Deciding to make some cash, Ethar decided to get off of his Hybrid butt, and get a part time job. But what was he going to do? He did not have a clue. "Hmm" He said to himself as his mind's gears started to turn.
"Thats it!" He said, as an idea. He could work for the industry of Namek, and luckily for him, there was a large village in walking distance of where he was now. So without a moments hesitation, Ethar started to walk until the Village was in sight.
It wasnt too long before he saw the houses and buildings in the distance, as the young man broke out into a run. The village got closer and closer until he actually stood beside the first building. He saw Namekians, young and old going about their business until he heard a voice "Ah darn it all, Stupid apprentice made such a mess..." it said, as Ethar saw it as an opportunity for some cash.
Before anything else was said, he rushed towards the voice, and saw an older Namekian, and one heck of a mess of crates. "Do you need some help?" He asked, as the Namekian looked up to Ethar and smiled. "Oh yes young man, thank you. My no good, lazy helper skipped work today, and did a horrible job of stalking up these crates earlier. Now I have to clean it all back up, but Ill pay you if you help, and do it for me. I cant handle customers and do this at the same time." He said, as Ethar knew he was right. A good chance to make decent cash for a good amount of work.
"Sure thing, I just happened to be in the market for a job anyways. Ill get right on it." He said, as he ran over, and grabbed a heavy looking crate from the Namekian. It indeed have some weight to it, but nothing that couldnt be handled. "Oh thank you so much, Be careful." he said, watching Ethar take the crate from him, as the young man stacked it on the base of the first row of crates. He then left Ethar to the job, as he went back into the nearby building to take care of customers that would come and go.
"Woof, theres are heavier then I thought they would be." He said to himself, as he moved over to another nearby crate, grabbed it and picked it up using his legs. "Rrrr." He said, holding the crate in his arms as he placed it evenly besides the other one.
Lifting such heavy crates was going make him exhausted. He could only wonder how the store keeper could do it, or even the lazy assistant that decided to skip work. After giving himself a breather break, he grabbed another crate, as it felt a bit heavier then the first two. "What in the name of Dragonballs is in here?" He asked, as he placed the crate next to the others.
With that row completed, he sighed to himself as he had a few crates left to go, though they were heavy looking, and much to his dismay, he was right. For when he grabbed the next one, it felt very heavy. "Damn it." He grunted, as he threw the crate up onto the new row, but made sure it made the toss. He positioned the crate so it wasnt a half assed job.
It took some time, and alot of energy to finish the job, but when he was done, Ethar was covered in sweat, and was exhausted. The stack was rows and rows above from where he started, but it was stacked very well, and couldnt fall over. Panting a bit, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned to see the shop keeper amazed that the job was done. "Well done young man! Thats a fine stack of crates ya got there. I used to be as tough as you, but then I took an arrow the knee." He said.
But that confused Ethar. "Arrow? Doesnt he regenerate?" He thought to himself, thinking the shopkeeper as nutty, but the Namekian held out a little bag of Zenie for him and handed it to Ethar. "Thank ya, Im glad I could help." He said with a smile as he was now richer then he was before, closer to what he was saving for.
