While Katashi and Dr. Genjou hung around in the area where Souka had been upgraded, Souka walked far beyond the area where the fountain was into a green field of grass and flowers. He scoffed at the small plants around him and pondered, "Why does the place I have died in look like a field of flowers? It should be more "scary" as humans tend to sometimes think of the afterlife."
He decided to it was time to test out his upgrades and see the kind of weaponry his arsenal might be able to access. He wheeled around on his feet and two hundred yards from him could see a lone giant sycamore tree in the distant.
"Perfect..." he uttered from his lips as he delved into the programs into his head. In an instant, one of them activated an a long barreled canon popped out from his right shoulder.
"What could this be?" he wondered as the answer was soon given to him by the computer programmed into him, "This is your tank destroying canon, or better known as the shoulder canon, X89. It fires an energy blast the equivalent of a single round fifty pound shell that can rip easily through walls and buildings before exploding."
Souka took in this information and told this computer, "I suppose I should fire it then to test it."
The computer complied and voiced, "Right away sir," before adding, "I would like you to take note that your systems for your current machine gun have been converted into pure energy i.e. now all the metal bullets you use could possibly by fired off as energy, it is much more efficient than what you had, but you shall need to test this."
Souka nodded and focused his eyes on the target. He charged his gun and could feel a slight vibration in his shoulder as the energy amassed. Fiver seconds later the shot was fired and a powerful energy bolt ripped through the air and smashed into the tree two hundred yards away. The tree exploded in a pillar of fire and the ground around it was left completely charred. This was only one small capability of his new powers.
New Technique:
Shoulder Canon- The user fires off an energy blast from a canon on their should. This energy attack is equivalent to a fifty pound tank shell that can rip through buildings and other objects before exploding. The maximum distance on this attack is two hundred yards.
