Many years ago, a counsel of Kaioshins were called together to discuss the future of the Universe. As they were talking, a giant explosion was heard in the distance. As they went to check on it, they would see two elf like beings fighting. One was a Kaioshin, the other was a Makaoishin, and they were brothers. These two were the spitting images of their parent's, good and evil.

While they faught, the Kaioshin's discussed what they thought would be the outcome... Eventually, the Kaioshin beat his brother, and because all he really knew how to do was use the Instant Transmission, he would put his hand in front of his brother's chest, and take all his abilities! When he did this though, he became overpowered by the evil in his body that his brother had. Soon enough though, his rampage came to an end by the other Kaioshins' power.

The Kaioshins finally decided to make the young Kaioshin the Supreme Kai, after the other Supreme Kai left, and he made himself useful by helping save planets in different Quadrants of the world. Upon doing this, he changed his name to Awai Kami.
