Bio: On Niwa, a planet where the dominant form of life was plant life, the animals took on a sort of symbiosis with the flora of the area. These strange, half-plant half-animal creatures eventually evolved into the sentient life on the planet today. The Niwaans have found ways to harness their plant ancestry through the manipulation of their ki. Their plant DNA means they can photosythisise and they age at a third of the rate that humans do.
Ayame was born as the princess of Niwa, and for the first few decades of her life she was pampered and waited on. Even though she hated the life of the future queen, she had no choice but to comply with the wishes of those around her. Thats not to say that she didn't rebel every now and again, and those in charge of watching her always had their hands full, even as she got older. Throughout her childhood she was tutored on a variety of subjects including martial arts, diplomacy, survival, and several interplanetary languages. On the 60th anniversary of her birth she was told to go on her coming-of-age journey. Like her ancestors before her, she needed to travel the galaxy until she realized her true self. Only then would she be allowed to return and take her place as queen.
Finally glad to be gone from the planet that had oppressed her for so long, Ayame decided to head to an inhabited planet about as far from Niwa as she could get: Earth. Promising herself she would never return home, she blasted off to Earth, planning to begin her lifelong journey there.
