Days upon days of doing nothing had truly gotten to Kazama. He had initially just tried to sleep through everything that was going on around him but it just wasn’t working anymore. At one point the Majin had entertained himself by turning on the gravity equipment using his telekinesis in order to trap some unsuspecting workers in its field of effect. It had made Kazama laugh so hard that his cackling could be heard throughout the hallways. It had forced some of the workers to believe that this dome was already cursed for the atrocities that it would witness.
So during one night Kazama had wandered out into the undone arena floor. The slight layer of gravel and sand coated the floor and left scuff marks wherever he walked. The Majin stared blankly into the sky with expecting eyes. The sounds of the surrounding city echoed off of the walls and left ghostly sounds darting from empty corner to empty corner. With a twitch of his hand the gravity equipment turned on, initially to that of ten times the normal gravity that was on the planet. It tugged on his body and his weighted clothing that Geurin had given him but it was nothing he couldn’t handle. So with another twitch of his hand the gravity turned up to the next setting. It was then turned to twenty time, another twitch of the hand it increased to thirty times the gravity of Earth and with that it tugged Kazama to the ground forcing him to his hands and knees. With a grunt he slowly began to try and push himself up after several minutes of getting used to the enhanced gravity.
“I will be stronger…” A vision of the Icers forcefully disposing of Kazama from their sights entered Kazama’s mind. He vowed that he would forever be able to fight those that threatened his life again so that way people like Geurin did not have to fight on his behalf. Then the image of Sohko turning his back on Kazama and running away filled the Majin’s mind. “And I will have my vengeance on all of those that turned their backs on me!” Kazama roared letting his power surge through the weighted clothing. With a quick stagger Kazama began to wander around the empty arena floor. Then with another twitch of his hand the simulator to the dome turned on casting the arena into a subzero temperature and snow began to fill the empty seats.
The image that Kazama had chosen resembled that of the planet where Kazama had been left to die at the hands of Icers and was saved by the Namekian Geurin. It was the place where Sohko had left Kazama to die in order to save his own skin. And just as Kazama thought of the image of Sohko, the drunken Saiyan appeared before his eyes wielding two swords. His clothing was disheveled and his skin dirty from not bathing. Kazama let out a slight growl from his throat and he stood before the Saiyan.
“You will not satisfy me drunken image!” Kazama said as he launched himself forward at the Saiyan. The image moved as if he did and countered away Kazama’s attack with ease. But Kazama continued with a ruthless onslaught and soon the image was pressed for time and space to counter the Majin. With each strike Kazama’s fury and power grew. The image did not show emotion or speak but continued to try and counter the attacks. Kazama roared with anger and energy blasts flew from his hands with ever growing speed and power. Soon the image was pushed to the breaking pointed and was being tossed around the ring like a rag doll by the unhinged Majin.
Then with a thud the image skidded across the ground and came to a stop. The image flickered and then faded away. Kazama staggered forward panting heavily and with a roar he shouted, “Bring me the real one! I want my god damn vengeance! Cowardice brings nothing but weakness!” The arena’s environment returned back to normal and Kazama stared into the sky. “Bring him to me! Let me show him what true power is!”
His power flared for a short bit as he imagined exacting his revenge upon Sohko and then it slowly subsided back down his normal levels. His breathing slowed and then with a twitch of his hand the gravity turned off. His body felt free from the extra weight the gravity provided, his body felt light even with his heavy weighted bands on. Slowly he turned and walked away to return to his hiding spot in order to try and enjoy some sleep.
