A new Kami has risen (Open)

"Why"? Kris wasn't quite sure how to answer that question. He never really asked himself that question about anything that's happened today. He simply helped those in need. Kris always had a strong sense of justice, and couldn't ignore those in need. That's probably why he didn't run away from Meishi the moment he sensed his power...

"Because... I can get stronger. I wish to train with you so that I may one day be a great warrior, one that will defend this planet from monsters like Majin Meishi." Kris couldn't look Kami in the eyes as he said this... The very magnitude of his presence was frightening. Kris clenched his fists with determination... He then looked at Kami, "I will become strong." he said, determination in his voice.

Baffled, Ba'alzamon spoke the first thing that came to his mind-a bad idea, but he had nothing else to say.

"It was just a job! I didn't want to kill him... I just needed the money!

Amazed at what just came out of his mouth, he looked down, clearly flustered.

[Geurin]

Kami rose to his feet, and walked down the steps to the two warriors at the bottom, with each step he became more clearly into view, and by the time he made the final step he was in full view of both the men standing before them, he turned to the human first, the one he had met while fighting Meishi, the one whom had arrived without hesitation to a scene that far exceeded his experience.

"You have proven your dedication in a way most humans would not, you are seeking something that most humans cannot, you are speaking to someone most humans have not"

He then turned to the demon, his energy far exceeding both the Kami and Kris. His look showed him as a deeply confused individual, one whom had done evil, but yet...was not evil.

"You are lost, you have wandered into a sanctuary for reasons you do not yet understand, looking for something that you are not aware does exist."

Having spoken to both of them the kami quickly passes them walking outside into the light of day, the power rushing from the room like a vacuuming wind, not so strong that the warriors were swept from their feet, but strong enough to be felt, strong enough to show that the power followed the Kami.

"You can learn a lot from a person from the answer to the question why."

He said this holding up one hand having a small blue bird immediately fly to him, landing on the palm of his green boney hand. The bird began to chirp happily as kami spoke again.

"Like this bird, you have accepted an extended hand, knowing not what will come of it, but believing it will be better than the life you have present, for ignorance is better than fear"

Extending his other arm, a monarch butterfly did appear and land on it, flapping its wings slowly before settling on his hand.

"Like a butterfly you have landed, helpless to the world around you, exploring, and learning, only to find that the world that you are learning from will one day consume you"

Kami raised both hands to the bright blue sky, and the two creatures flew from his hands and into the sky, disappearing in the clouds.

"And I.....I am the guardian who watching you, who watches all. So why come to me and not some other being, what makes you think i will be of help, or that i will willingly help."

Kami said this facing away from the men still gawking in the hallway, still staring at the sky as though it was the being he was speaking to.

Kris contemplated Kami's words as he followed him outside. Kris could feel Kami's energy move with him to the fresh outdoors.

Kris took a deep breath... "I can't explain it, but I feel drawn to you - to this place. I know you can help me get strong..." Kris' hatred for his Saiyan heritage brewed inside him. He wanted to protect the earth and it's people more than anything... But a burning desire to avenge his parents still loomed in his heart. He couldn't help but feel that Kami could sense this hatred as Kris continued, "I hope you choose to accept me as your pupil."

[Geurin]

Kami's voice was still stern and heavy, as if he were speaking to a criminal, or a wrong doer. He still would not face kris as he spoke.

"The hatred you harbor, is not uncommon"

Kami continued to walk forward into the center of the floating platform, more birds seemed to flutter around him, comfortable with his presence, something that was not common for small birds of their species.

"It is something that you have committed yourself to, that you have based your life and actions on"

Kami finally turned to face Kris, but his expression was not what you would have expected, rather than stern or angry, it looked compassionate, empathetic to the plea that Kris was making.

"It seems that you will need to find a new passion to drive your enthusiasm, something to substitute the crippling hate."

Kami stepped forward putting a hand on the should of the young half-saiyan, and speaking to him in what now sounded like the kind voice he had used with Kyomi back in central, a voice that was the dialect of a friend, or companion rather than a miscreant.

"And you will need my help with this, that much i will oblige"

Kris' heart sunk a bit as Kami mentioned his vengefulness. He wasn't surprised by it, but it definately caused a bit of fear. Kris looked down and couldn't help but feel a tad bit shameful about his thoughts. As Kami looked at Kris, however, his attitude changed. He felt graced by Kami's words - the words of a true guardian. As Kami put his hand on Kris' shoulder, Kris looked back into Kami's eyes, hope and courage now filling the space in his heart that was recently filled with shame and fear. Kris grinned and replied "Thank you, master. I won't let you down."

In the intensity of the moment, Kris almost forgot to correct Kami... "Oh, and by the way: My mother was a human, but my father was a Saiyan warrior." Kris smirked at Kami happliy. Saying that to Kami made him seem less like an ominious alien guardian, and more like a friend.

Kami laughed at the boys sudden mood swing and replied in the same matter

"Yes well i suppose i knew that, you would be surprised what this old pile of bones has learned over the years"


And with that it was done, for Kris anyway. He was now a pupil in the Guardian special task force, he was the first official member, and they would begin training immediately.

(A new thread will be made for me and Kris to train in, Hemo- you continue here until we decide if you will also join the force, if so you will also get your own thread, but until then post here.

Ba'alzamon silently regarded the half-saiyan warrior beside him, one he will later perhaps call his ally.

I knew there was more to this kid than meets the eye. A saiyan..? I need to learn more about this race...

When Kris accepted the Kami's help, Ba'alzamon started pondering his own answer. The being's command of nature seemed impressive, indeed. Perhaps even supernatural. It's not something that can taught easily, at any rate.

Kami seems to have a sense of humor, which is a good sign. Perhaps he isn't so bad afterall.

"Kami... I am ready to serve you and protect the Earth.

[Geurin]

Having sent kris off on his first task Kami returned to the demon before him and let out a deep sigh, his demeanor seemed to have dropped slightly from speaking with kris and of course this was not a good sign.

Stepping forward so that he was a mere 5 feet from the demon he raised his other arm to lean on his staff, he seemed to be feeble now, which was contrary to the powerhouse that they had seen in the building, it was as if the Kami was somehow both very powerful, and yet also very weak.

"I need to know that you can be trusted, Although i have a trusting nature, and will believe you if you tell me so, i need you to consider the consequences of entering this training, once you start you cannot leave, and your commitment will forever place you on the side of good and just, is this something that you can commit to"

Ba' was different from Kris, he had a darker power, and a darker past, this did not however exclude him from the opportunity to be in the special forces. But this would be a life altering event, something that if he chose to do, would forever change him.

Ba'alzamon thought long and hard.

Do I truly want to do this? To fight... for the greater good?

Ba'alzamon started pacing through the room. His mind was clear and lucid, yet this was a hard decision, indeed.

To protect the Earth would be my honor, Kami. I am positive in my decision, and will stick with it.

He walked over towards Kami, and bowed.

[Geurin]

Kami seemed to stand in silence for a moment, contemplating this decision, it is one that could prove effective, or possibly devastating. Thinking over the pro's and con's and weighing the consequences of this action heavily. The silence became broken by the birds whom had returned to the scene, landing on Kami.

The birds then did something that neither warrior was expecting, the made their way over to the nether demon, and landed on his shoulders. The birds chirped happily as the other flying animals began to flutter around him.

The butterfly's began to flurry about him, as did the robins. Yes it appeared that Kami's questions had been answered by the creature he trusted most. Mother Nature.

Turning back to Ba' he put a hand on his shoulder and said with confidence.

"You will be a fine addition to the squad"

Ba'alzamon was surprised at first of the animals' sudden... liking to him. Nonetheless, he accepted the furry exodus without qualm. He realized what this meant, and smiled from ear to ear.

"Thank you, nature. And Kami. Will we begin training now?

He kind of liked the animals' companionship. He felt comforted... And home.

[Geurin]

Kami gave Ba' his task, and then went to meditation has he had planned, jumping from one pillar to the next until reaching the top, crossing his legs and sitting, or rather levitating, on the tallest tower in his lookout.

While his new students trained, he would Clear his mind, and begin planning his next moves.

These young warriors are talented, even more so than I in some respect. It will be a challenge to bring out their potential, but it is a challenge that is well worth the struggle.

Kami let out a light smile that temporarily threw off his balance, causing him to wobble back and forth until finally gaining his bearings, he then began to meditate again.

Stupid kids bring out the best in me

He said, still smiling, but this time on the inside, allowing his thoughts to fade, and his body to neutralize with his surroundings.



End scene

(The next time someone comes to talk to Kami he will be back in his chambers as he had been at the beginning.)

Komon slowly rose over the edge of the Lookout, looking for the one with the title of "Kami". (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rbmxike9FFk) The sight he saw was a tad bit unexpected. The lookout was semi-spherical, and had a tiled concrete floor on top that was cool to the touch. He walked forward in between the tall trees that were lined up beside him. He eventually walked up to the small building that stood at one end of the lookout. Not knowing any manners, he simply opened the door. Inside was a elegent-looking chamber with a large, throne-like chair at one end. Sitting in the chair was a man that appeared to be human, but had green skin among other oddities.

"Kami?"

Kami watched as his door opened, it was a little unorthodox for someone to barge in on the miser, so it was clear that this person did not fully understand the intensity of the Kami's position.
Kami-Tenshu however was a humble man who did not get wrapped up with the power of his position, and as the creature began to walk up the steps, his look did deceive his power level, this young man, whom looked frail, had a power above that of even the Kami.

Kami stood to meet his visitor, he wasn't sure but something seemed off about this person, being the Kami of earth he could sense life in even the faintest of instances, however this person had no spirit, had no life, it was as-though it was not alive...but rather.

This was an android, why would he come to the Kami?

Kami spoke as he met the Android face to face, as their eyes met Kami let his stern response flow.

"What is your business here?"
