Seventy times gravity? More like...SEVENTY TIMES WATER PRESSURE! A large claw slashed towards Serori, who darted behind a rock. It was insane what all the simulator could do...it could even simulate being underneath an ocean. However, it couldn't actually simulate the water, but it worked with the gravity machine to produce effects akin to being underwater. Everything in the room was much lighter, but Serori's body moved a lot more sluggishly. The gravity pushed against her whole body, already making her slow, but that meant that her opposition was slowed as well. However, as she was fighting monsters of the deep, they were already used to being underwater.
Serori's thoughts were interrupted by a crustacious leg curling around the large boulder she was hiding behind. The super saiyan quickly reached down, grabbing underneath the brown object, flipping it over onto the beast, which emitted a sort of squeaking sound. It was squished, orange goop leaking out into the water that they swam in. Serori didn't have time to feel pride in her work, as there were several, several more enemies to fight. They had encircled her without her noticing; their movements made no sort of waves in the water, that she could feel. And underwater, she was incapable of hearing, and really couldn't see that well either. Not only was this to train her muscles, but her sense of touch as well. She planned on being able to sense movements in the air, in case she were ever deprived of her senses (epic foreshadowing).
The beast that she had killed would have left a large gap for her to escape through, had she not thrown an enormous boulder on top of it. 'Damn it,' she thought. This training would also help her decision making.
She glanced around, darting looks, as the monsters began closing in, raising their large pincers above their heads. The only escape was up...and that's exactly what she would do. Pushing off with her feet, she jettisoned upward, the scythe-like appendages coming slashing down where she was. Their were sounds like hisses from below her, and she looked back. The whole group of hideous beings was coming after her, swimming faster than she could. Her eyes also caught a sight that she wished they hadn't: one of the monsters had lost its exoskeleton. It must have been the one that she'd tried to squash. 'Guess that won't work then.'
She turned forward, trying to make the best of what headway she had. Charging ki into her hand, she decided that a large blast would heat up the water, and cook them alive. 'Better take precautionary measures.' She also charged up ki around her whole body.
When she felt that she had enough energy, she turned, blasting a powerful generic blast down, and let her wings erupt forth, large, feather-like wings. Feathers that were now weighed down by water. She tumbled, losing control of herself, and falling into the midst of the monstrous organisms. As it turns out, their bodies were made of something able to absorb and deflect ki, though not all of it. She noticed, in her tumble, that some of their claws looked burnt, before she fell into the middle. Smaller ki blasts were flying everywhere, some hitting her, others hitting the abominations. In the midst of the flurry, Serori was also hit by several claws, and, as it turns out, ki beams emitted from their oral cavities.
As soon as serori got a second to think, she dissipated her ki wings; they had no power here. Instead, she activated her regular barrier. More power usage, but also more powerful. She curled herself into fetal position, and allowed herself to sink away from the carnage. A few of the creatures followed her down, while the others flailed at each other, still trying to figure out what was going on. 'Well, this oughta be a treat.'
Serori waited for the closest to get to her. It lashed out with its claw, and Serori grabbed the proffered appendage. Much like a Saiyan many decades ago, she pulled hard, tugging, until the arm ripped, letting loose more orange goop. It was vile, turning Serori's stomach, but she paid it no mind; there were much more pressing matters.
The shrieking creature had gathered the attention of the remaining monsters, all of them turning towards her, and began swimming downward. Serori ignored them for now, instead choosing to grab the already broken appendage, and pull its owner closer. From its mouth came two spider like pincers, serated and sharp. Serori barely managed to dodge these, but was forced to let go of its broken arm. She was already getting tired, breathless...breathing!!
It was something she'd forgotten to be doing, as the simulator made it seem as though she was underwater. No wonder everything was weird! Serori punched awkwardly at the monstrosity, taking a large gulp of air, an oddity in the current situation. The punch sent it spinning into the rest of the abominations, causing an underwater car wreck, while she pushed herself away from the carnage, being sure to breath, and slow her heart rate.
Once she was cooled down, it was time to take things seriously. Closing her eyes, she concentrated, forcing out of her mind the thought of ki signatures, and extending her feeling of touch. Becoming sensitive to even the slightest hair movement. Extend her sense of feeling, to the point where even the mildest breath would pull at her skin...
It was like opening a third eye. She managed to block out all other senses, and see with the movements in the air. There were twenty of them coming at her; the twenty first was still writhing over its lost arm. Serori strafed to the left, and felt all of them turn ever so slightly to angle their trajectory towards her. She let a smirk appear across her lips. Pulling her hands back towards her hip, she began to charge. One second...two seconds...three seconds...four seconds. The alien-like beings continued towards her, getting very close now. Seven seconds...eight seconds...Nearly upon her, she felt the tip of a claw touch her arm as she forced her hands up, thumbs interlocked, and palms curved inwardly. The ball of energy that had been born beside her erupted forth, a cone now forming and expanding. It consumed the first creature, leaving nothing but ash as it burned up. The following three were immediately irradicated as well, the next closest seven properly destroyed. Four after suffered sever injuries, while the remaining six either dodged or only got minorly burned.
Bodies fell slowly around Serori, as the resulting heat of her attack assaulted her; it was enough to have to put up a small barrier to protect herself from any burns. She could feel a few of the crabs still writhing in pain, but they were of no consequence to her. Rather, she shot out several standard ki beams at each one, silencing them for good. The hissing from their bodies was not a pleasant sound; in fact, it was almost like screaming, little insects screaming in tortured pain. There was nothing to do about that. But the remaining six...those must be dealt with.
Serori put herself into an open stance, arms spread out, beckoning. When the six rocketed towards her, she let a smile cover her face. This was too easy...
With a quick punch, backed with ki, she crushed the head of the first, one, the fastest of the consortium. It was akin to a car crashing into a brick wall. The exoskeleton of the creature crumpled up against her fist, falling to the ground. More orange goop...and the creature crawled out of the shell. It was enough to distract Serori into getting hit by the next monster, knocking her backwards towards another, which used its scythe like appendage to slash her face. Blood poured out; it would have ruined her vision, had she been using it. Otherwise, it was just more warmth to the water. The next one came, a swish in the air as it lifted both of its fore-arms. Serori reached out, grabbed the hard shell, and pushed her knee forward, resulting in a loud crack, and then pain, and an explosion. The monstrocity that had crawled out of its shell had let forth a ki beam from what could only be called its mouth. It had hit her back, knocking her down, and opening her up for an attack.
Another abomination rushed at her from behind, while she attempted to catch her breath, slashing at her back, sending her flying sideways. Her anger was beginning to rise; already in her super saiyan form, she had only so much control of her emotions. And this was making her angry. She began charging again, hand above her head as a purple orb grew into existence. Another crab rushed her, and she used her psychic ability to alter the air flow so that it missed her by mere inches, off to her side. The rest flew at her all together, coming from different directions. Her solution to this was to raise her other hand, blasting a dome out around her, light, but strong enough to push them away while she continued charging. She only had a little more to go...
When she realised that she'd stopped paying attention to the air flow. Her eyes flew open, seeing only blue, but feeling a pull from behind her. Turning, she threw up her hand, ready to take on anything. What she wasn't expecting was the biggest monster she'd seen. Comparing the size of what she saw before her now and what she'd been fighting, she could only assume that she'd been fighting its babies. 'Oh shi-' was all she could get out before a large clawed arm knocked her and her death ball flying. She crashed against the floor, winded once again. She pushed herself up on an elbow, wincing, trying to find the monster. She couldn't see it, but she could feel it, and the power it was drawing in, at an alarmingly fast rate. Almost too late she rolled out of the way as the beam flew right into where her body had been. Letting out a sigh of relief, Serori was glad she'd felt that one coming, but not glad at what she felt now.
Excruciating pain shot up her left arm, which had remained spread out, and right in the line of fire. Serori let out a scream, piercing, animalistic. Never before had she felt such pain, not even in her fight against Rensou. She looked over, to see a blackened mess of blood and bone, what remained of her arm. She couldn't even come up with anything to say in response to this, so she let herself rise with her bukujutsu. Serori was not going to let this monster get away with ruining her arm. Holding onto the shoulder, she flew towards the beast, dodging and weaving more attacks on her way. She charged up in her right hand, held her breath and closed her eyes, activating her barrier. 'Feel the movements...feel the movements...feel the movements.'
And almost like she could see its heart beats, there they were. Three of them, causing shifts in the air waves ever so slightly. Six shifts, pause, six shifts. She took careful note of where they were, taking aim as it were, before once again throwing her hand out in front of her. This time she wasn't stupid, and was utilising her ki sense. Able to dodge the first ki blast, she sent one third of her charged energy in the direction of the first heart. A Shrill shriek let her know that she'd hit. She dodged the next beam aimed at her, sending another third of her charged energy flying. Another shriek, followed by three blasts. Serori dodged all three of them easily, before releasing the remainder of her energy...during a pause.
The beam missed, and Serori, having lost her attention, was hit with the ki that was projected form the monster's orifice. Slammed again into rock, she tried to get up, only to be met by another, and another. She was slowly pushed into the ground, losing feeling in most of her body as the ki broke through the barrier. She tried to raise her only good hand, but that was blasted down as well. Darkness began to descend on her senses, as her "third eye" began closing. It couldn't end like this...and it wouldn't.
A sudden surge of energy brought Serori's fists up, covered in her ki barrier, to meet the beam that the monster had vomited at her. It flew off in a random direction, and Serori opened her eyes, baring her teeth. Animal instincts kicked in, as she made her way slowly towards the creature, knocking away its attacks. When she was close enough to its mouth to smell its breath, took in a deep breath, covered her ears...and she yelled. A supersonic scriech, backed by rage, power, and her own ki. Rocks shattered, creatures screamed, and chitin erupted into nasty, orange goop. Serori breathed heavily, blood still dripping from her arm, feeling faint. She let herself fall to the ground, on her knees, eyes closing. "Computer...off."
Serori did not allow herself the pleasure of passing out, and sleeping it off...she was severely injured. If she didn't get treated soon, then she would probably not be able to move her arm; she was already looking at permanent damage. She crawled off to the healing chamber, locking herself in. The machine turned on, smelling and feeling of mint, if that was even possible. Maybe she'd got so good at feeling things, that she could feel other senses...or maybe she was just that messed up in the head.
"Damn...I have to get better at this."
After all...she was just killing crabs, in the ocean.
new techniques:
Sonic Shriek- the user breaths in, and lets for a sound so high it shatters matter. Is backed with ki, and has varying effects dependent on powerlevel.
Heightened sense: touch- The user has trained themselves to be able to "see" using nothing but touch, seeing movements through changes in the air. Once trained high enough, can even be used in replacement of sight. However, at earlier stages, the user must concentrate on their sense of touch.

A light click, a soft hiss, pressure being released from the healing pod, the hood sliding open. Serori removed her mask, unfolding her arms, and stepping out. She felt rejuvenated, the purpose of the healing tank.
"Empress, good to see that you're still alive. If I may make a navigational suggestion, we could head to-"
"Nope." Serori interrupted the AI. She began to stretch herself out, loosening up her muscles.
"Sir, I don't think that's such a good idea..."
"And I don't pay you to think."
"You don't pay me at all...and, thinking is part of being an AI. I was created to think artificially."
"That's enough Jarvis."
The AI let out a sigh. "We've been over this...I am not Jarvis, I'm Sousui X-23."
Serori turned around in anger. "We do not refer to that name any longer," she hissed. "You'd better rewrite your programming, because your name is now Jarvis." With that, she left the main pod space, headed back for the gravity chamber.
"Now, Jarvis, I want you to activate the simulator. You're choice of opponent or opponents, keep the difficulty high enough for a challenge, and possible death, but low enough that I have at least a fighting chance."
"Very well, you're majesty."
While a humanoid image was being conjured up by the AI, Serori cracked her knuckles, preparing herself mentally for a fight. 'This may be tough...I was a little hard on my computer...' She shook her head, clearing thoughts, just readying her body for battle. She ascended into her kaioken form. "Gravity up to 70 please."
"As you wish, you're majesty."
"You don't have to call me that...I've told you you can call me Serori. None of this title crap."
"Yes, empress."
This time it was Serori's turn to sigh, but she lifted up the corner of her mouth into a smirk.
The digital recreation before her finally began to fully appear. It was a man, dressed in fancy attire. He was old, bald on top, with white curls to the side of his head, and a white moustache. He had a small smile, and in his hands he carried a platter, and a whip. Serori laughed.
"This?? This is your challenge for me? Jarvis, I demand you try again, with something actually challenging!"
The gravity chamber turned on, slowly pushing against her shoulders.
"I assure you, this is challenge enough. If I grant you anything more challenging...I will be disobeying orders."
"Jarvis, if this is your way of getting back at me," Serori's breath was coming slightly shorter, as the gravity pressed all over her body "I am not okay with this. I could fight him with my eyes closed."
"Then do."
The lights turned out, and Serori was surprised by a hit to her face. Tightened leather cut into her flesh as she was flung back surprisingly far.
"What the hell Jarvis, what are you playing at??"
"You said you could fight him with your eyes closed. I'm ensuring there won't be any cheating done."
"You know its just a figure of speech!"
This time she felt the attack coming, reaching up to intercept it; instead, she was met with a stinging sensation in her hand, blood now welling up in her palm.
"I can't know anything; you don't pay me to think."
"I don't pay you at all!"
"Precisely, my lady. Now, if you would get back to the fight, you have another one headed straight for your-"
Serori felt something wrap around her leg. Without thinking, she activated bukujutsu, trying to fly. The thing assailing her leg grew taught, and she crashed into the ground. Sitting up, she rubbed her head. Dafu-
The thing, which she soon found out was the whip, pulled her to the simulated man. In his hand, he had readied the silver platter, swinging at her with it. Through some sheer luck, Serori managed to hit the broad side of the plate, sending it flying, and her opponent reeling back. The whip retracted from her legs, and she fell to the ground, picking herself back up.
"Jarvis, the hell am I supposed to do?"
"Why don't you use your sense of touch...isn't that what you were training earlier?"
A whistling sound came from before her, and she ducked. Wind from what she assumed could only be the plate pushed against her hair, and boomaranged back around.
'Alright..just gotta close my eyes...concentrate...become the sense touch. Be able to feel even the slightest movement, feel a presence, a lack of empty space. Feel.
Slowly, the area around her became an enclosed space. She could feel where the walls were, where emptiness was blocked. She couldn't have been more than seven feet away from the wall. In front of her was the other wall...and her opponent. He was advancing towards her, slowly, almost as if he couldn't go any faster. Serori rocketed off the ground, charging up a ball of energy. She flipped over her opponent, letting the energy release as she was above him, aiming at his head.
The attack was blocked by a mere punch. Her enemy's hand hit the ball of energy, and it dissipated. 'wha-what?' This...old man. He wasn't just taking her by surprise..he was strong. Almost as if he had given up speed for strength...
Serori landed behind him, and he turned around, pulling back his arm with the whip. Serori charged up another ki blast, letting it loose when the whip came at her. Both met in the middle, and Serori concentrated more energy into her attack. It pushed the weapon back, but was also knocked away; the perfect chance for her to rush her opponent. She used Instant Transmission to get in close. Her arm was already pulled back, and when she pushed it forward, his hand was there to meet it.
This was an unstoppable force meeting an unmoveable object.
Seconds passed, stony silence, nothing moved, no air stirred. The universe had to catch up to itself, and when it did, both parties were forced backwards, slamming into the wall. 'So its true...less speed, more strength. I'll just have to go FULL POWER!' She powered up to her super saiyan form, blond hair waving, and yellow aura like lightning around her. Her strength and speed increased, and she jumped into the air.
In front of her she could feel the old man moving, having stood back up, and was walking towards her. His raised his left hand, lifting the platter, bringing it back, then letting it fly forward. Serori ducked under it, the silver plate circling the room before returning to his hand. 'Some sort of boomerang..and it only proves his strength. Something like that shouldn't be able to fly in this kind of gravity...'
Serori could feel how tired she was; she hadn't properly slept in days, and it was beginning to creep up on her. Her opponent slowly approached, while she stood there, just gathering up energy. 'I don't know what I should do...he can deflect all my energy attacks, and he's too powerful for me to do a physical assault...if I keep this up, I'll be too tired to fight before I know it, and he's just a simulation...he doesn't get tired. But what if...'
"Jarvis! Activate Kold simulation two-zero-seven-seven Alpha T-D."
Whirring, as the simulator changed the scenery. Light showed pink through her closed eyelids, and she opened them, taking in the scenery. This was something she'd made herself, a program to allow her to train to control her emotions. Everything around her was smoke, fire, carnage. Walls destroyed, people in the distance screaming, bodies lying on the ground, bodies of her friends, defeated and killed. Blaze, Gleacer, Aice, Boki. Her eyes, as they always did during this simulation, went straight for the one thing that she always dreaded seeing. She'd made this...she knew it could never happen. But everytime she looked at the throne, she always would hope that the body of her betrothed would be standing there, brushing dust off, ready to fight.
Instead, she always found Suki there, dead, lying in his white, marble throne, cold and dead, blood leaking from his body; and it filled her with rage. A cold rage, so frigid it burned, but a controlled rage. She looked around the setting, the building torn apart, and the city below her in ashes and ruin. Bodies of civilians were strewn across the ground, black figures tossing them like ragdolls. Serori never wanted to assume who it was that would attack Kold; she knew it would happen eventually. She had left the assailing figures blanks, there to anger her, but not much more.
Turning her eyes, she took in the figure across from her, her opponent from before. They stood, the only two living figures in the throne room, destroyed. Neither moved, fearing the other to take advantage should they take first initiative. They stared into each other's eyes: young, saphire eyes shining, old, steel grey eyes, reflecting the orange from fire. No movement; Serori began to take in ki.
The opposition, the old man, still was standing still. Serori felt no energy massing within him; she reflected back on the fight so far. In fact...she realised the only energetic type reading on him was his signature. He held no ki energy; was he unable to use it? It can't be that the simulation couldn't create ki energy, Serori had seen it done. So why didn't he unless incapable?
Almost as if he could read her thoughts, he cracked his whip, sending a bolt of energy through the strips of leather. 'That's it!' she yelled in her head 'He channels all his energy through the whip, relying on it rather than ki based attacks!' She smirked, and began to formulate a plan. Other than the whip motion, neither one of them moved. Now that she'd noticed, she could definitely feel the energy growing in the whip; if her plan didn't work, she was in for a world of hurt.
If there'd been a timer for when Serori had gathered the amount of ki that she needed, it would have dinged, and sent her running. She did something she'd never tried to do; created four more ki copies of herself. Two went into the air, charging up ki blasts, one behind with Ki No Tsurugi, and two flanking her, wings out. The masses of Serori rushed him, each with their own attack. The two in the air charged a death ball and conic beam: they would put there's together to make a more powerful destruction ball. The one behind channeled its energy into the ki no tsurugi, making them more powerful, and the two beside her would shoot renzoku energy dan, machine gun like blasts as a distraction. All would happen simulataneously, while Serori channeled her thunder ki through the air, into her opponents hand.
Everything happened in a loud thunder crash, as all released at once. Utter chaos, Serori only concentrated on her attack, letting her clones do their own business. What she'd done was made each clone use the energy she'd put in them to charge their attacks, dissipating themselves, but leaving the attacks full of energy. It was a tricky maneouver, but she'd managed to pull it off. Everything hit on key, every move aimed and shot effectively. The whip was knocked out of his hand, and Serori went in for the kill.
Lashing out a kick, she was blocked by an arm; she pushed her leg down, using the blocking arm as leverage to flip herself over, bring the heel of her foot to the back of her opponent's head. He ducked, and she flipped back in front of him. The old man sent out three punches, slow but powerful. Serori dodged the first two, but the second was placed so that her dodge would be into the line of the third. For this, she threw up both arms to block in an X, and she was pushed back. This wouldn't deter the young Saiyan, as instead of allowing her enemy to push her back more, she took a step forward, sending flying punches at his face. His arms didn't move as fast as hers did, to block them, but he was able to move his body to dodge the ones he couldn't block. Out of fifteen punches, only three hit; they weren't supposed to be accurate and strong, but fast, wearing him down slowly.
Serori's enemy smiled, as he brought a leg around in an arcing kick. It wasn't fast and weak. It was slow and powerful, and once again knocked Serori back. The two battled, pushing each other back and forth, Serori using her fast techniques, the old man strong. An idea was beginning to dawn upon the Saiyness: what if slow, but accurate and powerful, was a better way? Why be fast, if he was just going to be able to block and dodge them with ease? Taking this mindset, Serori's next punch cocked back, and she took aim, taking longer before releasing, but not immediately readying the next punch. This way, her punch went all the way through, and when it hit her opponent's arm, it hit with a loud crack. Her punch pushed his arm all the way through, into his head, knocking into his face. The old man was pushed back several feet, and Serori took the chance to get a running start.
Jumping into the air, she pushed out one leg, holding back the other, and met the enemy with a solid thud against his chest. Her leg bent at the knee, and she pushed with her other foot against his chest to jump backwards, away from punching hands. Her enemy was on the ground, lying still. Serori was panting, breathless, finally noticing the weight of the gravity. She sank to her knees. Finally, she was successful. She'd beaten Jarvis' tricks, gave him a taste of his own medicine.
Serori let out a deep breath, one she hadn't even noticed she'd been holding.
"Jarvis...you can shut down the chamber now."
Whirring sounds, and everything flickered, before returning to normal. Iron, reinforced walls, two windows, and the door.
"Bravo, sir. A very well thought out fight." Jarvis' voice sounded forced, as if the wind had been knocked out of him.
"Jarvis, are you okay? As an AI, you shouldn't sound like that, unless you meant to."
"No, no, don't worry about me madam. I'm totally incorporeal; its just that the damage you do to the physical holograms has to go somewhere." Jarvis coughed. This didn't seem right to Serori.
"Jarvis, first of all, you never do this when I fight other things. Its just holograms, the damage doesn't go anywhere, it just...does. It works like that. And second, you coughed. Computers don't cough. Unless you have a virus, and I swear to the dragon, if you have a virus..."'
"No, milady, I'm perfect...perfectly fine. Don't you worry about me. You need to get some sleep. You won't be able to fight for your freedom if you're all tuckered out."
"Well...if you insist. And yeah, I guess I do need to be well rested." Serori threw up her arms in a stretch letting out a huge yawn. "Well, I'm off to bed Jarvis. Don't run into any asteroids or suns. Night."
Serori got into her cot, pulling the covers up, laying her head on the pillow and falling immediately to sleep.. Meanwhile, Jarvis was talking quietly to her, quiet enough so that if she could hear, she wouldn't notice.
"Very good, master. Suki told me that you were a capable warrior before I died...I wasn't able to fight you, but Aice...he took my mind, made it into an AI. And today, you and I fought...and you won. You will definitely serve the royal family well...one day Suki will come back, and when he finds his wife so powerful...he will be a proud husband. Anybody would be proud of you, Empress. I know I am." With those closing words, Jarvis put himself in sleep mode, maintaining proper ship procedures in order to protect Serori.
During her sleep, all that Serori dreamt about was the death of her husband.
