The New Old City(Open)

It'd been a while since he had come this way, about 22 years to be exact, but he supposed it was about time. Considering the circumstances and all, rubbing the back of his head, his path took him through the some odd streets. It was hard for him to remember the exact location, but he was pretty sure he was getting close. Honestly, he wasn't sure what he was expecting, but he supposed it was better to know the truth than live with just daydreams.

When he did find the spot he was looking for, he noticed that the building was indeed different. It seemed that things had turned out for the worst, but he had already prepared himself for that. Well, he didn't believe in revenge, so there wasn't anything that he could do, but try to be ready the next time. If he could prevent others from experiencing such things, then he would.

Heading back towards the main street, he stretched his arms out, now that the depressing stuff was over, he needed something to drink. Glancing around, he tried to see where the nearest bar or restaurant might be at, things weren't quite the same, so he'd have to take his time walking around.

Ah well, at least it gave him an excuse to check out the city, and figure out how much it changed from how it was before. Never a bad thing to go exploring, that's what he believed anyways.
