Seori had been hesitant about going for his daily walk but he felt good about today. He would do some training later, though. He had a sinking feeling once he left the main city. The scorched plains were empty, as usual, but the sky was darker today than it normally was. He looked about and noticed nothing else out of the ordinary so he continued to walk. He thought back to the previous days he had been here.
The first instance was when he first used his Green Meteor attack back when his brother was still on the planet. The second time was when he had first started his walks out here when he was attacked by two other saiyans. The third time he had a second run-in with the shorter and meaner of the saiyans. Seori was glad that nonsense was over. He continued walking slowly as the wind blew his hair back and forth. He suddenly stopped when he sensed someone else's energy in the area.

Letuz's day was just like any other, with the exception of yesterday where he got his butt kicked by stupid insects. Not a problem though but he wouldn't go near the forest today. He had seen someone headed toward these plains earlier but wasn't sure where they went. Letuz was itching for a fight but he knew that there was always the chance that his power level would fall below his opponent. No matter. If he fought a strong opponent he could make them his rival, giving him a boost in motivation.
Letuz's eyes immediately fixed themselves on a saiyan who was walking alone. This saiyan had a strange feel about him so Letuz approached him cautiously. Letuz let out a nervous laugh and asked the person in a reasonable tone, "Hey there. I'm Letuz. What's your name?" Letuz could feel that this person's power level was a bit higher than Letuz's, causing him to feel a bit overwhelmed by getting in a fight with him. Letuz would let the guy's personality do the talking and judge by his response...

Seori turned at the sound of a voice. He wasn't familiar with it but it didn't seem to be directed toward him violently. Seori was confused by the laughter of this guy. He laughed? Why? Seori gave an awkward grin and said, "The name's Seori. It's nice to meet you...er, Letuz was it?" Seori didn't know what to think. From the looks of it, this guy was a fighter. It really wasn't surprising though on this planet. Seori was running through all the possibilities in his mind. This was mostly because of the fact that usually nobody wanted anything to do with Seori.
One reason for this could be that this guy wanted to fight Seori and drop his guard by acting friendly. Another reason could be that he was just taking a walk like Seori, although people usually trained out here. Seori wasn't familiar with his face so it could be that he hadn't seen this guy training here before. Seori wondered if this guy would want to pick a fight thinking Seori was weaker than him. What if he did? What if Seori was weaker? It's not like Seori could really tell since some people had ways to change their power levels on command. Seori stared into the boy's eyes hoping for some kind of hint on this guy's intentions.

Letuz grinned. This kid seemed alright. It didn't seem like he would do any senseless beating to Letuz. Letuz nodded and said, "Well. I would seem that we're both around the same age, so we're probably around the same power level. We should train together, don't you think? I mean if we make eachother rivals we have much more to strive for, especially when one gets ahead of the other? Usually I just fight whoever offers but you look like you'd put up a good fight! It really wouldn't even be a fight. More of a sparring match if you ask me!" Letuz laughed in a way that would make him seem a bit more approachable.
The upside to what he just said would outcome any downsides. He could get stronger and train without getting any trouble from his father. He'd also have someone to vouch for him and be a witness to him actually doing something, even if he did nothing! It was perfect! The only thing left now was to get Seori to say yes. Hopefully it wouldn't give him any more trouble. Training with someone else surely beat training alone...

Seori was taken by surprise. This guy had just asked to be Seori's rival? Would that make them friends, or enemies? Probably adversaries. Seori didn't know what to think. He opened his mouth, tripping over his words, "Um. Well. I suppose that...I guess....sure that'd be....alright I suppose. Um. Should we start now...? Seori didn't know what to say. He was so socially awkward that the situation was made even more embarrassing.
Seori went into his simple stance with his torso slightly twisted and his legs at shoulder length. He didn't know what to do at this point. He readied himself though, unsure of this kid's power. Was he really wanting to fight? Was it because Seori seemed weak? Was this kid that desperate to get stronger? Why Seori? As if things weren't awkward enough already... Seori watched his opponent and began to build his ki steadily just in case flight was needed.

Letuz was relieved that his plan fell through when this kid agreed to battle with him. The stakes wouldn't be high and it wouldn't be a life or death battle so things were looking great. Letuz went into a stance of his own, similar to Seori's and could almost feel Seori's ki change. It was like he was a different person when fighting. Letuz felt rather silly paying attention to things like that. He was determined to do well in this battle and fight long enough to get his strength higher and maybe high enough to actually make a difference on his planet and actually be a somebody.
Letuz decided to take the first attack and shouted, "On your feet, buddy!" His white aura swirled around him as he dashed forward to throw series of punches. Hopefully, Seori would be as strong as Letuz was thinking. If he proved to be strong enough they'd both have great rivals to fight against. This would prove very useful in future battles. It'd take a lot of time but maybe they could even become the most powerful beings in the universe. Just the thought could conjure up laughter. Like that'd ever happen. But what if it did?
The thought stirred something deep inside Letuz. If he could have control over everything and everyone with just a wave of his arm. He wouldn't want anyone standing in his way. Not even another saiyan. But what would that get him. He'd need someone to help him pave his way to glory. Was this a new dream? A goal? Something to strive for other than avoiding his father's rage? Things were changing and Letuz was only just noticing them now.

'On your feet buddy!' The phrase caught Seori off guard making his escape plan fail. He began to take several punches although he began to block what he could in the flurry of movement. Each punch felt heavy and it was only a matter of time before Seori would grow tired trying to block what he could. Even through blocking he was still taking damage. His hands were throbbing. He couldn't stop now though. His tail flicked and he realized he left it open, making him prone to weakness. He wrapped it around his waist to keep it a bit safer. This was the perfect moment for his opponent and Seori knew because he took several more punches which was difficult to come back from.
Seori shot upward in an attempt to avoid any more attacks. Maybe he'd be able to have more success with aerial attacks. Seori tried to keep his focus on the battle but no matter what he couldn't stop thinking about this kid's motivation. Could it have something to do with using Seori as a training dummy? Seori wouldn't let that happen. Seori felt some anger rush to his head which caused him to use more ki to build up for his Twin Beacon attack. He was using this quite early in the battle but this would hopefully gauge how his opponent's reflexes worked.
Seori's fists turned green and blue and he slammed them together, firing a swirling spiral of green and blue ki. The attack wasn't at full power since Seori didn't want to do too much damage, although his anger had caused him to use a bit more than he realized, although it still wasn't up to where it normally was. Seori wondered if his opponent would dodge or if he'd take the attack head on. What was he planning? Seori shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.

Letuz's thoughts stopped when his opponent made a strange movement and suddenly took some bad blows from Letuz's punches. Letuz watched his opponent shoot up skyward and thought about pursuing him but what better way to test his power than let him show Letuz his aerial attacks! Letuz was taken by surprise when the kid started right off the bat with an energy attack. There was a swirling spiral of color and Letuz watched stupidly as the attack neared. Letuz snapped out of his stupor and began to charge his ki quickly. He threw his fist forward firing his Fist Beam attack from it. Hopefully he'd get the energy to clash with his opponent's. That way he'd be able to push it back if he was powerful enough.
To Letuz's dismay, the spiraling energy overcame his own and drilled right through it, hitting Letuz head on. Letuz went flying backward, followed by bits of rubbel from the attack. It wasn't as bad as Letuz had thought but it was still pretty devastating if it could make his own beam attack useless. He needed to get stronger if he wanted to get his beam to clash with his opponent's. In his current state he would need to use much more ki which would be a bad choice in the current fight since he was already in a bad spot.
Letuz's thoughts flashed back to getting stronger and taking control of the Planet. His intention was never to go that far but he might as well while he's at it. In his current state he couldn't even fend off his enemies beam attack which severely discouraged him. Did he even stand a chance? Was it really worth it? Letuz knew that his enemy was still holding back a bit too, or at least that was the worst case scenario. His jaw tightened in frustration and he then loosened up, trying not to get his enemies full power thrown upon him if his assumptions were correct.
"Heh. Nice buddy! Looks like I've got a ways to go... Let's continue..." He chuckled nervously and began charging his ki again. "DUPE DESTROYER! HAAAA!" Letuz threw his fists forward, throwing out two orbs of energy that sped toward Seori quickly. Letuz grinned and then realized his enemy had his tail wrapped around his waist unlike himself who had forgotten about his race's greatest weakness. He wrapped the tail around his waist quickly, his eyes still on his opponent.

Seori was a bit confused. Even though his opponent forces his own energy attack out, which looked quite formidable, his own had overcome it. Was that even possible? Seori didn't know what to think. Was Seori really stronger than this guy? Fighting Toma the day previous seemed somewhat easier. Seori's thoughts wandered until his opponent said out, ""Heh. Nice buddy! Looks like I've got a ways to go... Let's continue..." Seori nodded, wondering if he was just being toyed with. He looked down at his opponent who had the same idea as him and watched his tail wrap around his waist just as Seori had done.
Seori watched his opponent fire his Dupe Destroyer attack which sped quickly toward Seori. Seori wasn't sure what to do. Would the attack follow him. He was running out of time to think. If his opponent truly was weaker than him, then this attack shouldn't be too bad to block, would it? Seori threw his arms around himself protectively and took the attack head on. Smoke from the explosion covered Seori but it didn't last long.
Seori fell out of the cloud left from the explosion an spun around midair to stay balanced. He remained in the air panting. He didn't think his opponent's attack would hurt that much. Seori wasn't one to take pain that well though so it wasn't much of a shock that it did that much damage. Seori wondered what his next move would be. Now was Seori's turn to retaliate with the time he had. What would Seori do with his chance. His Green Meteor attack would take to long to charge up so his only chance to do damage was through hand to hand combat.
Seori sped forward, toward Letuz. He pulled back his fist and tensed the muscles in his arm. He would lunge forward, throwing his fist at Letuz hoping for him to block it. Once blocked (or if it hits), Seori would then take the opportunity to throw a kick at him to throw him backward which would maybe give him time to charge his Green Meteor attack. Seori wondered if he had enough time though but proceeded with his attack anyway...

Letuz was surprised at the effect of his own attack. Maybe he overestimated this guy. It was an okay attack but he wasn't trying to go overboard with the whole sparring thing. Maybe he'd do better by using more ki. That would be alright if there wasn't the risk of running out of energy half way into the battle. Letuz watched his opponent fall from the cloud from the blast and almost went to go help him out. Letuz knew better than to do that. He may be overestimating his opponent but he shouldn't do any underestimating. Letuz was panting pretty heavily still which made him wonder if the battle should continue or if it should be postponed to be finished another day.
His opponent made a graceful recovery and he was somewhat expecting that. He was running out of ideas. He wouldn't want to continue using all of his energy. Maybe he could get his opponent to run out of energy which would ultimately result in an upper hand of sorts. This was a bit of a gamble so Letuz was very hesitant about it. He really didn't have a lot of time to think though which the battle continuing. His thoughts began to roam to irrelevant things like what time it was or how long they'd been fighting.
His thoughts immediately stopped as he took a punch head on, followed by a swift kick which threw him backwards. He kept going until he was level to the ground. Once he was level to the ground he did his best to dig his heels into the ground, eventually allowing him to stop his unwanted trajectory. His opponent was just full of surprises now. He was wondering why his opponent wasn't using energy attacks. Did he have a similar idea...?
Letuz wouldn't let his opponent get an upperhand now. Things weren't looking good. Letuz began to gather his ki which became visible as it swirled around him violently. He began collecting more and more ki until he was sure it was time to fire it at his opponent. Letuz would use his fist beam at full power. Hopefully it wouldn't be too draining on his ki reserves. He never realized until now how tired he was getting from this battle. Maybe after this last attack he would call it quits if he could signal to his sparring partner fast enough. He couldn't help but return his thoughts to where they had strayed too before.
Letuz thought back to their planet along with the universe. Could they ever really be his? There would be so much opposition. Was training with another Saiyan be that helpful? Maybe if he got Seori to agree to step up their training they would actually stand a chance. Maybe the two should consider travelling to another planet with stronger fighters. That was just a scary though right now. Did such a place exist? It must if the older Saiyans were so intent on getting stronger... Letuz had no choice but to get stronger as well. It was funny how one battle changed his attitude about life, even if for a few moments. With that, Letuz fired his Fist beam which violently erupted in a rough white ki with swirls of red in it.

Seori almost squealed in excitement when his attack had worked. He shot upward and stopped quickly as he watched him opponent try to stop himself from the attack. Seori began to charge his ki with intentions of his Green Meteor attack but when he saw his opponent charge up his ki he changed his plan. Seori thought that maybe he could match his opponents ki with his own and pushed his opponent's beam backwards.
Seori's right fist began to flicker with a green aura and his left began to flicker with a blue aura. Slamming his fists together, he fired his Twin Beacon attack. Unsure of how much energy remained in his body, he tried to be conscientious about the amount he was putting into this attack. If he used too much it would simply overpower his enemies attack and his enemies beam would be useless. However if he used too little he could have the same thing happen to him.
Seori lucked out, because as the two beams collided, they continued to struggle against each other, making attempts to fight back. Seori realized that he would need to continuously use his energy to push harder so this would make the victor the one with the most ki left. Seori was unsure about this because a lost of the attacks that Seori used were energy based meaning he could be at a major disadvantage.
Seori felt his strength draining as he continued the beam attack and hatched a plan. If he could push the opposing attack far enough back, he could escape the blast and continue fighting. It would save him ki if he didn't use it all up pushing the other beam back. There was no way to tell, and Seori's body began to feel heavy. This always happened when his ki got too low. His beam began to recede back towards him but he continued, trying to at least keep them even.

Letuz wasn't too surprised to see the beam shot from his opponent. Did he think that he could overpower Letuz's fist beam so easily? This time Letuz put forth quite a bit of ki. This would help him fend of the other beam. Letuz was determined to fight back this time. He wasn't going to stop and he was going to end it as soon as the beam struggle ended. He wondered if Seori would think of stopping the battle just as soon. Letuz was tiring quickly but he wasn't about to quit.
Letuz's thoughts stayed focuses this time on the beam and nothing else. He could feel resistance of the other beam begin to dwindle so he attempted to force his beam right through the other. It didn't really work though, and it just ended up costing him a bunch of ki but he judged from the distance between him and the other beam that he might be able to escape from its blast or at least cushion it since he was almost out of ki anyway. Letuz immediately stopped his flow of ki and flew quickly upwards and back. The opponent's beam seemed to swallow what was left of his own and the resulting explosion with the ground threw Letuz back.
Letuz was thrown onto his back but he just laid there panting. He said aloud, "I think...I think we can take a break now!" Letuz knew that Seori would stop, or at least he hoped. He really hadn't met a saiyan that wouldn't beat his opponent senseless if he got tired. Letuz staggered up and was now sitting and laughing in hopes that Seori would be okay with the halt in the sparring match.
\OOC: Okay. I'm gettin' tired and running out of muse so I'm good if you want to end the thread. When this is done, I'd be happy with PL gain \

(00C: I'm gettin' tired as is my muse so let's end it here.)
Seori was losing his ki quickly but he was reassured when he felt no opposing force. His blast went right into the ground and he immediately stopped with the constant stream of ki. It felt strange, having no ki being emitted after such a struggle. His hands were tingling but that could have been from blocking punches earlier. Seori was panting and noticed his opponent lying on his back. Seori was a bit concerned but didn't want to show it since he'd finally, possibly, made a friend.
Seori descended and was a bit surprised when his adversary had said, "I think...I think we can take a break now!" Seori grinned and in agreement said, "I agree. I'll be here tomorrow if you'd like to train. Thanks for the great sparring session!" Seori laughed trying to act a bit less uptight but he always felt rigid after and during fights. Maybe the extra training would be a good thing. Especially if it meant some more control on his attacks.
Seori found himself lost in thought as he turned to leave. This guy wasn't quite as strong but this fight was somewhat enjoyable. Maybe tomorrow would be even more fun. Maybe Seori was getting too comfortable but that could just be paranoia talking. Seori didn't bother flying back home because he'd probably run out of ki and end up falling flat on his face, or worse, someone else.
