The door to the arena had opened, revealing the dark eye'd warrior Brandon. A favorite among what gothic people remained in the galaxy. The seemingly human boy waved to the crowd as he yelled "Everyone give me a whoop Whoop!" as he then cupped his ears to hear their response, which was a crowd enhanced repeat of what he said 'Whoop Whoop' he heard, as he laughed outloud.
"Yes! Thats what I am talking about." He said, as he turned to face his opponent, Basa. A Powerful Namekian who Brandon had had very little chance of getting to know. With a grin, his Promethean weapon, in mode B, its sniper configuration, formed in parts into his left arm, causing him to sling the weapon over his shoulder.
"Lets get things started, shall we?" He asked Basa, as with his free hand, he charged up a cold energy ball, and then threw it at Basa in an attempt to see how he would react.

Upon hearing the harbinger announce his name, the eager namekian dashed into the ring with anticipating. A wide grin decorated his face as he gazed at the vast crowd and the red skies in the background. They cheered, not for his name, but for the inauguration of this event. No, they would not cheer for the alien, Basna was already mentally prepared for that. But he knew that starting today, starting in this ring and with the glance of his opponent, he knew that in this very moment he was about to cultivate his persona and transmit his power, his presence to all of Vegeta.
Basna was already known on his own planet, being the Master of the Namekian Warrior Caste and all, but that was just the beginning. Now it was time to make his name known throughout Vegetasei. He smirked at his opponent as he began showboating to the crowd. Basna was wearing his usual white gi with the symbol of the Namekian Warrior Caste emblazoned on his left chest and back; a symbol the people here would learn to remember after this match.
The namekian observed him, the first step in a fight. He assessed the man’s power through energy signatures and compared it to his own. He grinned, concluding that he had the pretty much won without even trying. His powerlevel was very well more than 60% of his opponent.
The wind blew and his closes fluttered along with it. Aside from the monotonous cheers of the crowd, there was an eerie silence when the two warrior met eye to eye as they immediately after entered into combat with the man known as Brandon making the first move. Basna had heard the name with his powerful ears when the announcer called them out. His antennae twitched upon the upcoming blue sphere which expelled dense air in its wake.
Basna braced himself and propelled an outstretched arm forward, crashing through the orb and shattering it as it continued onward at his opponent with the intention of ramming his fist across Brandon’s face. “It’s cold,” he thought, having felt the effects of the sphere his adversary had launched. Although, namekians had rather thick skin; thus, they were very resistant to extreme temperatures. It seemed he had an elemental fighter on his hands –a unique style Basna had never experienced. It was quite thrilling, this battle was already exciting! He smirked.

Brandon watched as Basa crashed right through his weak attack, and his fist soared right to him with a good amount of speed. Brandon felt that this Namekian was especially powerful, and had to use his brain to out think, and have more superior tactics against this powerful foe.
"Damn, hes good." He said to himself, as ducked under his fist, as he lowered his rifle, and vainly held it up with one hand, as the weapon charged, and fired a rapid, but powerful shot towards the speeding Namekian, as he used his free hand which he had pointed his palm towards the ground. A Freezing mist snaked from his hands, and rested on the ground, creating a frozen, and very slippery patch of ice on the ground.
Once his rifle had shot, Brandon made his rifle start to reconfigure to its default mode.
If the rifle shot hit or not, Brandon would push himself forward with as much strength he had to ram into the Namekian, and attempt to push him backwards, right towards the edge of the ring.

“He’s pretty fast,” Basna noted as the man was capable of both launching a barrage of ki blasts and ducking under his stretched arm altogether. He retracted his arm back and motioned for the second, but he froze on the spot for a split second. He was about to counter the energy blasts as well as target Brandon with an energy blast. But his eyes set on the crowd cheering behind Brandon –the crowd whose lives could perish because of him. “Tsk!” he groaned, realizing this tournament wouldn’t allow him to let loose.
Instead, the namekian slapped the energy spheres towards the tiles floors. If he evaded them, they could reach the other spectators behind him. With the distraction out of the way, he turned his focus back at the armed fighter who was now lunging towards him. Basna smirked and started charging a buzzing blue orb of concentrated energy onto the palm on his hands. This attack wouldn't harm anyone if it were to somehow miss as he thrust his hands forward and the orb popped into a burst of wide-range energy that would engulf Brandon and send him back flying to the other end of the ring.

Brandon was caught offguard as the Namekian's attack hit him dead on, causing him to fly backwards. Brandon knew that he couldnt go out of the ring, as his body crashed into the edge.
Panicking, He quickly saw that he was up against the edge, but not out. He got up to his feet and glared at the Namekian. He held up his newly formed weapon, which was in Mode A now. He charged the weapon, and fired a series of energy shots with one hand, while his other hand charged up and fired YELLOW orbs of energy. If they hit, The Namekian's thick skin wouldnt negate the shocking sensation Brandons thunder based attacks. Of course, it would be the equivalent to a human being shocked with Static electricity.
After his Mode A weapon fired its shot, it broke down into its components again, and hide themselves in Brandons pocket so Brandon had another free hand. That of which he used to form another patch of ice on the ground, making the ground have 2 large patches of ice on the ground. What was he up to with the ice? Who knew.

Basna grinned. He liked it when he successfully hit his opponents; the feeling felt similar to a human when throwing a basketball through hoops. He watched idly, allowing his opponent to reconstitute himself. He was glad Brandon hadn’t fallen out, for it would’ve been way too boring and the fight had just started.
Taking a better look, he noticed part of the ring had been frozen solid. He didn’t know how it happened but obviously it had to do with his opponent. He kept a mental tab to stay away. His attention was then taken to observe the energy blasts sent towards him. Again, to protect the civilians; instead of evading, he slapped them towards the ground, only to find himself with an unexpected surprise. The last few orbs of yellow energy were electrically charged, and the moment he made contact, electricity sparked throughout his body and kept him momentarily immobile as he dropped to one knee and supported his body with one hand on the floor. His antennae flinched and a protective barrier formed around his body in the nick of time to fend off the additional blasts that had been expelled from the oversized weapon.
He grunt and looked at Brandon with a closed eye as the residue smoke dispersed. He had created another frozen patch onto the tiled arena. Basna was thinking about how this man was not an ordinary elemental fighter. This man could manipulate more than one; the question is, how many? On the meantime, Basna had learned this man could use ice and thunder, and the respective blasts were either blue or yellow depending on its properties. With this knowledge, Basna would avoid this from happening again.

Brandon smirked as he saw his opponent down on one knee. Wether this was because he was tired out, or just recuperating from his electrical blasts. Regardless, It was a good time to give his opponent massive damage.
The muscles in his body soon expanded to the point where they were visible to the naked eye, as Brandons eyes also turned to a glowing crimson red. But the other change that Basna could see was that Brandon's powerlevel quadrupled in a few seconds.
Now at his Inglet stage, Brandon put his gun down for a moment, as he would then charge up multiple energy balls of Ice energy, and Thunder energy. About half a dozen each, and rapidly threw them at his temporarily down opponent. But that wouldnt be the end of his attack, for as soon as the energy balls were launched, Brandon picked up his weapon again.
The gun glowed brighter with its newly upgraded energy source, as Brandon aimed, and fired more concentrated energy shots at Basna in an attempt to overwhelm him with attacks.

Basna’s eyes widened. “Tsk!” he groaned, as Brandon’s power got alarmingly high in just seconds and launched a barrage of blue and yellow energy blasts. Basna willed his petrified body to roll sidewards, evading the first batch of blasts. They were aimed low to hit the fallen Namekian, so evading them wouldn’t harm the civilians. Instead, the blasts would self-destruct upon landing on the ground and chipped the tiled floors of the arena. Blue energy blasts, which he labeled as ice, were heading his way and he slapped them to the ground –only to find a yellow one right behind it, which he instinctively and swiftly evaded on impulse.
“That was a close one…” he murmured, focusing on his opponent as the unceasing fire of energy blasts were sent his way. Basna made haste as his body stiffened and tensed, his muscles bulged and gradually, his limbs and body grew proportionally five times his own size and out of the smoke came his head like a skyscraper. The last few blasts hit their mark, but they were like little flies to his now huge body. Electricity sparked through his body, slightly slowing down his movements. Basna clenched his teeth and stood his ground, now standing with just enough power to rival his adversary. He could go higher, but that would be boring.
The now, Great Namekian, with all his pride looked down on his opponent and propelled a raging fist with his elongated arms. He would attempt to smash his fist into Brandon’s thorax and would continue the onslaught with his other hand; making his opponent dance as he ran for dear life.

Brandon looked up and saw that the Namek had transformed as well, easily matching his powerlevell. He gulped nervously as he saw the opponent swing his fists at him, trying to hit.
For Brandon, time seemed to slow down for him as a voice came into his head. "My turn... " It said to him, as Brandon seemed to black out, but his body was still up, as control of it was switched over, and not a moment to soon either.
He ducked under the swinging fists, holding his weapon in one hand, he fired off more bursts of energy at the Great Namek as his free hand was freezing more of the ground. If theres one thing that either Brandon knew, it was that the bigger the enemy, the harder they fall. And now with Brandon resuming his icing of the arena, nearly half of the arena was solid, slick ice now. If Basna were to even step on it, he would find it extremely difficult to get good footing on it, and would most likely fall over.

Basna’s thrust missed and crashed onto the tiled floor of the arena, cracking the ground as debris rose airborne. He retracted his arm and thrust a second which would break through the energy blasts and attempt another strike while Brandon continued to freeze the arena even more. Basna could only wonder whether there was some kind of greater scheme or meaning to all of this. In his perspective, the opponent was only making it difficult for himself by freezing the ground. Regardless, he seemed to fare well in the slippery floor. Maybe it came with the ability to manipulate ice?
Following his fist, Basna assumed this time wouldn’t be any different from the first; which is why he was prepared to write it off as a decoy whether or not it missed and catch Brandon in the midst of movement with a swift kick. Due to his size, there wasn’t much to plan –any bigger and he could literally step over his opponent, which is why Basna hated transforming. This huge body wasn’t fit for combat –at least not unless it was to the death. There was no sportsmanship in his form and it definitely didn’t require nor demonstrate his skills as a fighter. His opponent was too small; therefore, he couldn’t fight normally. Instead, it was more like trying to smash a really fast ant, or a mosquito if Brandon could fly.

Brandon fell for the ruse, as he attempted to dodge a punch that never came, but was instead greeted by a kick to his face. The pain was unimaginable as the attack had caused him to fly back a bit, and land on the ice. He slid for a short ways, before he cause the ice catch him, as he stopped sliding. he got back up to his feet, and noticed some black liquid dripping from his nose. Blood! And not just any kind of blood, it was Darkling blood.
"Oh your gonna pay for that..." He said, growling in anger as his weapon started to reconfigure once again into its sniper mode. But when it was doing that, Brandon fired more electrical blasts at Basna, but what was more then sneaky, the ice that Brandon had created had started to, very slowly, grow to begin covering the last of the arena. But since his powers of ice were weak, the grow rate was painfully slow.

Basna smirked as he finally hit the ant and sent it flying off into the frozen landscape. For a moment, it had seemed as if he might have slipped right off the ring. How hilarious it would be for him if so. Basna would have something to laugh at for the whole month and he’d remember it when he grows old and looks back at his achieved past. But it wasn’t the case at the icy ground moved to grab him still as he began to charge his weapon, which had transformed once again.
The great namek Basna countered his yellow blasts with energy blasts of his own. He extended one giant hand forward and aimed down at Brandon, launching a barrage of consecutive ki blasts. The first would overwhelm Brandon’s attack while the others continued on with the intention of pelting onto his opponent. Some would land on the frozen ground and blast the area. Ice cubes flew everywhere and steam twisted into the air as the ice mildly melted.

Brandon had to react quickly as his attacks were blocked, and over taken by the Namekians own attacks, as he quickly created a barrier of solid ice which managed to block the blasts, but it had shattered under the impact of the final blasts, as steam clouded the area around Brandon for a moment.
But when the steam had subsided, Brandons weapon had fully configured, as he was staring down its scope, which had directly targeted Basna's right eye. Aiming Carefully, He fired a powerful, high speed energy shot, hoping to temporarily blind the Namekian, since he knew that such a large creature couldn't be permanently damaged by his weapon.
After his shot had fired, Brandon quickly repaired the damaged ice areas, as he started to spread more of it, as the sheet of slick ice approached Basna's feet.

Basna was satisfied to see his energy blasts overwhelm the man’s ice shield, but his smirk soon vanished along with the steam that faded as his opponent, Brandon, cocked his gun and aimed straight into his eye. It was a neutral energy shot with no added gimmicks like electricity or ice, but even then it was extremely painful. The great namekian roared in pain and covered his right eye with the palm on his hands as purple namekian blood escaped through his fingers and dripped down on the frozen arena floor.
His eye wasn’t permanently damaged, he had closed the lid on the last second but he couldn’t open it as of yet. Basna would remain partially blinded for a few moments. He continued to apply pressure to his eye. “Damn you!” his reverberating and deep voice rang through the stage. Suddenly, his feet felt somewhat loose as he began to slightly slide in place. He glanced down at the ring, which was now completely engulfed in ice. He couldn’t maintain himself firmly afoot, so Basna used his telekinetic abilities and lifted his body off the ring and into the air.
“You’ll have to try harder than that!” he said, extending his free arm down at the ring while still holding his right eye and expelling an energy wave which would pin him down on his own ice.
