Masu, The Great Escape

Masu sat in his little hut, now having increased his power he found very little competition. It seemed everyone knew what he was capable of and stayed clear of him, providing him zero opportunities to have fun. Of course he could battle himself...but where would the fun be in that? He couldn’t kill...he wanted to kill… He wanted to destroy. And this world was not cutting it for him anymore.

Masu had to get out of this world he had to escape. He had to leave this place behind and seek out better competition. But how…how was he going to leave this place…He had to find a way. Just as he was about to get up and go in search of a way, a small, wrinkly old demon stood in front of his hutt. Masu’s red irises looked up at the demon and spoke.

“What do you want…”[/b]

The old demon simply grinned, most of his teeth were gone and only a few scraggly ones remained. However Masu could tell that the demon was highly experienced by the way he spoke.

“Hello young demon…I have watched you for quite some time. You have quite the ability there, and your power increases considerably because of that…I like that. You hold an ability that many demons would loathe to have…”

Masu continued to stare at him with his beady eyes; Masu wasn’t very interested in this old demon. And he let him know that.

“Your telling me something I already know old man. Unless you have something for me I suggest you leave before I get angry.”[/b]

The old demon simply grinned that toothless grin once more before responding with something that would definitely get the attention of the majin.

“Oh but my dear, I have the means to do what you so utmost desire...An escape from this place...Ah yes I can see by your face that I have got your attention. Yes, I have within my power figured out a way one can leave this place of sorrow and darkness…But I need someone to test it out first…I need someone with considerable power to test it...that is where you come in…

Masu’s facial expression had indeed changed; the old demon’s response had made him quite interested. Masu indeed want’s to leave…This old demon could help me In that way.. Masu grinned; this was the best news he could have gotten. Exiting his hut, he stood next to the demon. Much taller than the aged demon, Masu spoke once more.

“So, what must I do to leave this wretched place…The sooner the better old man..."[/b]

The old man smiled once more before speaking and walking away, intending for the black majin to follow. As they walked, the old demon talked.

“Yes, for the past few decades I have been constructing a machine… A machine that could open up a portal to a whole other universe or planet…So far the machine is complete and the only thing I need is a power source big enough that can make it run. I believe I have found that power source in you…now come follow me to my lair, we have much to discuss before we do this.”

Masu didn’t say another word as he followed the small demon all the way back to his lair. Masu was ready; he was ready to finally get out of this forsaken place.

Once there, Masu gazed upon the giant construction. Its center was empty; it looked like a massive ring. Masu only thought that the portal would open up in the middle somehow. He wasn’t going to bother with the technical, he just wanted out. So Masu sat down and waited, as the small demon seemed to make sure everything was in check. Finally, after what seemed like hours, the old demon looked at Masu with his toothy grin and spoke.

“It’s ready..the only thing you have to do is grab hold of those handles over there and power up…use the full extent of your power and the portal should open…for how long I am not sure, but it should be long enough for you to get through. Now come, theirs no time to waste.”

Masu got up, and did was he was told. Grabbing the silver metallic handles he started to power up. Anything that wasn’t thoroughly tied down started to flutter around as the power from Masu started to create a little wind. The more he powered up, the stronger the wind got. Soon…what both of the demons had wanted to happen started to happen...A small blue portal started to flicker in and out in the ring…

“Yes…Yes…It’s working…after all these years…It’s working!! Keep Pushing Masu!!! We’re almost here!!!"

Masu smiled as he too saw the portal start to work, of course he didn’t need anyone to tell him to power up more. He wanted to leave this place more than anyone, and so he continued to raise his power level. When it finally maxed out, the portal flickered some more before finally stabilizing into a good portal. The old demon raised his arms in triumph. Telling Masu he could let go of the handles now and power down if necessary. Masu did so and then stared at the portal, his facial expression then changed as he saw it dwindle in size. The old demon then quickly stated why.

“Yes, if we don’t hurry the portal will close and I’m not sure if it will open up again. So let’s hurry up and get into the portal before it closes. Theirs no telling how long that will be.”

As Masu started to enter the portal, he was blasted by an energy attack from the old demon, forcing him to crash into the nearby wall. Masu, furious looked at the old demon and spoke.

”AGHH WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?!?"[/b]

The old demon smiled as he spoke.

”Well I’m not quite sure if the portal can take two people...it might disperse after the firs tone enters and I want that to be me...I have waited too long for this moment. I will enter it first…and you won’t be in my way when I do."

Masu’s face turned into an angry one as he stood up, starting to power up once more. He wasn’t going to let that little demon go first and break his only way out of the demon area. No, he was going to make sure he was the first one, if not the only one going through.

“I’m not going to take that chance. So either step aside or die its your choice.”[/b]

As Masu waited, he watched as the old demon smiled and then started to charge yet another ki blast. His eyes flickered toward the portal that was now a third smaller than it was when it was first up. Masu had to be fast or otherwise he would be stuck in the demon realm for even longer…he didn’t want that.

Masu eyes then focused back on his now enemy as he released an energy ball. Masu brought both of his arms up to block it, after the small explosion Masu dashed forward toward the small demon, charging a ki bal in his hand he would release it when he got close enough to the small demon. The small demon had good speed and easily dodged the ki ball, it exploding in a small area. Masu grunted, if they keep up their energy attacks they should destroy the machine entirely...Masu would not let that happen and so they engaged into a melee scuffle.

Masu would have the advantage, what with having the longer reach and his ability to be very flexible. The battle was short, Masu had proved to be the better fighter and had successfully used his elongated body to wrap around the small demon and hold him in his grasp. Masu smiled as he started to use his body strength to crush the demon like an anaconda would do. While the small demon grunted and struggled against Masu’s strength, Masu grinned devilishly and spoke.

“It looks like I have all but won. Any last words puny demon?”[/b]

The old aged demon simply grinned that toothless grin once more before trying to speak.

“Yea…I hope you enjoy your longer stay here in the demon realm.”

The small demon then looked at the dwindling portal, and eye beams shot from his eyes and connected with the machine, exploding upon impact. When the smoke cleared, the portal was gone and the only thing that remained was a mass jumble of metal. Upon seeing this Masu’s face went from devilishly happy to incredibly angry. Masu turned and looked ate the small demon and as Masu screamed, he increased his intense body hold and crushed the demon’s body. It was so loud, that bones crunching could be heard. When then last breath left the small demon, Masu let the now mangled demon go and walked in awe and anger toward the now dismantled machine.

And I just can't keep living this way
So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage

I've had enough, now I'm so fed up

Masu dropped to his knees and stared at the rubble…his escape...his exit...his leave…it was all gone now... Masu’s awe turned to anger as his pores poured forth smoke. It was then that he let loose a monstrous howl, so loud that it not only rocked the area around the lair, but it also did something he had not expected it to do...It created another portal. The portal was much smaller in size, however it was still a portal. Masu cocked his head as he looked at it, was it a new portal? Did it work the same? He watched as it also dwindled in size, Masu freaked out. This was it...it was time. Masu slimed himself using his body’s flexibility and flew into the portal. It closed behind him, finally…Masu was out of the demon realm...but where would he end up?

Okay quit playing with the scissors and shit, and cut the crap

It’s high time that I got my ass out of this place, gotta get a new map
I gotta unleash the beast, see to it that it won’t be ceased
