[Bazantar]

"Friend now? Oh I like you already, I can see it in your eyes, you want nothing more than to 'bring me to justice' here and now, stop my clan in their tracks... Perhaps even go so far as to, reap your vengeance upon me" He continued his little pacing, hands clasped behind his back
"I'm afraid however that it wouldn't work. I am not in charge of this assault, Guru of Namek, that commotion is all Skripka's doing. Even should you succeed in subdueing me through some miracle they would not stop. The young hothead is eager to stretch his muscles, you know how these warrior-types are."

He turned
"You are are too weak to achieve what you seek anyway. Underestimating an opponent is folly, but overestimating your own prowess is arrogance Guru. We have earned my arrogance Surface namekian, your arrogance however is ill-deserved - a peaceful people such as yours, a people unhoned by harsh war and bloodshed as my own as my own have been. You are a Weak... Pathetic... Fool." It was true, Carnel's strength was but a fraction of Bazantar's own*, and as a whole the demon clan's individual strength outmatched that of a warrior clansmen, the weak dying leaving only the strong to survive.
((*at this point in time, pre timeskip. I actually think it would be neat if bazantar's words here are part of what motivated carnel to become stronger himself during the timeskip))
His voice began to grow more harsh, building momentum as his words spilled forward accusatorily
"Strength alone ensures survival, elder of namek, and your people's survival hangs in the balance. Survive or Perish, you're going to need to shape up boy if you ever hope to succeed in life. You don't need to be a warrior to be strong, you need only the will." He practically spat the last word, his eyes burning intensely into the guru's own

"...but i am getting sidetracked" his features softening in what was almost a sigh, and his twisted sense of 'good humour' returned.
"Do you want to know why we're here? Why we have come now of all times, while you lie at your most vulnerable? I'll tell you now that sealed as we were there was no possible way for us to escape our tomb from the inside..."
He grinned wickedly
"...Three guesses who"

((up to you, battle or no battle. Bazantar obviously won't be killing you, but with him at 6000 and you at 1000 during this time, he's going to be running circles around you, not that that wouldn't make for some interesting RP and act as a good motivator for carnel's increased strength over the timeskip. Infact, wanna do that? I can have Baz chat while 'fighting', and if you'd like you can bring Blaze to fight against the 30,000 pl guards like you mentioned too))

Bazantar's words struck deep within Carnel. Many years ago, he could have crushed Bazantar in seconds. His power would have rivaled that of Blaze. But now... Bazantar was right. He was weak.

But that did not matter. Carnel knew he would have to do what he could to insure the safety of his people. Even if... that meant he had to fight.

Carnel shook his head slowly. "You... your kind. You always assume a passive lifestyle, acts of kindness, love... to be weakness. You use fear and death to force respect and loyalty from all those around you. But all in all... its all because your angry. Angry that you were never treated with kindness and love yourself."

Carnel walked up closer to the evil creature before him. "And why? Why did we not accept you? Why were you shunned, neglected, ignored?" Carnel stopped. "Because your soul is nothing but black ice. Cold to the touch and ready to spread its chilling evil to all those in your path. You're pushed away because you can not offer to us the same thing you wish to receive."

Carnel looked Bazantar in the eyes. "Respect, my friend. To be treated fairly, you must be willing to treat others fairly as well. Assuming your superior is insanity... and you will see today how superior you are!"

He closed his eyes and his energy began to swirl around him. "Strength alone ensures survival. But you know not what strength is, my friend. I can not physicality defeat you, thats obvious. I do find it sad to see you resorting to destroying the weak like this."

Carnel felt a power coming. One he had secretly summoned with his telepathy. "I'm curious to see how you fair against an opponent that is more than capable of out matching you."

[Bazantar]

“If passivity, love and kindness lead to strength and fulfilment then villainy would not exist. The strong feed on the weak Carnel, the great Sea-Serpent feeds on the giant crab, the trees themself feed on the soil they invade, and even a new born child feeds on his father’s energy, the egg snatching all the strength it can.”
Bazantar sneered contemptuously
“The very universe is built on parasites, young elder, parasites stealing from other parasites.”

“For a prime example of this just look at how the creature feeds of our conflict. I could see them, out there, the warriors under the sway of the Virion’s taint. Even should my clan somehow fail they would surely sweep down and devour your kin. I however am not so foolish, we will eradicate your people, and then lay waste to his if he ever seeks to oppose us. They have grown stronger, but they are not one with great spirit of porunkal. I doubt however that he will be doing that much, you already gave him exactly what he wants, and that cold pitted heart has no reason to uphold a bargain without reward” The dark wraiths of Bazantar’s guards circled, stirring. Bazantar’s own eyes flicked out to the left, as if catching something in the corner of his vision. It was blaze’s energy signature. Conversationally he took up a new line of talk;


“You will find that once you have lived as long as I have, death does not hold the same sway over you that it once did. If an opponent can kill me then he will have earned their hubris. I am content to watch the struggles of those around me, and float along in the tides of my own destiny, wherever they may take me. You could even say that I know contentment, for despite your misconceptions I am no two-dimension being, I know well of love, of the warm embrace of my kindly father and the adulation of my peers, even the strength of conviction such emotions can envoke. Your people are doomed not because of these… irrelevancies, but because of the simple fact that you are Weaker. Whether you draw your strength from darkness, like I do, or from light is but a meaningless distinction.”
Suddenly everything had become very busy. As Blazes energy finally converged on their position Bazantar’s hand lashed forward, in a circling flick, as if knotting an invisible rope around his quarry, Demonic threads wrapping around Carnel and drawing the elder right up face to face with his demonic counterpart, eyes burning into slitted, yellow eyes.
“Strength alone is the one great truth of the universe…” Each word was measured, emphasis on every syllable, and the sudden burst of actions threw a great gust which billowed out past the curtains, everything coming to settle in the oppressive atmosphere. It seemed likely that, seeing his father in the grasp of this strange, unholy being, Blaze would yell out a protest, or voice some protective affirmation, but closing the gap would not be possible.
Bazantar’s guards were transitioning in this very moment, from seemingly sentient mist at last into physical form, like dogs finally let up from their tightly gripped leash. If Blaze was feeling hasty he would have to go through them if he were to get at Carnel, and by extension Bazantar.

The Demon Elder remained completely still, save for an accusatory finger which darted towards Blaze.
"So, you come at last, Child of Winter's Embrace"

Carnel didn't get a chance to speak due to the sounds coming from outside. Crashing and screaming, getting closer... Then the main door burst open and Blaze stomped in with both ki blades activated. Blood smeared across his face and his navy blue and black Namekian gi had been tattered and torn up. He tore the whole top half off and threw it aside without even disengaging his blades.

Baz's dramatic comment made Blaze tilt his head. " The hell's winter? And who do you think you are? Yeah, you, with the screwed up face." Blaze said, pointing his blade at the dark Elder. "Murdering a ton of people for no just cause. I doubt they enjoyed the pain you caused them so far. And before you start... I don't wana hear no sob stories about why you did this. Anything your trying to avenge was likely brought on yourselves."

Blaze looked around the room, filling with Demon Namekian solders. "Please." he said, shaking his head. "Just killed off like thirty - some odd of your kin so far..." He dashed at the closest one, taking a swing for him. "You're all gona join 'em!"

Blaze was enraged and in no mood for words. Once he got his hands on that Elder, he was going to drown him. Drown him in a puddle of the innocent blood he had spilled.
