Yunsabit Heights, a very windy area this time of year. a young man with a hood covering his face, a cloak waving behind him, a white furry monkey tail around his waist. He was alone for the time being, and he was still searching for the infected. his sword still where it should be. 'where are they?' he thought.
he stopped for at the top on the one of the many high plataus of the hights. polishing his sword, a habit he never broke because he's had to defend himself now more than ever. he wiped the last spotch of blood off the blade and sheathed it. he faded back to the memory the annoucment of Prime Minister, Mesa must have been in trouble. then his thoughts shifted to Amaranth, the alian who faced off with the bioandroid back at Central. 'I bet your wondering what she's up to right now huh, Draxor?' Draxor knew the voice and laughed. "first time you've spoken to me since i beat you back at Central City. or am i wrong Roxar?" a dark energy flowed from his body forming Roxar.
"You miss her don't you?" he asked, smiling at the fact. Draxor blushed a little, he knew what Roxar meant. "Buzz off, she made it clear that she's not a friend." he Retorted. "you don't believe that do you?" he asked dissappearing. No Draxor didn't believe that, he gave her one of his sisters bracelets and a jewel necklace he made. Sighing, he looked around the heights he was still alone.

Things have been quieter ever since the battle between Zach, Boliko and Amaranth. It turned out that Touketsuki had moved on, with drawing his planets to forcibly conquer every planet he came across. A new minister had taken over in Mesa's place. Amaranth wasn't sure what the girl she had fought to protect so long ago was up to now and truthfully, it hardly crossed her mind. Instead, she had spent the days after Guerin's announcement in worry. She found it stupid, truthfully. His ban on aliens when he himself was one. All she did know was that she would be making an appointment to see him soon. As Princess, it was her job to make sure that her planets were safe from any threat he might possess. She also had to make sure she would be safe, should she ever want to come back to Earth. And amazingly, she found that she wanted to.
But that announcement had been a while ago and instead of worrying about it or the weird things she was seeing, Amaranth decided to take a walk and clear her mind. So here she was, taking a walk in the calming forest surrounding the New Crane School, her temporary home for the time being. She was dressed casually, as usual. She wore simple jeans that fit her snugly, black boots with silver buckles covering them almost to her knees. A loose, black and white stripped t-shirt covered her top, her hair pulled back into a ponytail. The wind blew softly against her, causing the ends to dance softly behind her, her tail waving back and forth lazily.
The princess's thoughts were clear for the most part, her mind on the forest around her. She didn't travel on the path, making her own instead as she wound through the trees and brush. She jumped over the small stream that ran through the woods, joining up with the river that ended in the waterfall and lake she had slept under not too long ago. Though, it seemed like ages. It was as she was leaving it that she caught a slightly familiar scent on the wind. It seemed to be that half-Saiyan boy's but... something was different. Curious, Amaranth followed the scent carefully. She hadn't thought to bring any weapons with her. Her daggers and guns were all packed away back at the school, ready to be loaded on her shuttle in less than a weeks time.
Soon after, she heard talking. Seconds later, she stepped through the forest, finding a disappearing figure and Draxor. Amaranth stepped out into the light, glad to see it was him. While they hadn't exactly left on the greatest of terms, she was confident that he'd be no threat if he tried anything.
"Long time no see," she said, announcing her presence.

The voice Startled him, he jumped and saw that it was Amaranth. He let out a long sigh. "ya, long time no see. glad to see you're still here. after the Nemekian's Annoucment, i thought you left the planet. Mesa... on the other hand, i'm not sure whats happened to her." he sat back down. he looked back at her, his hood covered his changed face. "thing have gone better, but worse at the same time. people actually want me dead, and i've had to use my sword to do what i wanted to avoid." Draxor couldn't help his constant talking, something about Amaranth that was easy to talk to. 'remember, she's a friend.' Roxar's voice echoed through his thoughts.
"so, may i ask what your doing so far from Satan? If i remember right thats where you lived here on earth." he asked, he took out his gun and began to take it apart to clean it. he was trying to avoid telling her about him being infected for she might try to kill him as well. he went to reach in his pocket for a rag to clean his gun but pulled out a locket instead. Draxor stared at the locket for a moment, then opened it. inside was a picture of his mother, father, little sister katana, and himself at central city on holiday. tears began to flow from his face. "Mother, Father." he said, before setting the locket on the ground. he was alone for sure.

She smiled, chuckling at his shock. She walked closer and shrugged.
"I have business with the new Prime Minister first," she said truthfully. She couldn't leave just yet, she had too much to do. Too many goodbyes she didn't want to say. As she walked closer, Amaranth tried to peer under his hood, but the shadows were dark. She couldn't see anything. There was pain in his voice. Her smile faltered. He had seemed to be a kind hearted soul, one not used to killing. To have to do so must have created a burden on him. Before she could say anything though, he asked his question.
"I met a man a while ago who offered me a place in his school. I've been staying there for a couple of weeks," she responded. That was going to be one of the harder goodbyes. Jorlaxl was a good friend of her's. He had been incredibly kind and trusting. He never once questioned her. Before she could say anymore though, he started to cry. Now what...? With a sigh, she knelt before him.
"Hush now," she said softly, reaching out to brush away his tears. It seems like this time on Earth had made her softer than she ever thought possible. But as she got closer, the strange scent intensified. Instead of trying to brush his tears away, her head rested on the tree beside his head. Amaranth leaned forward, closing her eyes and sniffing him, trying to place that smell.
"Draxor...why has your scent changed?" she asked, leaning closer. The hackles on her tail was raised. She opened her eyes, staring him straight in the face.
"What happened?"

Draxor looked her in the eyes and froze. suddenly he shut his eyes and moved away, fear welled up in him. "Have you heard of the Vampiric virus in the mount paozu region?" he asked, turning to her again. "I was in that region following a lead on my parents murderer, and a Vampire or two try to jump me. after i killed them a whole mess of them came after me. it's kinda foggy but i remember a full moon, being bitten by a Infected girl named Kari before she exposed me to the full moon causing me to turn into a great ape." he said. he tried to hide his fear, thinking she would try to kill him anyway.
he stood there, wondering whether to flee or stand his ground. he unravaled his tail, the only thing that wasn't different. he let out a sigh, then turned away. "I'm stuck like this, Katana doesn't even know." he said with sadness in his voice. he started to shake with fear.

She stood as he did, watching him walk away. She hadn't heard of this infection. She had been too caught up in the drama with Touketsuki that she had had little time to even think about anything else. As Draxor explained what had happened, she leaned against the tree he had previously been leaning on. His story sounded odd, though like something she'd come to expect on Earth. Her eyes watched him carefully. He seemed scared, terribly so. So, that's why he said he's been hunted...
She let the silence hang in the air for a moment before she sighed, running a hand through her bangs. She looked over at him, noting how he was literally shaking in fear. She could kill him if she wanted to. She was stronger, more experienced. In truth, Amaranth wouldn't bat an eye if she decided to kill him.
But, why would she? She didn't care about this infection. Draxor seemed alright, and it didn't seem to reach the school just yet. So instead of attacking him, Amaranth yawned. Closing her eyes, she slid down the tree, sitting against it. With a tilt of her head she looked over at him.
"Stop shaking before you piss yourself. I'm not going to hurt you. If I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead by now, Drax," she said, closing her eyes and leaning her head against the tree.

Draxor was surprised. "well it didn't help that the infection causes paranoia toward normal beings." he said, gaining back his composure. "hey, you still got the things i gave you?" he asked with a sincere voise, he wanted to know. but that was a stupid question. he walked back over to her and sat back down. "its harder than it looks to keep myself in check. the infected instincts are harder thean a saiyans." he said. he went back to cleaning his gun, putting it back together. "so whats your homeworld like?" he asked, he wanted to know her a little more.
But he didn't want to get too attached, he needed to find Kari and the others. he clipped his weapons back on and sat there with her for a while, waiting.

She listened as he sat back down, not bothering to open her eyes. Resting like this was always a treat for her. Though, it seems like every time she tries to get away from it all, something happens and the world finds her again. First Jorlaxl, then Boliko, then Draxor. She again didn't open her eyes at his question, simply nodding. Yes, the bracelet and necklace he gave her were packed away. In truth, she hardly wore jewelry. If she ever did, it was to event that called for her to dress up, and even then it was at the insistence of her lady-in-waiting Ivy and her head butler Floote.
Draxor continued to go on about how the new instincts put into him by this infection were harder to control than his Saiyan ones. What that meant though, she didn't exactly know. Did it mean he was going to attack her in some way? Or cower again? Amaranth didn't pay much mind to it. His next question though, got her to open her eyes.
"My home world... I don;t have one, but two. Nor and Writhos. They're incredibly different in almost every way. Writhos is very hot, with two suns and one moon. Nor on the other hand, has two large moons and one weak sun and is very cold. Writhos is covered in forests and plains and deserts. The people there are wild, wolf-like, temperamental, rough, hard headed, and almost animistic in some ways. Nor on the other hand is different from place to place. It's really advanced, but incredibly traditional. If I were to wear these clothes there for example, I think at least a hundred people would faint at my appearance!" she finished with a laugh. Her voice had gone warmer as she talked, her eyes distant and a soft smile on her face. She was homesick, terribly so. While it was true that she was going to really miss people here on Earth, she missed her family and friends there more. She needed to go back. not just for them, but for her people as well.

Draxor listened, and since he only knew of earth as his home, he was quite interested. "so why did you leave? I mean you hated Earth when i first met you but you didn't wanna go back either." his curiostiy could get him killed but he wanted to know. she knew his secret, he wanted to know her better. "I mean I've only known here as my home and i would never leave unless i had to." he said.

Why did she leave? What a loaded question. Amaranth sighed, turning her gaze skyward.
"Three years ago, a great war started on my home worlds. Someone very important to me died in the last battle, saving my homes. But, even though he died a hero, I never got to say goodbye. Seeing his face plastered everywhere...hearing his name from everyone.... I just couldn't take it. I had to get away. I have family on Earth, so I thought I'd come here," she responded, voice quiet. Her eyes were unfocused, cloudy with memories. She didn't tell Draxor her exact part in the war. How she led part of her father's army into battle. How she had first been kidnapped by An'Gel, then befriended him, then fell in love with him. Those two years had been a whirlwind of emotions, and she had been unable to get closure on Nor or Writhos. Running away might not had been the best idea at the start, but her time here on Earth had allowed her to move on. She still though of An'Gel, but her heart didn't break all over again when she did.
Amaranth closed her eyes, lowering her head as a soft breeze blew by the two of them. With a soft sigh, she brushed her bangs out of her face. Her tail moved lazily on the ground beside her. She was tired. This week had been crazy. One fight to another, both mental and physical.

"then i know how you feel. We, Katana and I, Lost our parents when i was about five or six, katana being three. i vowed that i'd find the murderer." he lowered his head, and hatred welled up. "I've failed my father more than once, but he let everything slide and was very optimistic." he grabbed the locket and closed it. "I don't know how it got here, but this locket belonged to my mother." he turned to Amaranth, her eyes were closed and she seemed tired. he let out a sigh, Roxar formed out of no where. "See i told you." he said startling draxor. "hey whats the big idea Roxar..." "Shhhhhhh!" Roxar pointed to Amaranth, which draxor remembered why.
Back at Central, Roxar was Vengence, a cruel ebodiment of draxor's pure hatred. Roxar ending up fighting Amaranth, while a still damaged draxor attacked from behind so the damage didn't get worse. he wondered if Amaranth remembered and still wanted to kill Roxar. "she may still hate me, i did piss her off last time we met." he said. Draxor tried to remain optimistic about this but couldnt. he stared at Amaranth then at Roxar.

Amaranth sighed once again. She had to wonder what kind of image she projected if they thought she wanted to do nothing but kill them. She let them talk for a moment before lowering her head. She sighed once more, like one who was greatly put upon.
"Just because my eyes are closed doesn't mean I can't hear you, idiots. Opening her blue eyes, she looked at the two of them through her lashes, her weariness echoed in her somber eyes.
"So, you two are buddies now?" she asked with a raised brow, shifting her position so she lay more comfortably against the tree, yet was still able to see them both. Her tail moved lazily over the ground as she rested her head on her slightly raised shoulder, staring inquisitively at the duo. Another curious fact was that the scar on her back didn't ache as it did the first time Roxar appeared.

"yep, he changed form a few minutes after he got beaten. when you sent me and Mesa away from the battle that day, he turned from Vengence to the good entity Roxar." Draxor explained. Roxar looked at Amaranth, raising his brow. "you seem different since the last time we met. not so... hateful towards the world." he smiled, hoping not to offend her. he stared at her for a moment. "so you actually friendly towards Drax? cause i didn't believe you when you said not to trust you and you were not his friend."
Draxor waited for them to finish their conversation, the wind started to pick up again. Roxar was now light instead of pure darkness, so he was guessing Amaranth was curious. "you two can talk, if you don't mind i need to try something alone." he said standing, he planned to see if he could master his mental link to the other infected. maybe if he meditated he could try to focus.

Light, darkness. It was all so black and white, literally. She had never been good at that. She was always a gray area person. She never tried to separate the right from the wrong exclusively, she always aw the overlap. Maybe that's why she didn't really get the whole Evil Vengeance to Good Roxar thing. Nor truly, did she dwell on it all that much. She did have to roll her eyes though at Roxar's comment about her earlier words.
"I was never 'hateful toward the world,' as you say. Hating the world would be stupid. And I still say you're both idiots. You offer everything about your pasts up on a silver platter. You don;t even know who I am past my name," she said boredly, not willing to get into a deep conversation with them. Her eyes followed Draxor momentarily as he walked away before she closed her own and rested her head against the tree. She didn't have any questions for either of them, nor did she care. Truthfully, if she hadn't been feeling a mite bad about how she left things with him, she wouldn't have even come here. She would have just turned and walked away.

"so what your saying is that Draxor and I shouldn't trust you? Kinda goes against his nature. you see the only creature he wont trust are Saiyans, and some androids." Explained Roxar, he also told Amaranth about his problems with people around the world had treated him since the anouncment Gurin gave out, let alone the infection. he's had to defend himself, and kill to survive.
Draxor was trying to work on the mental link, when he over heard what Roxar was telling Amaranth. it was true he had to be an ominous shadow throughout this life. the Nemekian will not get any mercy from him.
