Weeks after fighting Hogg to get Tina’s locket back for her, Orenji did nothing but rest, trying to get his body back to 100%. He had returned to Kiiro and Migan’s house to rest there. It had been several days since he had heard anything from Kiiro or Migan. One afternoon Orenji made his way to the house, walked inside and noticed that everything was the same when he left it a few hours prior. He walked through the house, but no one was home. Orenji went up to the room to see that Migan and Kiiro’s space-pods were both gone. There was a blinking red light coming from his.
“Orenji sir there is a message for you from Kiiro, it sounds important. Do you want to hear it?”
”Yes Alfred play back the message.”
Alfred began to play the message.
“Orenji if you are getting this it is Kiiro. We need your help, I tried to stop her, but I failed. She said something about her father and took off in her pod, so I had no choice but to follow her. We landed on Kalavar 3, somewhere deep in space. Orenji she got captured by giant bug looking creatures, they just took her and beat the crap out of me. I am better now, but I don’t know if she is still alive. I have sent you the coordinates to Kalavar 3 please get here as quick as you can. They might kill her, please Orenji hurry!”
Message ended
”Alfred I am going to need you to send that to Drexx now. I am going to need his help on this and he owes me for helping him with Tina.”
“Right away Orenji, I will make sure he gets it as soon as possible.” Alfred said
Orenji went back down stairs and looked around to see if he could find anything as to why Migan would just run off to some distant planet to find her father. She hasn’t seen him for many years, ever since his ship never returned home from his voyage. Orenji looked in the kitchen, and on the table was a letter addressed to Migan. He read over the letter it was from a family friend that heard something about her dads ship beacon being picked up. Orenji put the letter back and returned upstairs, quickly getting into his space-pod.
”Did you send the message to Drexx? He needs to know about this.”
“Yes, I have sent it to Drexx, I am guessing he will be meeting you there. So I suggest you shut the door.”
Orenji closed the door to the pod, while Alfred started it and put in the coordinates for Kalavar 3. The pod lifted off of the rooftop, shooting into space making its way to Kalavar 3 to go rescue Migan and Kiiro.

Tara materialized, appearing flustered, her blue holographic hair in a mess. Her breathing was heavy though no actual air flooded her non-existent lungs. The Perfect Protector stopped his research and looked up, his arm-panel open and a soldering iron in his hand. He smiled when he saw her, but his expression changed when he noticed her panicked demeanor.
Orenji is going off world, his friends are in trouble.
“What?” Drexx lifted his head from his busy-work on his circuts in his arm back up to her. Orenji hadn’t really ever been one to pick up off world and leave without consoling with him first. At least not after their recent adventures together. Tara held a finger up and tapped the side of her ear. The message Orenji had received played from a speaker on Tara’s holographic form.
They might kill her, please Orenji hurry!”[/b]
Drexx slammed his fist on the table and shut his arm panel in a huff. Orenji was running after Kiiro and Migan, who had ran off without informing the Namekian where they were going. The female had gotten captured by a hostile group and now Kiiro was asking for help. If only they had just come to Orenji first, he could have had the strength to fight off these insect creatures. Drexx began running around preparing his lab and his gear, he would be gone for a while, his systems in his home and lab would need to run on auto.
You’re going after them aren’t you?
“You already know the answer to that.” The android said grabbing his coat and flinging it over his shoulders. He made his way out of the house and into the garage where he housed his space pod. It opened on his approach and Drexx sat in the chair, the door sealing closed.
Where are we going?
“Locate Orenji’s pod, and set a course. We’re going to go help him get his friends back. Besides I owe him for helping me with Tiny Tina.”

Orenji was lying back in his pod, waiting for Alfred to tell him when they were about to land on Kalavar 3. Many emotions and thoughts were running through his head, questions that desperately needed to be answered. Who knew how long it was going to take before he reached the planet’s surface. Every second he was flying through space, Kiiro and Migan were further in danger, and their lives were on the line. He couldn’t understand why she just left without saying anything to him, Migan had no idea what dangers could have been on the planet.
“Sir are you alright? You have been awfully quiet.” Alfred said
”No Alfred I’m not alright, can you make this pod go any faster? We need to get there quick, I am not going to let either of them die.”
“We are going at top speed sir, there is nothing else I can do, you are just going to have to wait till the planet comes into view.” Alfred said
”Migan why did you just leave like that? What were you thinking? I know you have been trying to locate your father, but traveling to a distant planet because you heard a rumor that your father’s ship was there is stupid. Please both of you be safe.”[/i]
The pod kept flying through space for several more hours, before a red light began to flash, causing Orenji to wake up. Orenji looked out the small window to see the planet come into view. He sat back and waited for the pod to land on the planet’s surface.
”Alfred were you able to find Kiiro or Migan’s space-pods? I would like to land in the same general area that they did.”
“I had already found Kiiro’s pod’s signal earlier, no need to worry sir. You are going to be landing in the same location the two of them did.” Alfred said
Orenji nodded and waited for the pod to land, several minutes later the pod slammed into the planet’s surface. Alfred immediately opened the door, and Orenji stepped out looking around for Kiiro. Orenji didn’t see anything or anyone; Alfred had said this was the exact spot where they landed. He couldn’t see either of their pods . ”KIIRO! Where are you, are you still here? Come out it is Orenji I have come, I received your message.”
Orenji kept walking around yelling for Kiiro, but he didn’t hear anything or anyone. Orenji began to run in random directions desperately trying to find Kiiro. An hour or so passed by, and there was still no sight of Kiiro or Migan or anyone. He emotions began to flare, anger, desperation, nervousness, all flowing through his body. Orenji made his way back to his pod, sitting down next to it, trying to calm his nerves.
”I can’t find him Alfred. Why wouldn’t he just sit near his pod and wait for me to get here?”
“Maybe he was taken as well sir, maybe he decided to scout the area trying to find Migan before your arrival.” Alfred said
”He knew I was coming, he should have waited! There was no need to go scout the area trying to find her!”
Orenji closed his eyes, but quickly shot them back open when he heard a voice off in the distance. He immediately got to his feet and began slowly taking steps towards the voice.
“Orenji are you still here!” Kiiro said
Orenji easily recognized the voice as Kiiro, and rushed to him making sure he wasn’t injured. Within seconds he found Kiiro walking around looking for Orenji.
”Kiiro! Over here, I am over here!” Orenji said rushing over to Kiiro.
“Thank kai you got my message! Orenji we need to go, right now. We need to find Migan quickly I think these creatures are going to kill her. Please Orenji we need to leave now!.” Kiiro said grabbing Orenji’s arm, trying to force him to follow.
”No, Kiiro listen to me we need to go back to my pod and wait for Drexx. I sent him the same message you sent me, I have no doubt he is on his way here. We are going to need all the help we can get. You are going to have to trust me Kiiro.”
Kiiro seemed reluctant to go back with Orenji, but after a few minutes of thinking Kiiro nodded. The two of them made their way back to Orenji’s pod. They were going to wait a little longer to see if in fact Drexx was on his way to help. Hopefully for Migan’s sake Drexx was in fact en route to Kalavar 3.

Drexx, was, in fact on his was to Kalavar 3. He had had Tara lock onto Orenji’s pod’s signature before he had gotten too far away, and were tracking it to a large tan world. Strong winds whipped against the chamber as he descended through the many layers of atmosphere. Out the port-view window he could see sand storms raging across the distance. The planet had very little water, and what there was it was buried.
The air here is breathable. Though there is a slightly higher level of carbon-dioxide. Tara said over the intercom. Drexx raised an eyebrow.
“Uh…”
I know you don’t need to breath, but I was telling you for Orenji’s sake.”
“Gotcha.” He was glad the air was breathable for his friend’s sake. He wasn’t sure what Orenji would have done in the case where the air wasn’t breathable.
They descended to the ground and the pod door swung down, Drexx wrapped a tattered cloak around himself, protecting his eyes from the sand. Dunes stretched as far as the eyes could see the trio of suns beat down raising the temperature to almost unbearable levels. He flipped up his cloak and covered his face, walking down the steps and onto the hot sands.
“Where is Orenji?” Drexx said looking around. He tried to scan for the pod, but the sand was causing great interference to his sensors. He hoped Tara would have better luck than he, the sensors of his ships being more outfitted for long range. She appeared, herself wrapped in a holographic cloak. Her image flickered in and out as millions of pieces of sand ripped through her.
Three clicks east. Drexx turned to her with a quizzical look.
“Clicks? Really?”
She shrugged and vanished. Drexx trudged through the sand, it up to his knees, the loose sand from the storm on top of the solid supporting layer. He reached the zenith of the dune and saw Orenji’s pod, with a human Drexx recognized as Orenji’s friend Kiiro. He raised his arm to wave back and forth in greeting.
“Hey Orenji!” Drexx slid down the sand dune and landed next to Orenji and Kiro, the Namekian’s pod sitting at the bottom of four dunes, one on either side. The android glanced warily at their position. They could easily be surrounded.
And then they were. Drexx’s sensors couldn’t pick them up by the storm, and presumably they had been following the android for some time. They came across the dunes menacingly, backed by the sun, sending giant shadows towards the trio of Kiiro, Drexx, and Orenji. They had weird looking alien guns, twisted and glowing, pulsing with power.
Their skin was most shocking to Drexx. He had seen one of these creatures before, long ago, when Benjin was alive and he was a younger android. Their skin was the color of fire, eyes pure white no irises, and they were tall, the tallest standing at around twelve feet, the shortest eight. Their shoulders were broad, but the trunks of their body were thin. Long thin arms stretched down, thin but defined with muscle. Their legs as well were thin, leg muscles defined as well. He had fought one before, a time ago that he could barely remember.
Out of nowhere one began to fire at Drexx, barely missing. The others looked around in confusion; attack clearly not a part of their intended plan. The creature was on the taller side, standing at ten feet tall. He was quick as well through the sand seeming to run upon the sand, and he was upon Drexx before the android could react.
Massive fists beat away at Drexx’s chest and face, and the android was surprised to feel nothing from. His scanners where fuzzed with the effects of the storm, and he couldn’t accurately sense the power-level of the creature. It was the same as the one he had fought all those years ago, and Drexx had gotten much much stronger.
Two sets of fire-red arms lifted the creature off Drexx. The creature spoke and spat at Drexx in a language the android didn’t understand. One in ornamental armor made his way down the dunes sliding and spinning in a way that was graceful and quick.
“Greetings friends, let me apologize for the attack. Mitrigo is upset. He claims you killed his brother.” Drexx stared at the other creature, still spitting and cursing at the android. His eyebrow raised, he turned to face the ornate one.
“I’ve never sensed this being before, but his power-level is similar to another of your kind I met a long time ago. I’m sorry if that was your brother, he attacked me, we fought… I tried to let him live… he gave me no choice.” Drexx offered his condolences , and they were sincere. The android had tried to let that alien live years ago, though perhaps in his childish haste he had killed him too quickly after throwing away his obliteration ball.
The creature broke down into sobs, his arms falling loosely against the hold of the other creatures. His curiosity had been sated, but not in any way he had wanted. The first turned back from watching him to the android.
“I am sorry to hear that my friend. I am saddened to hear of Ogirtim’s death, but Mitrigo will be better for knowing the truth, We are the resistance of Kalavar 3.” He swept his hands over towards the resistance, a small number, fourteen in total. Three of them looked a little roughed up, Orenji cracking his neck and fingers, as if he had just been in a fight.
“Resistance, but there are so few of you.”
“Such is the destruction of the Wave.” He said sadly. He raised his hand and balled it into a fist. The gathered men began scrambling up the dunes.
“I am Zythis. We have much to discuss, please accompany me to our bunker.” Drexx was wary, but if this Wave thing was the same that captured Migan, they had no choice but to trust the rebellion. Drexx looked to Kiiro and Orenji, ready to go with the resistance if they so choose.

Orenji sat with Kiiro, waiting for the arrival of Drexx. Kiiro kept asking over and over again when he was going to get here, but there was no definitive answer to that question. Orenji looked around the desolate sand waste land that lay before him. Covering his eyes every time there was a gust of wind to keep the sand out. He still had no idea why Migan would want to come to a planet like this. Or even why her father would come to a planet like this. But those questions were going to have to be answered at a later date. Hours passed by, there was still no sight of Drexx anywhere. All Orenji and Kiiro could see was sand dunes, in every direction. It was almost going to be impossible for Drexx to find them.
“How do we know he hasn’t already landed on the planet, but on the opposite side of it?” Kiiro said standing up
”Because Kiiro Tara can lock onto my pod so they will land either in the same general area, or right on top of us. Don’t worry we are going to find Migan, no harm is going to come to her that I can promise you. They took her for a reason, and we are going to find out exactly what that reason is, once Drexx arrives.”
Kiiro looked down at Orenji, looked back across the sand wasteland and the fact they were surrounded by four sand dunes. Orenji could tell that Kiiro was still skeptical of Drexx even finding them amongst all the sand, but Orenji had faith. He looked off at the Dune that was to their left, just hoping that Drexx was going to come walking over it any second now. Suddenly Orenji saw a figure appear at the top of the dune. He sat up, bringing Kiiro up with him.
“Is that him?” Kiiro said
”I don’t know Kiiro, but it is the first figure we have seen in hours, so I am going to assume so.”
”Hey Orenji!!”
Orenji was elated to hear Drexx’s voice off in the distance; He stood there and watched as Drexx slid down the sand dune making his way over to them. The meeting was quickly ruined, not even second later more figures began to appear over the dunes. Quickly making their ways to the Kiiro, Drexx and Orenji. The three quickly spun around, going back to back to back, making sure none of the attackers could get the upper hand. Orenji looked at their weapons, but didn’t recognize any of them, he quickly activated a barrier around him.
“What is going on here?”Kiiro said
As the creatures got closer, Orenji could see they were very tall, with skin as red as fire. They were very tall creatures as Orenji could see more and more of them. Defined muscles throughout their entire body, these creatures looked strong. Orenji suddenly heard noise coming from behind him, he turned around to see one of the red skinned creatures to be attacking Drexx. Orenji looked around to see none of the other creatures attacking, instead they all looked confused.
“What is the meaning of this?” Kiiro said as two of the creatures lifted the one that attacked Drexx off of him.
“Greetings friends, let me apologize for the attack. Mitrigo is upset. He claims you killed his brother.”
“I’ve never sensed this being before, but his power-level is similar to another of your kind I met a long time ago. I’m sorry if that was your brother, he attacked me, we fought… I tried to let him live… he gave me no choice.”
”Well we are off to a good start it seems. My name is Orenji and this is Kiiro, we are just here to get our friend Migan back and then we will leave your planet.”
Orenji listened to Drexx and the fire-red skinned creature talk, he was surprised to hear that they were a “resistance”. Orenji looked around to see that there wasn’t actually that many of them as he originally thought. They continued talking; finding out that the creature that was talking to them was named Zythis. He watched as the other creatures began to hurry back up the dunes, and Zythis followed. He had said something about taking them to a bunker, where they would be able to talk further. Drexx looked back at Orenji and Kiiro, most likely waiting to see what the trio was going to do.
“Hey Orenji we have to go with them, they are the ones that saved me before when I was attacked. Zythis wasn’t the one that patched me up, but I am sure the one that did was there. We need to follow them back to that bunker. Like you said we need all the help we can get if we are going to get Migan back.” Kiiro said beginning to make his way up the sand dune. ”Drexx it looks like we have on other option but to follow them, and it seems that Kiiro remembers them. Once again I thank you for coming to help me get Migan back; I don’t think I could have done this without help.” Orenji said walking past Drexx putting a hand on his shoulder.
Once Orenji made his way up to the top of the first sand dune, all he could see was more sand. Miles and miles of sand and sand dunes, he hoped that the bunker wasn’t going to be too far away, but he knew that wasn’t going to be his luck. Orenji began to follow Kiiro, who was following Zythis, and no doubt Drexx wasn’t too far behind Orenji.

The trio of suns beat down hot against the sands. They had been walking for what felt like hours, but the sun stayed in their zeniths, not wavering from their positions high overhead. No sweat fell down the forehead of the android, but even his body felt the intense heat poured down upon them. Zythis kept motioning them forwards, the sun apparently not affecting their alien physiology. Drexx kept his cloak tight around himself, keeping the sand out of his mouth and eyes.
Soon they came upon a door, as if out of nowhere. Its metal outline gleamed in the sun, its glinting form not hard to miss. Drexx questioned the strategy of having the door to a rebel base so clearly obvious from above. He mentioned such to Zythis and the Kalavarian chuckled. He reached into his ornate pockets and pulled from within the folds a metal cylinder. He put it to his lips and blew through it, making a sound almost undetectable even to the android. It wasn’t high pitched, the opposite in fact, the sound lower than any human’s hearing could have detected. The door’s outlined filled, where there wasn’t a door mere minutes ago now one stood.
“This is the only key to this door, and the only instrument that can open it; there are no better locations for our base then here.” With that he walked forward and opened the door. The door led to a staircase, concrete with florescent lights on the walls. Clearly this was a technologically advanced race. What could have possibly overtaken this race? Unless it was a naturally very powerful race, or perhaps it was something else… Something else? But what?
They walked down the stairs and into a concrete hall, rooms jutting off from them. Women and children of the race sat on beds, chairs and tables of the first large room Drexx looked into. Civilians. Innocents. Too many of them to possibly fit into this bunker. A kitchen area was off to the left, and the putrid smell from the right told him that’s where the bathrooms were. At the very end of the hall was the largest room, a meeting room of sorts. Zythis led them into the largest room, some of the resistance fighters peeled off into the side rooms, to eat, to shit, or to be with their families. Zythis turned towards them, rubbing his hands and looking like a man with a plan.
“You my friends are a Zuk-send.” He said looking back and forth between the trio. Drexx raised an eyebrow.
“Uh… What is that?” The android asked. The Kalavarian smiled a wide grin, a chance to tell his glorious peoples history in grasp.
“Zuk is our benevolent sun, He is the great giver, the rain maker, and the bestower of life. His twin is the malevolent Kuz is the taker, the jealous heart, the beating sun, and the ender of life. They both share a sister, the neutral Uzk. She is the judge. A Zuk send is… how would you say… miracle!”
Drexx’s android brain picked up upon the patterns in the words. What were these back and forth names? He posed the question to Zythis. Who was happy to tell more of his people, his racial pride clearly strong.
“Each Kalavarian gives birth to two children, and the children are given a single name, as they are two halves of a single entity. One takes the name forwards, in honor of Zuk, destined for a life of good, purity, strength of character, the other takes the name backwards, an offering to Kuz in order to spare the family and the life of the good. These children have no determined affinity though towards good or evil, a gift from the sun Uzk, sparing them until their deaths then judged for their actions while they had been alive. These two creatures are more joined to each other than you can fathom. They feel the strong emotions of their other half even a galaxy away, and when one dies the other ones knows it immediately, a crippling pain in their heart. The Kalavarian has the choice to see the last five minutes of their other halves lives if they so choose. A gift from Zuk, or perhaps a curse from Kuz…”
Other halves? Is that why the brother… had Drexx killed his other half? He looked back over his shoulder down the hall, where Mitrigo stood, leaning against the wall, and occasionally wiping tears from his pure white eyes with the back of his hand. Drexx’s heart sank. He had taken away his other half.
“If there are two children for each Kalavarian, why are there three suns?” Zythis smiled, as if he had anticipated the question.
“The story goes like this, Zuk and Kuz were born identical, the only two of their species formed from the very power of the universe. Zuk was fair, benevolent, pure good. Kuz his brother had an evil heart, and he planned to kill his brother out of jealousy, feeling as if the universe had given more to his brother than he. He attacked in his brothers sleep, stabbing him with a blade made out of his very soul. Zuk fell dead upon his feet, instantly. The universe watched the entire time, keeping quite. It was Kuz who came to the universe begging for Zuk to be born again. The universe relented, granting his wish. Upon seeing his brother alive again, Kuz was filled with a jealousy and rage. He again came at his brother with the knife.” He was enthralled with the history of his people clearly, telling his story as Drexx those gathered listened intently, even their own species captivated. “The universe was not about to gift him a second time. Zuk had no desire to kill his brother, and so he himself wished to the universe of a way to save them. The universe flung them both into the sky, to hang there never to be able to fight again. But it was not enough. Kuz made many more attempts on Zuk’s life. The universe knew it would never get them to stop fighting, so he made a third. A female, Uzk. Uzk stopped their fightings, and the three suns were created.”
Drexx was so captivated that he hadn’t even realized that Zythis had stopped speaking. He looked up at the android expectantly. Drexx nodded, he didn’t know what else to do with all the information.
“Enough about the past. Now is the present my friends, and we have much work to be done. But first, tell me what brings you all here?” Drexx looked to Orenji, it was up to him to answer, Drexx knew what he was here for, but it was Orenji’s choice to divulge how much of that information he would.

Orenji followed the group of Kalavarians, across the seemly endless sea of dessert. The sun in the sky making the planet almost unbearable, and the sands scorching to the touch. He looked around at the group, noticing the intense heat had no effect on them what so ever. He looked back at Kiiro, who had a nervous look on his face. Orenji knew there was nothing he could say, until they found Migan. The sands began to whip up, Orenji quickly covered his eyes and mouth so no sand would get in.
Soon the group came across a door, none of the trio saw it, it’s almost like it just appeared there. Orenji was confused as to why there was just a door I the middle of nowhere. It didn’t seem like a good defensive strategy to have the only entrance to the bunker to be out in the open. He heard Drexx say something to Zythis and the Kalavarian, but all they did was chuckle at his comment. Zythis pulled out metal cylinder out of his pocket, he put his lips to it and blew. Suddenly a door outline began to fill, and a door appeared. The group went inside Kiiro and Orenji were the last to go in.
“Orenji are you still sure we are going to find her?” Kiiro said turning around looking at the sea of sand
”Kiiro we are going to find here, there is nothing here that is going to stop us.”
The two of them quickly entered the bunker, following the rest of the group down stairs into a concrete hall. Orenji looked around to see women and children in beds; they look to have been through hell. Zythis lead the trio through a kitchen area, down a hallway and into a large room. Orenji watched as the other fighters went their separate ways leaving Zythis with the trio. Zythis began to speak to all of them, but Orenji wasn’t listening to him, he wanted to go explore the bunker to see if he could find anything about Migan’s whereabouts. Orenji stepped out of the room and made his way back to the sleeping area, hoping to find someone that could help him.
”Anyone here see a female at some point in your travels?}
Orenji looked around the room, but no one looked into his direction except for one. A small kalavarian child walked up to Orenji grabbed him by the hand forcing him to follow him back to his bed. Upon arriving the child let go of Orenji’s hand and ran to his mother. At least Orenji thought it was the child’s mother.
“We did see a female, right before we were attacked she was very nice, it she a friend of yours?” The mother said picking up her child
”Yes. She is a very good friend of mine. I have come here with my friend to get her back. When was the last time you saw her?”
“We saw her a few seconds before we were attacked by the invaders. She was looking for her father, I was in the process of showing her where he was, but I was too slow. The invaders came, killing many of us. If it wasn’t for her my child wouldn’t be here right now, she is a Zuk-send.” The mother said wrapping her arms around the child
”So her father is actually here, then the rumors were right. Migan saved this family from these invaders. She risked her own life to save someone else’s, something that she has always done with her life.”[/i]
Orenji looked at the mother; tears were forming in her eyes as she was holding her child. The child was playing with something around her neck. Orenji walked over, politely asking if he could see. He has seen this necklace before; it was always worn by Migan. He couldn’t let Kiiro see this, it would break him, make him lose hope.
“She gave her that right before she was taken, it is a beautiful stone isn’t it?” The mother said putting the child down. ”Yes, indeed it is. It was her favorite thing to wear, so he giving it to you makes you special. Don’t lose that necklace, it is very special. Well I thank you for the information I need to get back with Zythis.”
Orenji left the mother and child. Making his way back to the meeting room where he had left them. He entered the room, just in time it seems.
“Enough about the past. Now is the present my friends, and we have much work to be done. But first, tell me what brings you all here?”
Drexx looked over to Orenji, giving him the opportunity to answer the question.
”We have come to your planet to get a friend back. Have you seen a female human on your planet? Her name is Migan, she came here looking for her father.”
”I have not personally seen this female, but I do know of the father. He has been here for a few years now learning our technology. He is a smart man, but he is no longer with us.”
“What do you mean no longer with you? Is he dead?!” Kiiro shouted taking a few steps toward Zythis
”Calm down he isn’t dead. He was taken prisoner by the invaders. I don’t know where they have taken him, or even if he is still alive.”
”Yes Kiiro calm down like I have told you we are going to find her. So Zythis that is the reason my friend and I have come to your planet, but it seems like there is something else going on here. Do you mind telling us exactly who invaded the planet?”

Zythis’ visage darkened as he began the tale of the annihilation wave. It was the downfall of his people, and with sad eyes he began. He spoke quietly, but his deep voice filled the chamber nonetheless, and those gathered turned towards him whether they were interested or not, such was the intensity of his words, the utter despair in his voice.
“They came as they are described, the Annihilation Wave. They blotted out the benevolent sun Zuk, and with that despair grew among our people, Kuz remained in the sky as if he had admitted them. More bodies filled the sky than we could ever hope to count.” A holographic image of their world filled the table in front of Zythis. Dots appeared over globe.
“Each one of these dots was once a great city of the Kalavarian. The greatest was here.” He pointed at the largest dot on the map, more than three times the size of any of the other dots.
“The city of Zuk, named so after our benevolent sun. It was the pride of Kalavar. There the greatest minds of our species gathered, discussing ways to better ourselves, to develop better technology for the betterment of the universe.” Drexx reasoned that that must have been why Migan’s father had been here.
“I was in Zuk that day. With a giant buzzing sound they came, filling the sky with bodies. Arthrians they were called, though we wouldn’t discover this till much later. We gave them a chance to speak; they gave us an answer… in blood. Their carapaces deflected our lasers. They varied in size and shape, but never in number. Too many to count.” A tear ran down his face, smoke sizzling from it. He brushed it away and continued.
“Their giant ones stood three stories tall, and easily demolished buildings, while the smaller ones slaughtered us in the streets, the very roads that had before held pathways to knowledge now ran red with our blood. I thought I could get to the other cities, to warn them. To evacuate. To get ahead of the wave and never look back. But when I reached them, I found the horrible truth. In a way it was simply astonishing. Complete. Total. Utter. There aren’t enough words to describe this level of devastation. I gathered what survivors I could and we fled here. It’s been two weeks.”
Drexx was astonished. A whole civilization reduced to nothing in a matter of days. Thousands… no millions… no even worse than that… billions killed. “But that wasn’t the worst of it. They bring with them a veritable god. The Living Dead that Walks. Annihilus.” The very name caused those gathered to turn away, tears springing to eyes. Fresh wounds reopened again by the very utterance of it.
“Annihilus had living armor better than any we’ve ever seen, power stronger than we’ve ever thought possible. He could change the very matter around us, his blasts killed droves of us. We never stood a chance against them.” He seemed to be finished, and he turned away hiding his face. It was difficult to see such a clearly strong leader break down.
“Where is the wave now? Where is Annihilus?” Drexx asked the question he and Orenji had both clearly been thinking. This being was clearly a very strong threat… and if they had Migan… that was the worst thing possible.
“The wave took up the positions in the ruins of the cities, assimilating our technology into theirs. Annihilus is in the capital, sitting upon a throne bastardized from the throne of our former monarch.”
Drexx didn’t have to ask. The ornate armor gave it away. Zythis was the former monarch. He had failed his people. At least in his own eyes he had. Drexx turned towards Orenji. He was here for Migan and Kiiro, Drexx however had a new mission. He had to help the Kalavarian. Innocent lives were at stake, and too many had been lost already.
“So that’s where we need to go, we need to stop Annihilus and the wave. And we need to find Migan.”

Orenji took a seat as Zythis began to speak of who the invaders were, he could tell that telling this story was going to cause Zythis to relive every detail. He didn’t want him to have to relive the torture again, but it was the only way him and Drexx could fully understand the situation. He looked around to see that others had gathered, maybe to hear the story, or to give Zythis comfort as he was telling it. The mother and child that Orenji had meet minutes earlier took a seat next to him, the child sitting in her mother’s lap.
” “They came as they are described, the Annihilation Wave. They blotted out the benevolent sun Zuk, and with that despair grew among our people, Kuz remained in the sky as if he had admitted them. More bodies filled the sky than we could ever hope to count.”
Orenji noticed a holographic image of the planet appear in front of him; quickly dots began to appear all over the planet. Zythis explained the dots as cities that were on the planet. Orenji was surprised to see so many cities on the planet, and now they were kidding in a bunker. ” “The city of Zuk, named so after our benevolent sun. It was the pride of Kalavar. There the greatest minds of our species gathered, discussing ways to better ourselves, to develop better technology for the betterment of the universe.”
Orenji looked over at the mother, a tear rolled down her face. Perhaps she was in the city that day, or anyone of the other cities that were attacked by the Annihilation Wave as Zythis described them. The mother looked over to see Orenji starring at her, she just stared at him.
”Were you in the city of Zuk when they attacked?”
The mother didn’t answer Orenji, she just looked down at the child who was staring at the planet. He watched the child point to a city that was close to Zuk. Orenji knew that is where these two had come from, so that is where Migan must have been before she was taken by the Wave. Orenji looked back at Zythis.
” “Their giant ones stood three stories tall, and easily demolished buildings, while the smaller ones slaughtered us in the streets, the very roads that had before held pathways to knowledge now ran red with our blood.
Looking over at Kiiro ”Two weeks? You and Migan have been on this planet for two weeks and I only got a message from you recently.”
“Like I said Orenji I was attacked by the creatures, they almost killed me. It took me a while to be healed back to normal, that is when I messaged you.” Kiiro whispered to Orenji
”That is no excuse you should have sent me a message immediately when you arrived on this planet, maybe then none of this would have happened.”
“I am sorry that I didn’t contact you as soon as I landed, I was hoping to get Migan back sooner. Anyways you might want to listen to what Zythis is about to say then you will understand.” Kiiro said
Orenji turned his attention back to Zythis.
” “Annihilus had living armor better than any we’ve ever seen, power stronger than we’ve ever thought possible. He could change the very matter around us, his blasts killed droves of us. We never stood a chance against them.”
”Change matter? What kind of creature is this where he can change matter. Why is did they even come attack this planet in the first place?”
“You are going to have to find him and find out, the only way you are going to answer that question is by fighting Annihilus.” Kiiro said putting a hand on Orenji’s shoulder
”Well then that is exactly what we are going to do.”
Orenji continued to listen to Zythis as he began to explain where Annihilus was. He had taken it upon himself to take the throne of the kalavarians former monarch. Orenji looked at Zythis when he said the words former monarch. Those two words seemed to have more effect on him then the whole story. That’s when it clicked Zythis was their monarch and he had failed, failed to protect his people. Well Annihilus was going to have to die in order for Migan to return home safely and to return Zythis to his former self. Orenji just hoped that she was still of use to Annihilus and he hadn’t killer her already.
” “So that’s where we need to go, we need to stop Annihilus and the wave. And we need to find Migan.”
”I don’t think it is going to be that easy my friend, by the way Zythis was describing this Annihilation Wave. We aren’t going to be able to just barge our way into the city and kill him. We would be overrun within a matter of minutes. This time we are going to have to come up with a plan in order to take Annihilus down and push back the Annihilation wave.”
“Do you have an idea Orenji on how we are going to be able to do that?” Kiiro said standing up
”No, I don’t have any idea how to accomplish this, but we have to act soon or it might be too late for Migan and her father. So Zythis have you and your people come up with any ways to try to take Annihilus down? Orenji said returning back to his seat next to the mother and child.

With a flick of his hand the globe disappeared, and a necklace appeared in its place. It would be an understatement to say that Drexx was confused. Orenji had just spoken about a way to fight the wave. They clearly didn’t have the numbers to do so, so what did this necklace mean?
“This is the cosmic control rod. Our scientists invented it long ago, the ultimate tool for good. It was used to make endless amounts of water, and endless amounts of food. We never even thought of how it could be used for evil. Then one day it was gone… We thought it lost to the universe millennia ago…”
“How is that thing a rod?” Drexx asked confusedly. The holographic thing in front of him was clearly a necklace and not a rod.
“The rod takes the form its owner choices. Annihilus chooses for it to be a necklace it would seem.”
Another wipe of his hand and a picture of an armored alien appeared. The necklace was around his neck. It was Annihilus in all his glory, or perhaps all his terror. He was well over six feet tall, but not yet seven. His armor was green and purple, a helmet over his head but no eyes shown through, no mouth either, yet a feeling of unspeakable evil radiated off of him, even as a hologram. Drexx shuddered, as did everyone else in the room.
“The Annihilation Wave killed many of us, but not all. Out of all of our scientists, one remained. Maku.” The name elicited a reaction from Orenji and Kiiro, but Drexx wasn’t sure why.
“Maku was able to deduce that the control rod was Annihilus’s source of power. Were he to be removed from the rod, he would die and the wave with him.” A hologram of neural receptors appeared before them.
“These are the neural receptors of the entire Annihilation Wave. It is a hive mind. They do Annihilus’s bidding, but they also fight with his skill. So our plan? Our plan is to regain the rod, and end the wave. This is why you are a Zuk-send. You are a zuk-send because I sense within you the power to defeat Annihil—” The entire room shook and Zythis looked around concernedly. A solider stumbled into the room, blood seeping out of his forehead like lava. Zythis rushed to him and took him into his arms.
“I--- was on a survivor run they… the wave… is here.” The solider fell dead in his arms. Zythis cried out in grief. Drexx looked from Orenji to Kiiro and then made his way down the hallway. He and Orenji were about to have their first confrontation with the wave.
He burst through the doors of the bunker, hopefully with Orenji not too far behind, and was stunned at what he saw. Stretching out over the sands in front of them was the annihilation Wave, and not even in its entirety, there were thousands of them.
“Crap.” It was all the android could say. It truly expressed his emotions. Then they noticed him. Like their name they came, a moving wave of chitin and metal. Teeth whirring and snapping.
“I’ll take the million on the right, Orenji you take the million on the left, Kiiro… hide in the bunker?”
Drexx raised both hands in front of him and launched his wrecking ball attack through the wave, vaporizing a line of them but still they came. Drexx launched into the air, only to find that they could fly as well. His khopesh and shield deployed and he went to work, slicing through metal and chitin. They cut at the android, but he was a whirring cyclone of death for the wave.
A towering claw smacked into the android and halted his progress. The owner of the claw was at least thirty feet tall, green with glowing red eyes. Six legs supporting a massive body. It lifted him up into the air and as one the wave spoke.
“How dare you defy Annihilus! How dare you defy the wave! Like the others, you will perish.” The creature’s claw began to crush the android, his body creaking in defiance. Eye-beams shot out of him as if they had been squeezed, they caught the giant in his eye leaving a smoking hole where his eye had been.
They were fighting the wave; Drexx just hoped they could hold out.

Orenji turned around to see that the hologram of the globe was gone and an image of a necklace appeared in its place. He was confused as to why Zythis made this image appear in front of the trio. Orenji returned to his seat next to the mother and child, Kiiro also returned back to his seat.
“This is the cosmic control rod. Our scientists invented it long ago, the ultimate tool for good. It was used to make endless amounts of water, and endless amounts of food. We never even thought of how it could be used for evil. Then one day it was gone… We thought it lost to the universe millennia ago…”
Orenji heard Drexx’s question and was confused himself as to how the necklace was connected to the rod. Zythis went on to explain that the rod will take the form of its owner chooses, so apparently Annihilus chose the form of a necklace. Orenji starred at the necklace, wondering how they were going to remove it from Annihilus. It was going to be a challenge, but it has to be done in order to save Migan.
“So Orenji have you thought of a way to take down Annihilus yet? It looks like our job has gotten a bit more challenging since the weapon in a necklace.” Kiiro whispered to Orenji
”No Kiiro I haven’t thought of anything, Thank for telling me that our job has gotten harder. I couldn’t tell since the weapon is around his neck. Now I am going to need you to focus and not point out the obvious, if you don’t mind.”
Orenji looked back at the necklace; he sat back in his chair, beginning to think of possible ways to get that necklace from Annihilus. He looked over at the mother and child, he noticed Migan’s necklace hanging around the child’s neck. Orenji knew he couldn’t let Kiiro see that necklace, he would demand it back.
“These are the neural receptors of the entire Annihilation Wave. It is a hive mind. They do Annihilus’s bidding, but they also fight with his skill. So our plan? Our plan is to regain the rod, and end the wave. This is why you are a Zuk-send. You are a zuk-send because I sense within you the power to defeat Annihil—”
Orenji was confused as to why Zythis stopped talking suddenly, but he looked up to see a Kalavarian stumbling into the room. He could clearly see the wound on the head of the soldier, Orenji jumped out of his seat, making his way over to the soldier.
“I--- was on a survivor run they… the wave… is here.”
“The Annihilation Wave!” Kiiro said
Orenji noticed Drexx burst through the bunkers doors, he quickly jumped up and followed Drexx out of the bunker. He looked out to see the sea of sand, covered with bug like creatures. There were just so many creatures in front of them. Orenji couldn’t figure out how they were going to defeat them all, there were just too many of them.
“I’ll take the million on the right, Orenji you take the million on the left, Kiiro… hide in the bunker?”
“What do you mean hide in the bunker!?” Kiiro said
“I think he is right Kiiro, you should go back in the bunker and protect the families inside. Yeah that sounds good to me Drexx.”
Kiiro begrudgingly turned around to enter the bunker, shutting the door behind him. Orenji looked over to see Drexx attacking the wave. He looked over to see creatures, which were standing before him. He ran into the crowd of creatures sending ki blasts off in different directions. The blasts killing each and every creature that they hit. Orenji jumped into the air, charging up a Dodonpa Ray sending it to the ground. The explosion created a cloud of sand, he quickly dropped back to the ground, and there was a clearing where the blast had hit. He looked around to see the creatures continuing their assault on him.
Orenji materialized a shield on his right hand, and activated his Ki No Tsurugi on his left hand. As the creatures got closer Orenji was quick to cut them in half and move on to the next group of bugs. Orenji continued doing this for several minutes gutting creature after creature. But it felt like he was killing the same creatures over and over again. Suddenly out of nowhere a bug hand smacked into Orenji’s back, sending him flying through the crowd of Bugs.
”What the hell was that?” Orenji said standing back up
A giant green creature ran through the bugs, killing anyone that got underneath him. He made his way back over to Orenji, trying to smack him again, but Orenji was able to get out of the way.
”You are so small and pathetic, how do you expect to beat Annihilus?”
”Small and pathetic? You have no idea Annihilus, we are going to kill you.” Orenji said turning into his Great Namek form, he could see the expression on the creatures face change.

The wave came on and on, not matter how many Drexx managed to put down there seemed to be more in their place. His sword slashed through metal and chitin, his ki attacks blew up bodies and his beams cut through like a hot knife through butter. He kicked out and too another down, looking for Orenji in the sea of bodies, but finding no trace of the Namekian. Kiiro had done what he was told and shut the bunker door.
“You cannot hope to overcome us. We are the unending.” The voices came from all around.
The wave seemed incapable of being completely killed. Drexx lifted his arms and small laser cannons lifted out of each. He spun in a circle and the laser cut all around him, cutting in half the closest of the wave around him.
A large bug-alien stood in front of him and roared a roar separate from from the hive-voice of Annihilus. Drexx could tell that this creature was primal, and even though controlled by Annihilus it still had its own animal instincts. It was also massive, at least twelve feet tall and bristling with chitin covered muscle. It foamed at the mouth, charging Drexx and throwing him through the air. Claws reached out to try and slice him as he sailed over parts of the wave.
Drexx spun on the ground and activated the Eye of Horus the image appearing before it blew up with ki sending the insectoids flying in each direction. Drexx had never been a part of a battle on this scale; it was mainly one on one. He was thankful for his adaptive fighting style and his plethora of moves. Silver thick fluid spread out over Drexx’s head and ran down the rest of his body. The wave showed no use of ki based attack.
A claw slammed into the protector, but nothing occurred. The Arthrians stood around him in confusion.
“You have some form of defense? No matter. The wave adapts. Annihilus conquers.”
A beam of energy hit Drexx in the back, He toppled forward and the wave was upon him, the weight of all of them pressing hard into his back and driving the android face down. They clawed at his back but the silver shield protected his skin.
Then the ki blasts began. It was either ki or some other form of energy, but it hurt none the less. Drexx deactivated the silver shield, the claws came back. The Eye of Horus bought him some more time, but it felt like they were right, that the wave seemed limitless.
“Do you realize? Do you now realize how futile it is to fight against the wave?” In a desperate place in his heart Drexx thought Annihilus was right. How could anything fight off something like this? Something like the wave.
He slipped into berserker drive, a final hope, if he was stronger he could take out more of the wave. He flew into the air and his uni-beam port slid open. The giant white beam rocketed from his chest and disintegrated a long line of the Arthrian warriors.
The small laser cannons lifted out of his arms once more and sliced through the aliens all around them. Where was Orenji, and was he alive? When would the wave end? Would they be able to kill enough? Would they die?
[/li][li] Cutting Lasers: Small Laser cannons lift out of Drexx's arm, which he can fire continually and have a range of sixty feet. He often uses these to spin in circles firing from his arms to dispatch multiple enemies around him. [/*]

Orenji stood across from the giant green-skinned bug, The creature almost seemed surprised that Orenji doubled in size. Orenji looked at the creature and smiled, there was no way him and Drexx were going to lose against this wave. He charged at the bug, spearing him to the ground, Orenji then proceeded to kneel on top of the creature. He then began to smash his fists into the creatures face over and over again.
”All of you are going to die! Where is Migan? We are going to get her back! Annihilus I know you can hear me. We are coming for you and there is nothing you can do to stop us.”
Orenji lifted both his hands into the air, locking his fingers together. With great force he slammed them down into the bug’s face, crushing its skull. He got up from the bug’s corpse and looked around, he charged ki blasts in his hand and began rapidly shooting them off in different directions. Hundreds of bug creatures were getting killed, but it still didn’t matter.
”There are just too many of them, how are we going to fight all of them. I don’t know where I am and I have lost sight of Drexx.”
Annihilus’s voice began to come from every direction
”Do you really think that you can defeat Annihilus! As for your friend Migan, you are never going to see her again she is mine now. Your journey here is going to end in disappointment. Leave now and I won’t take your pathetic lives.”
Orenji began to charge a ki ball in his hands the ball began to solidify and several layers of light orange ki began to form around it. Orenji launched the ki ball straight ahead, once the ball got close enough to the creatures. The first light layer of Ki rapidly expanded sending bug creatures flying through the air. The ball continued moving forward every foot another layer of the light orange ki rapidly expanded sending creatures into the air. Once the final layer of ki expanded outward the ball faded away. Orenji was trying to learn this for a while, Orenji named it Shockwave.
”You see Annihilus you cant stop us! No matter how many you throw at us we will pull through!”
Orenji began to build up more ki balls like the one he formed earlier. He began to throw them in several directions, sending the enemies flying through the air. Orenji desperately looked around trying to find Drexx, not seconds later he looked into the sky and saw Drexx launching a unibeam down at the invaders. Drexx then flew back towards the ground, Orenji once again lost sight of him. There was just too many of them, but numbers wasn’t going to stop them.
”DREXX WHERE ARE YOU!”
Orenji ran to where he thought Drexx would be fighting, He once again materialized a shield in his right hand and activated Ki No Tsurugi in his left hand. He began slashing his way through the invaders, there were too many to count. A sea of bodies were building up behind Orenji as he cut his way through the sea of creatures. He had no idea if he was heading in Drexx’s direction or not. Orenji swung his hand in an arc from left to right, cutting through several small bug creatures.
”Where are you Drexx? We need to push them back somehow.”
Orenji made the shield disappear, same with the Ki No Tsurugi, He once again began to charge the same ki orbs in his hands that he had done previously. He launched them forward creating a huge gap in the sea of invaders. When the two orbs disappeared, Orenji spotted Drexx fighting against some on the creatures. Orenji quickly ran through the gap he had just created, before more creatures began to pile in. Orenji got within a few feet from Drexx and turned around.
”Drexx we need to find a way out of this, and I think we should think of something fast.”
Technique Learned: Shockwave: Orenji charges a orange ki ball in his hands, that ball will solidify. Then 3-5 light ki barriers are put around the ball. It is then sent in a direction, after a few feet the first layer rapidly expands out sending opponents flying into the air. Each foot after that another layer expands out till every layer is gone, then the ball dissappears.

Just like they came, the wave pulled back. Why? Drexx stared out over the sands as they retreated. Then he heard the sound. A roaring like a freight train bearing down on an insect. He turned and saw the storm. The storm was nothing like the one he had experienced before. He turned to Orenji, seeing the Great Namek clearly after the retreating of the bug-like creatures, carapaces littering the area all around them.
“We have to get back into the bunker!” The android tried to yell over the roar of the storm. Wind was whipping up around them, sand starting to strike their skin like bullets. What would they do if they were left out in the storm? Would it kill them?
The sand picked up all around them and whipped past them, reducing the visibility and limiting Drexx’s sensors. He remembered the globe. He looked in the direction he had last seen Orenji at and started trudging through the storm towards him. His cloak had been ripped off by the wave, and only the android’s hand protected his eyes and mouth from the sand.
“ORENJI!” he called out to the storm, if his friend was anywhere not within a foot of him he wouldn’t be able to find him. Drexx swore loudly and trudged on, going in circles, or at least meaning too. The storm raged around him and he lost sense of where he was. Electricity crashed down next to him, turning the sand to glass.
“ORENJI!!” He called out again, his mouth filling with sand. He stopped calling out. There was no way the namekian could hear him, and no way they would be able to find each other in this storm.
After what felt like an eternity, the storm parted. Drexx was nowhere he recognized, and nowhere near Orenji. A city stretched on before him, the streets covered with sand, maintenance clearly not something done anymore. Drexx trudged down the dune into the city. If there were any survivors he would want to be able to help them, and he wanted to find a private place to get sand out of places where sand shouldn’t be.
The devastation of the wave was incredible, even in this, a smaller of the cities. The android wandered the streets, avoiding the toppled buildings and the remnants of those who had lived in there before. Where did Orenji find himself? Had he been able to make it back to the bunker? More importantly… where was he? A skittering noise jolted the android to attention and caused him to spin. A tiny face stuck out from the rubble of a downed building. Drexx bent down to inspect it further and it scurried off. He turned around and bunches of small Kalavarians stood behind him.
“Whoa where did you all come from.”
“Did you come with the wave?” A small child at the front asked. It was clearly a female, fire read locks of hair tied up into two ratty pig-tails. Her eyes were full of fear and wonder of the android.
“No I didn’t. I came to find a friend of mine. Do you know Migan?” The little girl shook her head, and Drexx felt the tip of an arrow press against the back of his neck. He spun and snapped the arrow on the back of his neck. A tall Kalavarian stood holding the bow, staring at the broken arrow tip.
“Can I help you?” Drexx asked politely. The beings face turned a deeper shade of red. He lowered his bow, and those around him lowered their makeshift weapons as well.
“What are you all doing here? Zythis has gathered the rest of the survivors in a bunker out in the desert.”
“Zythis!?” The little girls face lit up. “Papa!?”
So the little girl was Zythis’ daughter. That meant somewhere out there Zythis had another child as well, as all Kalavarian’s were born in twos.
“Your father is safe, I can bring you to him if you like. Where is your sister?”
Her face scrunched up as if someone had just taken her favorite toy from her. Drexx knew in an instant what had happened, the Kalavarians experienced more pain from the loss of their other half than any other species could even begin to know. The other children looked at him expectantly. Did they have surviving parents as well? Or had the android arrived just to give them false hope. The android looked out into the desert. Would he be able to find his way back to the bunker?

Orenji stood across from Drexx, both of them facing the oncoming creature horde. It appeared that the creature’s numbers were never ending. Out of nowhere the duo could hear a loud noise. Orenji saw Drexx look behind him, and Orenji did the same. Coming over the sand dunes was a gigantic sand storm; this storm was nothing like they have seen before. Orenji looked back at Drexx, who was looking at him.
“We have to get back into the bunker!”
Orenji looked back at the storm that was rapidly approaching, he knew that there wasn’t enough time for them to get back to the bunker. Orenji quickly shot his hands into the air and activated Seraph’s Shield the orange bubble popped up around Orenji. Quickly sand began to whip around Orenji, Drexx soon disappeared from sight and once again Orenji had lost Drexx in the sand. He wanted to go out in the storm and look for Drexx, but he knew he could get buried under all the sand.
”God dammit this planet is starting to get annoying. These sudden storms are going to be the death of me. When is it going to end?”
Orenji was beginning to grow tired, keeping the shield up was draining his energy quickly. What felt like hours of sand being whipped around him. But eventually the sand storm passed, and with that Orenji brought his hands down deactivating Seraphs Shield. He looked around to see if Drexx had stayed in the same spot, but he was gone. He lifted off of the ground to try to get a better vantage point, for looking for Drexx, but still nothing.
”This isn’t good, where could he have gone? What made him think walking around in the storm was going to be a good idea. Who knows where he is now, how am I going to find him?”
Orenji slowly descended back to the ground, hoping on the way down to catch Drexx somewhere around him, but there was once again no sight of him. Orenji looked around again confused on where to go, he had no idea how close or how far he was away from the bunker. Suddenly he heard a noise of a door opening about 5 feet to his left. Orenji turned to see Kiiro stepping out of the bynker, followed by Zythis and a few Kalavarian warriors.
“Orenji, you are still alive!” Kiiro said running over to Orenji
”Yeah Drexx and I were fighting those invaders, until a gigantic sand storm washed over us. I lost Drexx in the storm, and I have no way of finding him.”
Orenji was tired and needed rest, he slowly began to make his way back to the bunker.
”Zuk-send I am glad that you were victorious in repelling those creatures. Now get back inside before another storm happens. Who knows when the next one is going to happen.” Zythis lead Orenji and Kiiro back into the bunker, shutting the door behind them. Orenji made his way back into the sleeping area of the bunker and sat in the corner of then room. He had to meditate to get some of his energy back before the Annihilation Wave came back. His silence was taken from him when he felt a small hand tap his shoulder. He opened his eyes to see two Kalavarian girls standing in front of him. One of them was the girl from before, the one that has been wearing Migan’s necklace.
”Can I help the two of you with something? I need to rest before those creatures come back and try to get in here.”
“Is it true that you and your friend fought the wave?” the one with the necklace said
”Yes, we did and it is exactly that why I need to rest and get ready for if they come back.”
“But they won’t come back you and your friend killed them all right” The Kalavarian girl without the necklace said
”No, we didn’t get the chance to destroy the entire horde. There were too many of them for us to handle. All we were trying to do was make sure they didn’t get down here and hurt any of you. We were successful in that, but the invaders might come back.”
Suddenly the two Kalavarian girls wrapped their arms around Orenji, both giving him a hug. He didn’t know what to do or how to react. Orenji wrapped his arms around the two girls, then let go. The two kalavarians girls both yawned and sat down in Orenji’s lap. He was once again confused as to what was going on, this type of thing had never happened before. He wanted to get up and find another place to meditate, but instead he just leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes.
