Komatsuna-Makaio took in a deep breath. Or, at least he think he did. This new fleshy body was different than his mechanical parts. He still retained few of them, but they seemed wholly inaccessible. He looked down at his hands, flexing them; they seemed to work like normal. Shrugging, he pulled a rice farmer's hat that had materialised on his back during his transmutation. He spun around the pointed weave over his fingers. He liked the style. And it matched his current wear, which appeared to be classic samurai robes. Not the full body armor; that would have been hard to carry through space-time.
He donned the hat, looking around him. Everything seemed empty, like there was no one. He had been gone a while, had Vegeta been destroyed, abandoned, forgotten? He doubted this, as all the buildings remained up. However, things did seem strange...
Komatsuna bowed his head, left hand holding the sheathe to his katana, the right on the hilt. There was something uneasy going on, and he wasn't about to be caught off guard.

The figure of a demonic young woman, known as Talmyr only to herself, casually strolled down the streets of Saru City in the middle of the night. An amused smirk sat prominently on her face. She had been walking for a while, and had come from a local tavern. This evening had proven to be quite entertaining, as her prank for the night had gone off without a hitch.
It wasn’t her fault that one of the patrons had been such a messy eater. He had been digging into a large bowl filled with biscuits and had been so careless that he didn’t realize one or two of them had fallen from the bowl. All Talmyr had to do was nonchalantly walk by the table while nobody was looking and, in one quick motion, bat one of the fallen biscuits into the face of another nearby patron. One pawn thought the guy with the biscuits was trying to pick a fight with him. The other pawn thought someone was trying to steal his food. Surely enough, a brawl immediately erupted and Talmyr had taken her chance to slip away while everyone was distracted.
Talmyr snickered to herself as she continued to walk. These Saiyans always made it far too easy for the wool to be pulled over their eyes. It was all a bit or harmless fun, really. Well, maybe not for whoever took the worst of the beatings. Hell, Talmyr might have even felt a little bad for them if they didn’t basically do it to themselves. Perhaps next time she would order a drink or two before starting the festivities. She kept meaning to do that. Oh well…
Suddenly, the young woman stopped in her tracks and raised an eyebrow. There was a figure ahead standing in the middle of the street. Her eyes glanced up at the night sky. Odd, most Saiyans were inside by now because of their weird transformation thing. With a shrug of her shoulder, she began to proceed a bit more cautiously.
As the demon drew closer, something about this guy snagged her curiosity. He was dressed awfully funny, and she couldn’t see a tail anywhere on him. Was he hiding it? Most of the Saiyans she had seen kept their tails out in the open. Perhaps this guy wasn’t a Saiyan at all. There was something different about his presence compared to most of this planet’s inhabitants.
”You don’t see many non-Saiyans around here,” Talmyr remarked as she drew closer to the man. Normally she would have either hid, or kept her mouth shut and kept going. Then again, she didn’t normally encounter anyone who wasn’t a native of this planet. What was the harm in speaking up? If this little conversation went sour and took a turn for the worse, she could always duck behind a building and use her Shadow Leap technique to warp herself back to her cave. ”So, what’s your story?”

The Robes Komatsuna is wearingKomatsuna had been standing still, listening to sounds. Sounds! They seemed almost new to him, his senses, after having been gone for five years. It was all he could do to notice the red/pink haired demon approaching him. He took a deep whiff, wonderingly. Had there always been these sort of smells on Vegeta? The Vegetean moon hung full in the sky, sending cascades of white light down into the city. He knew that this would be why the Saiyans were inside, not a single one outdoors. It would simply not do to have a giant monkey running around the Saiyan capital city. In the mean time, Komatsuna had turned around to face the building he had appeared in front of. He knew this street well, all the buildings, and used to know most of the people. This was his old home, where he had been built, "grew up", and just down the street, met the love of his life... Finally the demon girl was close enough that Komatsuna could speak to her without having to shout too loudly. "Good evening, m'lady. You are out rather late, don't you think? Dead of night, a gorgeous woman like you could get hurt." Komatsuna called to her, while almost at the same time, she had begun speaking. ”You don’t see many non-Saiyans around here,” Talmyr remarked as she drew closer to the makaio-cyborg. Komatsuna smiled at her, and answered her question following. "Well, my story...its a rather long one, consisting of a Sayain I fell in love with, the Dictator Emperor Touketsuki Yakedo, two Makaioshin, and myself. I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear the full thing, its rather droll, so I'll stick with the short. I was an android, built to service my creator as a son, here on Vegeta. I fell in love, we split apart, I went to get stronger. Five years ago, a Makaioshin by the name of Caius sent me through a portal to Other World, where I sat until yesterday. I was met by a second Makaioshin, who granted me power, and a new body, and brought me back to Vegeta. It would appear that you are also a Makaioshin," He gestured to her horns, and tail. "It seems I just can't get away from them."

Talmyr chuckled lightly. ”My, my… you’re quite the flatterer, aren’t you?” she remarked at his words. It was actually kind of cute, but didn’t really mean all that much to her. ”It’s possible that I could get hurt wandering around in the middle of the night. At the same time, it’s also possible that small, woodland creatures could pop out of a portal that appeared on the side of the street, piling out in such large numbers that the city would be hopelessly buried in them.”
Witty reply aside, Talmyr crossed her arms over her chest as she listened to the story that came out of the man’s mouth. It sounded like it was heavy stuff. At the same time, it also sounded annoyingly complicated. Talmyr supposed that it was nice leading such a simple life like the one that she led. All she had to worry about was her continual training, ducking out of the occasional brawl she started, and maybe one day getting off of this planet.
”A flatterer and a sharp one, huh?” she chuckled again in response to him pointing out the fact the she was a Makaioshin. She knew there was something vaguely familiar about his presence. He was a Makaioshin as well, she just hadn’t picked up on it until he had told his story. ”Hmm, how long has it been since I’ve seen another Makaioshin? It’s been ages…” Talmyr mused to herself.
The young woman uncrossed her arms and ran a couple of gloved fingers through her curly, red hair. ”You see, I escaped from the Demon Realm when I was just a wee child. I’ve been on Vegeta ever since.” She took a deep breath. Talmyr’s lips curved into a smile, and a bit of sarcasm had entered her tone when she continued. ”I would ask you how the Demon Realm is doing, but I won’t bother since it sounds like you wouldn’t know. It’s probably still dark, dreary, and smelly anyway…”

"Buried in woodland creatures? I don't know, things could be worse off."
Had Komatsuna's mind not been on another girl, he probably would have noticed that this demon girl was attractive. And she seemed nice enough. Her power was about on par with his...a good training partner...
Her next remark made him laugh.
"Demon realm? Please. I was stuck in a sort of limbo, some planet between heaven and hell. I've never been to the demon realm, and don't plan on doing so any time soon." He looked at her for a second. "Please excuse my rudeness, I just hated it there. The demon realm, however nightmarish, would have been a great improvement over the single tree and grass that was all I had."
His new body had also come with a twisted personality. He knew that it was he who was talking, and yet, he was saying things that he normally wouldn't say. If this was the price to pay for power, though, who was he to argue.
"But I digress." He looked around, noting the dark buildings, open sky, full moon. There was a light wind, sending a chill down his back. A perfect night for a spar. "Why don't we take a nice walk, instead of standing here, looking like a couple of bafoons." Komatsuna would await her response, and whether or not she accepted, would begin walking left, in the middle of the road between the houses.
