Requesting an Audience

Dao Midnight was healed up in the hut so he walked outside, feeling called by a holy force, he gathered his energy and lifted off into the air. He began to fly, not knowing where he was going but just following the holy force that was guiding him. He felt it before, now it's even stronger. Interested on who this source was, he remembered running into a namek in central city, he felt like he failed him, not defeating the ozzaru but getting blown away. Dao Midnight was untransformed, wearing a light weighted shirt which was gold, boots and wristbands with his black gi and gold sash. He continued to fly, now high up in the clouds, He wondered if the namek was guiding him...within minutes he saw what he thought was a base of operations. He landed on top of the lookout and saw a palace in the center. "Hrm....the holy power of this place drew me here...interesting..." He looked around and began to shadow box while on the lookout, knowing that this excustion of energy may be felt by who ever is on the lookout.

Kris sat still, his mind focused and his conscience clear. He was sitting near Kami, joining him in his daily meditation. He felt Kami and himself linked at the spiritual level as a faint white light glowed between them. Kris' cape and Kami's robes fluttered in the soft wind created by their combined energies.

Kris was not as focused as Kami, and his concentration was broken by an unknown energy source that landed on the lookout. Kris opened his eyes and glanced at Kami, who was still in deep thought. Kris slowly descended from where he had been floating in the air. His feet touched the ground and he took a moment to scan the newcomer's power level... It wasn't as high as Kris', but Kris could tell that the newcomer's energy was somehow... Different. It seemed similar to Ba'alzamon's: Dark and lifeless, yet plentiful. Kris took a moment to remove his headgear and shoulder plates that weighed him down, leaving him in his black baggy pants and white Gi, as well as his signature black sash handed down to him by his old master, Sohen. He was unsure if this new power level was hostile or not, and decided to take the necessary precautions.

After removing his weighted armor, Kris walked through the temple corridors until he reached the front door. As he stepped outside, he saw a strange, yet familiar man wearing some sort of martial arts clothing. Kris vaguely remembered the man from the Central City event, even though that was over a year ago by Kris' time. Kris saw himself as Kami's right-hand man, and thought it best to welcome this newcomer. "Welcome, friend. What brings you to this lookout?" Kris had matured quite a lot since he and Midnight had last met. Kris was now an 18 year old young man, and MUCH stronger than he was at Central City.

Midnight noticed the new commer and continued to shadow box the air around him, speaking to him as he was doing so...

I was a knight for the demon king 300 years ago. then one day they killed the soul of a namek i called brother, so i killed one of my own people. i got banished to earth because of the brotherhood love i had for the namek. I then found out while training that the namek got reincarnated into a little earth namekian..he runs into me and he tests me from time to time. Alot of tests lately...sorta like pre-training for the real test...now i'd like to say i'll train hard with you and your people. We will protect this planet...but that's not my only goal...we should train so each one of us would have a school that relates to us. But down to business. I want to be the protector of the innocent. I fought meshi, i also fought his sidekick majin , then a full moon came out and some giant ape was attacking. It was insane....in the end, i launched my strongest attack...a demonic nether style wave...whilest being fed power through my demonic aura henchforth the name. Then he just fired a quick mouthblast at it. Then somewhere another wave of energy that was blue...hit the center of our beam war, and pushed me out of the city. I took a big rest and now i'm back.If i could, i'd just make a time and soul room where you fight people of the past. That would be within my power as my contribution to the team, if you'll have a ex-royal makaioshin knight in your squad, i'm now a swordsmans/martial artist.

He said this while boxing the air around himself, not hitting kris.

"And by the way, how did you change your look, your clothes, your look 'higher' now in mind, body and spirit.I would be interested to learn your method.

He then stopped shadowboxing and stood towards kris, just waiting for a responce.

Kris sat and listened to the stranger's introduction. It was... Odd, to say the least. Kris simply nodded, but was more interested at the part of the story when Midnight talked about the continuation of the Central City battle. Kris looked down and contemplated these things about the "giant ape". Soon, Midnight's story was over. Kris raised his eyebrow at the idea of a "time and soul room", but nodded when Midnight finished by saying that he was a martial artist and swordsman.

Midnight then asked Kris how he matured since they last met. This confirmed Kris' suspition; they really did meet at Central City. "We have special training methods that only the most trusted of the Earth's Special Forces may know about. As for me, you may call me 'Nehan'." Kris introduced himself with the name given to him by Kami. "Though I saw you at Central City, I don't know your name." Kris' face remained calm as he said these things, welcoming Midnight to the Lookout.

"Dao Midnight"

Kami said as he took a small step out of his lookout. Kami to looked different from when he had last made acquaintance with Dao, His skin was smoother, his muscles more apparent, as if he were a younger man than he was before. Healthier and full of life.

Kami took a few more steps until he was next to Nehan, and he spoke, so softly that truly on Nehan could here him, so softly that although his mouth was moving it was as if he had said nothing at all, But Nehan could hear him loud and clear. The instructions had been explained to him in full detail.

Turning away from Nehan, Kami looked back at the Makaioshin whom had take up residence on the front of his lookout. He was clearly energetic by the motions he was making, But Kami would not match that enthusiasm.

"Dao Midnight, yes it has been some time since hearing that name."

Kami, moving his staff forward, took 3 steps to the left, just enough to lead him away from dao, so that should dao wish to continue the conversation he would indeed have to follow him.

"You are not long for this Earth Dao, you have quite a history before now, so tell me why this, why my lookout"

Kris listened as Kami whispered in his ear. Kami had given him private instructions to go do something. After Kami had finished speaking, Kris nodded in obedience. Kami proceeded to talk to Midnight, so Kris decided to take his leave. He rose off the floor of the platform and glowed a bright white, using Bukujutsu to fly towards Central City at max speed to fulfill Kami's instruction. It would take about 15 minutes to make it back to the ruins of Central City. At the time, some civilians were working on rebuilding the city. Because of their advanced technology, some buildings were making good progress. Kris flew down towards the center of the city, where he found what he was looking for: a large, gate-like obelisk with a red energy swirling within it. Kris knew this was what he came here for, and stepped inside, transporting him to the large space-station....

Dao Midnight replied to nehan, "I'm Dao Midnight. Dao's a title, Midnight's my name." nehan then disapeared, flying off the lookout.

Midnight then walked along, followed the kami of the lookout, which was this buff namekian. "I know your an important man on this planet, i'd like to help you. i'd want to save the world and protect the planet and it's inhabitants, just as i served protecting the demon king. Doing the right thing, not for the perks or rewards but just because it has to be done. You are in no danger but lets discuss something. By the looks of it, you've aged one year as did your loyal disciple...i ask of you alow me to have something to protect other then my own life...."

He kept walking with a sad tone in his voice

Kami raised one eyebrow to dao as he spoke about how the Kami had aged, He even had to look down at himself for a moment to see what he looked like, and then was confused once more. The last time he had met with Dao, his skin was wrinkled, and his muscles weak, however with the recent training, his youthful apparatus was beginning to show once more, the wrinkles were gone, and his strength could be seen rather than just felt. So Dao stating that he looked older was confusing to him. Nehan however being a boy, grew quite a lot in his time with Kami, so it was understandable that Dao would notice that.

"Training brings out a more youthful side of me, as it does with those whom train with me. But Dao what I fail to understand is your transition from the Demon King to myself, as we are very different individuals, with very different Ideals. You have shown that you are capable of aiding us when we need it, but I am apprehensive of your past"

If Dao had been protecting the King of Demons, there was no doubt that his intentions had to be intertwined with the king, his actions had to match what the King would want Portrayed, and then came the question of why Dao was no longer serving the king, did they have a falling out, or perhaps Dao failed to protect him from harms way.

There was much to learn about Dao before he could become one of the earths defenders.

"Well it was when i killed a nether demon that murdered a namekian who pleaded with me right infront of me. The demon king was like:

'Whatever, majined souls come down here to be warped into nether demons after they die in the majined soul lsaughter camps.'

"I knew that was a lie my fair namek so i got mad. Mad that my only friend, the namekian was taken from me and so i rushed the demon king, who then kicked me out of the underworld of makaioshin to this cozy living plane. Since being here, i've witness the beauty of growth. I want everyone to grow...and man, it's not older you look but younger...you've grown in power yourself...i'd like to know how you were able to do it, i also want to give you something." He then took out a bottle of arctic cold water for the kami. "Here, drink this, its pretty good..."

A wind picked up, his hair blowing in the breeze as he was talking to the kami, his last jesture should show that he's friendly but would he trust him....

The Kami listened to Dao, taking in each riveting detail of his journeys in hell, Dao had many perplexing views on mercy and death, some that were profound, and others that were muddled and confused.
So much so that Kami wasn't sure what to make of the Demon, it seemed as though he meant well, however he was missing a certain element that the GSF was looking for, he had not yet found himself as a warrior, and had no intention of looking to develop himself beyond combat.

"Dao"

The kami spoke softly and carefully, Dao was a powerful ally to have, however a decision had to be made.

"You lack self inspiration. Your personality is conflicted, and you are strangely un-phased by the Irony of your past. You must do yourself the courtesy of soul searching before you come and train here on the lookout."

Kami hated to turn down potential pupils, however Dao needed to learn more about himself before he would be ready to train with the Kami, he would have to look deep inside of himself, and develop where only he could.

Dao Midnight looked at kami. "I lack self motivation eh...." He then looked at him sadly. "Well, if you think i'm useless, i better just leave you and your little group...just one thing i have to say."

He then whispered into his ear. "I would have died for you." He then pulled back and took out a capsule. He pressed the button down then threw it up. it poofed out a scouter. He then took the scouter and put it over his left eye. "Hrm...lets see how strong you are..." He pressed a button on his scouter and got a reading... "twelve thousand...now myself..." Dao pressed a button and read his own powerlevel.. "a high level of fourteen thousand...2 thousand powerlevel difference." He frowned, "I will return one day, when i am worthy of you...until then, watch your team...protect them and cherish them...because i think nohan has bad news that might make you change your decision...maybe by then it won't be too late. By then i might be you...the yami of makaioshin, what i wanted you to mold me into...but nothing works, we could have controlled darkness and kept it from attacking earth...its sad how people don't see worth, isn't it?"

And with that he gathered a white aura and flew off of the lookout, to his spaceship to ready it for liftoff. His quest: To become a warrior, he knew that warriors existed on other planets, since earth was just one planet.

Kami let out a deep sigh as the warrior left his lookout, He knew that Dao had not understood what he was talking about. If powerlevel had been Kami's concern, he would have said so. No it was Dao's mental state, his understanding of himself, and of the world around him. Once Dao realized that it was not about the power, but rather about the being within, he would be ready to train with Kami and the GSF.


Oh dao, By no means did I ever think of us as superior to you, quite the contrary, your powers surpass even my own when fully unleashed, I do hope you find yourself, because one day I would genuinly like to train you.

He thought this to himself, as Dao had already left the lookout. Although Dao was an excellent warrior. A Makaioshin who did not understand his Identity, was to dangerous to train. Dao would need to find that for himself, Before Kami could assist
