Orenji was once again traveling through the Great Plains, landing on top of one of the mountains. His surroundings were quiet, the only noise came from the wind hitting into Orenji. He made his way to the center on the mountain top. Sitting down crossing his legs, Orenji began to meditate. He had just learned that Ancient City was destroyed and every one there was killed.
”I am supposed to be a protector, but I can’t even protect the Namekians that live here. I can’t even protect my planet. What kind of protector am I, I have failed everyone. I fi can’t even save my own planet How can I be part of a group that wants to protect other planets.”[/i]
Orenji kept going back and forth in his head, doubting himself on being a protector. Hours passed; eventually Orenji’s mind went drifted off. Soon enough he began to in vision in his mind each person that he has come across in his past. Drexx, Kaz, and Sohko appeared before him.
”These are the people I joined up with to protect the weak, Yet I haven’t seen two of them for years now. More than likely they are dead and have been for a long time. How are two of us supposed to protect innocents from the strong? When we can’t even stop the slow destruction of Namek. We are failing! I AM FAILING!”
As quickly as the three appeared, they were gone. Soon after Migan, the Mentor, Ari, Bia, Tina, Kai Lung and The Cheetah, along with Zythis and Aythis appeared before Orenji. All of them were looking down at him.
”I have tried to protect all of you, bit have failed in one way or another and for that I am sorry. I have failed as a protector and there is nothing I can do to change that now.”
Tina’s facial expression turned to anger as she walked up to Orenji, reeled back her left hand and slapped him in the face.
“Man up Orenji, What you mean you have failed us. You and Drexx defeated Hogg, saving all of those creatures and returning my locket.” Tina said
”That may be true Tina, but all the death Hogg caused before that. I had to kill three creatures to get to him. For someone who is supposed to save lives, I have taken away more than that.”
Tina just shook her head and was going to smack him again, but was stopped by Migan. Ari and Bia walked up to Orenji looking him in the eyes. Orenji saw their white eyes piercing his body, their innocence was overwhelming.
”Orenji stop saying these things.” Ari said
”You haven’t failed, you saved us, saved our people.” Bia said
”I may have saved the two of you, but I failed to save your mother, I failed Kiiro!” slamming his fists into the ground ”Annuhilus killed billions of your kind and continued to kill more after I arrived. I failed there as well, Protecting people is all I have known and yet I still can’t save my own planet. Time and time again my own village gets attacked and there is nothing I can do to save it. I have seen hundreds of my people die, while I sat back and did nothing. NOTHING!”
Migan and the rest of them disappeared, Kuro was then suddenly standing before Orenji smiling.
“Well I am glad that you have finally admitted it Orenji. The fact that you are a failure, I single handedly attacked our village, killed our people and where were you? Nowhere in sight! How can you call yourself a protector, when I killed you myself.” Kuro said laughing
”I did what I had to do to save my village! The only way to satisfy your bloodshed was you taking my own life! I did what I had to do Kuro! I may have not saved everyone, but if I didn’t give into you a lot more would have died!”
Kuro slowly began to disappear laughing, Drexx appeared in front of him, Migan standing next to him.
”Exactly Orenji you did what you have to do to save people. Imagine what would have happened if we didn’t kill Hogg, Annihilus or Arthis? The amount of destruction would have been doubled. You are a protector Orenji, don’t you say otherwise. What you have done you have done for the better. Now snap out of it, your planet needs you, The Namekian race needs you!”
”Orenji you have done great things in your life, now is not the time to contradict everything that you have accomplished. Please Orenji come back to us.”
“Face it Orenji you are nothing but a failure, you have failed everyone you have crossed paths with.” Kuro said reappearing next to Migan
”No, you are wrong Kuro! YOU ARE WRONG! I am not done protecting people yet. I haven’t failed, I can’t fail. There are too many people that are counting on me! Kuro your words mean nothing to me, get out of my head. NOW!!”
Orenji snapped out of it, opening his eyes. Something changed inside Orenji.
”I am not going to fail anyone on this planet! I am going to save Namek now and in the future”
Power began to run through Orenji’s body, something inside him unlocked. A barrier had been broken; he was now at a power that he didn’t think he could get to. This was a level that he thought was impossible to get to. With this newly found strength he was going to save his planet.
(Unlocking Super Namek…If the person grading this doesn’t think how I got it makes sense, let me know and I will change it)
