Ikezu hit the Namekian air going full speed, taking in the fresh air, the bright Namekian sun, and the scenery. It wasn't long before he spotted a village, and a scarlet cape billowing in the breeze. A symbol on the cape matched the one on his right shoulder.
He touched down behind his King, the cape bearer. His right knee firmly planted into on the ground.
"King Boliko, Rensou is dead. Our great capitol lies in ruins, and I... I have failed you." Ikezu spoke, his voice shaking at that last line, it broke him inside to know that he couldn't protect the people he loves, his family, his new home. That he had failed.
Ikezu's eyes peered into his Kings boots, waiting for anything. Anything at all, punishment, death, branding. Whatever happened, Ikezu would grit his teeth and take whatever was given to him.

Boliko hums a little as he walks through the village, his hands locked together behind his back. He was considering his place on the larger scale of things - what he would do once Touketsuki was defeated. He had an empire to care for, and after rebuilding from the damage that was probably caused on his homeworld, where would he go from? Would he follow in the tyrants footsteps?
Perhaps.
He twists around, suddenly, his body gaunt. A familiar power. The lionman. Ikezu. He had been on Vegeta when the WTO hit, and by rights would still be there if they had managed to win. Boliko's fears were confirmed, then. He tries to smile as the other warrior descends, fails to do so, his lips forming a sort of grimace. He listens intently to the kneeling warrior, his brow furrowing. When he had finished, the king stands silently for a moment, one hand stroking his beard.
He then steps forwards, and places his left hand on the beastman's right shoulder. His grip is hard, yet gentle. "Ikezu. Rensou died for the people, and our right to fight again.
"The city will be rebuilt, and you have not failed me." The king turns away. No. Not failed.
"You have given me hope for the future."
He turns back around. "And of Touketsuki? Where is the great lizard heretic?" he spits the name out as if it were a plague. His right hand balled into a fist, his anger not at Ikezu but at the Icer. He wanted to end it, end it now before any more of his friends, warriors, servants were destroyed. He would mourn Rensou, but the fury of his confirmed death would come first. He wanted to destroy the World Trade, single-handedly. His hair seems to shimmer slightly; maybe a trick of the light?

The king remained calm, like a mountain remains calm in the face of a great storm. His hand stroking his beard.
"Ikezu. Rensou died for the people, and our right to fight again. The city will be rebuilt, and you have not failed me." The king turned away before continuing, "You have given me hope for the future."
He turned back to the lion-man, "And of Touketsuki? Where is the great lizard heretic?" He spat the name like venom, the name of the bane. The bane of all existence. Touketsuki Yakedo.
"He wrote an acceptance to your challenge on my ship... in my blood. That would suggest he's heading here. But knowing the coward for what he is, he's probably heading to earth. If he's not there already." Ikezu spoke, his teeth bared at the mentioning of his message. His clawless hands gripping the soil, small nubs of nail poking out from their resting place.
If it were the death of him, Ikezu would return the favor.

Boliko shakes his head. Ikezu seemed to have spoken the truth... if Touketsuki were not here already, then where else could he be? Surely still not on Vegeta... his job was done there, he had taken his fun from the hands of a dead man. He had responded to his challenge... but was taking out some more time to prepare. Boliko was unsure which of the two leaders were the most deceitful - himself for living against his instinct, or Touketsuki for going around. Both were doing the same thing for different agendas, weren't they? Unless, of course, Yakedo had some over plans... but why head to Earth first, rather than any other planet? Why not confront Boliko immediately? Unless... Yakedo was aware he had access to a greater power.
"I wonder if Yakedo has knowledge of the Namekian's magical powers?" he murmurs, more to himself than to the Ikezu. Several of the green people were now approaching the lion warrior. "Ikezu, the Namekians could speed up your healing," he says, a wave of his hand referring to his clawless paws and battered body. Namekians had a natural-born healing clan, after all, and they had helped Boliko many a time after training. It wouldn't be immediate, but certainly within a few days the beast would have his claws back.
"Touketsuki may be going around me, but that only shows an innate fear of the 'monkey king'," the saiyan warrior quips, a smile flashing to his worn face, making him look much younger, like the boy he truly was behind the muscle and the beard. Boliko took pride in that, inspiring fear in a galactic warlord. Yes. He would win this battle, no matter how much Touketsuki prepared - he refused to accept the possibility of a loss any more. He would channel the anger of the dead, Rensou and his servants in the cities of Vegeta.
Yes.

"Ikezu, the Namekians could speed up your healing," The king spoke outloud, as a group of Namekian guards walked up to witness this strange new warrior.
"My gratitude, your highness..." Ikezu said bowing his head, gazing at the warm soil beneath them. It was much the same as Vegeta's, if a bit greener.
"Sir... is it unsaiyanly for me to worry about the earthlings?" Ikezu gazed upwards into the eyes of the king, the epitome of the unfaltering saiyan spirit. He longed to be like his adopted race, to show no fear, nor emotions in the face of such odds. The thoughts of battle excited him, but he couldn't help but ponder the fate of Earth at the hands of such a tyrant as Yakedo.
After the king had answered his question he would nod, and fly off towards the elder's fortress guided by his Namekian guard.
Once their he would meet the young Guru, Param.
"Sire, I request healing from your healers. I am an ally of Lord Boliko, and I came bearing news of the tyrant Yakedo."
"Hmm... very well son. Come closer." The guru spoke, softly as a father would speak to a son.
His warm hands floated above the Inaurian's body, and a heat filled him. His body felt as though it were remaking itself. Over time his wounds closed, and his claws would return. And Ikezu would be ready to start training again.

Boliko cocks his head to the right. "I would feel some pity for them had they sent me assistance, but it appears they ignored my calls for allegiance. Perhaps they knew that Touketsuki would head to Earth first... adhere to his schedule, as it were, but nonetheless they have done nothing to respond to me. However, you may worry for them. I'm not a dictator."
He then turns away. Yes. Touketsuki would have followed directly in Ikezu's wake had his plan been to come and directly accept Boliko's challenge. Instead he adhered to his schedule, going back to Earth... but why? Why allow Boliko to train further, gather strength? The answer was obvious. He was going to Earth to gain more strength himself, through mystical or artificial means, just as Boliko had on Namek.
He doesn't notice as the beast-warrior leaves. He ponders his next step. Remain on Namek, or...?
Perhaps he could go to Earth and stop the tyrant in his tracks. He would need to assemble his warriors and tell them his decision, should he decide on that. He would ponder over the next few days. He continues his walk through the village, the soft Namekian grass tickling his feet. The giant was currently gentle, but he intended to break Touketsuki. If his forces left soon, they could reach Earth. If Touketsuki was there.
For now, they would wait a little longer. [Finito]
