So you are looking into the forum and are not sure how to proceed. This helpful guide will hopefully clear up any confusion you may have. All of the threads here are important to read, but we know that's a handful and a lot to take in at once, so here are the basics for you. Browse the other threads at your earliest convenience.
For starters if you havent already, introduce yourself here. Our members are pretty friendly and welcome the conversation. We also have an active Chat Box found below.
Now I bet your first question is, are canon characters available for play and the answer is no. You can find additional information about the history of our site here. This thread is updated after every major saga or event.
CREATING YOUR CHARACTER
Your character should be unique. The more interesting he/she is, the more we will want to roleplay with you. So if you make a Goku like character, most people won't find that interesting. The best place to start is on our races board. That is where all of the available races are for our site. It is located here
Once you have chosen your race you can head on over to the new member application section located here. Just click the new thread button and you are on your way. The specific list of things needed for an App to get accepted can be found here, but you can add more if you like. The more information the better!
Once your character is posted you can leave the rest to us. Feel free to drop us a line in the cbox to tell us you are done -although spamming us might just be irritating, you understand- . If you feel like things are taking too long, feel free to post in our ungraded topics area, this will be the thread that you post all future topics that are in need of a grade, and it is found here
YOU GOT ACCEPTED
Glad to here it, if you got accepted believe me we are happy to see you. However you have now been asked to post a Beginner Presentation. This is just so we know what to expect from you in the future. This is where you introduce your character into the world of dragonball however you like. Through a training or finishing your history. BP's should be a decent length to really showcase your talents. The better your BP is, the better your starting power level will be! The Beginner presentation thread is located here

Power Level is our way of gauging experience. The higher your power level, the stronger your person is. As you progress through the site you will see your PL get much higher, and using transformations like the most notable Super Saiyajin, you can make your PL even higher to help you obtain victory in battle. HOW DO I GET MORE POWWA!
Great question, there are many ways to obtain power, and I will give you the basics here.
First: Solo trainings
These threads are where you take the story into your own hands. You create your own baddy to fight or your own regimine of training. These gains are simple and straight forward. The more you write and the better you write it, the more PL you get. Post all solo threads here and don't forget to post in the ungraded topics thread mentioned above! Otherwise it won't get graded.
Second: Group threads/fight
When you play with other members it is not only more fun, but far more beneficial to your PL at the end of your training we automatically add a 1.5 bonus to your Power. That means if your thread was only worth 100PL but it was a group thread, we multiply the number to become 150! Group thread are located all throughout the forum. You can join any thread that says (open) in the title and is located on the same planet you are.
Third: Plot and Saga battles
Whats that, you want to fight the big bad guy and save the day, Good for you! When you post to help progress the current saga your bonus becomes X2.5 what what it would have been initially. On top of that, if you are a much weaker member and you go up against a particularly nasty baddy, your gain becomes X4 (Insane right!?). This is the most fun, and easy way to earn power. (Plot events are mentioned here)
WHAT ABOUT GRAVITY OR WEIGHTED TRAINING?
Great question, your sharp I can tell! All of these fun things are available for purchase at our shop. Earn Zeni by doing threads specifically about earning zeni (Robbing a bank, doing a job, etc.). Once you earn enough Zeni you can buy one of these awesome items, each with its own special ability to help give you the edge in combat. We suggest investing early in both gravity and heavy weights. They are expensive but pay off in the long run. You can find Items here

Maxxie = Original creator and owner of the site, who has unfortunately been absent for quite some time after the site's inception.
Boliko =The big boss man. Following the opposite time zone as the one seen in the Cbox. Co-creator of the site. (Has been taking a break for some time, but still is technically an admin. Do not pester.)
Serori Yakedo Touketsuki = The ever busy Serori! Currently, Serori's the Head Administrator, so everything that goes on, passes on to him.
Mori = Our third Admin, Mori! Haven't seen him around lately, though.
Requies Artog = The current support/back bone for Serori. In charge of character profiles. Always a welcome assistant to anyone! Ranked Admin (Number four of five)
Jin Blaze = Our sassy Acrosian, ranked Admin. With all the work being done, the back bone has gotta have a back bone too!
Bazantar = Our lurking Dark Namekian Moderator, Bazantar! He's a great thinker and a wonderful addition to the crew. As soon as his real life issues get fixed out, we can see a lot coming out of him!

- The general rule is that if you are within 80% of a person's power level you are an even match for each other. PL helps determine a users level, but not how well they do in thread. A player with a high PL, but a poor role playing performance probably won't win many fights.
- Your PL will change with EVERY in character thread that you do (so long as you request PL over Zeni). So if you are feeling a little behind, hop in a new thread.
