Sunlight flitted through the soft curtains of Amaranth's new room. The sun had rose not long before, the sky still bright with soft pinks and peaches of morning. Her eyes opened, two blue orbs surrounded by long, dark lashes. She lay absolutely still, waiting for feeling to return to her body, and for the disorientating dizziness to subside. Things had changed lately in the world of her dreams. No longer did she sit under the bone tree in the field, Blake ready to make any comment he could. No. She was in what she could only call the dry lands now. And endless plain of dirt and dust with nothing for miles.
As feeling returned, Amaranth once again felt the ache in her legs. Not from any training she did the day before, or actually anything she did in her waking days. She felt like she had been walking for years instead of one night's worth, though she had not left the bed. With a soft sigh, Amaranth propped herself up and grabbed the water bottle off her night stand. And other thing she noticed was that she was always thirsty after these dreams. For the air was hot and stale, no moister to be found. And though Amaranth knew this was only a dream, it didn't feel like it.
She gulped down the cool liquid in minutes, breathing deeply before slowly sliding her body out of her nice, comfy bed. She knew that she'd feel fine soon enough, but it was always the moments after waking that seemed the most trying. Amaranth would usually have gone back to sleep, if not for fear of waking in the dry lands or under the bone tree again.
She took slow steps to her dresser, peeling off her thin tank top and shorts that she wore as night clothes. She changed as quick as she could. Her body was now clothes in an olive green tank top that hugged her chest, then flared out ever so slightly underneith, the ends reaching her mid-thighs were jean shorts poked out. Amaranth had to admit it, shorts were her favorite Earthen clothing yet. With another sigh, she pulled on her zip-up, ankle-high black boots and made her way to the mirror.
It was what she saw in it that woke her the rest of the way. Staring back was her own reflection, though where her eyes had always been a startlingly bright shade of blue, they had changed. Silver lined them, giving an almost unnatural glow to the blue.
"What in the world?" she whispered, blinking. But, just as suddenly as the color had appeared, it left, leaving behind only a slight feeling of unease. Must have just been a trick of the light. That's all.. With a soft shiver, Amaranth ran a quick brush through her long hair and tail and slipped quietly out of her room. She did not yet know the sleeping habits of the others that occupied this school, so she remained as quiet as she could heading to the kitchens to begin breakfest.

He'd done it! C.haos had finally locked on to her power signature. With a grin on his face, he patted his "brethren" android on the back, "We've got Her, Souka." he told him vaguely, rising into the air. Though C.haos had told Souka little about Ammy, he was sure the boy's curiosity would over take him and he would follow.
He faced the direction she was, and took off like a shot, but at the same time masking his own power level. He knew that with the element of surprise, he could win this time without a doubt, and perhaps this time absorb her.
It took nearly an hour to reach her, and as C.haos neared her power signature, he dropped to the ground. She was at a school of some kind, and C.haos could feel the powers of a few others nearby. Nothing to be worried about. He crouched low to the ground and edged towards the thick brush near a door, hoping to catch her exiting the building. Then it was time to wait.
It was easy to see that C.haos was excited; and his brother may note that he might even be nervous. As he sat in wait, his fingers gently drummed against his tail, and he continuously licked his lips. This was a very different behavior for C.haos; and that was painfully obvious even to himself. But he was ready for a fight, and this time he would win, or die trying.

Watching his brother take off in a mad dash, Souka wondered where he could be going at a time like this, especially when they had not planned much for the day or the future. He ran after his brother and noticed that C.haos had disappeared on him, fortunately Souka thought to follow the exact flight path that C.haos had decided to take rather than stray from. Without knowledge of this flight path, he felt he would have gotten stranded, but as he ran along he felt it was unbecoming of him to see his brother in this way. That is, someone who was deliberately sneaking around and leaving him behind.
He managed to catch up though and as he dropped down from tall mountain boulder he descended towards the earth and landed next to C.haos. He remembered him having said, "We've got Her, Souka." But to him that made no logical sense to him. "Who was her?" He pondered as he looked out over the area C.haos was observing. He noticed his brother had caused them to land in front of a school, some kind of high school and that his tail was flickering about as though he was impatiently waiting for someone to show up, the girl he mentioned. Whoever she was, she must not have been pretty strong if C.haos meant to look for her at a high school. If she was, then how could a high school student threaten a robot?
For a moment he pondered this and then an image of a brown haired girl from his class popped into his head. His lips parted and he croaked the words, "Shina..." wondering as he did why he was. He knew no person by this name and certainly was not interested in staying around here to go after C.haos's quarry.
He put his hand on C.haos's shoulder and said, "I hate to break this to you, but if we plan to attack a school than that is going to be quite stupid. I do not know who you are after here, but the military will end up almost instantly informed of our presence even if we do not start using our energy based techniques."

The school was so very quiet, smaller almost. After Serori left them, and Caius what doing only the Gods know what, the school had become so much quieter. It seemed almost surreal in a way. With the early morning sun streaming through the windows, warming her cold skin, Amaranth found herself going a different way. Away from the kitchens that Caius always so thoughtfully stocked with food he got from his portals that connected to places she didn't care to wonder about. Down a different path Amaranth walked. She needed to breath, get a breath a fresh air.
Her legs still ached slightly from her dream, and her head was still fulled with thoughts of it, and the goodbyes she would soon have to give. She would leave at sundown tonight and arrive on Nor thirteen hours later. She was nervous, both about the goodbyes and returning home. She would miss the people she had met here, dearly so. Well, not all of them. Some, like that android she had fought so long ago, she could do without.
But there was also the return home that made her nervous. She hadn't talked to her family face-to-face since she left. And though she was surprised by the fact, Amaranth had changed. She couldn't quite place how, but she was. And she needed answers. Answers that she knew could come from only one person who lived in a small cabin not too many miles from her home.
Opening the doors, Amaranth stepped outside and sighed, closing her eyes. She was determined to enjoy her last day on Earth.

As his brother placed a hand on his shoulder, he shook it off; C.haos always had a problem with being touched. "We are not facing the whole school, Souka; even though I am sure I could take on nearly all them at the same time..." He edged closer to the bush, attempting to get a better view. "We are going after. Person of interest. I have fought her before, and she is very strong." He shuddered at the admittance of her strength.
"She defeated me. Humiliated me. I will make her pay for it." There was more rage in his eyes than one could imagine; but only for a second. Quickly recuperated himself, he looked Souka dead in the eye, "Worst of all, Brother... I believe she is the one who attacked our creator and you," he lied. That was one of the reasons C.haos was so good at manipulating Souka. He was truly a great liar.
Just then, the blond girl C.haos despised so much stepped out of the school. She looked much the same as when their passed crossed the first time, and this brought rage back into C.haos's eyes. "I want you to have first go at her, Brother. I want you to make her pay for what she did to you and the creator. You must avenge him." he told him in a calm, hushed voice. C.haos's glance flicked from the girl, to Souka and back; as he watched what the boy android would do. Had he convinced him?

Mercenary Dynammo was floating in the air, far above the Crane school. The Triclops was in deep meditation, centering his power and causing it to grow within himself. Suddenly his senses felt a power that was close to his own in strength. Using his guru senses, he felt the power to be a combination of various energies. The discipline of a namek, the tyrant nature of the icerians and the battle lust proud saiyans. He also felt the energy of a girl, high in power as well as pure of heart
Magnum Crusher D frowned. “That girl has power hidden away, I could just do nothing, but something tells me I should get involved.” He then drew his Vibranium Sword with his right hand pulling it out of the sheath by holding and lifting the hilt.
As the Vibranium Sword was fully out, the chain turned black and wrapped around the Mercenary Triclop’s right arm to about an inch from his shoulder.
Now ready to teach this vile pool of chemicals not to bother pure hearted souls, he shot down from the sky towards this energy. He then quickly raised his left hand to his forehead and pressed a button on his scouter to read and consistently guage the battle fighting power of this creature.
After doing this while shooting down, Dynammo gathered energy into his sword and pulled his right arm back. The flaming blue energy in the chains now being channeled into the sword.
As he came down, he used his hidden zanzoken movement ability not only to superiorly gauge his speed with super sonic bursts but also to move so fast, that an afterimage came down, which would go right through C.haos. Within a nanosecond, The Triclops Mercenary would appear infront of the creature, slashing upwards towards his lower and upper torso; discharging a wave of blue energy from the slash of his sword.

((Uhhh... Dude... You wouldn't be able to sense C.haos's energy. He can mask it to nothing. I would also suggest that if you need to fight, not to attack head on like that. C.haos is not alone. ))

Before Souka could even move or respond he felt something fast move towards C.haos, unfortunately, it was moving so fast he could barely move to protect his brother. He just raised his hand and uttered, "Look out-"
Time seemed to slow for Souka, as he willed himself to attempt to protect C.haos, he charged a ball of ki to blast the assailant or attack aside. The sensors in his body hardly recognized what was trying to strike C.haos's body. Some kind of blurry image appeared within C.haos's personal as it nearly dropped on top of him from above. Souka had managed to make a small sphere of ki within a split second, but nothing formidable enough to take off more than a finger. He fired it and hoped that it hit the image rather than the C.haos. He considered this thing to be the source of the woe he saw before him and felt if he could hit it that whatever was there would go away. C.haos would be okay if he could hit his mark. The problem was though that he felt his energy blast was going too slow, much too slow.
