A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Jorlaxl was a master of gravity training. Every day, it seemed, he frequented the gravity simulator in Suki's ship, while they traversed the galaxy, going about their planet trading antics. More likely than not, he participated with Caius, the demon. Their friendly rivalry kept them both on their toes, and it was only now that he realized that both of those were vital to Jorlaxl's personal growth. His power was growing at an alarming rate, with seemingly no sign of stopping...
Walking into his own gravity chamber now, he couldn't help but marvel at its own unique facets, compliments of Drexx. This one was voice activated, it seems, but Jorlaxl began to attune it to his own senses. The machine wasn't organic by any means, but he could fill his own ki energy fill the insides, taking hold of every empty place of it. Satisfied, he mentally demanded the machine to turn on to 55 times gravity. Baring his teeth, he closed his eyes as he felt the gravity pound on his body, attempting to push his body into oblivion. It has been too long... and Jorlaxl wasn't sure he could take it. The weighted armor on his body didn't help much, but he had to persevere.
Getting on the ground seemed like a relief, but he knew it had to be done now, if not later. Getting into position, Jorlaxl began to do situps, one slowly done after another. Even with his power, it was difficult. Changing his own body makeup to become less physical and more spiritual seemed like the best idea at the time, and even now it wasn't too hard to see his reasoning, but now he wonders if it was a mistake. It feels like his physical body began to deteriorate, but he had to keep going. The quicker he got back into shape, the better.
The situps were finally complete, but a noise interrupted his focus. Listening quietly, he tried to attune his ears to the action that seemed to be going on around him. In his mind, the voice of Drexx, his most powerful student, echoed through his head. "I don't know if they'll pursue, but this machine may be infected... with a virus." Taking his dear friend's words to heart, he (carefully) stood up and got into a defensive stance. The echoes of laughter seemed to bounce off the walls, and soon he was able to make out a distinct voice: Suki.
The voice permeated his head, and Jorlaxl looked around, trying to find the voice's origin. Suki began to speak, seeming to drill straight into his head. "Caius was always more powerful."
"You've been replaced by the saiyan girl that you convinced me to take with us."
"You're too weak, Jorlaxl."
"You will never be strong enough to assume your throne."
That last was not Suki's, but it was still familiar. He couldn't place the voice, but it sent chills down his spine. This time, he knew the voices were gone. He wasn't completely sure how he knew, but he did. The feeling of ominous dread is gone, and now there is nothing. Frowning, he commanded the machine to lessen the gravity, turning it off completely. Jorlaxl was exhausted, physically and mentally. Shaking his head while rubbing the back of his neck, Jorlaxl left the chamber, ready to rest. He also had a few questions for Drexx, whenever he returned from his... trip.
((Power level please! Heavy weights and 55x gravity in effect.))
