(I safely believe I will be coming here following my current...rather slow thread. So I will be posting here)
Ritoru was rather bored. This was not uncommon, things just failed to impress him now. Ever since he had seen the beams of light on the lookout, his thoughts were intrigued with them. What did they feel like, and could he make such bright lights? The questions were nearly endless. What could someone do with power like that. Was it really just for show, or was it really something to be feared. He had watched Nam knock the meteor away with his blue light beam, and Geurin had smashed a part the Lookout with his green beam, so it was clear to Ru that the beams were in fact strong.
Not only that, but he had flown. He still did not know how to do that, and yet everyone seemed to be able to do it. The ability to fly was the greatest super hero feat he had ever heard, and yet everyone seemed capable of just jumping through the air and flying above the clouds. All of these cool things had just barely been introduced before he had to leave Mickey...he missed that guy. But Zach was cool too, and he looked a lot stronger. Maybe that was due to his shirtless body that showed off the chiseled physiq that he so admired, but that didn't change that Mickey had been the one to introduce him to all these cool things.
But in reality it was just nice to feel wanted. If ru had not known any better, he may have thought that the whole reason Zach and Geurin showed up was to take him away. Of course that was clearly off base since Zach and Mickey seemed to know each other. They were obviously great friends, Ru could tell these sort of things.
He was laying on his back looking at the ceiling as he counted the cracks in the main hall of the dojo walls.
Trapped in his own mind, with all of these questions burning through his thoughts. Ru was nothing less than completely and utterly bored...
Who would save him from this boredom?

"Hey there squirt. Sorry that took so long." Zach's voice cam echoing through the cavernous main corridor of the school's upper tier. He'd only gotten Ritoru to the school the afternoon before and in the time following that the administration had been hounding the blonde for the usual boring executive things. Unfortunately he knew all too well how they would just continue to pile up if he didn't humor the people that handled the business end of the establishment, so rather then having to devote a full day to business later in the week, Zach set aside an hour to take care of things today. That however as Zach also knew was an eternity to a little kid like Rito and could plainly see how bored the boy was as he entered the corridor from the main office.
"I swear, the problems you can't just punch away are the worst." Zach continued, expanding on how much he disliked keeping the boy waiting. This would be their first full day together so he wanted it to be a fun one, so far though it seemed to be anything but. The shirtless teen jogged down the corridor with his newly refitted training weights adding a bit of rumble to his approach as he neared the boy and then stood over him with an amused smile. He didn't remember being this melodramatic in his youth when he was bored but then again who remembers their youth with perfect clarity?
"Ok, we've got all day now to have some fun, I don't teach any classes until the evening." Zach stated to the prone boy. "What would you like to do first?"

The moment Ru heard the young masters voice he sprung up from his seat running to the door. Much like a dog awaiting its owners return Ru was enthralled with Zach's power. The aura he supplied was almost addictive to the four year old and so it was only right that he be excited to see him.
Running forward towards the man he listened to his rambling about buraucracy not understanding a word of it, only to innocently respond.
"Maybe youw just not punching hawd enough"
To which the child began punching the air around him, making the particles and atoms in his wake dread the day they had ever been created. He then asked Ru what he wanted to learn...what was he going to choose.
"I wanna be a fightew...no...I wanna leawn how to make those bwight lights!.....No I wanna fly! No wait...I...I...uh....I wanna do it all!!!"
He truly could not contain how awesome it was to finally be learning something. Ru's natural talent was already enough to beat up the common adult, but Zach was the head master of the Victory school, he wanted to learn from the best, and it was clear that Zach was undoubtedly the best.
His shirtless body bore a similar resemblance to zach, A hard and toned core, especially impressive for his age. And the kid was not shy about showing it off, being reasonably unashamed of his body. While most kids and even adults of this time would be slightly more modest about their choice of clothing, people were lucky if Ru even put pants on in the morning.
No doubt a piece from the mental history of his father's genes, and the wild outdoor life he had been living.

Watching Rito get up and suggest he start beating up his accountants, Zach cracked a wider smile and chuckled. He wished those problems were that easy to deal with, it would get them out of the way and give him a workout at the same time. “Hmhmhm… Wish I could.” he responded while the boy was pondering what he wanted to learn. Just watching the boy made Zach feel contented, something he had rarely felt since the destruction of his hometown. Usually he just kept himself busy so as not to think about it but with Rito around he didn’t have to distract himself. What was still tugging at him though was the fact that the boy looked so much like him, he even dressed the same. With all of the craziness at the lookout and the annoyances of the morning’s administrative work, Zach hadn’t really had time to consider the reasons why Rito looked like him and had an energy signature he could sense.
The boy replied though before Zach’s wheels could get turning on the subject so Zach once again put the thought on a proverbial back burner and considered how to start. He wasn’t entirely sure he should bring Rito to the gravity chamber just yet, at least not until he saw just what the boy could do. So with that option for the moment not applicable, Zach settled on using one of the private training gardens. “Ok Ru, how about we go to one of the gardens and we’ll start you off.” Zach stated and lowered his hand so the youngster could take it. Whether he did or not they would be off and after a minute or two of navigating the vast corridors of the school, the two would arrive at one of the private gardens reserved for the staff.

Without a second thought Ru grabbed onto Zach's hand with his opposing one. This did not stop him from continuing to punch the air with his free hand, and even begin kicking at it. Truly a terrible day for the specs of dust laying in wait for the young boy.
"We awe gonna kick so much butt!"
He said continuing to mimic a bad karate movie. It was then that Ru lost his balance. It almost felt like slow motion to him. Ever since his tail had been removed, his balance was not as good as it had been. randomly tripping, and falling was becoming routine. Of course since he was only four this would not seem any different from any other four year old. But for Ritoru this was strange.
Luckily he had taken zach's hand, and so by using the leverage of the larger man, he was able to keep on his feet, avoiding the embarrassing wipe-out.
They had made it into the Garden, it certainly was nice, and Ru had marveled over the flowers before, so this was not a new experience for him. But the fighting would be. His anticipation was killing him, he would finally be officially trained, and he couldnt wait!

As they made their way to the training garden, Rito’s enthusiasm was certainly a spectacle to behold, Zach certainly did remember ever being this amped up about anything when he was a kid. Then again as earlier he couldn’t exactly recall every moment of his own childhood with crystal clarity so for all he knew the tiny, blonde boy was an exact mirror image of him when he was that young. And so that niggling thought returned as they arrived in the garden, Rito looked so much like him and given the fact that he could sense the other’s energy signature buzzing away in the back of his head, the possibility of the boy being somehow related to him presented it’s self to Zach’s conscious mind. ‘No, that’s not it, can’t be.’ Zach thought to himself attempting to dismiss the notion. ‘I don’t even like women, never even been with one…’ he continued to himself although his own train of thought was derailed by another revelation He had been with a woman, once during those depression racked weeks and Rito was the right age to be the product of such a union. ‘No no no, not thinking about this now.’ Zach thought over the whispers in his mind loudly enough to drown them out for the moment.
Releasing the boy’s hand, Zach closed the doors that led back into the school and then walked out into the middle of the garden. There was a bit of a chill in the air as the mountainous region was entering winter but also being the head of the landscaping department, Zach had made sure the planters were stocked with flowers and other plans that bloomed with the seasons. Even though much of the garden was going dormant, the grass was still green and the cold weather foliage was as colorful as their mild weather counterparts. Having long since been tough enough to not be bothered by the chill, Zach thought nothing of it and hopefully given his already impressive abilities, Rito wouldn’t think anything of the cold either. Even if he did though, Zach would soon have the boy so physically active that the cold wouldn’t effect him anyway.
“Heh heh. Ok, first thing we’re going to work on are those ‘Bruce Chan’ moves of yours.” Zach commented and turned to face the boy. “What you see in the movies isn’t really how it’s done. It’s fun to watch but a lot of fighting is a lot less flashy and more functional got it?” Zach asked, waiting only a moment for Rito to process what he’d said and then continued. “So I’m going to show you my style and a few others that I know and you tell me which one you like the most.” the blonde added and waited to see how the boy would respond.

"Well...okay"
Ru said, the reference to Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan completely missed (but appreciated). Putting his arms down and turning to face Zach the four year old stood in a stance that Zach would know all to well, as it was the one that he himself stood in from time to time.
"Like this?"
It had been in one of his dreams, specifically the nightmare he had on the lookout about Zach, he had seen the man standing in this specific pose and had wanted to immitate it from the start, but again was caught between hollywood and reality. He was standing at the ready, his arms prepared to block his face if need be, and his legs ready to counter...
But his torso was left wide open.
Granted the child did not know the purpose of the stance, so blocking, and countering would not first jump to his mind, he would have to be taught those things, and now was the time to do it.

Watching Rito take up a defensive posture, Zach was surprised to see that it was indeed his own. The kid’s arms were up defending his head, for arms turned to face forward like a boxer and his legs were spread properly to transfer the load of an intercepted blow to the ground without losing balance. 'Ok, this is just getting weirder and weirder.' Zach thought to himself. He didn't want to keep thinking about the subject of Rito being related to him but everything about this kid was screaming something familiar. 'He looks like me and now he's got my stance down almost perfectly.'
"Yeah that's pretty good." Zach stated out loud, not letting on to the fact that he was a little disturbed by Rito knowing his defensive posture without ever having seen it. A moment later though it occurred to him that the kid may have seen him on the television, Zach was still quite the celebrity in spite of the efforts he went to to avoid the media and it was a perfectly logical possibility that this was how the boy had seen his stance. "You look just like me standing like that, only shorter. Where'd you see that posture?" Zach asked, wanting to confirm for himself that the boy had seen it in the news, otherwise things were likely to get even more bizarre.

Ritoru broke yet another grin at Zach's words. He was off to a smashing start, and certainly it could only get better from here. Zach's question seemed strange to Ritoru, and in all honesty he was not sure how to answer. However being the child that he was, there was no chance of censorship.
"I saw you do it"
He said vaguely begining to squirm slightly in place. He was anxious to get started and his small toddler esq body couldnt stand being still of this long.
"So what next?"
He asked, trying to hurry zach's thought process along a little further. He couldnt wait to learn what Zach had to teach, his deep blue eyes were riddled with temptations of violence and passion. He felt the burning, and knew he had to answer the call.

"Saw me do it eh?" Zach asked rhetorically after getting a less then informative answer from the boy. 'Oh well, at least he's starting out on the right foot and already seems to like the style.' the blonde though to himself as he regarded Rito's stance. "Ok, next up we have some proper punches, none of that flashy stuff from the TV." Zach continued and assumed an identical posture. "Try these out, watch how I move and try to copy it." he continued to instruct and then proceeded to throw short jabs at the air. Each punch was delivered to the invisible opponent standing before him perfectly, his arm extending just far enough to strike the foe but no so far as to leave himself open for attack, at least nowhere above the waist anyway.
As Zach demonstrated some basic punches, he gradually shifted from jabs to straits, hooks and the flashy uppercut, all executed with precision so Rito would have a proper example to work from. While cycling through the routine Zach pondered why exactly the child was so special and what Gurin knew about him that Zach did not. Why did he look so much like the blonde? The questions wouldn't stop bugging the teenager, not until he got some definitive answers. Then of course there was that other facet of the boy Zach wasn't quite ready to find out about, the possibility that he was in fact related.
'Could it actually be? I mean I was only that drunk once and don't even remember all of what happened. She had her hands all over me yeah but... this? And why would she just leave him for me if she had that much money anyway?' Zach though to himself as he completed the routine and watched Rito as the boy would undoubtedly be mimicking his every move. The drunken one night stand he’d had with a woman of all people some five years ago while hazy and incomplete was starting to become the foremost issue on his mind now, more so then even training the boy. Rito’s origin and whether or not he was really Zach’s son were questions the blonde teenager wanted answers to, unfortunately for him he could not remember the events of that night clearly enough to recall if the deed had in fact been done.

The boy watched, and followed instruction. The first few jabs were spot on, Ritoru really was taking to the form well. It came naturally to him as the punches flew quickly through the air at his invisible foe. The two were quite a site. Ritoru juxtaposed in front of his master, the two identical in look, and now in fighting style. The punches were as perfect as Zach's as if the boy had literally done this a thousand times before. But finally it grew old and even the flashy new tricks were starting to rattle on the boys short attention.
"Can I pwactice on something weal?"
He whined, still keeping up the pace with Zach as he continued to do the basic martial arts. The thoughts of them looking a like had not even graced Ru in some time, and while he was still intrigued by the strange colors coming from zach's fists as he shot them forward, he was far more interested in his own personal progression.
Although the colors were interesting, mostly white, and as they came out, so did a vibration in the air. Ru wondered if he was punching correctly because he could not feel that same vibration from himself. Then again Zach just had that natural aura about him. Ru couldnt really see the aura of anyone else, and so he assumed Zach was the only one who had it.

Zach was pulled from his thoughts and back fully into reality when Rito spoke up, indicating he wanted an actual target to pound on. The blonde chuckled and stepped closer, dropping to one knee in front of the boy to bring them closer to eye level and give Rito a chance to actually hit him without having to jump for each shot. "Sure, why don't we see what you have. I'll guard and you try to hit me." Zach instructed, ever volunteering to take a hit. Bringing his arms up in their usual defensive posture about his head and chest, Zach was an easy, stationary target what with being on one knee. Dodging though wasn't yet part of the equation though, first the boy had to learn to throw a proper punch, then they would move on to defensive measures. To get the best feel for what Rito was capable of Zach also opted to loosen up his usually tight defenses, blows to the midsection would be let through as always but he would also allow shots to the chest if the boy was fast and coordinated enough to get one through. This of course brought of the issue of Zach towering above the boy not physically but rather in sheer power, even in his base state with his training weights he was still significantly stronger then the youngster so he would have to compensate, slow his movements and generally try to react with the speed and coordination of someone with less then half of his fighting capability.

Zach was obviously stronger than Ritoru, his body, mind, and overall Ki was enough to prove that. But this would not stop Ru from throwing his punches true, and with as much strength as he could. The child had no clue how to regulate his energy, and so each punch would pack his full power.
"Alwight hewe it goes!"
He said throwing a quick jab with his left fist, followed quickly by his right, both aimed squarely at the masters mid section. That being the closes place to him without him actually jumping up. The punches were quick, and were repeated several times.
"Hya! Hya! Hya! Hya!"
It was rather rythmic watching the child, as Zach was likely blocking or dodging, his fists continued to barrage on the man. Any normal person would have been down on the first punch, which in and of itself was incredible, so it would no doubt impress future opponents.
This barrage finally ended only to be followed by a kick, and then another with the right leg. His left frivilously bouncing around. It was rather comical actually, although an effective tactic, it looked as though the child was literally jumping in circles around zach kicking as fast and as wildly as he could.
Zach would either have to verbally tell him to stop, or physically make him, because Ru was in the zone, and had the energy of a small child backing his finally entertained body.

{Pft, when’s the last time’s Zach blocked or dodged a body blow?}
Kneeling steadily in front of Rito with his arms up to defend his head, Zach took the first of the boy’s punches strait to his loosened abdominals with a controlled exhalation of breath. The punch was surprisingly strong for a kid his age but even with the weighted clothing stressing the larger blonde’s body and keeping himself vulnerable, the punch wasn’t anything Zach couldn’t take, his base energy hovering somewhere around 60,000. Another punch quickly followed and then two more in quick succession, all to his open midsection, the boys fists making hollow thudding sounds as they crashed into Zach’s larger frame.
The punches stopped though and before Zach could give the blonde boy any instruction or even suggest he try one of the other punches he’d been shown, the youngster leveled a kick into his midsection that drew an actual gasp from the teenager. The delivery was sloppy however and Zach made a mental note to correct that once they’d gotten punching down properly. Rito though was bouncing around him like a Mexican jumping bean leveling more kicks into his ribs and now his back and although the blows weren’t horrifically devastating, he wasn’t fighting back and the sum total of abuse he was taking was starting to mount up.
“Err… Ok… Ru, hold up a minute.” Zach finally butted in and stood up to get the boy’s target out of reach for the moment. Tensing and relaxing his back muscles along with his lats and abs, Zach took a moment to breath before swinging around to face the boy. “Your jabs are looking good but would should try to mix it up a bit. When you have an opponent they aren’t just going to sit still for you…” Zach was starting to explain but realized that if he wanted to be able to properly train the boy he would have to be able to move and not simply kneel in front of him. For that to happen, Rito would have to be able to move with Zach without having to jump around all the time, it was clear the next thing they would have to touch on would be teaching the younger blonde how to fly.
“Ok, try some of the other punches I showed you then I’m going to show you something really fun. Ok?” Zach asked and then returning to his kneeling position in front of the boy, arms up and midsection exposed.

Ritoru stopped jumping as zach spoke. He had not noticed just how ineffective his fighting had been, and as his feet planted softly on the ground the pain in his knuckles set in. Little bits of water formed in the corner of ritoru's eyes as he held up his right hand wincing.
"Owie! Youw tummy his hawd"
He said shaking the pain out of his knuckles and then watching as zach came down to his level. It didnt make sense...was he asking ritoru to punch him? The four year old pondered this idea a moment until Zach mentioned something...fun... His eyes immediately filled with thoughts of the bright lights he had seen, or of flight, or of...well...any of those cool things his dreams had brought him. If zach taught him even one of those things his day would be made.
"Ok Sensei!"
He said, biting his bottom lip and focusing on Zach's belly button. First his right fist slowly irked its way forward. Ru wanted to make sure he was aiming correctly, and so he watched the length of his arm, and even closed one eye to make sure it was right. Then without warning Ru let loose, his form Identical to what Zach had shown him earlier in the training, the punches flying out at a much faster pase. Against zach's rock hard abs the pain would likely be insignificant or even non existent. But Ritoru was doing as asked, and the punches on someone closer to his level, would devastate.
