A new Kami has risen (Open)

Tenshu looked out at the planet he was now defending, his friend and mentor had passed on, and now he was left alone to protect this planet from all that would try and destroy it.

This of course was a futile effort on the Kami, as he was not of the fighting strength to stop any invasions, was not of the physical force to end wars, and was not of the strength to stop intruders.

No he would need something else, he would need a squad.

Generations ago, there was a squad that defended the planet from these catastrophes, and now it was time to Re-Awaken that force.

Kami sent a mass communication out to all of the Power Levels above 1000 in the world, it was incoherent, and didn't actually say anything, but rather was a pull, a feeling of great necessity, that would unknowingly bring them to the Tower, they would meet the Kami, and he would make sure that the planet was safe.

Kami stepped up onto the floating tower, he had just returned from the conflict at central.
Although the battle was not yet over, it was clear to him that his presence there was not necessary and would only cause danger to the earth itself. If Kami was killed, the earth would have no guardian, and that was not something that should be risked if the situation can avoid it, and with the help of both Nam, Dao, and Satin he knew that the city would be taken care of.

Now Kami was left with the conflict he had before leaving, there was no squad here on earth that could defend against such attacks, and there needed to be. Suki noticed no one had accepted his call and arrived at the lookout. This was probably for the better, as anyone who could have come, was probably at Central.

Kami entered the large building atop his lookout, he would wait once more for a warrior who wanted his training.

Ba'alzamon looked around. He didn't like the thought of this very much. Being the protector of a planet... It seemed like too much work. Of course, he liked living as much as the next individual, it's just that the thought of being a "Good guy" Didn't seem too appealing.


Regardless, Ba'alzamon went to the large building, and knocked on the door. He wasn't sure what to expect.

Kris followed a distance behind Kami. He wasn't sure if Kami knew he was following him, as he didn't acknowledge Kris' presence. After several minutes of flying, Kris had almost caught up to Kami, when he noticed something in the distance... A sort of tower? It was a very tall, slender structure, stretching far above the horizon. Floating over top of the tower was a semi-spherical island-like structure. After a few minutes, he could make out some sort of building on the platform.

Kris watched as Kami flew up on top of the platform. Kris did the same, flying over the edge and slowly landing on the tiled concrete making up the floor of the lookout. He looked around at the foliage surrounding him. It was quite a peaceful place, and it felt refreshing to be there instead of the ruined city he had just left. Thoughts of Meishi and the other fighters fluttered through his head as he approached the structure. He noticed another being standing near the door to the temple-like structure marking the center of the platform. He didn't like the look of this new person. He looked... Dark. Evil. Regardless, he approached the new person and called out to him.

"You, who are you?"

As the demon knocked on the door he could hear the Echo on the other side, for such a small building it seemed as though the echo was large enough to support a massive space. The door opened to a large hallway, one that was not proportionate to the actual building itself, and down this large hallway was a small flight of steps, leading up to a large chair. The room was padded with velvet and the walls made of the finest marble stone. Yes this was truly a hall to be proud of, and it belonged to the man within the chair.

The Kami sat in his chair motionless as the door closed behind the demon, his ere silence caused the space in the room to seem endless, and the man whom had entered the room would feel this. Although the Kami's power-level was not something to gawk at, there was something more to him, something strange, something wise and grand. He was deserving of the name Kami, and this was obvious to see.

Ba'alzamon turned, and saw a figure approaching... No, not approaching. He was doing something else.

Flying?!

Yes, he was flying. He flew up to this tower and approached Ba'alzamon, and called out. Upon hearing this, he smiled, and said "Me? I am no one of great significance. A better question would be this: who are you?"

He straightened his robes, and kept one hand behind his back, on the hilt of his sword. He didn't think this being would be a problem, but appearances can be deceiving.

Kris calmly walked towards the mysterious being. He kept his guard down, but his senses were on full alert. He could tell that the creature was a bit suspicious of him, but he wanted to avoid a confrontation.

"My name is Kris. I followed Kami here. Did he call you as well?" Kris asked as he continued to walk closer to Ba'alzamon.

Ba'alzamon relaxed after he saw the stranger's guard was down. He clearly didn't want to fight, and what a wise choice it was. Ba'alzamon didn't exactly revel in needless killing.

"My name is Ba'alzamon. No, this "Kami" of whom you speak did not call me here. I was just curious enough to climb this tower. Is Kami an evil being of great power? I could use your help in destroying him, if that's the case.

Ba'alzamon released his grip on the blade.

Kris stopped and stood about six feet in front of Ba'alzamon and looked up at him. The strange being measured quite a bit taller than Kris' 16 year old half-saiyan body.

"Ba'alzamon? I see. To answer your question, no. Kami's the guardian of earth, and he's definitely not evil. I don't think his power's that high, but he's very wise. He wants to gather warriors to help protect the earth."

Kris relaxed a bit. Ba'alzamon also seemed uninterested in fighting. Kris also wanted to stay on his good side. Perhaps he would be interested in helping Kris and Kami?

Ba'alzamon pondered for a minute.

"Kami... What a strange name for a human. Regardless, I would be more than happy to assist you two in the... protection of Earth."

He looked down at the youngster, and grinned.

He is little more than a child... But his power level is so much higher than most adults...

"The protector of Earth, you say? How could one with a weak fighting ability be the guardian of a whole planet?"

"Oh, he's not a human. He's some kind of green alien with pointy ears. Sorry, I don't know much about any other race besides Humans and Saiyans."

He then walked past Ba'alzamon towards the front door of the building. He looked back and replied to Ba'alzamon's second comment: "His physical strength isn't impressive, but he seems to possess something else... A strong sense of leadership, I guess. Either way, that's exactly why he wants fighters to help him. I'm glad you're interested.", Kris said with a slight grin. He then turned to observe the front door. He wondered what was inside, and was going to knock on it as soon as he heard what Ba'alzamon would say next.

Ba'alzamon followed Kris, and stood beside him at the door. Dusting off his robes (again,) he replied Well, lets see what this Kami can do, shall we?" He grinned, and waited for Kris to knock.

Kris knocked on the door to the building. The echo he heard confused him... Why was there an echo inside such a small building? After waiting for a few seconds, he looked back at Ba'alzamon briefly before slowly opening the door, stepping inside. He looked around at the elegant chamber that awaited within. Across the room, he saw a small staircase which led up to none other than the guardian himself, sitting upon a large, throne-like chair.

"Kami?" Kris began, somewhat nervously, "I have come here hoping to aid you. This man also wishes to meet you." Kris gestured towards Ba'alzamon as he stepped inside, letting Ba'alzamon enter behind him.

Ba'alzamon marveled at all of the fancy tapestries and decorations that adorned the wall. He looked around and examined all of the busts of fighters he didn't know, and stared at the paintings of landscapes that lay before him.

At last he walked over and joined Kris. Seeing the imposing figure in front of him, he bowed, hesitantly. He could feel the power emanating from this creature in waves.

"Greetings... Kami."

Kami sat in the throne chair at the end of the steps, the power that was irradiating from his room did not cease as he spoke

"Why"

He said nothing more, it was a very open ended question, and his voice seemed deeper, and heavier than it had been just hours before while fighting Meishi. It was almost like a different person was sitting before him, the power was definitely out of place.

Silence followed the word he spoke, he would not explain, but expected an answer.
