The sounds of people hammering, drilling, yelling at one another and just the constant strain of the excessive noise had worn down on Kazama nerves. He had been more than patient as he tried to collect his thoughts after what had happened on the ship for returning to Earth. Zach had been clearly belligerent but Kazama was in no position to talk either as he was far from being respectful. That was far from the most opportune time to challenge Zach on many of his views especially with Geurin missing in action after the destruction of Vegeta. Geurin however did show up soon after returning to Earth there by defusing the situation. It was at that time that Kazama questioned where he would be staying in the mean time. While he would prove to be a powerful ally to the Prime Minister of Earth he was also a very large liability to him as well. There was the ban and registration of aliens which would fly in direct face of Geurin’s alliance in Kazama. Then add to the fact that Geurin had explained that there was situation where a Majin had decimated Central city and Masu’s memories of attacking helpless civilians Kazama knew that he could not be in the spot light. At least not yet anyways instead Geurin opted to stash the Majin in the basement of the Super Dome while it was being constructed.
For a while Kazama was able to catch on the sleep he felt like he had much needed but soon his mind began to wander. That coupled with the sounds of the machinery soon eliminated the possibility of going back to sleep to the utmost extent. So soon he found himself wandering through the shadows in the day watching the human workers scurrying around the work site. It was actually rather impressive how quickly the stadium was being constructed. Compared to the arena that he had initially fought Zach in this was a fighting god’s palace. At one point he saw them tinkering around with what looked like gravity equipment. Kazama’s new personality, which he had not fully gotten a handle on, decided to have some fun by using his telekinesis he managed to trap a group of six workers in the gravity equipment’s area of effect. It had caused so much panic on the work site that three more people in the equipment’s field of effect. Kazama had found it so funny that he had nearly fallen off of his perch high in the Super Dome.
But soon the very presence of the workers began to irritate the Majin. He had had his fun with them by stealing all of their food, melting their tools to the ground, trapping workers in little tricks of his and anything else that came to mind. However the novelty wore off when he discovered that in order to make sure Geurin’s little dome finished on time for the fight between Zach and Jorlaxl the workers began to continue production around the clock. On top of that they continually began to stumble upon Kazama’s hiding spots.
It was early one morning when the first worker discovered Kazama just sitting in the stands of the arena. At first the guy had yelled at him over being there thinking he was some kind of kid but when he got closer he discovered what Kazama actually was. The man nearly fell down the stairs to the seats as he backed away in fear. He went off and told everyone he could find and soon a crowd began to appear by the Majin. Kazama had remained silent the entire time until around high noon when the foreman came to yell at his workers for slacking off. It was at that point that he discovered Kazama. Then with his graceful tact he addressed the Majin.
“Hey! Freak! What do you want? My men are trying to make our deadline for the Prime Minister.” The foreman barked. Kazama however remained staring down at the empty arena only imagining the crowd’s loud roar of cheers as the two combatants poured every ounce of their energy into the fight trying to best one another. It had somehow become strangely hypnotic to him.
“Hey! You gotta move! My men need to get back to work!” The foreman barked again as he trudged up the steps of seating. His crew tried to pull him back but he did not listen and continued on. He marched right up to the Majin and spit these words in Kazama’s face, “Leave or I am going to make you leave!” It was at this point that Kazama began to fall back into reality. However it seemed that it was not quick enough for the pushy, overweight, smelly foreman who reached down and grabbed Kazama’s arm. Instantly he stopped as soon as he made contact with the Majin’s arm. Kazama’s eyes snapped to the side to find the sight of the foreman had nearly defecated his pants. No doubt he could feel the raw power exuding from Kazama now that he had directed his focus. The color drained from his face and the man began to stammer.
“Get me Geurin. I wish to speak with him.” Kazama stated in a monotone voice. Neither the foreman nor the group of workers moved however. “Now,” Kazama growled. At that the sound of his voice the foreman literally tripped over his own feet as he and his crew fled the nearby area. Kazama returned to his imagination as he picture the crowd that soon would adorn the seating.

"No need to shout Kazama"
Geurin's presence was both instantaneous, and elusive. As luck would have it for the majin Geurin had just been thinking about him and all the things he had planned for the red devil himself. The problem was that since his arrival they had not fully spoken on the matter. Surely the majin had questions concerning his 'employment' and about the entirety of what Geurin was trying to accomplish.
He would get his questions answered in a timely manner, for as soon as the workers were out of earshot he did appear several seats below Kazama, and spoke as if he had been there the entire time.
"What troubles you"
He said, both of his feet perched on the seat in front of him, his body entirely slouched back in his own fold-able stadium chair. Geurin grew bored waiting for the completion of his project, and the little encounters with his weapons was really the only thing that kept him engaged. Kazama and Zach were just strong enough to pose a reasonable challenge to him. Whether or not Kazama was aiming for combat was something entirely different.

Kazama never once broke his gaze down to the center of the ring. The sounds of the future fights continued to fill his head as he pictured the scenes. The victors raising their hands in the air as the fans adored the very image of their while the opponent lay motionless not very far from the victor. The opponent would not be remembered by name instead only by the amount of damage they received at the hands of the victor. Fighting was what garnered their success. In the arena they could make a name for themselves and become heroes, become beloved by all.
Geurin’s presence was unmistakable even if Kazama was trying to ignore him to the best of his ability. The Prime Minister resided not too far from the Majin. A couple of rows down in one of the thousands of empty seats, he was careful to make sure that none of the building crew noticed his appearance, he had to keep up his brand after all. Of course the way he was sitting did nothing to help that image. His green skinned body slouched in an almost unnatural angle while his ‘fancy’ prime minister clothing hung from either side of the cheaply made seat. Apparently that position was more comfortable than any of the fat cushion chairs that were stashed away in his presidential palace.
“I was not shouting,” Kazama stated with a slight glance down at the Namekian. He had a lot of questions for his old friend including when they would begin searching for the one man in the universe he wanted to see again, Sohko Masamune.
“I was merely telling them to get you. But it seems you were going to pop in on me anyways.” Kazama continued in a monotone voice. He did not want to tip his hand to the Namekian after all he served a purpose to an end just like Kazama did to him. When both had no more use for the other then the two would part ways until then there were the many grievances. “I want a new home,” Kazama snapped.
“That and I have many questions for you,” Kazama said as he turned to face Geurin finally. There was going to be some answers and the Namekian was not going to dance around them.

"Hmphmphmp"
He chuckled to himself. Kazama was right, and his inability to catch on to Geurin's sarcasm was amusing. Kazama was a rare breed of creature capable of instilling fear in other beings with little effort. Granted Meishi had ruined the good name of these creatures for everyone, but Kazama was different. Geurin knew very little about the majin and that was the best part of having him on the team. He was a wild card, and Geurin loved playing with wild cards. The Namek was the only person to see Kazama at his full strength that day on vegeta, at least the only one to live long enough to tell about it. He had been content with the weakly Masu, but now it appeared an even stronger monster was here for him.
The question however was just how far could he get Kazama to go. He knew little about the moral implications facing the red demon, and whether or not he could be corrupted to do his bidding. Answering his questions was the first sure fire way to know what to expect.
"Pick your favorite place, and you can have it"
Being Prime minister had its advantages, he could get whatever he wanted and that meant Kazama did not have to live here. Frankly Geurin had a mansion of his own in the heart of Satan that Kazama could use, or even just have. However Geurin figured the majin to be more of a quiet type considering what little problem he had caused in his time here. If that were the case there were plenty of quiet places all around for him to rest.

Geurin’s frankness with giving the Kazama any house he ever wanted was something that amused him. It was an opening question to a much longer conversation that would define how Kazama’s new role on Earth was going to play out. However Kazama could tell Geurin was doing the slow start of the dance of any combat or conflict resolution. He was feeling out what the situation was like and then would calculate a plan to benefit himself. Geurin had done the same thing when they had originally met when he saved him from the two Icers that Sohko left him to die with.
“I want to live in the Prime Minister’s palace.” Kazama stated in absolute resolve. He was not going to back down on this. The Majin was tired of living in the shadows and frankly now was the time to start to emerge from them. He was going to become a defender of Earth from the Solar Saiyan Imperial threat that was coming. It was only a matter of question of how he was going to be utilized.
After the answer was given Kazama rose from his seat and began to descend towards the arena. As he passed Geurin he did not turn his head. For some reason after the events on Vegeta his image of Geurin had soured a bit from the heights they were once at. Perhaps it was the fact that the mass genocide of an entire race reminded Kazama of his past or maybe it was the fact that Masu never held a great view of Geurin. In either case Kazama was careful to suppress his power so that the Namekian did not mistake his ignoring of him as some form of a threat.
Resting his arms on the final railing that overlooked the arena Kazama heard the roar of the imaginary louder than ever. It caused his hands to tremble a little bit as he listened to the cheers. Kazama wanted nothing more to be that victor in the middle of the ring to hear the fans and attendees of the stadium. The last time he had gotten in front of a crowd on Earth he had been booed heavily by the crowd and nearly run out of the arena shortly before Zach eliminated him from the tournament. That moment had resonated with Kazama since that day as both a motivating factor to seek revenge against Zach but also as a low point for the Majin. Never had he experienced as much emotional pain that day since he had left the Mezoan moons.
“Do you know what I want Geurin? Do you truly know what I want?” Kazama asked with a quick glance around the arena before glancing backwards towards the Namekian. He was still slouched in the chair despite his royal garb. Kazama thought it was disrespectful of his position to be doing so but knew there was nothing to say that was going to change it at all. “I am curious you are known for knowing your opponent’s minds. Do you know mine well enough to get the answer correct?”

"Done"
He replied, the words leaving his toothy smile. Geurin so rarely stayed at his own mansion that it went to waste rather consistently. It was well staffed, but that staff could be told not to service certain rooms. Wherever Kazama wanted privacy he would have it. But that was the least of his concerns, Kazama had bigger issues to speak of, and so he would.
"Is that what I am known for?"
He replied, watching as the Majin slowly made his way down a few rows from where he was at. Geurin was comfortable where he was, and wouldn't need to move or adjust his seating. Kazama was welcome to do as he pleased. After all, he was a tool that Geurin intended to exploit, his comfort was top priority.
"I am no psychic Kazama, I cannot read minds, or thoughts."
He lied casually. Perhaps it was obvious that he was in fact capable of doing these things, but Geurin liked to portray himself as the normal man. His mental abilities were far beyond the common creature, and most definetely above Kazama's, that much had already been proven. But he would continue, answering Kazama's question.
"I simply put my self in the shoes of others. I am empathetic towards every living being even you Kazama."
Still tip toeing around the answer, the dramatic type as he was, Geurin was almost certain he knew what Kazama truly desired. While it was still up in the air as to how Kazama would go about achieving his goals, or if he would help Geurin with his. It was clear what Kazama wanted.
"And certainly if I was in your shoes...I would want revenge"

Kazama let out a laugh. Geurin was far more cunning than the Majin was giving him credit for. To not only try and pacify Kazama’s grandiosity with surrendering his Presidential Palace so easily was something that the Majin had not prepared for. Then the dramatic dancing around of answers when questions were asked. Geurin certainly had a knack for being a politician. The only problem was that Kazama was not a member of the press corps and he was far from being as patient or gullible as they were.
“No. Well yes I would enjoy that very much,” Kazama said as he felt a sudden surge of anger rip through his body. The images of Sohko Masamune leaving him to fight the vastly more powerful Icers on his own as he fled out of cowardice, the battle was fierce but even his resiliency seemed to fail in front of their power. It was not until Geurin arrived and drove the two of them off that Kazama was able to breathe and survive. From there the Namekian took him back to Earth and helped train him to the power that he was now. “Sohko will pay one day for his cowardice.” Kazama growled.
He was able to fight back his anger though and eventually he once again returned to his semi relaxed position on the railing. He stared down at the arena once more. The images and sounds quickly followed suit and Kazama could not help but feel like this was where he belonged.
“Right now, or I should say while I sat here this morning until your pathetic little monkeys that build this place discovered me. That when I fought in a tournament many years ago now, the one that you watched, you remember the one where I fought Zach for the first time? I realized back then that I wanted something I have not had in a very long time…” Kazama trailed off thinking back to the great parades and celebrations the Mezos would throw in honor of his conquests. But those ended up being hollow celebrations as the only ones who were truly happy for Kazama were those closest to him. Zad on the other hand only cared about how much he controlled.
“What I want right now is to be cheered on by the masses. To be heralded as a hero.” Kazama said turning around to face Geurin with both hands extended out beside him indicated the future filled seats of the arena. “I want my name to be chanted by the crowds in great joy. I want to fight down there in the arena, to show them that I am one of their strongest defenders that I will lay down my life in order to protect them.” Kazama said with an air of his own grandiosity. No doubt this would amuse Geurin, Kazama noticed his mind was more eccentric since absorbing Masu and he was no longer content to hold his tongue.
“So now here is the million dollar question to you Prime Minister of Earth,” Kazama started as he walked over to the first row of seats. He leaned forward grabbing the backs of them as crutches and with a slightly crazed smile on his face asked, “What are you going to do with me? Are you going to keep me caged or are you going to let me have a little fun?”

No matter how much Geurin thought he understood the creature, Kazama was full of surprises. He had resigned himself to Geurin's service, and all he asked in return was the opportunity to fight? That could be arranged. As a matter of fact this made things much easier as if Kazama was willing to fight, nay wanting too, he would be most willing to do whatever Geurin needed, and pray tell he needed a lot. He had actually already determined the next battle following their grand opening, and Kazama would be happy to know he was going to be in front of a packed audience.
"Kazama, it seems I have in fact found someone for you to face off against. It is one of Suki's men, and a loyal one. I won't give away the specifics, but you will not be caged like some animal Kazama. You are a valuable member of this force, and as such you will be treated with the respect you deserve."
If that was all that concerned Kaz, then this problem had resolved itself. Geurin needed a packed super dome, and Kaz needed something to do. Simple as that may have been, he really did need Kazama when the time came, and so he had to press the issue from earlier just a little harder, licking the front of his teeth before continuing on.
"Although I must admit, that day...your day for revenge. It may come a bit sooner than you would imagine"
Hoping to have piked the Majin's interest the minister continued his casual position. His legs still resting on the seat in front of him, with the sun coming down on him, warming his face. Geurin always did like drama, and the more he hammed it up, the worse the drama got. Most people resisted at first, but by the end of any conversation with the master mind, you too were writhing with the new information, or misinformation depending on who you were.

The Majin let out a loud laugh as Geurin tried to bait him into becoming angry. What he failed to realize that it was no longer as easy as he would have thought it, in fact it was harder than Kazama himself knew. He had found that strange things were setting him off while the typical triggers seemed to be hit and miss. The perfect example was that at times the Majin seemed to want to tear Sohko’s head off while at the same time the next day he wanted nothing more than to sit next to him and have a laugh. Whatever the cause of this was it was actually more infuriating to the Majin than anything the Namekian could have thought of. But Kazama spun on his heel and with a quick hop sprang up three rows of seats landing on the arms of the chairs with a unique form of grace.
“You don’t say? Sohko Masamune is coming to see me? How very nice!” Kazama said in a mocking tone. This was more so aimed at getting under Geurin’s skin a little bit while at the same time trying to goat the master tactian into making a misstep.
“What I would prefer to talk about however is who I am going to get fight. So who is he? Is it a she? Is it an it like you?” Kazama started asking the questions in an impatient child like nature. “Are they powerful? How loyal were they to the WTO? How did they come into your possession? When is this fight going to occur?” Surely the barrage of questions would be able to keep Geurin on his toes; Kazama would prefer to make sure Geurin did not know exactly how the Majin thought. He had been manipulated too much in the past he didn’t want that to be the situation here. After all Geurin had brought Kazama here in order to defend the Earth against the threat that was coming.
The thing that he kept tucked far away from being exposed in any of his outer body was the idea that Sohko was coming. That is vengeance was drawing near. It was one goal that he longed to strive for to achieve in such an authoritative manner that nothing would be left of him. The Saiyan would find out what truly being a coward brought with it. He had left the Majin to die while trying to protect himself. No, when he came next Kazama would be more than happy to show Sohko what he had become since the last time they had seen each other.

In Geurin's mind there were two issue's at hand, the latter of which was the super dome and whom Kazama would be facing. The more severe issue that would be rearing its ugly head into existance was the saiyan army that would no doubt be coming to exact their revenge. And if what Geurin witnessed on Vegeta was any indication, his friend Sohko would join them in the counter measure. It didn't bother the Namek that Kazama seemed unshaken by the news, nor did it particularly bother him being called an it. The old phrase, I know you are but what am I, rang true here. No what disappointed him the most was that the red creature was more concerned with his upcoming opponent than with anyone else.
"Sorry Kaz, this time I cannot answer. I'm not sure if you have glanced at my tournament rule set, but it clearly states that no information will be given prior to the fight. You will be going in blind on this one, although it shouldn't be a problem for someone of your talents"
He said in some twisted form of flattery. Kazama had worked hard on formulating his questions well, and yet he got nothing from his prime minister, and Geurin could not be budged on this particular topic. For the first time in the conversation Kaz had been shot down. Granted the way Geurin saw it, it would be hard to complain seeing as he could contemplate it all from his new mansion in the heart of the city.

Geurin’s words depressed the Majin slightly. He was clearly not going to indulge in Kazama’s aversion to the topic that Geurin wanted to talk about. Kazama sighed and then jumped into the air and slowly rotated until he hung upside down with his head towards the seats. He drifted forward at first to the side of Geurin’s head and then ended just inches away from the Namekian’s face. Chaos was not Kazama’s strong suit but he felt like he was at least making it enjoyable to watch.
“Very well. You have been clearly trying to bait me into a conversation that is on your mind. What is it?” Kazama asked as he hung in the air. “Why do you continually bring up Sohko Masamune? Is he coming with a Saiyan army at his back looking for revenge for what happened to Vegeta?” Kazama asked in almost knowing tone. It was not that hard to pick up on that Geurin was a little sensitive to this issue.
Sohko Masamune coming to Earth. That was going to be his worst decision if it was true. Kazama would exact his revenge in a slow and painful method. The drunk could not have gotten much stronger since he ran away that day. Kazama on the other hand had increased his power almost tenfold and it would only grow even more before he arrived.
“Are you afraid I will not be strong enough to help tip the scales of war in our favor?” Kazama asked.

Satisfied at the conversation change, it would be much easier to speak with the Majin. The manner in which he entertained himself was no issue with Geurin, he could speak to Kaz regardless of how he stood, or sat, or er...floated. Now that they were finally speaking on a subject Geurin desperately needed, he would reveal so much to him.
"You and Zach had a chance to speak on the ship right?"
He said, pointing out the obvious only to set up his case. This was about far more than Sohko, as Geurin hardly knew the fellow and would just as soon let his son handle it than waste his energy pandering to the vengeance of a weaker saiyan.
"So you know that he believes the saiyans are off of our trail. Well he is very wrong. As a matter of fact we are suspect number one, and as we all know the saiyans have a shoot first ask later policy."
Geurin dropped his legs from the chair in front of him, pushing up on the arm rests of his chair in order to prop himself into a sitting up position, perhaps his change in appearance would prompt the majin to pay close attention to his next words, they after all were the most important.
"It is our job to protect this planet, Zach and I. When the saiyan's come a swift defense will be necessary to ensure that no innocents are harmed, and unfortunately if the saiyans bring the numbers we expect, we will be unable to be everywhere at once. Victory would be possible, but casualties would be great. Kazama I brought you along because i feel the power burning within you, and I feel your lust to get things done. It is that passion that has led me to value you at this time, understand that you play a very valuable role, and for that you must be ready, as it will be greater than any challenge you have faced before."
Perhaps Kaz would see this as simple flattery, and to be honest there was a bit of that present. But overall the words rang true. As they spoke an army much greater than Sohko, or Kaz, or even Geurin was rising up, and unless they worked together, there could be no victory.

The Namekian was playing to the Majin’s ego and it was working ten times over. He was chomping at the bit to get something done. Something inside of him longed for a battle a true battle. His hands began to visibly shake as excitement coursed through each of his limbs. A smile formed on his face as he visualized a revenge he had long sought for over two years. Of having Sohko’s broken body underneath his foot as the blood slowly seeped from his cuts and missing limbs. The cries of his former friend for mercy filled his ears and Kazama’s head slowly tipped backwards. A low laugh echoed throughout his chest that slowly grew into a maniacal cackle. Kazama’s hand went to his head as his laughter filled the arena. His eyes fell on Geurin and with a twisted smile.
“Point me in the direction and I will go forth and destroy all of those that threaten this planet. I will crush the Solar Saiyan Empire under my foot. They will cry out with mercy as each member is broken by our hands.” His eyes were crazed and chaotic. The battle of consciousnesses had begun within his head. While Kazama’s was the dominant it was far from in complete control and as each moment passed of picturing Sohko’s death Masu’s gained strength. It was time for the dam to begin to crack. Perhaps Geurin was ready for the monster that he was instigating but Kazama’s grasp on morality was slowly slipping away.
“Tell me, who would march beside the doomed drunk? I know that fool of a king would do so, or is he even a king anymore now that you destroyed his precious little planet? Who else? Any generals? Any loves that need to be smote underneath my power? TELL ME!” Kazama commanded with an air of insanity. However before he could let Geurin respond the Majin pointed to the arena. “Not here. Tell me there. As we fight. Tell me what I get to destroy. Let me show you the power that you have been so desperate to see.” Kazama challenged. He would not accept anything less than a yes from him. Geurin would be able to continue to pacify the Majin while at the same time training him to make sure he was able to fight on par with any challenges that would come forward from the SSE.

Kazama was eager to fight, and even more eager to learn. Geurin would oblige him the opportunity. Actually with rising tension brewing between Geurin and his own mental sanity it was always nice to blow off steam. The Prime minister couldn't go a day without pushing his body to the limit, and this would be an excellent test of not only Kazama's abilities, but Geurin's endurance. His body was still sore from his bout with Zach, and then the bone crushing simulation he had encountered. Two fingers slowly rose to his head and a gaudy smirk found plastered on his face.
"Alright, let us discuss this in detail then"
His body flickered, and reappeared in the center of the arena. With Kaz still in the stands it would appear as though Geurin was standing normally, but in fact he had already activated a simulator. Once Kaz attempted to enter the ring he would be engulfed in illusion, the moment he entered the world around him would simulate the environment Geurin had chosen, and there was no turning around or leaving without turning the sim off. It was a row of islands, each no larger than an arena themselves and surrounded by a devastating crash of waves and water currents. As if the scenery wasn't a good enough challenge, the sim came with gravity enhanced capabilities equal to that of the weakest member in the fight. In this case Kazama.
All was set, and Geurin found himself standing on one of the many arena size platforms. Their fight would be both land, air and sea. A great combination to test what a Majin is capable of. Geurin's memories were limited to what Tenshu had witnessed in the fight against Meishi, so now was his chance to get up close and personal with one of the magical creatures, and see if his investment would be worth it.
He was confident it would be.

From right in front of him to the center of the arena in a flash. The prime minister took Kazama’s mentally challenged challenge without a second thought. No doubt he was more powerful but the Majin didn’t care. Sitting idle and just talking to Geurin was boring him to no end. It was part of the reason why he threw down the challenge. With a smile Kazama charged into the arena and as he did the entire environment changed in one of a tropical paradise. Crystal blue waters as far as the eye could see which trailed off into the deep with a hungry darkness deep beneath the waves. Then as soon as he touched the ground the hidden trick that Geurin had up his sleeves. Gravity. The gravity in the arena shot up to 50 times gravity of Earth, the computer had memorized the highest he had achieved and shot instantly up to that level. Between the heavyweight weights he was still wearing and the sudden increase of gravity Kazama was ripped to his knees.
“Sneaky…” Kazama said with a smile between panting as his body began adjust to the gravity. With a grunt he seemingly sprung back up to his feet. “I see you are making sure that I am the strongest I need to be.” The Majin laughed.
The voices in spun between conversations, Masu’s voice called for pure chaos or anything on that route of thinking, Anubis X’s voice fought constantly in order to hold Masu’s in check but it all seemed to fuel Kazama’s slowly slacking grip on everything in the real world. It was like wanting to fall asleep but all that was happening was your mind was moving a million miles a minute, in two completely different directions.
The Majin pressed his hand to his as he stared into Geurin’s face. The madness was spreading through his eyes and soon he would have to battle it back once again. Perhaps he would last until the end of the fight or perhaps he would not last more than five minutes. Whatever the case was it was time for Kazama to show his worth to the Namekian ruler. He straightened his back and with a slightly pained look on his face he stated, “The first move is yours. Consider it my offer of generosity. Take it while you can Namekian, I will show you what force a Majin can truly deliver.” He finished with a smile and quick wave of his fingers motioning Geurin to come at him.
