((jump down towards the bottom for the actually meeting/arrival))
Virion stumbled, two large slashes torn into his chest and abdomen. Fizzling, bubbling blood emerged from this wound, vapourising instantly into an airy purple cloud as in came in contact with the open air. The bio-android exhaled in a pained gravelly croak, though it did not take long for the wounds to beginning to close over of their own accord. It had been a close encounter, the sneaky demon having caught Virion off guard with those insidious rings of harsh red energy.
He had used his instant transmission to escape, locking onto the familiar energy signal of one of his namekian companions, but it was almost too late as the rings already began to slide effortlessly through his flesh.
The group of three had continued flying, but by chance one of them glanced back and with a surprised gasp saw Virion where he stood. He called to the others, and they turned quickly and landed around the bio-android.
"Are you ok?" cried one, his eyes darting from Virion's features to the slowly closing wounds, which still bubbled the vaporous purple substance which ran through Virion's body.
"do not concern yourself" Croaked the bio-android dismissively, though his voice sounded pained. As Virion said this he reached forward and in three swift flashes lasting no more than a quarter of a second in total, transported all 3 namekians in separate trips of his instant transmission. They found themselves reunited with the second group, who had escaped in the opposite direction when Virion had bid them to flee from the demon clan.
Before they could say anything in acknowledgement however Virion had disappeared once more, and in a similar manner four more namekians appeared in separate flashes, their group once more regathered.
Virion stood, his hand still resting on the final namekians shoulder. His eyes were cast out over the mountain ranges, in the direction that this group had been fleeing from.
In the sky a dark cloud hung, and as his eyes honed in on the distant peak he could see a now familiar shadowy mist crawling across the barren slopes. Virion had intended on setting the group to make their own way back, reuniting them here but otherwise leaving them to their own devices, however he thought better of it.
"Gather around, we are returning to the village" He croaked, his eyes still fixated on the distant ranges. The namekians barely had time to greet each other, but nevertheless placed their hands on one another as if in some form of prayer. Lians stood closet to Virion, so as the last hand was placed upon his shoulder he reached towards Virion arm.
The instant he made contact the bio-android transported them away, far off to Esca village. Some of the townsfolk let out surprised and welcoming cries, running out from their farms and homes to greet the returning travellers. Virion strode away from the group however, as there was much ahead of him to be done.
------
Mere hours later, Virion stood before the Guru’s fortress, enshrouded once more in plain robes which completely obscured his features and tailed by four namekians. They were not warriors, but rather simple villagers. Alone this small group were travelling upon the simple path through the gentle rolling plains and forestry. Despite their passive nature, something about their aura seemed slightly off, different to your regular namekian in some way, though only discernible when right up close.
The bio-android had come here with a purpose, and it was now that the small pilgrimage paused in their stride. No doubt Param had sensed it, far off in the distant mountains. Most may not be as acutely aware of such things as the Guru himself, but something dark hang over the world now… Something evil had been awoken on that day, and as inevitable as the rising sun the bloodshed was coming. Virion knew the old legends thanks to his namekian villagers and the brief notes which lay scribed within his very mind, but more than that he had seen them first hand.
The Demon Clan.
...but would the guardian of namek grant his wish? Virion knew how powerful even this fractured group of them were, knew of the incredible unearthly magics that their wicked elder possessed. Would the Guru Param however, young as he was, truly comprehend the threat they posed? Or would he see Virion as merely a monster in his own right? More over… would he even be wrong?
Virion breathed deeply, calmly, his slitted eyes shifting slowly across the main entrance as he arose from his inner contemplation, the group having finally arrived. Within he could sense the power level of General Ikezu, the one man Boliko had seen fit to leave behind here as guard. He was in essence Virion’s equal, both warriors standing astride this world as the two most physically powerful beings to currently inhabit planet Namek. It won’t be enough. If need be Virion would fight and overcome this guardian, for if he could not procure the strength which he sought then there would be no other choice.
As they entered the Guru’s presence, the namekian at Virion’s left spoke. “Greetings Guru Param, I am Nerite, we come from Elder Esca’s village, on the western outskirts” The man spoke with his eyes downcast, as if uncomfortable in the elder’s presence. From this close it would be impossible for the Guru not to sense the strangeness about their energy, the mixed quality brought on by their infection, the shifted hue of their skin which beyond their travellers robes they made no attempt to hide. Virion’s energy also matched these namekians, though the chimeric quality was far more muted, Virion doing his best to remain unobtrusive among his cohort, though he knew this elephant in the room would soon need to be addressed if they were to make progress. “We come with grave news-” continued Nertie, but Virion stepped forward, pulling the cloak back from his head and interrupting the namekian mid-sentence “Let us dispense with the suspicions and cut straight to the chase… “ Virion turned his calculated gaze around the room as he spoke, pulling his arms from the folds of clothing which had until now obscured his form. It sat now open at the front, revealing his brown, insectoid body, a movement made in the efforts of honesty.
“I am Virion, and these which stand before you are my people. They may once have been yours but now they are mine, the entirety of Esca village along with them… It is both my word and theirs that they are unharmed, though you have only that. Believe me when I say that I speak not as a conqueror or enemy, for I am neither, but rather a guardian of a people who are in great peril.” The namekians shuffled around slightly, some looking towards Param earnestly, others nodding slightly at Virion’s words. “I know that aliens such as Touketsuki have come to you in the past, threatening your kind, but I assure you I have no interest in being one of them.” Virion let out a deep, sigh-like breath. “For now however your trust or distrust of my words are irrelevant, for time is of the essence and there are grave matters at hand which affects us all.” Virion was unsure exactly how the Guru would react to his presence, and his admissions, and although he had considered many possible approaches it all came down to getting over this one hurdle. If the Guru judged him as an enemy, then he would lie till is tongue was black, playing the part of such an enemy to a key, but if the Guru was willing to treat him as an ally, then Virion would extend his offer.

Virion squinted his eyes as his gaze feel squarely on the man in the guru's chair... the namekian before him, despite sharing a very similar aura to that of the guru Param, was certainly not the young namekian leader. He was quite elderly infact.
Slightly thrown of balance but this unexpected revelation, Virion's new found uncertainties brought to his heightened attention another unexpected change of cast he had failed to notice through his senses alone. The one he had assumed was Ikezu, obscured away in one of the side-rooms of the elder's fortress, was infact someone else as well. Their strength was of a comparable level, and certainly not namekian in nature, but they were not the General of the Saiyan Empire as Virion has first assumed.
"where... is Guru Param?" he croaked gently, hesitantly, slowly casting his gaze out beyond the walls, using his senses to try and locate the namekian's leader. This elder must have been acting in Param's place... but why? Where was the Guru, and his assigned guardian?
Surely Param would not have gone to confront the demon clan in person... not this quickly... why would he do such a thing?... Ikezu would be unable to keep him safe and fight off the clan, it would be suicide, and the porunkal would never listen to reason or negotiations...
But if that was not the case, then what possible reason would there be Param and Ikezu's absence? Many possible explanations came to virion's calculating mind but the limited data he had thus far was insufficient to come to a conclusion.
The elderly namekian spoke, interrupting the frantic scenario calculations that ran through Virion's mind...
--------- ((Oh, the one in the side room Virion has thought was Ikezu is meant to be Blaze, since I remember you mentioning in one of your threads that Blaze was heading to pay Carnel a visit next, so I guessed he may be around for this. You can either have him come in for the meeting, or leave him 'off screen' i guess. Whatever you want))

The place that the great Param once sat was now occupied by another Namek. Elder Carnel. He had just finished a meeting with his adopted son, an Icer named Blaze who had just returned with a live bounty. Shortly upon Blaze's leaving, a small group approached him and stated their business. Carnel was under a great deal of stress and mourning, he sat with a hand pinching the bridge of his nose and his eyes closed.
He sensed the group where Namekians... But different ones. This made Carnel uneasy. One spoke as their leader, one who had a power that could be matched by few. He did didn't sound like an enemy, nor did he wish to become one. Carnel wasn't sure whether he could trust these words.
Then the Question came that the Elder had expected. "Where... is Guru Param?" The voice asked. He opened his eyes to see the strange figure in front of him. Most would judge such a creature at first sight. Even Carnel might have if it wasn't for one thing... Blaze.
This creature was not hostile. It had the power to do anything it wished, and wanted nothing but to speak its mind. Carnel knew he wouldn't like to see his son judge on his appearance, so ignoring the creatures differences was easy for him.
Carnel lowered his hand and gave the creature a stern but mournful look. "Our great Guru has... passed on. He informed them. I am Elder Carnel. And yes, this is sudden for all of us... Some kind of ailment suddenly took him. He closed his eyes. "We have no idea how someone this young could suffer such an ailment so suddenly."
He said no more on the matter. It was a mystery how the young Guru took ill. Some say natural health, others believe in an allergy or an incurable ailment. There are few who even believe that it wasn't just an ailment... But foul play. Some even directing there rumors towards Carnel himself and even his son Blaze, due to his differences.
Carnel knew the truth of their innocence, but some did not believe.
"I understand the situation with those who now follow you." He opened his eyes and stood up. ."I will take no action against this as long as these people have chosen this willingly. None on this planet are to be forced into this. And they must still abide by the same rules and laws as all others on Namek." He spoke with authority, hoping the creature would heed its words and accept this.
The new Guru came down to the creature. He looked over at one of the strange Namekians. "You are still one of us as far as i am concerned. You will always find acceptance here." He spoke sternly still, but more lightly. Their choice would be their own.
"Now, please tell me your name. And explain what grave matters you speak of." Carnel thought Blaze had just wrapped up the last of Namek's problems with his bounty claim earlyer, but now he feared he may be very wrong.

((sorry I'm taking so long. Still not back yet but I've managed to squeeze this in. I'll paste it up in 3 bits)) “I am Elder Carnel. And yes, this is sudden for all of us... Some kind of ailment suddenly took him.” Virion’s narrowed for the briefest of instants, his mind calculating, as the elder continued to speak Virion’s gaze slowly drifted down towards the floor to the left, lost in thought as he assimilated these new facts "… idea how someone this young could suffer such an ailment so suddenly...." “Inaurian Influenza” whispered Virion, the revelation striking him, the words spoken so quietly that the elder could not possibly have heard him.
Yes, the scenario in his head fit all of the cues. Ikezu was Inaurian, and much like many worlds and people, his species were inevitably struck with a disease in their younger years, originating from the native plant-life, which they quickly recovered from. His body would built up an immunity from this instance, but were he of class E blood retention then he could carry the disease for many years after the initial point of infection, maybe even throughout his whole life time, lying dormant in his system, immerging for a few weeks or months and manifesting mild symptoms, before then receding once more in a continuous, irregular cycle.
Not many were of comparable biology for the planet-originating disease to transfer to, but those of an unfortunate genetic fingerprint among the namekian population may just be susceptible to a mutation of the chlorophage. Ikezu could well have suffered another cycle of the disease, and upon seeing the guru similarly taken ill recognised the symptoms. Seeing the adverse and evidently devastating effect the virus was having on the Guru’s body, the Inaurian could well have fled the planet in fear of spreading the disease further… The removal of Ikezu as a variable was good in a way, but a greater concern welled within Virion. What if this new Guru was incapable of Param’s feats? The bio-android focused back onto the elder’s features, picking up on the tail end of his words on the infected.
“Acceptance is invariable” he assured in a croaking drawl, glossing over the process and any extended explanations sagely. The conditions of the infection could well take an entire meeting of their own to discuss, but time was slipping away.
“-As it is however, Guru Carnel, we can waste no more time on matters of the mundane.” Virion straightened his shoulders and took a step forward, his 3-toed foot squeaking on the tiled floor.

“Even as we speak the ancient demon clan approaches from across the emerald ocean, their mist spreading down from the mountains which so long held them at bay. I do not doubt that you have heard the legends just as I have, and even now sensed their presence, the dark cloud looming over namek on the edge of the horizon - even if you have not recognised the promise of despair and bloodshed that it heralds.” Virion clenched his fist, jaw tightening.
It seemed that this new elder was having a stressful orientation thanks to Param’s sudden illness, and was not yet aware of the horrors which had been unleashed. Virion had not entirely been unprepared for this, but it did mean that he would have to waste precious time now to ensure that this new Guru fully comprehended the matter at hand.
With an intake of breath Virion turned, staring out past the walls of the Guru’s fortress, tracking the rapidly retreating energy of the one he had sensed earlier, it's owner having apparently concluded their business with the new guru prior to Virion's approach. An Arcosian… interesting.
Out loud he continued his warning, “Esca village is but one of the many which stand in their path... Already I have ventured fourth to confront this Evil before it reaches my brothers, so trust me when I say that as we stand they cannot be stopped.” He breathed in “Not unless we work together… or so I had initally hoped”.
Virion’s arms were folded behind his back, the bio-android now speaking more officiously. “The disappearance of Ikezu of the Solar Empire is concerning… By my own estimates he and I were perhaps the two most powerful guardians this world has to offer, but as I have come to learn: it will do you no good against the insidious magic of their cruel elder, who with a sweep of his arm can tear this strength from your body and render you all but helpless to his vicious, demonic kin.” Virion paused, returning his gaze from the direction of Blaze’s distant energy to face the guru of namek, trying to judge his reactions.
“You were speaking just before my arrival to an Arcosian were you not? A powerful race… I can sense the individual’s energy out over the plain. They too seem comparable to the level of Ikezu and myself…” The bio-androids hands fell back to his sides “Even should this alien be an ally of yours however, I still stand by my previous assertion that-…”
Virion fell to silence, something catching him up short; his eyes grew distant and cold and his head turned slowly towards a new direction. After a few drawn out moments, he spoke once more “We have taken too long…The massacre has already begun.” ((the link is the same green carnel has for his dialogue XD))

He turned to the elder once more, knowing that elaboration would be unnessecary, the the namekian could fully sense the horrors for himself. Taking care to Show remorse in his slitted eyes, Virion announced his original intentions “I came to this fortress with a proposition, Elder Carnel. I had learned that through the magic of the Guru, Param was able to increase a warriors strength, unlocking new levels of power. I planned to request this power for myself and use it to defend my people, and by extension your people, from these demonic savages.” Virion’s voice dropped off, disappointment in his words;
“As it is however, I must now become a liar. An enemy of circumstance who in your eyes may justifiably be considered just as vile as the Porunkal” As if emphasising his point, the life force from the village the Porunkal clansmen were attacking was now extinguished, an intense vibe of devastation emanating in it’s place. “My options are exhausted you see. Without this alternative source of energy within my immediate grasp I must move quickly, turn to the one other option my body affords me… Absorption.” His eyes gleamed darkly as he said the last word, bitterness still lacing his voice at having lost his only other chance. Demonstratively he turned his palm towards the Guru to show him the widening, mouth-like opening it featured, the tube in his arm letting out a single gulp-like throb.
“I… will hunt down the strongest warriors this planet has to offer, your peoples last line of defence, and absorb them into my being one by one, augmenting my strength in a rather… unsavoury process.” As he spoke he slowly allowed his fingers to close over the palm, letting the arm slowly drop back down to his side. Virion did not exactly enjoy merging his physiology with another. Both times he had done this in the past, it had been in order to save his own life, this would make the first time he had used it to a different purpose. The elder seemed about to speak out, perhaps protest, so Virion elaborated upon his words;
“This is not a threat Elder Carnel, it is merely an explanation of what must be done now that the guru’s magic is evidently unobtainable. The namekian people will be doomed in the process, their only defenders even remotely capable of standing up to the demons taken from you through my own actions, but it is my last option if I am to save my own kinsmen from sharing this same fate... the same fate my infected have faced before.” he concluded cryptically. Virion held out on one last thread of hope, welling from the uncanny resemblance between the ki of the previous Guru and the ki energy now gently emanating from this Elder Carnel.
Perhaps, somehow, this elder would have access to whatever source this ‘guru’s gift’ came from, but Virion was a realist and was aware that mastery of such a technique probably took many years, time which this sudden stand-in would not have had. Perhaps the ability was even inherited through the bloodline, those capable of the feat gaining the position of Guru in response, rather than the other way around, in which case the chance of this elder having it was even slimer.
Virion knew the grim truth of what was likely to now be the case, a markedly less desirable option than he had hoped for. He would throw diplomacy to the wind, and cannibalise his would-be allies only defence in order to assure the Porunkal’s defeat.
"On a planet called Earth my infected were obliterated in their thousands, their essence torn from the bio-resonance in an instant... I simply cannot sustain such loses. I must ensure my namekian kinsmen's survival." The bio-android was referring to the destruction of Mount Paozu by the tyrant, Touketsuki. Despite being here on Namek at the time it was impossible for Virion not to feel such an enormous loss, the collective strength of his link to them faltering.
“I am sorry Elder Carnel, I had truly hoped for another way” Virion croaked in a resigned voice, returning his thoughts to the present and, perhaps somewhat theatrically, he began to turn away. Without another source of power to quickly gain the required strength, absorption was indeed his only other option. This was the simple truth and indeed the bio-android’s back-up plan all along should the deal with Param have turned sour.
The energy of the Arcosian is substantial, Virion thought to himself, I will need to start with that one so as not to risk them foolishly getting killed in battle with the demon’s leader… or escaping from the planet just as Ikezu already has.
From there Virion intended to move onto the other group of aliens he had sensed during their crash landing not so long ago. Finally he would turn to the select few warriors of the namekian clan whose strength was worthy of pursuing. Together they should hopefully give him the energy he needed to overwhelm the demon clan, and preserve the bio-resonance he shared with his namekian cohort.
Though perhaps his pessimism was a bit premature... The Guru appeared to be ready to speak.
((so, up to you now. Consider this Virion's official request for the Unlock Potential. If yes then he can rush out to defeat the demons. If not then he will leave now and try and scrape together enough strength to stop the demons himself. Either way the demon clan will be stopped, but obviously one way is a little more messy)).

Elder Carnel listened to the creatures warning. He spoke of the ancient Demon clan, and their intentions. He also stated that it had already begun... Carnel could feel it as well.
“I came to this fortress with a proposition, Elder Carnel. I had learned that through the magic of the Guru, Param was able to increase a warriors strength, unlocking new levels of power. I planned to request this power for myself and use it to defend my people, and by extension your people, from these demonic savages.”
Carnel knew the legends. These demons had wanted to purge Namek of all its native kind for quite a long time. He had no idea they still existed. But he was aware of what kind of threat this posed and was willing to succumb to this creatures request... until...
“My options are exhausted you see. Without this alternative source of energy within my immediate grasp I must move quickly, turn to the one other option my body affords me… Absorption. I… will hunt down the strongest warriors this planet has to offer, your peoples last line of defense, and absorb them into my being one by one, augmenting my strength in a rather… unsavory process.”
Carnel's eyes widened. "You... you dare threaten my people!? My Planet? You come claiming to help, but use such evil means to acquire this power."
The creature spoke again. “This is not a threat Elder Carnel, it is merely an explanation of what must be done now that the guru’s magic is evidently unobtainable. The namekian people will be doomed in the process, their only defenders even remotely capable of standing up to the demons taken from you through my own actions, but it is my last option if I am to save my own kinsmen from sharing this same fate... the same fate my infected have faced before.”
The Elder took few moments to process the ccreatureswords. He did not tune in to anything said until he noticed the creature was about to leave.
“I am sorry Elder Carnel, I had truly hoped for another way”
Carnel watched as the creature took a fiew steps. "It shall be the death of you... and this entire planet if you walk out that door. That is not acceptable, Viron, you know this." He said with a grim tone. This should be enough to stop the creature in its tracks.
"I do not doubt your ability or intent to take my kin into your being. But as you stated... there is no time. There is also the fact that there are at least two powers here that rival yours... their resistance costs time as well. And one of witch is this 'Arcosian', as you call him; I know his power is slightly lesser to yours, but his soul burns pure and strong. Hence his name: Blaze. He alone would cost you far too much time... and possibly one or both of your lives. Another factor I can not allow, as both of you prove valuable to the well-being of this planet."
Carnel shook his head. He walked towards the creature and faced it. He looked it in the eyes, searching its feelings. He knew Viron did not wish to cause harm, but he was at the point where he was willing to do anything to get the job done.
"And you shall not take my kin. The sudden disappearances will cause suspicion, and then resistance. You will be hunted... possibly destroyed. All this... costs valuable time. The demons would overrun us all if we remain divided and feuding.
But..."
He looked out towards Blaze's energy. "To ally yourself with these powers would be a far wiser strategy then to take them into yourself. A stronger man is good... he can overcome a great many things. But a stronger team is greater. Very much so, as you can coordinate with each other and catch the enemy from many angles, many attacks, more power combined."
He turned his attention back towards the creature and held out his hand. "Please. Agree to this: As long as you give me your word that none of my people will ever be harmed by you or your kind, I will gladly bestow upon you the gift you seek. But it must be used for the intentions you have stated, of course."
He cracked slight smile. "I am also one of the greatest healers on the planet, my friend. I can restore you to your full power as well. No need to carry out this unnecessary process. It's the best way to do this, Viron. I see that you and I both wish only to see Namek safe."
He waited now, hoping the creature would agree. If he would, maybe together Namek would remain a peaceful place.

"It shall be the death of you... and this entire planet if you walk out that door. That is not acceptable, Viron, you know this." Virion slowed, and stopped, his companiosn doing the same and turning back towards Carnel hesitantly. Virion however remained facing the door, the psychology behind such a move clear: ‘I am listening, but unfortunately my path is set’
He alone would cost you far too much time... and possibly one or both of your lives.” It was now that he head began to turn, glimpsing the elder out of the very corner of his eye “I never said my task would be simple…” he murmured in response. The elder continued however, not yet finished his speech. Virion knew this would be leading up to some sort of plan or bargain, though he had already made clear his doubts of the effectiveness of anything alternative to his own devised paths.
“It is Another factor I cannot allow, as both of you prove valuable to the well-being of this planet."
The elder had walked forward, Virion having fully turned to face him with an inquisitively raised eyebrow, though his stance still showing his conviction to leave and begin his grim task, he was not about to brush off the elder before hearing his words. The namekian looked into his eyes.
Virion continued to listen to the elder’s words, till finally, the proposition he had been expecting came "Please. Agree to this: As long as you give me your word that none of my people will ever be harmed by you or your kind, I will gladly bestow upon you the gift you seek. But it must be used for the intentions you have stated, of course." Virion’s eyes widened slightly, a brief gleam alighting their slitted pupils. So, this elder is capable of the magics I seek after all. My initial hopes may not yet need abandoning after all. Virion looked as the elder smiled wanly
"I am also one of the greatest healers on the planet, my friend. I can restore you to your full power as well. No need to carry out this unnecessary process. It's the best way to do this, Viron. I see that you and I both wish only to see Namek safe."
Virion’s mouth-piece also shifted into a befanged curl “More than that elder Carnel, after this threat is defeated and my peoples safety is assured, I will leave your planet for good. You need never concern yourself over my presence or actions again. My infected will peacefully co-exist as long as you to not encroach a burdening presence into their home. Even then, their nature of spreading the infection to those who are without… well, it’s all a question of perspective, who decides what is harm and what is… bestowing a gift?” He said, using the elder's own words from before as a cunning reversal of views.
The bloodshed could be felt beginning anew, another wave of horror washing across in a pulse from across the continent, picked up by the finely tuned senses of both Virion and the Guru, one through his empathetic connection to his people, the other through remarkable design.
“Let us commence, Elder Carnel, the longer we wait the more of your people perish…” Virion did not know what to expect from the process now.
Virion was a creature comprised of many differing biologies, some dark by their very nature. Where once(back in his own timeline) it had been sleek and uniform, his energy was now naturally a curdled mess of both light and dark, like oil and water each swirling around yet never staying fully mixed. Through this meeting he hid away this taint of his own construction, to draw upon only the rightous energy of his being and mask the inherent darkness, as well as the unravelling stench of his own rotted body. He had a theoretical knowledge of the guru’s abilities, and many like them. With his energy how it was, it seemed quite likely that even if the namekian guardian couldn’t draw out all parts of his now messed-up physiology evenly, he would still be able to provide the power the guru boasted. Virion had only to maintin his control, his separation of these energies. He would nessecarily be exposed to whatever harsh amplifiers this ability would convey.
Virion leaned forward, almost as if bowing to the elder, ready to receive the namekian gift.
((I'm thinking perhaps that Virion getting this power could actually throw him out of whack, the balance of different energy types into his body unbalanced by the sucker-punch of the guru's sudden unlock, though still increasing by the given amount he's now be filled with a lot more 'good energy'. If you like, you can just generally brush over giving the unlock and get to the conclusion, and I'll embellish upon Virion's reactions in my response, to say what happened.))

Carnel placed his hand over Viron's head, releasing a healing energy for a fiew moments. "You should feel better now. But that was by far not the power you seek... This is.
Placing his hand on Viron's head, a bright white light shined, and a ki like energy pulced down Carnels arm into Viron as Viron appeared to be powering up. It wasn't a violent procedure, but it affected different people in different ways. So Carnel heard, this would be his first unlock.
After it was over, Carnel looked at Viron, sensing his new power. "It's a shame you wish to leave, but I'm glad we could resolve this peacefully. Tell me, how do you feel? Carnel asked. He hoped Viron's new power was enough to defeat these demons.

((aha, but this thread isn't over yet )) The wounds on Virion's chest, which had slowly been regenerating, (sealed so as to no longer bleed out but still deeply scarred and fragile), healed superbly under the guru's contact. His internal processes had been focused elsewhere, suppressing the facets of his energy, and the limitations of his body had prevented him for healing fully through his own regeneration.
I can feel my body rejuvenated, the guru's power emanates within my own form... and yet i had expected someth- "You should feel better now. But that was by far not the power you seek... This is."
It was like a punch to the guts, Virion's energy twisting and knotting as the unaccustomed force lanced through his body. This was more of what Virion had expected, though he stumbled none the less, adjusting his footing as his aura surged. It was as if a great weight was building on only one side of his being, slowly threatening to topple him. The colour of his flaring aura had started out as it's regular purple, but as the rushing grew it seemed to become more active, skipping a beat it flickered to a barely precipitable blueish-white, the streams of purple seemed to tremble and grow sluggish. They continued to apparently vie for control, but were growing weaker under the growing torrent which threatened to dominate Virion's being, shrinking lower and lower as the other grew.
Virion's companions watched with wide eyes, sensing the growing strength.
His body twitched, and Virion's voice began to resonant through the room. The place began to tremble lightly, matching the bio-androids clenched fists, small dust and debris floating down from the fortress roof and various shelves. Suddenly, impacts seem to resonant through the air, emanating from points on Virion's body, as if shockwaves were rippling through the network of ki energy within him, catching in the flame of the Guru's unlock. His body itself was transforming too, subtly, his muscles filling out, his form growing larger, features sharpening. With each 'pop' he stumbled, but with gritted teeth continued to endured the incredible pressure which was filling his body, smothering, crushing.
Finally the event reached it's crescendo, the shaking growing to it's alarming peak as Virion's aura flared to near double it's size, his namekians companions shielding their eyes and shying back from the great rush that was blasting forward from their leader's physique. He threw his neck back and lurching to his full height, now a full head and a half taller than he had been before.
"It's a shame you wish to leave, but I'm glad we could resolve this peacefully. Tell me, how do you feel?" Said elder Carnel, the man who just granted Virion's desires of might and power. A smile curled onto Virion's insectoid features, his gaze having a new, piercing quality. He had his hands held before him and, instead of looking towards the Guru, he examined them intently. He could feel his new power, incredibly power, pulsing gently through his body, his senses sharpened and honed to an exquisite new clarity. Everything about him was greater than before; in this single instant the bio-android had made more progress in his goal of reclaiming lost strength than he had in all months since he's freedom from the empty realm.
His slitted pupils shifted upward, his smirk now locked into the Elder's earnest eyes. He let drop the ki manipulations he had been holding in place, the chimeric quality of his mixed energy finally out in the open. "You are a very trusting man, Guru Carnel... perhaps foolishly so. Desperation exposes our vices elder namekian, and yours, perhaps, is an overconfidence in your ability to read character." It was about now that the elder would likely grow suspicious, Virion's words cutting through his optimism.
"What is stopping me now from pursuing the path I outlined mere moments before..." the bioandroid asked, with a gleam in his eyes.
"It was you who said that my plans to hunt down and absorb this planets strongest warriors would take to much time, but with this new strength you have given me, I now have within my power the means to overwhelm any and all resistances your people can bring forward. Even the Arcosian you call 'Blaze' would be no match for my bio-resouance. I could infect your people by force and take this world for my own..."
Virion's infected had walked out of the door, leaving only Virion and the elder now. Virion's voice held dark promise, and his gaze continued to burn into the guru's own. In truth Virion had no intention of absorbing the warriors of namek, he had gotten everything he sought to achieve and the concept of merging with other beings, despite it's benefits, was still an unsavoury proposition to the bioandroid, something which could be put down to his own hubris. using his instant transmission, the newly empowered creature disappeared, his final words hanging in the air.
"People lie, elder Carnel..."

After a few drawn out moments, a small shuffling sound was heard from near the Guru's chair. Should Carnel turn around, he was see a black mist silhouetting the throne-like seat, and moving around from behind it none other than red-skinned demon namekian, Bazantar, awkwardly climbing and sliding his way over the thrones oversized arms to sit, legs hanging sideways, on the seat.
"Well now that's hardly fair, he's playing this game using both sides of the rahau* board" His feverish yellow eyes were alight with sadistic fervour as he spoke, though his tone remained level and amiable. The black mist curled and circles around, vaguely reminiscent of four floating figures.
((*made up word, meant to be the namekian equivalent of chess , just saying 'chess' didn't seem right for namekians))
They were his four guardians, their elder having refused to re-materialise them from the shadowy vapour. They protested vigorously, the elders choice both denying them the chance to attack the namekian guru, while also leaving him exposed to potential attack, but the old demon did not care.
"You have been played like a fiddle, Elder of namek" he said, stretching lazily on the seat and switching sides. Bazantar wondered momentarily how the Guru would respond to his unexpected presence, cold and calculatingly, or excitably and potentially aggressive. Bazantar's magic was substantial enough that, even if his guards disagreed, he was certain that he was not in any danger he could not defuse.

Carnel couldn't believe it. This Viron turned out to be nothing more than another vile creature looking for power. Yet the creature disappeared, leaving no trace of anything, not even an energy signature. People lie, elder Carnel..." he heard.
Carnel was sickened. But at the same time he was sort of glad this happened in a twisted way. This will teach him to test an individual extensively before he gave them this kind of power.
As for Viron... karma's a real thing. And one day someone would screw him over just as bad. A thousand things ran through his mind. How could he stop Viron now? Was he really evil? What did he want all this power for? Carnel would have to inform Boliko about this accedent, and soon.
But before he could go further in his thoughts, another voice chimed in. Carnel turned around to see an odd looking person sitting in his throne. After hearing the person speak, Carnel was furious. But he kept it inside, acting calm.
"You. Your the one that's causing all this ruckus on the planet I'll assume." Carnel walked right up to the person, who was lazing in his throne like he had won some victory. Carnel stopped about four feet away. "You do realize... that's my chair. Your sitting in. Right now."

(( btw, this is officially your chance to go into more gag character territory if you so wish. I give you permission to godmod one free bonk at a time of your choosing Push it too much though and Bazantar may string you up to the roof with his demonic threads till your behaviour improves.
I'm picturing this meeting as an almost xavier and magneto kind of set up, even if the feeling isn't mutual Bazantar would be fairly conversational and of an amused tempterment, hardly feeling all that compelled to get on board with his clansmens notion of bloodshed and destruction (though he certainly has no qualms with their actions, he is evil after all) So yeah, lets have a little fun with this )) "You. Your the one that's causing all this ruckus on the planet I'll assume." The elder was walking up to him, suppressing his anger it seemed but choosing wisely to act civil "You do realize... that's my chair. Your sitting in. Right now."
Bazantar grins further "Oh, this one? Are you sure about that, boy?" He spoke daringly, referencing his own senior position, a habit which didn't generally go astray given his advanced age, especially among the battle-torn demon clans. "From what I heard of that little exchange you've been sitting on it only about as long as I have just now" he dematerialised, his mist like form drawing up on the Guru's left. The demon had been listening in on the conversation from near it's beginning, watching with mirth as the Bio-androids plotting and scheming became clear. He strode with arms clasped behind his back, wandering around to come up on the right side of the guru as he continued to speak
"If it's any consolation, young elder of namek, you weren't the only one being played. The black-tongued creature has been working his little schemes on all involved... it was an amusing little gambit infact, the actions of his protasis coming to fruition" He bowed in mock-respect, extending his arm in invitation for the elder to resume his seat, the black mist of Bazantar's incorporeal and thus ineffectual guards still whirring ominously around it.
"As for your earlier assumption on ruckuses and the like... well, my clan certainly, though I am always a valued contributor to their cause." he scratched at his chin, seemingly completely at easy despite standing right in the middle of the guru's fortress, potentially surrounded by many guards and enemies. "On the surface world your peaceful elders may lead their clan, but personally I leave that up to someone younger" he chuckled lightly again "something which is quite common among the demon clans within the vast tomb we so long have called home. With age comes weakness you see, and with weakness comes death..." he paused, eyes twinkling mirthfully "- I am, of course, somewhat of an exception."
Although he wouldn't really admit it, the company of a fellow closer to his own age was a pleasurable change from the brutal, fiery young warriors of his kin, though the fact that the guru was all but powerless to remove his bold-faced intrusion also made to enhance his delight of the situation.

The creature mocked him. "From what I heard of that little exchange you've been sitting on it only about as long as I have just now" He said, turning to mist and appearing beside Carnel. "Yes, unfortunately... you're right." Carnel was still shocked with the loss of Param, and at the mistake he had made.
"If it's any consolation, young elder of Namek, you weren't the only one being played." The creature stated, making Carnel suspicious of him further. He gestured to the seat. Carnel huffed and turned away from the creature.
Who ever he was, he took credit for the attack on Namek. Carnel tried devising a plan while the creature babbled on. "With age comes weakness you see, and with weakness comes death..." he paused. "I am, of course, somewhat of an exception."
Carnel turned to look at the creature. "That can be changed, if you'd like. And age also brings wisdom. Experience. Doubting your opponent is one of the prime examples of weakness itself, my friend." Carnel was prepared for a fight. But he couldn't do it alone.
He had a feeling he wouldn't have to.
