Alexander had only really learned to fly, but it was from his own study for the most part, so landing was still somewhat... Rough. A heavy thud and a ripple in the ground around where he lands seems to herald his arrival. Landing in heavy armor was no easy task anyways, which seemed to be why most fighters did their chosen job without much armor.
As he stood up, the energy of his aura died down, the glow of his left eye slowly falling away and showing the white orb that rested within. He wasn't blind on that side by any means, seeming to watch the people who had been sparring on despite his seemingly random landing.
The sunlight seemed to dance off the purple colored armor, allowing it to shine somewhat as though he was a beacon to those who attempted to seek him out. Nothing really seemed subtle about him, as though he simply didn't care to be that way.
Many things had been said about this school, founded by an ancient hero, teaching much in terms of both life and fighting, but based upon simple ethos. Something Alex could really get behind, but so far, few had been willing or able to teach him because of his odd mix of styles and actions.
Tempted by the idea of the sword school, Alexander had instead chosen this place, to learn how to use his ki outside of his weapons a lot easier. With any luck, they would be willing to take him on as a student, perhaps allow him to learn from them in some small way and add it to himself.

As was usual this time of day, Zach was teaching one of his classes in one of the school's many outdoor gardens. As headmaster of the Victory school he had the ability to schedule his classes as he liked and as he so often did, Zach ensured the majority of his classes took place outdoors. Today was no exception and so when the school's latest guest arrived with a somewhat thunderous landing, the blonde was there to observe it. "Ok students, keep up your practice, I'll go see what this is about." Zach instructed his class. This particular group was one of the young grades, all in their early teens and all practicing punching techniques.
Turning away from his students, Zach started towards the purple armored man's landing site, observing the newcomer as he proceeded. Without the ability to feel out energy signatures, then blonde had to rely on visually assessing the man. He was young, mid twenties as best, at least that's what his face told Zach as he couldn't see anything of his body under the copious amounts of armor he wore. This though told Zach something else, their guest was inexperienced, else he would know that armor was useless once the abilities of normal humans had been surpassed. This young man obviously had surpassed them in at least one respect, he could fly, but not very well as evidenced by his landing.
"Afternoon." Zach greeted the young man. "Welcome to the Victory school, I'm the head master. What brings you here?"

Hearing the man speak caused Alex to look up and over at him. What luck, finding the head master within moments of his landing and he had already seemed to take an interest in finding out why he was here.
"Thank you for the welcome, my name is Alexander, it's a pleasure to meet you head master." He says with a bow, his armor moving with him like it was a part of him. "My reason for coming here is simple, I want to learn the arts of ki use better than what I have been shown. It was tempting to go to the Swords School, but I decided against it for now."
His swords rested on his hips, clearly they had been made at the same time as his armor, a bit of flare to them and worked carefully, the metal was probably sharp as well. "If the school has an entrace fee, I can pay it as well, as long as the teaching will help me learn what I seek."
His voice was that of one's youth, mid twenties was right indeed for the voice as well. He held himself with confidence, one who was wanting to learn, but knowing most of the basics would be far behind him in many, many ways. He looked at the blond warrior, how did he size up to the legends that surrounded this school so long ago?

"Oh? The sword school? I see. Well my name is Zach, Alexander, you can call me that, I don't much care for my title." Zach responded neutrally. The last he'd heard about the sword school was that it was headed by that fellow whom used to work for Suki, a Jorlatex or Joraxel or something along those lines. He hadn't seen the man in over five years though so the prospect of stealing a potential student away from him didn't move Zach much either way. "Well we do do a fair bit of Ki training here, although nothing involving weapons. Our lessons teach the students how to use their own bodies as weapons, after all, if your body is your weapon you can never be disarmed." the blonde continued.
"As for an entry fee, that is all handled by the administrative department. Once you've decided if you want to actually become a student here you can see them for billing, housing and such. We have dorms here at the school, a library, training facilities and three meals served every day." Zach went on, listing the schools various ammenities and then continued with a question. "Exactly what field of Ki study did you have interest in? We teach a wide veriaty of offensive, deffensive and utilitarian techniques here."

He smiled at the comment of never being disarmed, his father had heard someone say that once, and in the duel the man lost his arm. He bowed softly once more at being told to simply call him Zach. "Alright Zach, I can do that. Forgive me if I slip some times. Old habits from teachers of my childhood."
"As for what I want to learn when it comes to the study of Ki, the answer is yes. I don't have a lot, perhaps I should show you what I do know so I can be placed properly." He draws his blades slowly, turning so he was facing away.
"I don't know a lot, but I know enough to get by. I can fly, not well. And I can empower my armor with my energy." When he spoke, his eye started to glow, powering up to build up ki. His purple armor got darker, like a midnight quality to it and his swords started to glow as well, imbuded with ki and ready for use it seemed.

"Ok, if you want." Zach responded to Alexander's suggestion that he demonstrate his abilities. Then watching carefully Zach observed as the armored young man turned away, drew his blade and proceeded to charge both it and his armor with energy. The technique seems similar to Zach's own energy armor except that this young man was using his energy to augment existing protection rather then forming his own. Zach could also see that the sword he was carrying had shifted color, denoting that it as well had been augmented in some fashion. What he could not see however was that Alexander's eye, which Zach assumed was blind, had also changed color in accordance with the increased energy output.
"Interesting, it looks similar to something I developed." the blonde commented and started to walk around the young man to see everything. It was at that time he noted the changed eye color, something that prompted Zach to quirk his brow. "Hmm, that doesn't hurt does it?" he asked, gesturing to the young man's eye.

Looking to Zach for a moment, he floated above the ground for a second before landing. When Zach mentioned the eye, he chuckled some. "No, it doesn't hurt, and I can see out of it. It's strange, but I can see. I can focus my ki into the armor and blades, but I can't do as others can. I can't fire it in beams or balls or something like that without them."
He lands slowly on the ground, letting the ki flow back into himself and sighing some. "Do I have some chance to learn something here? Or am I too far behind? I should have the funds to enroll if I am accepted into the school that is."
Sheathing the swords, he looked over to Zach and relaxed some, waiting for the answer from him, and perpared to leave if things went south with the teacher. Perhaps things would go good and he get accepted and learning something very quickly.

"Oh no, quite the opposite." Zach responded to Alexander's misgivings about his capacity to learn at the school. "What you've shown me is really quite impressive. I have no doubt you will pick up more very quickly now that you are hear." the blonde continued. "As for funds, the people in the administrative office will handle that. Our rates are cheap since the school's needs aren't many and we support a large student populace."
Zach paused as he changed subjects from informing Alexander that he was welcome at the school to what curriculum he wished to study. "Now, what precisely do you want to learn? I myself can help you straiten out your flying and perhaps show you a few other tricks, among them is shooting beams from the eyes. However if you are looking for a large energy beam attack you may want to look up one of our other teachers here. Master Katsuo knows one I'm sure." Zach asked and then informed the white haired young man of some of his options. If all he wanted was aid in flying, hand to hand combat or even picking up the eye laser technique, Zach could handle it without a problem. However if the young man was looking for something outside of his expertise the blonde would have to send him to one of the other teachers. In either case though, what ever Alexander was looking for he would likely find somewhere here at the school.

"Learning to fly, focus my energy into some forms of other attacks, and non-weapon based hand to hand combat. I think it will be tough to learn more with my blades personally." Alex says, smiling some and relaxing a bit. He was happy he was allowed to learn here.
The payment would be worked out later it seemed, he didn't mind this at all. As for the laser eyes part, Alex smiled a bit. "Well, laser eyes could be useful indeed. A few times during my training I could have used them. Either way, I'm happy to be here. Thank you Zach, I will do my best to not disappoint you."
Larger, more powerful energy waves would come with time. For now, all he wanted to learn was how to balance everything out, to use the gifts he discovered he had, and work them into a means of protecting this world from harm, be it outside, or within.

"Ah, very well, it's settled then." Zach responded jovially. "We'll have a little warm-up with my class here and then when they head off for their lunch I'll personally give you your first instruction." With that, Zach motioned for the armored man to follow him back to the garden in which he'd been training the younger students in proper punching techniques. Their practice seemed to be going well and when Zach returned he eyed each one quickly and then took his place at the head of the garden, near the doors to the school interior.
"Class you may stop." the blonde announced and waited for the students to finish and take their ready positions. It was common practice in Zach's classes for the students to be in their ready postures at all times when they were not otherwise engaged. This helped the students become comfortable with their stances and ensured they would be able to assume them at a moment's notice if the need ever occurred. "Class, this is Alexander, he's joining our school. Give him a welcome and then pair off. We'll be sparring for the rest of the period." Zach instructed and a moment later the entire class issued in unison, a neutral greeting as only a group of apathetic, early teenage school students could. 'Good morning Alexander.' the reply went and then without another word the students returned their attention to each other.
Zach, knowing how embarrassing it can be for someone to join a school and more so when their arrival is met with such an unenthusiastic response, moved back towards Alex with an apologetic shrug. "Kids." he stated with an ironic chuckle. The irony being that although he had the appearance of an eighteen year old and was by all rights a kid himself, Zach was in fact now twenty three years of age putting him firmly in the range of young adulthood. He would however retain his youthful body forever, or at least as long as he lived naturally thanks to the immortality he'd been granted. And so it was, at least for him, a running gag that he would refer to people as kids even if they were in their late teens.
"Now Alex, if you care to take up a ready stance, let's see what your have." Zach continued and raised his hands, closing them into fists and positioning them up high to guard his head. He would remain that way for as long as it took Alex to attack as Zach wanted to see where the young man's fighting skills stood and more importantly, how strong he was.

{Hokay, I haven't seen or heard from Alex in... A while. I'm concluding this topic and applying for power level increase. My weights are in effect.}
