Days ago, Xero had began his new life. His people had been destroyed by a race he knew nothing about abd he had sworn to avenge them. As he searched the rubble of his old home, he stumbled across a secret bunker, which his parents had placed for him. It was there, where his life changed, and his true role began. He found the legendary weapon of his people known as The Hell Bringer. Upon touching it, the two fused, and Xero was granted knowledge, speed, and strength, as well as the abilities of the Hell Bringer.
After buryig his people, Xero departed in a space ship, which his parents had kept in the bunker. It was preprogrammed for a planet called Earth, a month or so away from Zareah. But the ship was not built to go through the asteroid belt of a foreign planet. As the ship entered, it began being pelted by the smaller of the rocks. Xero was no pilot, but did his best to get around them. But with the gravity from the planet, and the loss of fuel in the shop, Xero was forced to crash land.
The ship hit hard, flinging Xero around like a rag-doll. He grabbed onto his chair, holding on for dear life. And thats probably what saved him. There was practically nothing left of the ship, but rubble, which Xero had to climb out of. When he did, he was greeted the the sheer beauty of the green planet he was on.
Wilig sweat and blood from his head, he took a deep breath. The air here was much cleaner than on his home planet, and carried a sweet smell. The sky was a light green, and the seas an emerald. It was a sight to be held.
As he walked away from the crator filled with junk from his ship, he began to wonder what the planet's inhabitants would look like. And if they would be friendly. He also would have to find out where he was, and how he could get to Earth from here. There was no telling with his ship in such bad condition.
It was a quiet walk for Xero as he thought, but it was a greatly needed silence after crashing. But after a few hours, he was forced to sit down and evalutate his situation. The first step was to see where he'd been wounded. His head, right leg, and chest all had been bleeding, but were now beginning to heal. Other than that, there were no broken bones, or other injuries.
The next thing he wound do would be to sit an rest for a moment. He was beginning to feel fatigued, and thirsty. He thought about drinking from the oceans, but there was no telling how his body would react he the green water. He would have to find someone that lived here before he could do anything... So he migut as well sit and wait...

((Sorry it took so long, been pretty busy. Thanks for your patience))
Virion absent-mindedly locked onto a stray energy signature and used to it make the jump to the next village, a feat he had done many times before, only paying enough attention to confirm it was in the direction he wanted without being too close, it was alone, and it was not a namekian warrior or villager.
He was still mapping out the planet within his mind, surveying and preparing as he materialised a few paces from where it sat. I really must pick up my pace, the time it is taking me c- He was somewhat surprised when his peripheral vision did not pick up a namekian animal or dinosaur-like creature as the owner of the life force he had used, but rather an alien. A humanoid, male it seemed, yet another member of the oh-so-typical human-like caste. It had always intrigued Virion that of all the diversity in this universe, so many of them, baring a few minor alterations, conformed to this specific design.
Even the Kaioshin themselves seemed based on this common form... Perhaps it wasn't so unusual that so many races shared that appearance after all.
The man appeared slightly injured, fatigued and even a little concussed. Perhaps he was an inhabitant of the larger ship Virion had seen crashing to the planet's surface far off on the horizon... No, that vessel had landed off in the opposite direction, somewhere over the horizon from where he currently stood. That particular ship had attracted Virion's attention momentarily but his senses had quickly informed him that it belonged neither to Koregutsu nor Touketsuki's forces and so he had brushed it from his mind. Similarly, he did not believe this alien to be from either faction in the saiyan/world-trade conflict, though perhaps he had ventured here due to Boliko's broadcast.
Although Virion stood poised to fly away, he lingered, still like a statue, looking towards the alien from the corner of his eye... "You are a long way from home, I should think..." He finally purred after a drawn out pause, his oiley voice caressing each word tenderly. Leaning back and standing more naturally, he turned his head back towards the front, his back facing the alien from a 3/4 stand point. During his thoughts he had studied the man's energy in more detail, paying it the due diligence he should probably have given it in the first place. He turned, now facing the man front on, His lips curling into a wicked little smile "My my, a soul attachment... Well now I am intrigued." The bio-android was walking forward slowly, each step squeaking on the namekian soil, approaching the sitting figure "Not a common occurrence among those of mortal origin, that is for sure. Where do these threads of bonding leads us... a place or sibling?" He probed deeper, examining the trail left by this soul attachment process "... hmm, a weapon... Very interesting indeed" he croaked, drawing out the final syllable in what was almost an oily sigh.
Virion knew of soul attachments thanks to the implanted knowledge woven into his being. Many powerful demons often wielded a soul-attached weapon, connected to their spiritual energy and summoned fourth at will. Others utilised soul attachments in different ways, such as drawing on the strength of a mystic place, or through an inter-personal connection between individuals of a close bond. Virion's Bio-resonance was itself a form of soul attachment, networking the individual spirits of all infected into a vast array of unusual intricacy.
The energy Virion sensed from this man did not appear to be that of a demon. That made him somewhat of a special case, and not being a native it was also likely that should he go missing none would be alerted to his absence. Virion continued his steady pace, the gap closing.
Curiosity drew Virion forward. Again his damaged mind did not lead him directly to the information he sought, it's records fractured or lacking. Still, there was always other ways of finding out what he wanted to know, it would all be simple enough to jog his memories.
As he wordlessly comes to a stand directly before the alien, he would reach forward, the maw on his palm opening and the appendage swiping downwards in a strike which would have it lash directly into the man's chest. If the alien did not dodge then the infection would be quick and simple. If he did dodge then Virion hand would likely smash through the ground behind where the creature currently sat, Virion would turn towards his opponents new position with a wicked, predatory gleam in his eyes.
Even if it came down to a full blown fight Virion would have little trouble overwhelming this being, the man's strength resting no higher than that of the average warrior namekian, and far below Virion's full potential.
((not sure how you want to handle this so... there you go, do with it what you will, I'm not very fussed about how this should/shouldn't play out))

Xero, who had been drifting to sleep, noticed as the sound of lightly squeeking footsteps padded towards him. One eye opened and he took a good look at the approching creature. He looked quite different than any alien he'd ever seen before, but that didn't surprise him. It was the energy that radiated from him that made Xero's face reveal a confused look.
As the creature began to speak, Xero's other eye opened and he watched him carefully, not sure how it would react to his presence on its planet, if it were truly a native. But something inside Xero told hin that this was no native. Infact, this was no alien at all. But what it was remained a mystery. He carefully listened as it spoke, not to Xero, but more to itself about Xero. He was correct about many things, but soul bonding was not Xero's case. He had been created just for The Hell Bringer, and as he merged with it he finally had become whole. This was not the case in soul bonding. But Xero did not correct it.
As the monster stopped in front of Xero, he stared up at it, silently, waiting for it to introduce itself. But what happened next was no introduction. "Move!"[\i] shouted the newest part of Xero from deep within him. It took a split second, but he did so, landing directly beside a fanged palm which connected with the ground.
It stared at him, a sickening smile on its face, but Xero showed no fear. There was none, because he had nothing left. A man with nothing left to lose is often the most mighty of opponents. He stood up quickly, brushing dirt from his tattered clothing, "Now then," he told the creature, shaking his head, "that is no way to treat a stranger." A smile slid over his face, mirroring the creature's and but his face grew serious, "what is it that you want with me?" he asked, crouching low, a defensive stance ready. "I have done nothing to prevoke this kind of attack. But if it is a figt you want, then it is a fight you will get."
His right hand began to glow, and a long scythe-like weapon materailized. He held the weapon gracefully, and swong the blade towards the creature with intense speed; however speed unrivalling to the creatures. As he finished his attack, the weapon would vanish, only to reveal itself again to block, or attack. The weapon would be unfamiliar to the creature, but the energy it put off as Xero attacked would be nearly identical to Virion's. That is because the weapone was created in a nearly identical way.

Virion's tail had lazily intercepted the initial strike of the halberd-like weapons, the bio-android not even bothering to turn around. However, in the instant of direct contact something about the polearm struck virion, a new insight surfacing in that moment. Well now, /That's/ interesting. Unlike before however Virion did not enunciate upon his thoughts, his new revelation instead pocketed away within the recesses of his mind.
His opponent was impossibly outmatched, Virion's superiority in this instant all but insurmountable. Despite this, Virion's good humor carried his forward along a more subtle path.
"A fight?" The gravelly voiced bio-android replied with an innocently surprised voice, as if genuinely shocked by such an accusation "Oh no you misconstrued my actions" Deceit had almost become second nature by now, and Virion was quite the adept. His voice positively purred as he continued; "You are a stranger on my home world here..." He said amiably, the gentle smile on his face as he turned around at last still somewhat betrayed by his monstrous features "...so I will not take offense to your unusually aggressive response. I assure you my friend, I was merely extending to you a customary Namekian greeting, of support and friendship, no aggressive intent. Don't let my unusual appearance fool you, we Namekians are a peaceful people and i wish only to help" The lies rolled off his tongue like silk. The man had not initially fled at Virion's sight, which hinted that perhaps he was unfamiliar with this world, did not know how out of place Virion was here. He fully intended to exploit this ignorance mercilessly... though if all else failed it would be a simple task to overpower the alien.
Virion had raised his hand once more, closing the maw in it's palm. He rotated the offered limb downward so that the palm faced upward, his hand now extended towards Xero in a motion of charity. "No hard feelings, I'm sure I would feel just as disoriented and confused were the situations reversed. My village is some way off, so if you take my hand I can transport us there, we have fresh water and could likely gather anything else you need." Virion's energy shifted, manipulated now so that it appeared clam, friendly and pure. The bait was set.
If the man were to drop his guard and take the offered limb, then Virion would have him. The bio-android's hand would clasp over the man's arm, and in it's iron grip there would be no way for the man to escape. Virion's other arm would come around and latch onto his shoulder, the infection being injected then and there. If the man did not fall for this deception then Virion would spring forward in a lightning fast movement, abandoning all pretense of deception and instead taking the alien by force. He would launch two open palmed attacks at blistering speed. His power was so far above the aliens own that should these two attempts still prove to be unsuccessful, his patience would wane and he would simply lash out with his tail for a bludgeoning blow, sending the creature smashing hard into the ground with such force that he would be unlikely to get up before Virion got him, if at all.
((Still can't really post much, this was just a one off break for today so again sorry for making this stuff take so long :X ))

As the alien standing in front of he began to talk, curiousity blanketed Xero's face. The mood had suddenly changed, and the young man didn't know what to think. Then the answer to one of Xero's biggest concerns were answered. A Namekian. Though he was clueless to what this creature was, he had no reason to question its honesty. Why lie about your race? What could the creature possibly gain. And though the explaination of its attack was even more confusing, Xero had no reason to dismiss what he was saying. He knew nothing of the customs of the so called "Namekians". It would be rude to question.
It almost seemed at though Xero would not reply to the creatures offer to take him to its village, as he stood there in deep though, eaving the creature's outstreched hand hanging the the light breeze, but as he gave the "namekian" one last look over, he returned his smile. "Thank you for your kindness. I appologize if I seem suspicious of you in any way. I have just been though quite a lot in the past few days. I would greatly appreciate being taken to your village. I ask for no favors other than, perhaps for information about a race I encountered."
Xero's hand carefully took Virion's, and before he could truly see the deceit in its face, he was upon him. Its grip tightened, and Xero did not fight back. He was too startled to react. As the creature's free han shot around and grasped Xero's shoulder, he felt a sharp pain, like somehing was biting him. His brain could not comprehend the movements of the "namekian" or his attacks. And in a matter of seconds, the infection had begun.
((its all good. No reason to rush. ))

((yeah, don't take my post to mean you have to accept Virion's trick. If you'd rather duke it out or something you can edit your post so we do that instead, it would be a pretty one-sided fight though))
prughmp prughmp prughmp
The gentle pulsing noise could be heard close to the man's ear, the liquid traveling down the worm-like tube partially extruding from Virion's forearm and into the back of his hand, leading directly to the mouth-like opening it's palm and by extension the host body it now saw itself infecting. Half a second longer and Virion would have attacked this man, but as it was his patience had held out for just long enough. The alien stood now almost like a stunned mullet, tense and yet caught so by surprise that even the split second he may have had to struggle was lost to him.
"What a coincidence," Virion chuckled, almost cackled in fact, delighted at his own successes "I'm in the market for some information myself..." Now the man's eyes were glazing over, he stood there completely out of it, on the very limit of the unconscious. Everyone experiences the infection's transformation in a different way, Virion could only guess what visions, dreams or scenarios may be playing out in the young man's mind as the bio-androids essence infiltrated every part of his body.
It would only take a few more moments, already the man's body was undergoing the physical changes that aligned with his particular philology. As this occurred Virion would be able to reach out and satisfy his curiosity. Who was this man? why did he have such a weapon?
Who knows, thought Virion to himself, his eyes examining lazily the features of this creature's face. Like the namekians already on side this man might just make for another useful acquisition in the coming days.
((so, being an alien, how do you want to look when infected? Check out the faction's info for some examples of how different races are infected and decide on which you think makes the most sense for your guy. I'd assume probably just the human-style infection though you are free to negotiate whatever you want. Just pm me if you're wanting to go with anything special
As for what's happening now, feel free to write up in as much or little detail what you're experiencing (mentally) as part of your transformation, For example, some big long dream or nightmare sequence, some distorted yet somehow relevant memory, or even something simple like everything being dark with the sensation that you're falling. Whatever you want, it's your chance to run as wild [or not wild] as you'd like to with this and cause it's in your head it doesn't even need to conform to reality or your normal characterization.
And you know, take as much time as you need writing that up since I probably won't squeeze in another reply for a fair while))

Xero could feel something being pumped into him. He squirmed lightly under the aliens grasp, but it was too late. He cursed himself for being so foolish and letting himself be open for an ambush. He knew that his days were numbered and he would die without avenging his people. Just the thought of failing his people fille him with so much rage and hatred he could feel his insides twisting.
First, a light wind could be felt circling around the two, the calm before the storm. Second, small rocks and light debris rose into the air, joining the spinning current. Under their feet, the ground began to crack, each crack sounding like a roar of thunder. The energy inside Xero was now like none in the universe, as it battled fiercely with the toxins being pushed inside him.
His skin began to pale, turning grey, even. His hair rose and danced wildly with the energy forming around them. This would he unlike any infection the alien would ever induce. The battling energies would push themselves back, moving from Xero to Virion, mixing. Splicing. Xero tensed against the pain as they did so, feeling pain that would top the worst he'd ever felt. But Virion should be feeling the same sensation. The Hell Bringer warred against the toxins, but the battle slowly came to a stand still.
"Its okay, Xero," a voice from deep inside the man told him, "stop fighting. This is what we need." The voice was the same one that told him to avoid The creature's first attack. The Hell Bringer. "he can help us. Without him we are of no use to our people. He is the answer." it took Xero a while to accept this, but he had to. The Hell Bringer was his guide and to turn his back would have been a worse insult to his people than failing.
The energy subsided and though the alien would think he had just over came Xero, he would know the truth. The whites of Xero's eyes blackened, and his irises turned yellow, a slit appearing as the pupil, mimicing Virion's (I think?). His skin stayed the lght grey color it had turned, almost looking metalic in some spots. The blue scar on his face remained the same shape, but the color turned a light black and splotched into darker in some places.
Dark bags appeared under his eyes, like a person who hadn't seen sleep in weeks. And the nails on his fingers became metallic. These changes were all a combination of Virion's bio-essence and the Hell Bringer and would be unique to Xero. For he was no longer just the Hell Bringer. He was a newer, stronger entity and he could feel it.

"Oh ho-ho" Virion chuckled in his characteristically gruff, oily voice, his eyes narrowing as he gently clenched and unclenched his fingers, slight sparks still coming off the palm after that interesting exchange. "well now you do have some fight in you after all... although perhaps my compliments may be slightly misdirected" the bio-android had sensed it earlier upon first contact with the weapon, and now there was no mistake. "More than just a soul attachment..." He murmured out loud, looking into the alien’s eyes but opting to conclude the sentence within his head after noticing his new allies continued oblivion; the weapon has sentience, and it appears as though it shares some interesting parasitic... no, /symbiotic/ properties. He has potential, but only time will tell if he reaches it. As Virion probed now he could see that the man before him was a hybrid, the weapon having piggy-backed on his own bio-essence to integrate itself more thoroughly into the alien's form.
Diluted as is was, it appeared as though Virion's essence had not been potent enough to eradicate the foreign element as it otherwise would have, however by this point the bio-android had come to expect such mediocrity, the transformation only ever reaching a fraction of the full cycle it was once able to induce.
"Xero" said Virion lightly, turning back now towards the man. The alien appeared to be coming out of the drowsy haze Virion's infection normally caused; in this way reacting more like a namekian by retaining his consciousness rather than the humans on earth who often passed out for a short time. He had no doubt that the Hell Bringer had something to do with this.
Such insights drifted lightly towards Virion over the mental link, the connection now shared with this creature allowing him to draw on knowledge from the man's mind. Last of your kind... I can sympathise to an extent. That being the case it was perhaps no wonder Virion had not known of his race. In one hundred years time it was likely they had become nothing but a distant memory, the man possibly even perishing out here so far away from the nearest settlement.
“I will take you to the village now” Virion's hand came to rest on the man's shoulder, the bio-android taking two steps forward to stand directly before the alien, and in a brief instant both had teleported away. He had not entirely been lying to Xero when he had spoken earlier, indeed the best lies always ran parallel to an inner truth.
---
The two figures would reappear in the blink of an eye, the scene around them changed. They would instead be in a village, and a number of namekians would come to greet them, looking up from their everyday activities. On closer inspection Virion’s new companion might notice the the splotchy patches of skin and desaturated pads along their arms, making the connection that they too were like him, despite not knowing what a regular namekian would look like by comparison. Indeed he may naturally pick up on a great deal of information through the mental link like these infected namekians could do among one another(and indeed as Virion had done to learn briefly of his newest companion), though being an alien species this wasn’t entirely guaranteed to occur so naturally for Xero at first. Regardless, his fellow infected would be quite obliging, and bring him what he needed.
Virion, without so much as a backward glance, began pacing off away from the group, apparently intent on departing. If there was anything the man wished to say or ask then now would be the time, as despite his mild interest in this novel distraction the bio-android fully intended to return to the task at hand. He was a busy creature and felt no need to play baby sitter, his basic curiosity over the young male Zarian, wielder of the 'Hell Bringer', now adequately satisfied. ((Welcome officially to the infected unless you had any grand immediate schemes I’d say this thread is winding down. I’ll pm you some things, and edit the infected faction info so that you’re no longer pending. This will also increase our bio-resonance multiplier from x4 to a x5.))

"Xero," Virion cooed. The sound of his voice pulled Xero back into reality. He looked towards the creature, he was now bonded to and shook his head, "No, Virion. Call me Hell Bringer," he ordered, a smirk slidin across his face. It was obvious by his appearence that he was no longer the same man that had crashed onto this planet. He was no loger even the same man Virion had met moments before. He was something much greater.
The bio-andriod did as he promised, which was a surprise to Xero, even after catchig a glimpse into how he functioned. An as the two appeared, a gathering of greenish creatures around them, Xero knew that Virion had been lying about being from this planet. Though the aliens shared some of the same features as Virion, they were much different. And yet, a feeling overcame him of belongingness. He felt much like he had on his home planet, surrounded by his own people. He could sense something familiar about the creatures around him. They were like him. They were his people now.
"Namekians..." Xero thought aloud, repeating what Virion had called them much earlier. He had heard about the namekians only once before, and as he stood face to face with them, it came back to him. There was a legend on his planet about strange green creatures. They had powers of regeneration and could stretch their limbs far longer than pne could imagine. There was also a story of them knowing magic, however how much of it was truth was a mystery to Xero.
As Virion began to leave, Xero watched him, "If not Namekian, what are you, Virion?" he asked, raising a brow. It was a question that could not go unanswered. After sharing such a link, it would be unbearable to not know. After all, Virion lnew what Xero was, didn't he?

((the theatrical opening is just to ripe for me not to take this one, sorry But this is good though, you can have your own character's curiosities drive him towards the direction you were wanting in this, seeking to learn for himself more about the strange creature the hellbringer has advised him to join.)) Looking back over his shoulder, head tilted slightly, Virion's piercing gaze swept up towards Xero's own, the bio-androids expression set. "...I am the future".
He said the words simply, expressionlessly, and after a single lingering moment he had turned and vanished.
The breeze gently picked up in the growing silence.
--- One of the namekians stepped forward, addressing this newcomer, seeking to answer the man's question himself with what little they had managed to osmose through deduction and the vague whispers of their mental link. "He is a creature beyond distinctions such as race. He has never spoken to us about his origins but as you may have been able to sense his energy is... strange." Another took up the conversation, while one man offered the alien a respectful bow. "Perhaps you are unfamiliar with us, but as a people we are quite adept at reading a persons energy. Yet even for us the Virion is an enigma. We suspect he may be some form of hybrid... unnaturally born in the far off recessed of space. -" "of time" interjected a third cautiously. "- Not entirely unlike yourself." concluded the first. The namekians could sense it within this man the duality that now existed within, beyond merely that of Virion's infection. If anything he was a trinity of influences, with enormous potential...
"What is your name stranger?"((If you want you can make a new thread where you tell them your name and talk with the namekians before moving on to whatever you plan to do next then you can. Getting this graded now though will allow the admins to officially add your new transformation. So, Leaving thread now. Zeni please.Bio-resonance's multiplier will now be x5, so Virion, Hellbringer and Kari[if she's sorted yet] will need to be adjusted accordingly))
