"Send the transmission now..." came the soft, gravelly voice from behind a tall-backed chair. Rough as sandpaper and harshly unpleasant, the disembodied voice had a faint metallic edge to it, like a steel comb being brushed over sheet metal in the distance. "It appears our illustrious young ruler has dispensed with the pleasantries and finally finished the job"
The voices owner was an Icer by the name of Koriza, whose deeply scarred features remained impassive and cold. He sat now, arms clasped gently, fingers meshed together, in a contemplative manner on the bridge of his expansive space ship.
In place of both arms the Icer was equip with cybernetic limbs, a deep gouged fissure running from a gnash in his forehead down and across the left side of his face, his cloak-like lab garments hiding yet more scars across his body, as well as various implanted pieces of technology. It wasn't to difficult to guess that this man had been victim of some horrific accident. What many wouldn't know is that the cybernetic arms were completely unrelated.
No, Koriza was deformed from birth, having only stumps instead of properly developed arms and a wickedly crooked spine. The technology of the day had allowed this to be nearly fully corrected, and enabled the Icer to live a relatively normal life, which he devoted obsessively to scientific endeavours.
It was just such an endeavour that had brought him in his ship here, out to this miserable corner of the galaxy to seek the approval of the World Trade Organisation's leader and King of planet Kold, Touketsuki Yakedo.
He doubted weather the young Lord would buy into his proposal based on it's scientific merits, unlike his father he seemed wholly uninterested in matters both administrative and mundane, but perhaps he could be convinced by the promise of this projects fruits, which did indeed bare relevance to Suki's current whims.
Koriza was well aware that the field he sought was classified 'Q12' one of the highest levels of Restricted Access. Even his current clearance was one level too low for him to be able to pursue it. Only direct clearance from the highest authority would enable him to begin the project he sought.
"Transmission sent, Sir" said one of the alien scientists at a nearby control panel on the space ships bridge, having just finished typing away at a complex array of keys and switches. "Indeed so. Now we await for young Lord Touketsuki to finish matters on planet Vegeta and return to his ship. I have no doubt he will respond to our hails as soon as he is ready, even in the face of certain... distractions"
Koriza was of course referring to the interesting transmission which even now was being re-broadcast through the galaxy. Had Suki seen it himself yet, or were matters on Vegeta keeping him otherwise occupied? No matter, whatever the case may be, even were he to react immediately the travel distance from Vegeta to Namek would give Suki plenty of time to respond to Koriza's hails... and even without his approval there were always... alternative channels.

((Calling Suki, Aice, and whoever else feels it may concern them, before you get too distracted with more training and stuff XD ))

(Just wondering, perhaps you should make a character called Koriza using the henchmen slot?)

((He wasn't really 'important' enough to be worth making into a proper character. I did ask weather it was necessary, but he is completely non-combat and I didn't plan him to be support either. The idea was that he gets the approval here to do his research, then retreats to his lab and isn't really heard or seen again for years.
It's just a little tie-in with Virion's back story. Koriza is basically the 'founder' of what would eventually result in Virion's creation. So I thought it would be neat to actually make a thread where Koriza gets approval to begin his research, in a way 'grounding' Virion's back story a little more into the world of this RPG.))

Suki sat his ship, resting from the long battle on namek, his pride had taken a minor blow as he had lost cognate thought and consciousness during the struggle. His thoughts raced with the idea that he had almost been pushed to his final form. Although his final form was more than enough to beat any common monkey, the saiyan he fought was but a whelp compared to the King. That fight would push his limits, and that caused a mix of anger, and anxiety. But Suki was not afraid, he would destroy anyone in his path.
'M'lord'
Came a voice from his intercom, it was Gurin, he had been working his rounds and had come across a message from the lead Biologic design crew from sector level Q11. He would often take care of these matters himself, but such an important matter could not be ignored or stamped off. It was the first of its kind since the change in leadership and Gurin was not sure how the Icer lord would respond to something of a less totalitarian style rule.
"What is it Gurin"
He said sharply, not wanting anything to do with the adviser. But Gurin was not backing down simply because suki was in a pissy mood, he pressed on
'Dr. Koriza from quadrant level Q11 has called and requested audience, I can have his ship in here within a few hours, perhaps before our next conquest we can spare a moment.'
Suki considered blowing him off, he had only spoken with Koriza on one other occasion, and it had been a boring one at that. Sitting in on his fathers conference Koriza had been one of the advisers for the science and development division, he was one of the most trusted advisers in his field specializing in medical biology. Suki had not yet learned of such things and so was not interested in the conversation. He did however remember the Icer as being a fairly crazy one, and even noting that such crazy men couldnt possibly hold any sort of mental capacity. But so far he had not the pleasure of speaking with him, and suki smiled.
"Send him Gurin, I will speak with him immediately!"
With that suki turned off the intercom and smiled.
"That way I can fire him personally"
Killing Koriza would get his mind off of the humiliation he had suffered, death always did, and anything that was related to his father, was likely not worth keeping. But all would be told once Koriza arrived.

((hope you don’t mind if I do a slight god-mod on Gurin here, helped make things flow better - but if there’s any objections then I could remove/edit as requested. Also, sorry, I kinda ended up fluffing about alot in this post... :X just hinting at some of the back story and personality of Koriza. If you want a TL;DR version I'll stick it at the bottom)) The response came through, and co-ordinates for the meeting sent. It appeared as though Touketsuki wished to have this discussion in person, directly aboard his own ship. And why should he not, this is a very important matter, befitting a face-to-face meeting. Its possible information about the nature of my request has already been leaked to the young emperor… a promising sign… perhaps.
Koriza mulled over these thoughts darkly, shuffling slowly from the control room towards the pod bay. The elderly Arcosian doubted his initial assessment however. The young Touketsuki was never much for the administrative side of affairs, never much for public affairs in general. Even if word had been sent it’ seemed doubtful to Koriza that the emperor would have paid it any attention.
Perhaps the attack on the saiyan home world had simply left him in a good mood. Their transmission logs indicate another success after all, not that it was expected to turn out otherwise.
---- The ship approached along a tangential trajectory. Already in a nearby star-system Koriza’s vessel had quickly closed the gap and the transfer pod came in for landing within the royal hangar, the larger research vessel flying in parallel at a respectful distance from Touketsuki’s mothership.
Within the hangar a group of aliens from suki’s docking crew rushed towards the small pods, connecting long cables and completing other such standard docking procedures.
Greeted by a squad leader, Koriza and his three subordinates were escorted towards the quarters where Suki presently resided. As they rounded along a stretching corridor they entered a control room, the alien solider who had lead the way turned and stood as a sentry at the doorway. ---
Gurin stood at one end of the room, busying himself with some task and directing one of the crewmen at a screen. He looked up sharply as Koriza entered, though the scientist’s passage was not what had caught his attention. Rather it was his two ‘body guards’. Turning his head slightly Gurin’s gaze meet Koriza’s.
“Councillor” rasped the elderly Icer, inclining his hand slightly under the pretence of a respectful bow. There was a calculating gleam to his features, his appearance somewhat sinister as the shadows welled in his coarse, scarred face. Though his intent was unreadable, the Arcosian gave off the discerning impression that he was dissecting you with his eyes, an unforgiving quality he had always extruded even from a young age.
To Koriza’s left stood a second scientist, in his own Kold-style lab-coat like Koriza’s, though lacking the cybernetic filler. He had purple skin, dark lips and rings around his eye sockets, with spikey protrusions along his forearms and head((read: The same race as dodoria, but slim, small and purple )). He stared intently at a PDA device in his hand, and occasionally cast nervous glances towards Koriza and the two sentinels which stood behind them.
These sentinels were tall, imposing figures. Each wore black versions of the same style outfit worn by Koriza and his subordinate, common among World trade scientific divisions ((for reference, ‘WTO scientist’ style outfits are stuff like or in this case I’m thinking open at the front like ). As Gurin eyed them suspiciously he examined each in turn. Both were covered from head to toe, their tight-fitted body suits and black battle-armour visible through the parting in their robes, even going so far as to have their faces hidden behind blank metallic masks, spade-like in their complete lack of features or even eye holes.
More notable to the namekian however was that from both he felt an incredibly intense aura. He could tell right away from their shear power that they were both Arcosians, and fully unsuppressed at that(if he didn’t know better he’d have thought they were prepared for battle), and yet something about their energy seemed to burn overbright. There was almost intangible hint of instability which would rear it’s head every few moments, like a spinning top tittering on the brink of collapse.
Apparently picking up on Gurin’s thought process, Koriza half-smiled, his faintly metallic voice projecting quite clearly through the open room “No need for concern councillor, I assure you their lack of restraint is… a medical condition” he let out a single dry chuckle at this, as if it were some kind of personal joke, before concluding simply; “They won’t be causing any trouble”.
Gurin however continued to eye them off. Their shoulder guards were brown and utilitarian, their shin and wrist guards unadorned and even the jewel-like part on their head covered by another of these brown armour-pieces. It seemed to Gurin that some effort had gone into ‘dehumanising’(deicertising?) these beings. Maybe as a means of intimidation? …Or perhaps something darker.
Most unusually for an Icer in their truest form, large crown-like spikes seemed to jut from their heads; one sporting four which arched backward from the front ((think 5th form Cooler… not doing so great on descriptions tonight XD)), while the second, although similar, appeared to have the two upper most spikes shifted to the back of his head, curling down to nearly touch his shoulders.
They did not appear to be the same as the horns touketsuki sported in his suppressed forms. Were they part of some kind of helmet perhaps?
As Gurin watched them cross the room, Koriza’s mechanical limbs let out a quiet whir with every movement. Gurin saw the second scientist leaning in close to his leader, motioning towards something on his PDA as a nervous bead of sweat developed on his purple-skinned forehead.
Koriza brushed him away but the alien persisted. Though the man whispered, Gurin’s sharp ears were able to pick out his words without much trouble. “Sir, it’s going to happen at any moment now, subject B13 is simply too far gone. Look, his vitals are destabilising at an alarmingly increased rate, just like all the others before him. and it's only a matter of time before B14...-”
Koriza’s eyes continued to stare forward, but he stopped mid stride and addressed his concerned subordinate under his breath “The entire series has been a failure. If I do not secure the clearance I need here then B13’s eminent expiration will be the least of our issues...” ---
He stood before the doorway now which would afford him access to Touketsuki’s chamber. The door however did not open at his approach, the two guards remaining unmoved and eyes forward as if oblivious to Koriza’s presence directly between them. They did however appear slightly intimidated by Koriza’s own two body guards, who stood over-shadowing the soldiers at two paces distance.
The Arcosian scientist waited impassively, statue still and showing no hint of even acknowledging that his intentions were anything other than staying exactly where he stood. Only his purple-skinned subordinate appeared phased by the hold up, looking around enquiringly in regards to the unopened door.
Gurin’s voice drifted over after a drawn out pause, and though it remained civil there was a decidedly firm note to its delivery “I’m afraid the summons was authorised for you alone, Chief-Advisory Koriza. Your entourage will have to either remain here or return to your ship.” A smile twitched onto Koriza’s face but he continued to remain unmoved, back turned towards where Gurin stood. “I question the need for such an escort in the first place…” the namekian added in an offhand manner, his eyes narrowing before he returned his attention to the monitor and evidently whatever activity he had been seeing to in the first place.
The comment hang in the air for half a moment before Koriza responded, turning on his heel with a wan smile on his features “I assure you there were merely here for… demonstrational purposes during my upcoming discussion. Indeed their presence will not be entirely necessary beyond this point, if that is your wish.”
Gurin showed the outward appearance of ignoring Koriza’s reply, but when the Icer dismissed the three and directed them to return to the hangar, the namekian gave a brief nod to the two doormen, who turned in unison in what was evidently a high practised and disciplined manoeuvre, saluting smartly. In a subtle movement the one on the left hit a hidden button on the wall at his side, and the doorway gently slid open with a gentle hiss.
Koriza walled to the end of the small corridor, a second door opening in response to his proximity. He entered into Emperor Touketsuki’s presence, bowing low.--------------- ((TL;DR - Koriza arrives, had some body guards, mooched on past Gurin, body guards weren't allowed through into Suki's presence so he ditched them. He's now bowing before Suki.))
