The Guru's Apprentice [Cargo]

It was another sunny day on Namek. Obviously, a planet with two sun's never got dark. Elder Carnel, Guru of Namek was out on a lesurely stroll to clear his head. He was walking with his staff in hand, and a white long sleved gi with a navy cloak over top. People were coming out of the woodwork for training and jobs, he was stressed out.

He turned a corner, no idea what was waiting on the other side.

Cargo was levitating in the air sitting Indian style meditating in the Ancient City. Fellow Namekians were a bit confused as it was strange to see someone meditating in a city with thousands of namekians roaming around. They couldn't see how the noise didn't affect his concentration. Little did Cargo know, his new way of meditating in a noisy area was about to be interrupted.

A gentleman walked around a corner where Cargo was meditating and accidentally stepped on his white cape like scarf that laid on the ground. Cargo quickly opened his eyes and without turning around, speaks to the individual.

"Could you please watch where you are going sir? I am trying to create a new understanding and form of meditation. I believe for one to truly be able to master meditation they need to be able to meditate in any surrounding. Whether that be silence or the noise of the city. Tell me, do you sir agree?"

Carnel stepped on something, not paying attention. The owner, another Namek was not ferry happy with Carnel. "Oh, I didn't see you there. Sorry about that." Carnel said.

The man explained what he was doing, and why he chose the city. Carnel used his staff to push the cape back out of the way so it wouldn't be stepped on again. "Meditating in a buissy city street, you say? he smiled. "I've been using this method myself for years. It's hardly new.

Carnel could feel this Namekians power. He had potential. "I am Carnel, also called Elder and Guru. It's nice to meet you... What is your name? I do not remember if we had met before...

Cargo plants his feet firmly on the ground and stands up now looking at Carnel.

"I am known to few as Cargo. I believe we have met; We just haven't met personally. You are the most high of our planet and therefore will have a link with every single namekian whether we are aware of it or not. I have had the honor of growing my mind to a point to where I am aware of our connection. It is truly an honor to see you face to face. However, you have spoken your numerous names I know, but what is it that you would truly like to be called? I have no aim to disrespect you and would like to know in order to keep you most peaceful.[/color]

Cargo respectfully dropped down to one knee and bowed his head. He was giving Carnel respect he felt like Carnel had been missing recently. It was the least Cargo could do for the Guru of Namek.

Carnel was impressed by the Namekian's medittive growth. He spoke respectively and to the point, but Carnel didn't see much humor in his personality thus far. He hoped this one wasn't the type to overdo things.

Carnel watched as the Namekian bowed to one knee. Carnel waited a moment, then slowly dropped to his knee as well. He plased a hand on Cargo's shoulder. "It is a sign of respect, Cargo. But hardly necesarry for my presence. He smiled, standing and extending his hand. "Come now, stand Cargo.

Cargo simply smiled while accepting Carnel's hand to stand. "Finally, I almost thought I would have to remain wise the entire time I was around you. You have good timing too, any longer and my leg would have numbed out on me. Now, what brings you out into the city? I assumed that the Guru was meant to stay in solitude in some small house on a huge tower? Guess you can't place a stereo type on the Guru huh?[/color]

Carnel smiled. He turned to look at the fortress overlooking the Anciant City. "No, the Guru has upgraded to something a little different. Closer to the people, more acessable to them as well."

Carnel looked back at Cargo."Have you ever been there before? It was an old fortress from the war days. Truely serves as a nice place to train..." Carnel hinted. He was curious what the Namekian was capible of.

(Is Cargo pronounced like "Cargo Pants", or more like "Sar-go?")

Cargo smiles. "I think I get where your going Guru. If you'll train me, I'd be honored. Who knows, maybe I'll find out if you truly have the ability to unlock someones hidden potential. Hmm, I honestly think that you have something hidden that only the chosen get to see. Ha ha, now I have to try and become that chosen."[/color]

Cargo now wait for the Guru to lead the way to his fortress if it is in fact an invitation he's received from Guru.

Carnel nodded. "I... may posses such a power. But you must prove yourself first. And I'm not just looking for power or skill... The last Namek thought that would be enough."

Carnel continued his walk. "Come then, I'm off to the fortress! He shouted as he walked away, hoping Cargo would follow. He turned his head. "I may make a couple stops though... You may need to carry a few things... He gave a sly smile and continued, reaching into his gi for a shopping list as long as his arm that Cargo probably wouldn't see.

Would this one prove worthy of the power? Carnel planned to find out.
