Progress Rematch [Dynammo]

Toshiro remembered back to his spar with Dynammmo, recalling the things he had to improve on. His attacks were furious but lacked focus and control, and it was mainly due to the inner beast inside him taking over his instincts to become more feral than it needed to be. So after around one and a half weeks of training in Crater Forest, he had discovered a lot about himself and had grown for such a short amount of time, the forest was just that special.

He had on his usual attire by now, shirtless with white gi pants, red belt and red bandanna with a ying-yang symbol around his forehead that also somewhat kept his long hair in place. The young warrior stood on top of a high rocky pillar within the barren deserts just outside Crater Forest. He usually was here to train extensively without destroying the lush environment that he had called home, it was better to be left alone after all. “My two weeks of training here are almost up, he’d be checking up on my progress soon I’d think,” Toshiro looked at the sky, deep in wonder. He couldn’t trace any nearby ki signals despite the view he got but he had a feeling, he’d be putting his training to the test soon enough.

Dynammo’s energy was really low as he was training his speed while using the Kami’s Guardian Special Forces Heavy weighted cape that was like the cape piccolo wore but this indigo purple flowing cape came above his flex-ware chest olate. The cape going down his back. His battle fighting power was sitting at 10,000 as he darted from tree to tree above Toshiro…he was deliberately making sound but which each step, his ki got harder and harder to sense…he began to sweat, his infected nature causing him to think like Toshiro is a soul who needs to be awakened.

”Listen Toshiro, it has been over 2 weeks…your skill must have improved somewhat…we have to depart this planet soon. But before we go, I must test you. But don’t worry…” Dynammo said telepathically to Toshiro Rei as the sound was getting lesser and lesser. I’m warming up…so don’t expect an easy match…this will be intense…no going into powerups or transformations...this is just going to be survival without powerups. Cuz god knows what we may attract if we go all out!" He concluded.

The sound then stop for a few seconds. Then Dynammo stealthly blurred a few feet in front of Toshiro Rei floating in the air facing him, his battle fighting power risen to 11,000 as he thrusts his right palm forward, his thumb tucked into his palm;discharging a red wave of energy as strong as a kamehameha wave and just as thick.

He then darted to the right, using zanzoken to blur from view and reappeared below Toshiro’s feet, on his back, facing Toshiro’s rear on the ground in less then a second. Red Furred Wolf heads quickly rushed towards Toshiro Rei\s ankles as Dynammo use the basic form of wolf fang fist to grab and hold down the White Tiger. As he did that, he also attempted to raise his legs to wrap them around Toshiro’s Neck so he’s be able to lessen his chances of evading his Ki Wave attack which was still coming.

It didn’t register to him until Dynammo was within his sight, he must have been hiding his energy because he couldn’t sense any ki from him at all until he started speaking in his head, that guy was stealthy as ever. Well it was for good reason too, they had just barely managed to escape Geurin earlier. “I see, very well. I will show you the fruits of my training with such a skill fight before we depart then.[/i]” Toshiro acknowledged the plan with thoughts of his own as he took a fighting stance, sill not able to pick up where Dynammo was but he knew he was nearby for him to speak telepathically with him like that.

So, he had to not release his energy, that the main different from their last spar when he was forced to go all out to prove himself worthy enough to join the KGSF. He closed his eyes and focused, all those times practicing on the ki enhanced wildlife in Crater Forest had paid off, and he was going to show his improvement due to that. He suddenly caught red energy coming his way, which prompted him to build a layer of ki about his body, supressing it in as it built up. “THERE!” Declaring it in his head, Toshiro let his ki out and a shockwave knocked against the red energy wave for a split second so Toshiro could swerve and fly to the side and then alongside it.

The energy shot past him and off into the distance as he pulled his arm back and then clenched it into a fist. Energy blades then came out of his knuckles like they were Wolverine’s, he had adapted the new way of using his ki claws in combat, as it was most energy efficient as a part of his body than as an attack. He then “An after image?” he thought as he phased through his foe and quickly turned around, no longer was he frustrated that he missed like before, he was just alert and unwavering.

He suddenly felt himself trip as his feet were grabbed and he began to fall on his back, eyes widening briefly as he bent his head back and to the side so the feet aiming at his neck ended up knocking together with a shove from his arm. Looking upside down, he could see the familiar light from the red energy from earlier, was this his plan all along? Damn he was careless, he should have just negated it! “White Tiger’s Slash Claw” he sudden released five streaks of razor sharp green energy and sliced through the red energy before making it explode in a flash or red and green light, the impact enough to make both him and Dynammo roll and for him to shove him away, now free.

He then leaped up into the air and dived at his mentor, hoping to soon match his combination attack. “Well if you insist on being flashy starting off, I will as well!” he yelled, his other hand that had not fired to slashing ki then raised in the air as a ki sphere was formed, he then tried to slam it on Dynammo’s chest area to make it explode upon it. He would use the blast explosion to send him back flipping in the air, as he was upside down he would point his fingers to the ground and the ki claws would shoot out and extend to slam into the ground surrounding Dynammo to form some sort of ki caging. He then used the ki as a focus, then then rocketed at his foe like a slingshot with his palms out front glowing with ki, for a ki enhanced diving double palm thrust to finish his string of attacks off.

Dynammo smirked as Toshiro as he countered his grapple as well as his attack. ”Good, you countered my grapple as well as negated my attack, but there is more to the test then that.” He said telepathically to his team mate.

Getting to his feet, he spotted Toshiro in the air diving towards him as he formed a small ki sphere and attempted to slam it into his chest. He braced his upper body muscles and planted his feet to make a strong foundation so he wouldn’t be pushed back as the ki sphere landed on the saiyan chest armor, smoke coming off of the flex-ware saiyan armor as it hit.

Through the smoke, Dynammo jumped up as he used the wolf fang fist technique, his hands in the form of claws under the illusion of a blue wolf heading upwards towards Toshiro Rei.

As the Ki Claws were discharged, The Black Rain Elite Class Mercenary used zanzoken while using the wolf fang fist technique to cause the attack to go through the after image of the wolf, fading away upon contact.

Suddenly from behind Toshiro Rei. a red wolf head appeared an inch away from the White Tiger’s back at it attempted to slam it’s skull into his rear collar bone. This was Dynammo, launching a flying straight kick with his right foot towards his back while using the wolf fang fist technique. Then as quickly as he launched the kick, he blurred thereafter and within a second reappeared in front of Toshiro Rei with a hard jab to the the center of the upper body; utilized his explosive Jin technique in an attempt to cause some damage to slow the White Tiger down.

“Yeah, I figured as much. So bring it!” Toshiro replied, getting pumped up for something even more challenging. Defending himself from the last string of attacks surely pushed him to react and think on a whole over level than his usual training.

He saw his extending ki claws go through an image of a wolf and Dynammo disappeared again, either way, he had to slingshot himself back to the ground seeing as his back was exposed and his foe probably phased through him and was now countering from above. “Damn it he’s just too fast for me even with us balanced out like this…” he got reminded of his sheer speed disadvantage as he let out a slight growl of pain as he back arced back for the kick.

So while it was what he intended to anyway, he used that force and pulled himself to the ground to perhaps later rebound for a counter off the floor, but Dynammo just as quickly reappeared in front of him again. “Damn it…” he muttered as his body hunched over as the jab momentarily stunned him in place, the extensions of his ki claws earlier then shattered due to lack of focus. However despite this, he took the close range to his advantage.

“Don’t think it’ll be that easy for you either… TAKE THIS!” Toshiro’s eyes suddenly widened and glowed green as he made the declaration, sending a shockwave blast from his eyes to knock Dynammo back away as he took the pain from the last blow like a man and readied his counter.

He then took a graceful like stance in the air, swiftly spinning himself diagonally as if pitching a ball. Green ki had been charged at the tips of his fingertips already and sharped to their limits. “White Tiger’s Slash Claw!” he yelled, releasing five steaks of bright green ki to slash at Dynammo hard, hoping it would hit while he was knocked back by the shockwave he released before.

Dynammo’s attacks landed without a hitch, discovering a weakness to the White Tiger Slash Claw. As he finished his attack, he heard Toshiro Rei shout, ” “Don’t think it’ll be that easy for you either… TAKE THIS!”

As he shouted, his eyes widened and glowed green. As quick as his eyes widened, an invisible shockwave hit his chest; pushing him back 7 feet. Dynammo couldn’t counter or evade, the attack nailing him in his chest that was protected by tough saiyan armor so he wasn’t winded, just pushed back somewhat.

He used the flight technique to regain his bearings only to hear Toshiro yell, ‘White Tiger’s Slash Claw!’; knowing the attack that would soon follow.

The Elite Class Mercenary of the Black Rain Clan gathered an emerald green aura about his body and using focus, solitified his aura so when the five streaks of bright green ki came at him, they broke on his solid aura as Dynammo utilized his Crusher Barrier technique.

”Very Good, you learned that to find an opening, you have to wait for your opponent to get over confident and that means taking damage when overpowered until an opportunity presents itself. You took damage and pushed me back to gain some breathing room.” He said telepathically to Toshiro Rei.

”But the first two attacks were you countering my attacks, good counter strategy…but now I want you to attack me. An attack is as important as an evade, counter or defense. You can begin when ready.”

Dynammo then stood floating in the sky, letting his aura fade; awaiting Toshiro Rei’s attack.

“I’m going to have learn how to do those neat defensive techniques you keep using,” Toshiro commented with a smirk as he noted the barrier and after image techniques again, he should have gotten a general idea on how to mimic them at least so he’d get the foundation to come up with his own version of the same sort of move.

The telepathic praise was well met, he was almost a completely different person in approach and battle since their last spar, and he was glad it was showing quite naturally as well and not forced. “Very well, if you do insist. I wanted to test something new out anyway…” he said, he couldn’t help but grin at the chance to show off something new.

Toshiro closed his eyes and crossed his arms so his fingers were pointing diagonally upwards; he then clenched them into tight fists before green ki blasts formed from his knuckles. It was a new implementation of his slash claw technique in which he’d usually release straight out, however the training in Crater Forest had made him a lot more ki efficient for him to try it this way too. “Prepare yourself, I won’t be holding back with this move.” he stated as his light green flight aura then burst around him.

The white tiger then rocketed off flying around super-fast like a hawk hunting its prey at heightening speeds, generating a circle of dust from how fast he was going and to also act like a smokescreen of sorts. Toshiro would use such a diversion to suddenly slash at Dynammo quickly before resuming circling him once more, he kept this up circling his foe several times before he shot into the air.

He was just flying into the air though he was continuously curled up and spinning vertically like he wanted to be Sonic the Hedgehog, with his ki claws extended to the side. He was gathering a lot of momentum from his flight and now the rotation, it was all for the sake of building up for a final attack. “I got him now, Slash Claw!” He yelled mentally in his head as he threw his hands down to try and land a potentially critical double ki claw slash down Dynammo’s body.

Dynammo just stood there as The white tiger manipulated his ki to form claws from his knuckles from his inner energy. ”Is that the only move you got besides that invisible energy blast technique?!” The Pale Tanned Triclops shouted.

He then spoke telepathically to Toshiro Rei, ”You’ve just mastered the technical mechanics of your original techniques, that’s good and it’s only been two weeks. It’s like you put a spin on your old classic moves from last time.”

Dynammo then heard him state, “Prepare yourself, I won’t be holding back with this move.”Using his Guru Sensing technique, he then sensed a sudden spike as a light green aura appeared about Toshiro Rei.

The White Tiger then shot forward with amazing speed, going around The Pale Tanned Triclops; generating a circle of dust from how fast he was going and to also act like a smokescreen of sorts. Toshiro would then use such a diversion to suddenly slash with his Ki claw

Dynammo wasn’t moving, he was still, so as the first claw came and it was the right claw. So, turning to counter the first blow as he was feeling it out, Dynammo thrusts his two arms out at the same time; his left hand attempting to grab his right wrist as well as his right palm which was aimed at the upper torso of Toshiro Rei firing a red wave of energy that was the same size of a kamehameha with a name called Crusher Wave Cannon headed towards The White Tiger discharged from point blank range.

Quickly his eyes went wild and Dynammo had to pull himself back away from Toshiro Rei as he opened his mouth about to bite the poor child. Thankfully, with the last bit of sanity he had; he was able to pull away from biting him. He then shot down from the sky and landed in a tree. (Damn it, that's insane...i almost bit him...i held it back so far...but it's getting harder as the battle draws on. Dynammo thought to himself.

He then started to breathe and felt uneasy and uncertain. He leaned against a tree shaking a bit. "Toshiro, don't follow...your doing well, you just might make a good hero someday...that's why i'm going to stop this test. The same error was still there from last time, i red your energy and felt you come in. If you didn't notice, my eyes were closed...concentrating on reading your spiritual energy that was emitting from your entire body. He said to Toshiro telepathically.

“Sorry! But I’m afraid that I didn’t have enough time to develop any new techniques! I’ve been focusing on my ki control, ki sensing, and speed like you told me to!” Toshiro called back, as much as he wanted to come up with something new, that took a long time. All he could manage was just new applications of the techniques he already knew, up to a full body blast from his invisible concussion wave and being able to extend his ki claws through his knuckles.

“Damn it, I was afraid of this. He read me too easily because of the ki trails I’m leaving behind, it doesn’t matter how fast I got and what I distract him with if he’s just going to track my ki flow down…” He realised too late as his hand was gripped, with his chest suddenly exploded in pain as Dynammo blasted it with Crusher Wave Cannon that sent him up into the air until he shoved the wave away, leaving with a burning chest with diminishing black smoke coming from it.

He noticed though, that his senpai had an almost animalistic hungry look on his face before he was blasted away, he then retreated to a tree for some odd reason, he would usually follow up with an attack at that point. After hearing his reasoning via telepathy, he wondered what was going on yet still wanted to prove himself despite him declaring that the test as over.

“Then tell me, can you sense this one coming Dynammo? Ki Claws, Piercer” Toshiro had soon flew speedily around to be a couple of metres behind Dynammo and then extended his fist towards his direction, green ki blades ten shot out of his knuckles and went through the tree in an attempt to pierce at his foe’s shoulder, just to prove his point that he could also make himself not easily ki read.

Dynammo leaned against the tree, he decided to use his new technique Psychic Sense which would allow him to sense with his mind instead of with energy. He soon felt a faint power come down towards him but he thought it was an animal. Soon the faint energy was behind him, probably was a bird he was concluding.

But soon he felt a spike of energy with his mind behind him on the other side of the tree. It was fast and due to the fact that he thought it wasn’t Toshiro Rei as well as the fact that he just first started using his new passive technique called Psychic Sense, he really couldn’t dodge or maneuver out of the piercing attack; so he quickly solitified his aura to become hard; the ki claw that was used to pierce him hit his Crusher Barrier which protected his shoulder blade.

”Good, you came in light and surprised me…your Energy Claws are well trained, better then last time… He said to Toshiro Rei telepathically. He then vanished from view and reblurred a few feet behind the White Tiger. Dynammo then began to speak.

”You have done well, now when we go to Vegeta, you can focus on learning new skills and techniques. You’ve passed the test. Your Maruca-sensei would be proud of how far you’ve come along in your training. There was a reason why I told you to focus on the skills you had first and this is the reason: You can have loads of new skills learned but to refine the skills you have by finding the weaknesses and strengths within the technique was my wish for you. Now I know without a doubt that you will one day surpass me in power and skills with your fighting spirit and determination to keep trying, adapting to situations and never giving up.”

Dynammo then bowed to Toshiro Rei, expecting him to return his bow then spoke once more. ”We all need to improve, not just you. So now, focus on the skill of speed and the skill of creating a barrier. Support skills so to speak.”

With that, he shot up into the air, satified with Toshiro’s improvements to his fighting strategy. He gathered an emerald green aura about his body and flew off towards the sun into the distance”We will fight again on vegeta, once you’ve done a few weeks of training.” Dynammo telepathically said to Toshiro as he was flying away.

Toshiro wasn’t surprised that his extending ki claw was blocked by the barrier, he said to keep at a distance after all, at least he couldn’t dodge it in time he hoped. “Heh, that was all I was aiming for, Dynammo-senpai. To show you that I took your words to heart and improved a lot with the training here, it’s only been two weeks and I’ve grown this much, I am excited to what further training leads to.” he replied telepathically, a little more proud and accomplished now.

He listened intently at Dynammo’s next words, the praise and the reasoning behind it, he hit the nail on the head, at the end his words become very inspiring as well. Yeah even with the reality check Geurin game him, he was confident he would one day truly rise and go beyond his superiors. He had the will and the potential, everything could see that in him, and he would not let them down.

He gave Dynammo a returning bow, he was indeed a teacher to be respected, it was the least he could do aside from listen to his guiding words for his training. “So support skills like the after image and barrier huh, I understand, I will see you later then, thanks for everything.[/i]” He said back as he flew away, now just registering the damage he had done to the environment around him, luckily he didn’t strike any trees down. Now knowing what he had to train for next, he focused in mastering the barrier and after image techniques; he had seen it used enough times to grasp it hopefully.
