After having a good sleep, and time to fully recover from his fathers beating, Ethar was up on his feet stretching out. He was still a bit sore from the beating his father gave him, but he was glad he did it. He already felt a bit stronger, and was looking forward to it, but for Ethar, training with his father wouldnt happen. "Morning kid." a familir voice said, as Ethar turned around to see his father, but he was holding something. A Sword, and a rather finely crafted one as well, from what he could see.
"Hello Father, Whats with the sword?" Ethar asked, as he eye'd the shiny blade. Gin smiled at his son, and looked at the sword as well as he held it up. "Well Ethar, when I was back on Nor, It was given to me as a gift of friendship by your mother when we first met. I beleive the creators name was Groot, master swordsmith of the Duiecite. Never met the man. But It was going to be a family heirloom, but I never got to pass it on, until today." He said, as he turned the sword around, and handed the handle to Ethar, who gently took the blade. It was as light as a feather, but looked sharp enough to cut through anything.
"Thank you father, Its beautiful." Ethar said, as he admired his new blade. "Dont cut yourself with it. It is enchanted so its condition never changes. It will never dull, and never break. Believe me, It took a spirit ball, and didnt even smudge it." his father said, as he watched his son, who seemed confused as to what a spirit ball was, but Gin remained silent, since he knew his son would find out sooner or later on his own.
He was admiring the sword, then Ethar remembered something that Araena said to him on Namek before she took his life. "Say hello to Aster for me... he heard in his head, as he had a bit of a flash back. Araena's eyes. That look she made, then the flash of light, then nothing.
"Father... You have been up here for a while havent ya? Do you know where I can find Aster?" He asked, as he was curious how his Father would react. "A-Aster? Its what that girl said to you, isnt it?" Gin asked, giving Ethar a look of shock, but not of surprise. Ethar looked guilty as he shook his head, "Yaaa, If Aster is the one to go to for help with the problems on Namek, she might be the one to talk to." He replied, as his father nodded in agreement. "Thats true, Thats true. Well, Im sorta not sure where to find her. Goddesses like that are usually the ones that find you. But Ill talk to others and see if I can get the word out." He said, as he reached behind him and handed Ethar a specialized harness so that Ethar could keep the sword on his back.
Ethar thanked him for the harness and the sword. "Alright then. Since you will be in heaven for a long time, Ill know where to find ya when things are ready for you to train." He said with a nod to his son. "Sure thing Father, Ill have a look around Heaven to see what is avalible." Ethar said, as he and his father turned away from eachother, and went there seperate ways for the time being. Ethar had no idea if Aster truly existed, but he needed her help, her guidance. Heck, He needed help from everyone that he could get in contact with.
Ethar, walked down a lonely path towards where he thought he had seen a training arena, but the path instead took him to an open field, not a single soul in sight. "Ah, how peaceful, maybe I can relax and train here." He said, as he took a defensive stance, and started to practice his punches. Left, Right, Left Right, He kept his punches strong, and quick. The way attacks should be. Maybe his father really did start him on the right path to being a powerful warrior. "Perhaps I was going about training all wrong before. Being peaceful didnt work for me." He said, as he stopped punching the air for a moment ,and looked over to the sword his father gave him.
He walked over and picked it up and looked over it. "Never break? Enchanted? Seems Legit." he said, as he held the sword firmly in his grasp, and gave it a few swings. He could swear that he could see the very tip of the sword slicing into the air, creating shifting air distortions that faded away as quickly as they were made.
He was quite interesting in the sword, and its creator. He then had the idea to visit Nor if he was ever able to, and congratulate the master who had crafted such a fine weapon. Then it hit him, maybe this weapon could be the key to getting his revenge on Araena and Tsurei, the duo that betrayed his faith in their words, and took his life. He would never forgive them.
His rage made his clutch his sword tightly, as some of his skin ripped on the sword's hilt, as some dribbled over his fingers. He had to develop a technique that would allow him some sort of edge, then he remembered the mist that Araena had summoned just before his death. "Maybe I can find a way to conceal myself." He thought to himself, as he had a look around for ideas.
While he didnt see anything right away, the sun, or what would be the equivalent of the sun in the afterlife, shined into his eyes. Covering his eyes, Ethar sighed as he didnt find anything good, but then it came to him, why not hide the sun? That seemed like a good idea to Ethar, but how would he do it? He rubbed his chin for a few moments while he tried to think of how to change the sun with his ki, but he knew he couldnt do it directly, then it came to him.
"Maybe I can put something infront of it!" He said, as he started to charge up his ki in his right hand. He would have to be careful with what he did with his Ki, if he formed something wrong, it could have devastating effects, but he remembered that he couldnt form a normal moon, as Tsurei was a Saiyan, and Ethar knew what happened to Saiyans on a Normal full moon. Once his energy charged up, he threw the Ki ball towards the sun as he shouted "Block that sun!" as the Ki Ball exploded.
Seconds later, the entire area around Ethar turned dark, as if it was night time, but something was up. Everything was a dark red colour, as Ethar felt his hand stinging, as he looked at it, and saw that it was both hands he made bleed with his hands clutching into fists in his rage. And it seemed that his Ki had absorbed some blood, and used it to create something in the sky that had quite an eerie effect.
He looked up at the sky, to see he had created a moon, but it wasnt a normal coloured. The moon he created was a heavy red colour, making him gasp in shock. "Did my blood do that? Make a Blood moon?" He asked, as he realized that the blood moon he created was the perfect thing to hide him, as it made him barely visible to the naked eye, as he had a hard time even looking at his own hand, but he could see the blood in them. He also felt something warm around him, like a veil of protection. He wasnt aware of it, but the moons rays that shined on him cloaked his PL to a certain extent as well.
It was then he heard a voice, "Son, What in tarination did you just do?!" it said, as Ethar turned around to see his father looking up at the moon he made. From what Ethar could see, his father was stunned at what his son had created, but was also pleased that his son made such a technique while he was about spreading word about Aster, but what was more surprising, was that Gin found that he wasnt going Oozaru with the moon present. "Father? What do you think? Think it might help me hide from enemies?" He asked, as Gin nodded.
"Sure thing it will, though Im having a hard time seeing you, and sensing you. Sure is dark...and red out here with that. Your mother would of been proud if she were here with us." He said to Ethar as he smiled back at him. By that statement, ethar knew his mother was still alive and well on Nor, which gave him a sigh of relief, as he didnt know how she was doing, and was worried that the pair that killed him would move to Nor next.
It took a while, but the blood moon slowly vanished from sight, as the area lit up again like it normally did. His father's eyes caught the sight of Ethars bloods on his sons hands, as he said "Using your blood with your Ki? Now your thinking! Thats my boy! Inventive, just like your old man!" He said, giving Ethar a pat on his back, as He took Ethar's sword out of his hand, and put it back in its sheath on his back. Luckily, Gin had some water with him, as he handed it over to Ethar, as well as a small towel, as he took then and wiped his hands clean of the blood that soaked them. Luckily, the wounds were very minor, and healed up almost instantly afterwards.
"We should be getting back Ethar. I can feel that something HUGE might happen soon. You need to prepare yourself for it...and nothing does that better then a huge meal!" He said, as Ethar couldnt help but burst out laughing. Agreeing with his Father, the two went back to the nearby town that Ethar had first met his father. What was this event that his father mentioned? Will the new technique for blocking out the sun Ethar created be enough to help exact his revenge on the duel that killed him?

[/li][li]Shades of Night - By charging up Ki for 1 post, and mixing his own blood with the ki, Ethar can launch the ball of energy at the sun, or a moon. The effect of such an action allows the sun (Or Moon) to go into a state of a eclipse with an artificial blood moon, causing the area around the user to go very dark, onpar with night-time with a faint hue of redness from the moon. But this is not the only effect that Shades of Night has. Its secondary effect is that the 'Blood Moon' emits constant energy waves that dull Ethar's energy signature so that it blends into his environment, allowing more stealthy attacks. Enemies with a higher PL level are effected less by the blood moons effects. This technique lasts 5 posts. Saiyan Oozaru forms are not triggered by the blood moon.
