Welcome To Namek!

It seems you have landed on the New planet Namek, home of the Namekian people. This world is the size of Earth andconsists of beautiful landscapes of green oceans and blue grass, reddish brown mountain ranges in the distance. The sky burns with at least two of the three Sun's in the pale green sky with a high temperature all the time. There is no night time here.

The old Namek had various islands scattered, but the new planet had been constructed of larger land masses. Below is the map of the main, more known area.

People

Planet Namek has a population around 8,800 not including the Demon Namekians or the Raiders. This is due to the unfortunate battles of the past, see more on this in History.

The people are kind, well mannered and respectful individuals for the most part. They used to love visitors until the past few caused trouble.

Groups, Factions and Clans:
Namek is home to more than one group of people. The following are the known Groups:

• The Namekian People: (Ruling Faction)
  

  Led by Guru Carnel, made up of the regular Civilians and policed and militarized by the Black Gi Elite.

  
  
• The Demon Namekians:
  

  Led by Bazantar, made up of evil Namekians. Have a purplish tint to their skin.

  
  
• The Solar Saiyan Empire Base:
  

  Led by Unknown Saiyan Commander, made up of SSE solders. Occupy small section due to Alliance.

  
  
• The Healers Clan:
  

  Led by Orenji or The Mentor[Orenji NPC], consists of those who teach Healing.

  
  
• The Warriors Clan:
  

  Led by Basna, made up of those who fight hardest. Wear white Gi's with blue sash. Teach the Special Beam Cannon.

  
  
• The Blood Raiders:
  

  Unknown NPC leader, made up of total psychopaths. wear red and shades of gray.
  

  
  
• The Infected:
  

  Led by Viron, made up of individuals (Namekian mostly) infected with the Bio-Reconnosance. Still considered Civilians to the current Guru.

  
  

History

Planet Namek has seen many terrifying battles in its time. The Old Namek was destroyed by the Icarian Lord Freza hundreds of years ago in a battle with the legendary "Golden Warrior" they called Goku. The stories from there differ as to how New Namek came to be populated by the Namekians, some speak of an Arc that evacuated them there, others speak of the Golden Warrior teleporting them there. Some even speak of wishes and Dragons.

Years later, Namek came under alliance with the Solar Saiyan Empire, led by King Boliko Koregutsu. Guru Param agreed to the alliance.

Guru Param soon passed from disease, leaving Elder Carnel to lead the planet. He became Guru Carnel and continued his alliance with the SSE.

The Namekian people are caught in a bloody battle with the Demon Namekians. But as they moved into the Ancient City, they are met by the Guru's adoptive son; an Icarian by the name of Blaze. Soon joined by the newly Unlocked Bio-Android Viron, the two repelled the attack with massive losses on their side.

Namek is soon threatened again by a group of evil individuals who struck out against the Namekian People. One was struck down as the other three known affiliates vanish.

The Unlocking Of Potential


The Guru of Namek is capable of unlocking the hidden potential within an individual. This is done usually as a gift for past services or good deeds, and is intended to be used for the purpose of good. It can be given in a time of need as well.

The unlock used to consist of an x3 boost to Base PL, with an eligibility cap of 40,000 PL before it could not be done. This method is now no longer used.

The new way (as understood thus far) consists of a flat rate gain of 50,000 PL. Cap is not yet known.

Things To Do!

What is there to do on this planet anyway? All kinds of things. The planet has much to offer to basically anyone.

• Train with masters: Basna of the Warrior's Clan, Orenji of the Healer's Clan, or Carnel the Guru of Namek.
  
• Hunt for Treasures: Namek is packed full of resources untapped by anyone thus far.
  
• Bounty Hunting: Many travel here to hide or join the Blood Raiders, and fetch good money as a bounty.
  
• Gravity Train: With Carnel's permission, you may be able to use the Gravity Chamber.
  
• Odd Jobs: There is water to be delivered, farms to tend, game to hunt, objects to find, people to locate, things to study, deliveries to be made, shops to help at, and all kinds of Zeni-making opportunities.
  
• Hide Out: Got enemies? Namek is large with little people populating it. With the amount of land and caves, its easy to hide out here without being located.
  
• Battle: There is a lot of unpopulated ground to blast eachother across, have fun!
