Erixnox and Tsuken faced off for the second time, in their first battle, Tsuken had reigned victorious. . .would this be a repeat, or would Ericnox win the day?
[After the coin flip, Ericnox has been chosen by the fates to post first.]

Ericnox landed in the arena. He didn't expect to win at all. This child was much stronger than he was in his base form, and in his Golden Heart, he had a small edge over him. As long as the father didn't step into the path once more, he might be able to pull off a win... Maybe...
Taking in a slow breath, his eyes locked on the child that stood before him, a smile on his face. "Hello there again young one. Shall we do this with honor like last time? Hopefully I don't lose control and make your father need to step in, I'm glad he is alright."
He floated into the air, lifting a few feet off the ground and quickly powering up, his wings taking a gold tint to them as he pushed himself into the Golden Heart, his eyes locked upon the child as he got a bit higher into the air. The child was able to fly, or if nothing else, jump very, very high. "Ready when you are!"

Tsuken Hiruen looked from left to right nervously, the crowd was absolutely exploding in anticipation, impatiently waiting for the fight to begin between the son of Rensou Hiruen and this unknown alien. Finally, Tsuken stared dead ahead, this was the man his father had restrained him against, this was the man that had punched his father as he moved to defend him, and this was the man that stood before he and glory! Like the sire, the son craved the idea of recognition at a level that originated in his blood but surpassed it with the Hiruen drive. The youngster slid into a combative stance, an absolute replica of Rensou's own: the lead right foot forward, the anchor directly beneath him and the knee bent to slightly angle the leg. The right arm hung dangerously low, but it was fully prepared to launch crushing body shots. The left was cocked to throw a devastating hook or straight at the slightest opportunity. “ Hello there, young one~” the winged fighter began, and Tsuken listened as he talked of honorable combat and their previous encounter. He even wished his father well, and Tsuken smiled. Unlike the father, the boy was capable of forgiveness and understanding, a trait inherited from his mother. Perhaps he and Wingy could be friends, but that would be after the battle. For now, they were opponents. . .nothing more and nothing less, and Tsuken would exert the fullest of his ability to defeat Ericnox. Tsuken nodded. “ Hewwo, Wingy. . .” he replied, his purple aura surging around him as Ericnox became a surging thing of gold as he rose into the air, and Tsuken primed himself for defense as the power of the alien surged to a surprising level, but no attack came. The winged warrior merely informed Tsuken he was ready, and the crowd began to cry for action. The young one was stirred by their lust for battle, and his own increased accordingly. In an instant, he summoned his single sphere. “ . . .wet's do 'dis! ! !” roared the boy as he jumped into the air and launched himself towards the enemy with Bukujutsu, his right hand shooting out far too short to actually strike Ericnox as he was still a few meters away, in the area of two. The sphere, however, mirrored his jab and would strike his opponent. Tsuken would continue his attempts to stumble his foe in midair, his left hand throwing an overhand and his right knee lifting upward. The sphere reacted accordingly, moving much faster than the child. . .after the jab, it circled back and swept in from above, and then replicated the diagonal movement of the knee: two attacks toward the head of Ericnox to focus his attentions on defending his face, and then a blow for the torso to hopefully catch him unawares. -------------------- From a private box with a prime view of the proceedings, Rensou Hiruen stood up in his seat and hoped his son would be able to replicate the plan they had decided on before the battle: Tsuken was overpowered, but he would be able to keep up to a moderate extent, he surely would prove a challenge for Ericnox to overcome. His chances of winning the battle by stopping his opponent would be lower than actually knocking him clear of the ring and into the depths of defeat. “ LET'S GO, TSUKEN! SHOW HIM THE POWER OF THE SAIYAN! ! !” the General roared, and his cry could actually be heard over the roar of the crowd as the second clash between Tsuken and Wingy began.

The voice calling out to the boy was no doubt his father, and his eyes narrowed on the child as he rushed up to him. Eric knew he had the advantage in the air. His wings didn't take that much energy, at least compared to most of the things he had seen on this world. When the child reached him, he saw that familiar orb of power the kid liked to use.
The strikes directed towards his face wasn't blocked, but dodged, moving towards the left as the orb came around, hitting him with a glancing blow along the ribs, but this time not breaking any. The child had improved, but this time, Eric wasn't fighting against gravity as well as child. Spinning with the strike, Eric's wings closed tightly, twirling around once and aiming to catch the child with a spinning, closed fisted backhand.
Ericnox felt this was his home turf in a way, being in the air, with the winds wrapped around him as the two clashed. Even if the backhand missed, Ericnox had a plan already forming in his mind, pulling back his hand. The child used a ki orb to strike with, wise, but Eric was going to use an almost point blank ki blast to get some breathing room. When the backhand completed, if it hit or not, Ericnox's wings would reopen, the hand raised to his shoulder with energy already formed in it.
“Eyes up!” He called out, swinging back down and towards the child's chest, aiming to blast him back towards the arena floor with a point blank shot of energy.

The spin was a beautiful maneuver, and with those golden feathers tightly bound around his body, Ericnox was truly a splendid creature in the thick of battle. Those within the stands screamed wildly as the acrobatics began, though Tsuken was hardly as impressed. Certainly, the movement made sense due to the strike the man had received, and it would no doubt amplify the power of the backhand to come. . .but these warriors were in the opening stanza of a second engagement and Tsuken Hiruen meant to win despite the gap and power between them. The Tsurunoha had afforded him space to manage a counterattack, a usage of the sphere which strayed far from his father's own, Rensou typically waited for a prime moment to unleash an unforgiving barrage of attacks from every conceivable angle. Tsuken played the defensive and the offensive simultaneously. Despite his situation as the attacker, Tsuken had space, and as Ericnox came forward with all of his flair accenting his power. . .Tsuken ducked under the backhand, an easily managed reaction for the youngster. He had no momentum in either direction, so he simply coiled his body and pushed himself downward with a minute amount of ki energy. The sweeping arm swept harmlessly overhead, and Tsuken began to set distance between them again: he had made contact with the third strike, and would seek to continue with such attacks. He was halted momentarily as Ericnox revealed what he had been hiding behind his feathers, Tsuken had been moving backwards, an act which allowed him to note the energy blast closing in on his retreating chest. Tsuken was moving backwards too quickly, and in a brief instant he decided he could neither dodge left or right. The attack would be a difficult one to physically react to, but Tsuken managed to dampen the effects with a Kiai. “ RRRRGH! ! !” he exclaimed as the thing battered his upper body and sent him reeling. His movement only amplified the distance he had been hurled and altered his trajectory greatly. Instead of vertically down, Tsuken traveled diagonally whilst he turned his body into a flip and expelled a great burst of energy to halt his descent. The crowd went completely silent. Tsuken Hiruen was levitating a literal foot above the hard floor painted bright red: the floor outside the white tiles of the battle grounds. Tsuken had not seemed to notice, and he smiled at the warrior in the sky as his body tensed and he drew his arms behind him. Vein rippled beneath his skin, his tiny fingers grasping a growing ball of energy as his purple sphere spiraled around the mass and contributed energy with tendrils of shimmering might. “ Pwetty good, Wingy~” chimed the boy. “ Tsuuuu. . .” Tsuken was preparing the signature energy attack of his father's family, but he was doing it much quicker than Rensou ever had at comparable age. His mother, Senja Anana, was capable of such feats before her untimely murder. “ Wuuu. . .” The youngsters inability to speak fluently always replaced the “R” with a “W,” but for all intents and purposes, it never truly mattered. What did matter is Ericnox had given Tsuken Hiruen enough time and space to truly show his opponent what he was capable of. Perhaps it was enough, perhaps not. . .Tsuken was dangerously close to forfeiting the match if his feet moved down but a single foot~

When the child went flying, Eric's eyes remained locked on him, seeing him floating above the ground as he was made him smile a bit. He didn't land outside of the ring. From where he stood, he was noticing he had an advantage, and his own fear was holding him back some. Seeing the child was preparing to attack again, Ericnox moved higher into the sky. If the beam missed it would simply go off into the air.
"Pretty good yourself! Give it everything you got!" He yells down at the young warrior, his eyes locked on him.
Pulling his hands together, he builds up ki rapidly, his goal was to meet this blast head on with his own. He wanted to push this child a bit, give him a good fight to make his father proud if nothing else. He was going to give him an honorable fight this time, not one that forced the father to play his hand.
When the ki blast from Tsuken was fired, he launced his own in return, seeing how powerful this childs blast really was and what he could do now that the pressure was on for something like this.

Wingy was not going to take the bait presented, and Tsuken released a growl from the depths of his lungs with all the pitch of a toddler. . .the youngster was truly annoyed, but anyone whom actually heard the snarl would find it absolutely adorable unless they were entirely daft. The winged fighter had countered with a viable option, but Tsuken had hoped he would attempt a physical assault in an effort to push him to his defeat. Tsuken Hiruen had not put much effort into charging his Tsuruha with that exact scenario in mind. . .he wished for overcommitment on the part of Ericnox so that he might reveal his scheme. If things had went to plan, Tsuken would have abandoned charging his wave and attempted to gain the altitude advantage so that he might batter Wingy to the floor. But the noble fighter had attempted no such thing, instead he was answering blast with blast, and with that in mind, the son of Rensou committed. The dark purple of the sphere began to revolve around his cupped hands at a speed that made it a blur to the eyes of the speechless crowd, the very thing that made the Tsuruha more than a simple energy blast. To understand such a thing, one must understand the ki at a simple level before the complexities of the Tsuruha were revealed. -------------------- “As masters of our ki, my son, we use our understanding of our inner power to project streaking bolts and channeled waves. . .many fighters create something unique, a signature technique, but all are powered from within.” “. . .'den wha' makes da' Tsuwuha unique, papa?” Rensou smiled as he looked downward at Tsuken. “The Tsuruha is powered from the inner as well as the outer, my boy~” -------------------- Simultaneously, Tsuken Hiruen charged his signature from his inner reservoir of energy and amplified the already great power of the wave with contributions to the whirling sphere of Tsurunoha. The Hiruen clan had embedded the heirloom into nearly every technique, and the results showed in the chaotic release of the Tsuruha. Whereas the sphere was a controlled and disciplined means of offense and defense, the blast was a chaotic thing which was incredibly draining and powerful beyond measure. Tsuken extended the sparkling mass before him as the beam of energy Wingy had hurled drew dangerously close and decided the time was ripe to unleash the masterpiece of his family. The boy filled his small lungs with oxygen and issued his battlecry. “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! ! !” The Tsuruha erupted from the youngster and rushed to meet the beam of Ericnox, and Tsuken shoved it forward with confidence despite the difference in power: Ericnox held a somewhat firm advantage in speed and strength, but this boy had an unnatural affinity for charging energy and using it to decimate his opponents when they stepped foot into his realm. At any rate, the beams were milliseconds from colliding. . .perhaps the youngster would educate Wingy, but then again, perhaps his strength was too great. -------------------- Rensou smiled as purple and gold rushed to meet, confident his son was about to shock Ericnox with the family signature.

The two beams crashed together, and Ericnox realized he had indeed made one hell of a mistake. His eyes went wide as he did his best to hold his ground, but something was indeed off with this attack. Gritting his teeth, he knew this could be his down fall if he didn't do everything just right.
“Don't hold anything back!” Ericnox yelled, his eyes remaining locked on the child.
Stage one of his plan was to start allowing himself to slowly lose ground when it came to distance in the air. This would buy him a tiny bit of time to prevent himself from being overtaken by the attack that seemed to something of a signature attack made by this youth. If people on his planet had been this powerful this young, perhaps he wouldn't be here, fighting against this youth a second time. But everything in this universe happened for a reason, and he planned on not breaking that trend at all.
Once he got a bit of distance between them, he rolled to one side, letting the attack pass by him as much as possible, and maintaining a good distance in the air above the arena. He looked down at the child, he would keep firing energy blasts at this range, but Ericnox could do a lot of dodging around, avoiding them up here. Unless he was challenged upon the tiled floor of the main arena, he would remain well in the air, staying on the defensive for now.

A droplet of sweat rolled down youthful features, and Tsuken realized his ploy had been called by pure chance or careful planning. Whichever it was, the outcome was the same, for Wingy was still in midair and was absolutely refusing to engage him so close to a place where a single mistake would cost the boy or the man a sudden loss. The tiny figure was still locked in the same position he had been to fire the beam, and his extended arms rose and fell with each swell of his chest beneath his battle armor. Auburn eyes shined with a flash of light from the suns in the sky beyond Ericnox, and a smile formed across his face.
Tsuken Hiruen reentered the fighting tiles with a short burst of Bukujutsu and set his white boots upon the hard surface with a soft click. The Tsurunoha still idled around him, and he was still catching his breath. . .for all the power of his signature wave, it had cost his energy levels to drop and his heart rate to heighten. Things were just beginning, however, and Tsuken could fight harder and longer than any boy his age and many adults.
With that in mind, it was intelligence he wished to put into play. Despite the fact that his brain was just developed enough to understand the mechanics of the alphabet and literacy, he was still unable to read at only four years old. Thankfully, his Saiyan heritage had blessed him with an incredibly combative mentality that would only improve as he aged. . .a mildly frightening thought.
Rather than rush headlong to meet Ericnox, Tsuken began to approach him with caution for fear of overextending himself and spiraling towards defeat. Sweat still ran from his dark tresses, but his breathing had leveled and his voice was calm, albeit a bit annoyed, as he approached Ericnox so he could begin to piece away at him again with strikes of his sphere.
“Wingy, you's not pwayin'. . .” and if he refused, Tsuken would reengage and start the game anew.

That was the challenge he was waiting for. Ericnox was feeling the strain of fighting already starting to wear on him. He wasn't the most powerful being in the universe by any means really, he wasn't even the strongest on his world, but he knew how to use what he had for long as he could.
Lowering himself to the ground, he pulled his wings back in against his back, the armor of the SSE showing he was quickly catching his breath, a smile upon his lips. This child was a monster, perhaps he could bring the youth back to his home world to help him reclaim it? But that was for another time, another place, not now.
Only after the third breath did he move, and it was sudden. Unlike his other movements, this one was him finally getting on the attacking side of things. In the last battle, Eric had to dance around and play defensive, now he was used to the world, and he could really fight. Kicking off the ground and rushing towards Tsuken, he pulled his left hand back, looking like he was charging a ki blast, but once more it was a feint, moving to strike with a cross hit of his right fist.
If this connected, he would quickly start to combo it. His goal was to knock the child to one side, and using the momentium of the blow, he would spin into a kick to the armor that covered the child's side, the whole goal was to send him out of the ring in one way or the other, or a knock out if it had to happen.

Wingy had engaged in the second chapter in the battle, just as Tsuken Hiruen had wished. Perhaps the will to be the defending warrior was something ingrained into the Hiruen psyche and it was passed down from warrior to warrior, but then again, it was taught from the moment they learned to deal pain and receive it with equal vigor. Ericnox rushed, and Tsuken Hiruen halted and assumed his spread stance to receive him with those joyous doe eyes shining with pleasure and that purple orb crackling with anticipation to create beautiful violence once again! Tsuken watched, ever ready, as Wingy drew back his left hand and the boy set things into motion both mentally and physically the moment his orb spun to his front, attempting to exploit the mistake his opponent had made in the fact he had chosen to unleash a power punch rather than properly set up his assault with something more initiating. And thus, the sphere shot forward to perfectly smash into the chin of Ericnox and turn the tide of this battle once and for all~ The Tsurunoha would strike perfectly, unbalancing the opposing warrior with perfect precision and ample force in the stiff strike. Ericnox would stumble, and blood would cloud the water and the scent would reach Tsuken Hiruen, whom would rush forward against fated foe with the tenacity of a predator and the ability of an attuned destroyer of opposition. Tiny fists would become blurs as the Hiruen child unloaded, swarming the larger and stronger man as his fists became a mass of stinging hornets to further unnerve Ericnox with a string of obliterating jabs, hooks, and overhands that would be punctuated upon by a repeated bashing of his orbs. Tsuken Hiruen would fight like his father, a man whom decided his fights through overwhelming force, speed, and technique in a blend of the aforementioned trio to become absolute victory incarnate. The child would lift the eyes of the foe skyward with the tip of his boot lifting from low to high, and then spit wisdom, “ Watch me, Wingy~” before he righted the field of vision by slashing back downward with the same foot and planting the hell into the forehead. The head and leg would move together, forged into one as it drug downward and raked trauma down the face. Wingy would stumble, and the time to set the teeth against the throat and drain the oxygen from a man whom had thought he could defeat Tsuken Hiruen had arrived. . .battered, bloody, and broken, Ericnox would heave with exhaustion and shudder with pain as the youngster tensed his form with that vicious smile still spread across his face. Ericnox had been measured, marked, and found lacking. “ TSU. . .WU. . .HA! ! !” A quick one, nothing of lethal force, but it would finish this by blasting Ericnox free from the ring and causing the officials to rush in, the announcer declaring the winner by knockout to be Tsuken Hiruen. The crowd would go wild, and the father would rush to the arena and embrace his child. That was what Rensou and Tsuken had wished all this time. -------------------- That was not what happened. Tsuken was simply not close enough in power to Ericnox, and the speed at which the man spoke lies with his fists was too much. The true blow crashed into the orbital bone of the boy, and a small cut manifested just under his eye. Tsuken staggered backwards, and continued as Ericnox became the aggressor and wracked his tiny body with a series of blows that set the tone for what occurred next. Tsuken was lifted from the formerly chaste tiles which were now spattered with droplets of his blood by an uppercut and then he felt something against his side which absolutely robbed him of breath~ ragged and gasping for air, it was not within the boy's processes to realize he had been removed from the ring. His tiny form rolled across the red paint, and a larger figure appeared by the boy and lifted him into his arms. With tears filling his eyes, Tsuken Hiruen gazed into the eyes of his father, “ I sowwy, papa. . .” he groaned. Rensou shook his head. His boy had fought his heart out, and lost as an honorable warrior fighting against greater odds to the final moment, outfought but not outskilled was his tiny child. The announcer entered the ring, took Ericnox by the hand, and lifted it into the air and declared him the man whom would move to the semifinal round. With his unconscious son in draped over one shoulder, Rensou Hiruen stood to attention and brought his forearm over his chest in the Vegetan salute. Ericnox had won fairly, and honorably, and the General thanked the man for it with a show of respect as the crowd roared out their appreciation for the great battle they had just witnessed.

This fight was really quick, and ended before I expected it to. I think rensou was gracious in handing you this victory. Keep in mind that while word count isnt everything, substantial posts do get a higher PL yield.

Thank you for the quick victory Rensou, and I will be the first to admit, I didn't expect it to end so quickly, either way it was a good match. Geurin, I do want to express that I am not great at writting fluff really. But thank you for the increase none the less.

xD Tsuken was only around 55% as powerful as Ericnox, so it's token that he should typically lose, and I need this tournament to move, thus, I called it to an end~
