Diane lived like this, ignorant of her true heritage, until she was 15. On one seemingly normal day an alien spacecraft landed in the fields of their farm, and from it came Diane's birth father, a saiyan. Her newly appeared father claimed that Diane was a half-alien, and he commanded that she join him to their home planet. This command was met with Diane's fury, but she was no match for her saiyan father. Her attack was returned without mercy, and she was defeated outright and shipped unconscious to planet Vegeta.
Part 2- While on planet Vegeta Diane's father enrolled Diane in the Saiyan Warrior Academy where, despite regular protests and escape attempts, she was taught in the ways of the saiyans. She learned how to hone her battle skills, acquiring abilities such as Bukujutsu and her signature Ki Pulse. All the while she searched for a way back to Earth, worried about her sibling's well-being. Unfortunately her father and her instructors at the academy kept a strict watch on her, preventing her from making any moves to escape. They soon realized, however, that no amount of punishment or negative reenforcement would dissuade her from attempting to flee the planet. She was as stubborn as a mule, and made monthly escape attempts for the duration of her stay on Vegeta. When she turned 19 she graduated from the Saiyan Warrior Academy. The night of her graduation ceremony, still nursing wounds from her attempt from the night before, Diane escaped to a space pod, setting a course for Earth. Although her father tried to stop her with force she eluded capture, sustaining substantial damage to her ship.
Part 3- The journey was long, and Diane's space pod threatened to fall apart at any second. Upon reentry into Earth's atmosphere, the ship began to crumble, and Diane crash landed in the middle of the wilderness. She wandered aimlessly for weeks, unable to properly feed herself due to her injuries. Though she was exceedingly durable, she was slowly succumbing to hunger, thirst, and exhaustion. By some miracle, Diane stumbled upon Uub's Victory School. Staggering in, she finally collapsed onto the floor, her injuries and poor health leaving her at the brink of death.
