by sheer strength. He knew better than to try a normal defense a second time; when the second kick came around, he found himself leaping backwards even as the Majin's foot connected with his chest. As Mr. Takahashi flipped backwards, turning the force of his opponent's kick into a controlled handstand and a soft fall into the sand, a part of him was tempted to sneer. At least the Wave connected. Maybe that would be enough of a chastisement to...
The inhuman scream that came from the wad of pink told Mr. Takahashi that his hopes were unfounded. "Tch. So much for pacification. I guess..." Suddenly, a feeling of dread began to fall over the entire island. Mr. Takahashi took a step back, then another, doing a bit of tactical reassessment. The Majin was starting to laugh hysterically; that was Mr. Takahashi's cue for a quick retreat. He turned around and ran up a nearby sand dune, taking cover on the far side.
A giant explosion of energy threw sand and debris in all directions. Mr. Takahashi could feel the dune blowing away underneath his feet, but thankfully his impromptu cover took the brunt of the damage for him. It still felt like getting punched over his entire body, but he knew for a fact that if he had stayed, he would have been obliterated.
He climbed back over the hill, undoing the buttons on his suit jacket. His expression was not angry, nor scared, but instead a sort of intense seriousness. "Are you done? Or are you going to throw a temper tantrum until you burn out all your energy? I swear, even beasts know how to control themselves." He tossed his jacket to the side, taking off his necktie and taking his stance once again. "I say again; stand down or I will put you down right here." He took a second to let his power level drop once again, down to that abysmal human rating, and stared the monster down. He knew that reason was probably beyond this creature, but seeing as how escape was looking unlikely (he never managed to pick up flight), all he had going for him was bluffs and his training. At least one of them was going to get him through this mess in once piece.

The dust whirled around Meishi like he was the center of a hurricane-class "M" for Majin. But when all was settled-if you could call it 'settling', because most of the terrain was a large crater that was slowly filling with the salty water of the sea to Meishi's left-Meishi crossed his arms and bent his right leg behind his left one. In this stance, he slowly floated down to the surface of the shallow pool with his other foot, cackling horribly. Then he floated over to the outermost part of the crater. Only about seven or so feet from Takahashi, who could feel his demonic aura empower him-after all, a nine thousand power level was one not to be taken lightly, even if it was generally weak compared to the legendary fighters of old.
"Are you done? Or are you going to throw a temper tantrum until you burn out all your energy? I swear, even beasts know how to control themselves."
Bwahahaha! Meishi howled the previous statement for a good ten seconds, at the final comments however. You see, the scariest things about the Majin(and in particular-Meishi) was that he WAS controlling his power. In fact, he was probably a natural-born Ki user, as was Buu. But the second fact was that Meishi would not lose his energy from a few attacks. He had no unlimited supply, but he sure as hell could sit here for an extended period of time and fire off energy based attacks before getting too tired to move. His ironically childish appearance was also humiliating to enemies-although this was not his most powerful aggressive trait. Blah. All of this Takahashi not-dying was making Meishi very impatient, even more so than he already was. Time to do some REAL damage! Blasting from his sand while laughing, Meishi reared up his fists and aimed to barrage Takahashi in a raging storm of chest-high punches, to try and do some minor damage and knock the wind out of him to avoid a counter.

He was ready for the onslaught, at least intellectually. In reality, the enemy came at him somewhat faster than he had ever imagined anything could possibly do so. Fortunately, his reactions were, at this stage, completely independent of his rational mind. He imagined he managed to lift his hands to catch about half of the punches thrown at his way (it was really closer to a third), his strength hovering at about half with mechanical efficiency while he tried to think of his next move. He needed to get out from under this onslaught and take the offensive. He could think of three... a brush of fist against his jaw broke his concentration for a moment... he could think of two moves to get him out of this mess.
"That's enough!" He dropped flat to the ground, on his back, and then pulled a handstand, using the force of his sudden maneuver to attempt to plant both his heels straight into the Majin's chin. Whether it hit or not, his momentum would put him up into the air, where he could flip over and back onto his feet, ready to take any counter attack that came his way. Just a little bit longer, and I'll have him, he thought. All opponents had a rhythm, a favorite set of tactics which they liked to fall back on. If he survived long enough, and if this battle dragged on long enough, maybe he could find it...

Quickly noticing that his enemy had a hard time keeping up with him, Meishi continued his assault, laughing as a few of his blows where only inches away from places such as his lower stomach and his chin. But he was not expecting him to...drop to the ground on his back? Wait a minute, what was he trying to pull he-oh. Takahashi's heels dug under Meishi's chin, smacking him up and back with great physical force. The Majin was prepared for such actions though and in mid-flight, he spun and blast himself open much like the way he had preformed his technique not so long ago-except that his body extended like a parachute to stop his movement. Then, he reformed into his normal body and floated in the air for a bit. He had a scowl spread across his face, his veins visibly pulsating on his forehead. But, another thing happened that was probably the most alien to Takahashi-Meishi was excreting steam through pours located on his body. It was not an enormous amount-but it was noticeable. Then, he prepared for a new attack....
"HHHRRRRMMMMPPPHHH! MEISHI DESTROY YOU!"
He leaned back, pulling his hands into tightly-clenched fists and his body seemed to turn a deep orange-red hue. The steam picked up at a much faster pace, and veins where now bulging from his arm and chest muscles. Soon, the palms hidden in his hands started to glow an ominous purple-pink light that radiated from the cracks in his fingers, actually forcing them to loosen up a bit. But this did not matter. For a few seconds later, Meishi leaned deep towards Takahashi and extended both of his arms-hands opened wide. This caused the built up power to assemble as a lavender energy wave that forced itself towards Takahashi's position, darkening the area around itself and giving things in it's general area a violet tint.

So much for that plan. Mr. Takahashi was not going to have enough time and passes at the enemy to figure anything out. The Majin was just getting angrier and angrier, and Mr. Takahashi was starting to feel the strain of trying to soften his enemy's blows. He needed an escape, and he needed it soon. A giant spike in energy on Meshi's part gave the human a sudden idea. One of the many downsides of these flashy Ki attacks was the glaring blind spots they left right in front of the user. If he could take advantage of that...
His power level spiked again, and at the moment Meshi launched his glowing attack, Mr. Takahashi aimed his palms at the ground. With a powerful Demonic Exorcism Wave, he launched a spray of soft sand, a sort of buffer between him and the attack. He then proceeded to burrow, downwards and forward, with all the speed and efficiency of someone many times more athletic than regular human beings. Underground, he forced his power level as low as it could possibly go, until he was so weak he could be mistaken for ambient life on a scanner. With any luck, the flashy explosion both of their attacks made created just enough obscurity to mask his escape.
He held his breath as he waited. Ideally, the enemy should see nothing more than a crater where he was standing, and with no significant power level to sense, think he was vaporized or otherwise managed to leave the battlefield. Otherwise, he was in the perfect spot for a surprise attack. Hopefully, the former happened. Even with the element of surprise, victory was looking far off.

The light that engulfed Meishi's palm settled down and the enraged blast of sand and energy stopped echoing around the island. Meishi's hands where smoking because of the blast-not burnt-but there where evident signs that he was using a lot more power than normal. He floated to the ground softly, and noticed that the crater was empty. That was odd. There should be a burnt corpse or a mound of horrifying flesh-but Meishi saw none. He grumbled some untranslatable mumbles and cracked his neck, when a though popped into his mind. HA! He vaporized the poor man! That MUST be the reason! He guessed he didn't know his own strength! Smiling the Majin took flight, staring down at the impact on the earth's surface as a result of his catastrophe. Ah, splendid! He winked at it, and then blasted his aura out from it's slumber. It made him look like a purple star from the ground, and with this power, he blasted off at jet-engine speeds...somewhere. He wanted to fight someone who was a real challenge-someone STRONGER than him! Or, perhaps he should just mess around with small fry a bit? Meh, who cared-as long as he fought he had no preference. He glided barely above the water's surface, arms spread eagle, heading to cause some new disaster.
~END OF MEISHI'S TIME HERE~

The coast was clear, it sounded like. Mr. Takahashi began to dig his way back to the surface. It took a few minutes (he decided not to exert himself more than he needed to in order to keep his power level in check), but finally he broke the surface and dragged himself out of the sand. He looked around; no pink monsters. It appeared his little gambit paid off. Even if it did result in sand and dirt under his fingernails and in his hair. As a martial artist, he would count this little foray as a loss, but reasonably, he viewed survival as a key victory. Especially since he learned a fair bit about his opponent.
Pink skin, steam shooting out of pores, and that demented power he seemed to have. Wasn't there someone in the history books who had that exact same description? This had to be related to martial arts, he knew that much. The opponent did not feel like an android, so it was not related to the old Army or to the Corporation.
With a sigh, he shook sand out of his sleeve as he reached for his suit jacket. "It cannot be helped. I will have to spend some time in the study when I return home. In the meantime, I suppose the first order of business would be to find a boat or a plane to take me home." He stepped off the beach and found a well-traveled road. Either way was bound to lead to civilization, or a clue to find said civilization. So, he turned right and followed the path, eager to get off this island as fast as humanly possible and pretending his wounds were not as bad as they were. [FIN]
