Five years have passed. The universe had been relatively quiet. Touketsuki Yakedo never showed his face on Namek ever since and it was thought that the Solar Saiyan Empire came for a visit once, but this namekian hadn’t been aware. These years were marked by frustration and incessant training. Basna, now fused with his father to save his life, was now traveling towards the planet’s new Guru. He had a sickly gesture on his face, but not because Param died –he never really met Param to be honest.
Bass was always an obsessive man when it came to his training. He wanted to improve and get stronger through every waking moment. There really wasn’t anything better to do on Namek. And being known as Basna, did not change his outlook on life. Instead, he was a bit colder. His furrowed brows wrinkled his green face. His antennae flicked with the ear buzzing winds as he flew through the barriers; a white translucent trail of energy was left on his wake.
He had finally reached his goal. He had become the new Master of the Namekian Warrior Caste. Cymbal was out of his hair –everything should’ve been perfect. But Basna was frustrated still. Ever since he absorbed his father, Snare, and took him into his being to become Basna, he had felt his power at a standstill. He had gained more power through those few weeks with the saiyans than he had through the entire lapse of the last five years. He’s not challenged and they don’t possess any equipment and special gizmos like that gravity machine the saiyans introduced to him.
All this frustration led him to meet the Guru today. “Carnel!” he called out, landing on the entrance of the large fortress overseeing the planet from the edge a cliff.
Basna then proceeded unto opening the doors to the fortress and rushing his way in. “I need you to make me stronger!” he said. But Basna’s rude behavior would probably ruin any chances he had of obtaining the power he seeked. He’s the Master; therefore, Elder Carnel was almost obliged to give him the power up, he thought. If Basna got stronger, as leader of the Namekian Warrior Caste, Namek gets stronger too.
His young face and the white gi would probably trick anyone to believe him to be a humble brother, but boy were they wrong. Basna was like Namek’s very own saiyan –but green and without a tail…

Elder Carnel sat cross legged in the main chamber of the fortress along with a few students. They were all in deep meditation. "Breathe smoothly, clear your mind" He said in a low voice. "Focus on the ki within. Breathe. Nice and smoo-"
“Carnel! I need you to make me stronger!” A loud voice boomed into the fortress, the speaker running full tilt into the main chamber. Every student's concentration broke. Carnel's did as well. "What... in the name of Nail..."
He stood up as the figure came closer. The first thing he thought was that his son, Blaze had returned. But he noticed that the person hadn't come crashing in through the ceiling, so it couldn't be him. "What is the meaning of this noise!?" He yelled.

Basna ignored the students surrounding them. His eyes were locked on a single being, Elder Carnel. He stopped a few feet away from the man, talking distance, yet he spoke loudly and demanding anyway. “You’re Elder Carnel, right?” he said, crossing his arms over his chest. “I’ve heard the Guru had the ability to grant some sort of power. I’ve come for that power.” He stated bluntly. The symbol of the Namekian Warrior Caste was emblazoned on the top left of his white gi, which indicated his position as its master.
Basna stood proud, bold, and sure of his status. His power radiated from his body, his antennae still twitching from the frustration of not feeling improvements in the last few years. But his anger was being quenched by the feeling of obtaining that power here and now. A grin grew on his face. All he could think about was that boost. He couldn’t even begin to imagine how powerful he’d get. –Probably strong enough to annihilate Touketsuki Yakedo!

Carnel looked Basna like he was nuts. "Oh why yes... I just give away this power like candy, you know." He shook his head. Turning, he pointed out the students. "See all these students here? They all wish to gain the same thing. It can not be simply given, my friend, it must be earned."
One of the students piped up. "You should be ashamed of yourself, storming in and demanding power. Elder Guru, allow me to put this dog in its place."
Carnel hated being called Elder Guru. Two titles, no name. He was just Elder Guru now. He sighed and shook his head again. "I see no dogs in this room, Nahlin. Though you've begun to see your inner potential through meditation, this man is your equal in power. If you wish to challenge him, I will allow it as a test of his skill." Carnel looked at the newcomer. "Now, what is your name? and do you except young Nahlin's challenge?"
((You can control Nahlin's movements if you wish, or I could, your call.))

Basna’s antennae flicked. He wasn’t expecting that; or perhaps, he was, but he was hoping it wouldn’t happen. “If you haven’t noticed, I’m the Master of the Namekian Warrior Caste, Basna.” He retorted, signaling his thumb towards the upper left side of his chest. He ignored the student’s bark and scoffed a smug grin on his face. “I think I’m more than qualified for this power, Carnel. –But if you think I have to prove this power to you, I don’t have any problems demonstrating it by beating this half pipe.” He said.
The young namekian gazed at his surroundings curiously. “Where shall we fight?”
(You can control him. I hate making up fights. xP It’s always hard for me to make each one unique and different. I think having another brain to help would be better.)

Carnel's expression didn't change one bit after Basna introduced himself. "I see. I have heard of you, but I didn't expect you to be so... well, never mind. Watch yourself, do not underestimate Nahlin. He's a fine fighter... as long as he can hold his tounge. Carnel walked up a few steps and sat in the Guru's throne. "First to fall the other to the ground shall be the victor.
The other students parted, leaving Basna and Nahlin to square off. Nahlin was determined to defeat Basna to show off his skill and power to Carnel and the others. He bowed, and readied himself. He prepared for Basna's move.

“Alright Nan, let’s get this over with!” he said, mispronouncing Nahlin’s name as the Guru sat on his thrown. Basna was a bit ticked off now. He wanted to be gone by now with his new found power, but instead he had to provide extra persuasion for the Elder to prove he is worthy of the power. Basna’s energy began to rise. His body was soon flowing with his white aura as he took his battle stance.
He slightly bent his knees and brought his hands up in a fist. “You’re move, Nan.” He said.

"Its... Na-lin." He clarified. He wanted to call Basna a dog again, but refrained due to Carnel's presence.
Nahlin watched his opponent power up. Nahlin stood perfectly still in his stance and a yellow aura slowly crept up and began to flow with aura as well. Only Nahlin appeared to be able to do it with ease.
Then he made his move. Vanishing from view, he appeared beside Basna with a punch at the ready, lashing out a strike for his shoulder. In the case of a grabbing block, he was ready to give Basna's countering arm a good twist, followed by a hard strike to the arm.

A smirk grew on Basna’s face as he witnessed the other’s power rising to what he considered a decent level. He ignored the other man’s correction. So now he’s Nalin, he thought, moving his chin slightly up towards the left, saying ‘Come get me’.
At the drop of a hat, the namekian Nalin disappeared from his spot and charged up from the side with a ready fist. Basna was surprised at first, but his short gawk was quickly erased by the memory of those saiyans. It was that same technique –or like it, in which they disappeared and reappeared in the blink of an eye. Basna smirked and intercepted the other’s thrust by raising his defending arm upwards with the forearm blocking the blow. His free arm would then extend from belong and outstretch, plowing into Nalin’s core.

The first strike didn't land, and his idea of Basna grabing his arm was off. Instead, he blocked and thrusted forward with a strike. Nahlin drove his free arm down, deflecting the blow to move past his body. He then reached grab that arm's wrist and take hold of the same arm's upper half with the hand that had been blocked.
Quickly turning, Nahlin would then pull down on Basna's arm to flip Basna over Nahlin's self to the ground, or at least throw him.

Basna gasped. Nalin, not only managed to block his counterattack, but grabbed onto his outstretched arm by the wrist and then gripped his defending arm. The namekian began to pull on his arms, but Basna embraced it and jumped into the air with his “Rapid Movement” technique: consecutive translucent after images of himself trailed behind his rising body. If Nalin kept holding on, his own feet would soon be lifted off the marble tiles of Guru’s fortress.
Basna momentarily propped onto one of the many thick pillars that supported the entire structure and took impulse with his feet. “Hyah!” his voice reverberated in the vast room. Given the scenario that his opponent was still grabbing onto his arms, struggling to gain control; Basna would take the high ground advantage and pull his arms upward. His intentions were to plant a double kick onto Nalin’s face by pulling him towards his feet and launching his feet towards his face.
If the namekian had let go of his arms, he would thrust another right hook from the sky as his right arm extends and bends down like a whip, trying to smash the other.

Nahlin was almost able to throw Basna down. But Basna countered... by running around. He stretched his arms out, and ran up a pillar. Uhhh... what the he- his thoughts were cut short when he found himself pulled towards Basna. He knew something big was coming, and he wasn't charging any ki, also he let one hand go half way up and got ready.
Basna's feet came down towards Nahlin. He tried to grab hold and throw himself up over, but it failed, and Nahlin only managed to push himself far enough to take the blow to the chest instead of the face. He let go and was thrown towards the ground.
Seeing the tile coming at him, he pushed both hands out in front of him and fired a wave. The wave rocketed him back at Basna. He stuck a foot out, aimed at his midsection and shouted "Rocket kick!"
Wasn't even a technique really, it was just something he made up last moment.

Basna smirked. His heels hit the mark, planting them on the other’s chest and propelling him towards the ground. His now free arms promptly curled back to normal and he leisurely prepared to land back to the ground. But suddenly, a wave of energy buzzed out of Nalin’s palms and launched the namekian back at Basna with his feet arced at him for a counter attack. Basna crossed his arms over his chest and grit his teeth as the other’s heel made impact.
Sparks of energy flickered around them. A transparent but tangible force; a powerful wind pulsated in waves from their bodies. Basna was happy. He hadn’t expected this namekian to put up such a good fight. Where had he been during the last five years? Basna had been suffering. Nobody in the clan could stand up to him and therefore, ever since Cymbal’s defeat, Basna remained unchallenged and soon grew restless, arrogant, and frustrated. But at last, he found a worthy opponent where he didn’t think it was possible and he began to fill the hollow vast room with his laughs. He was like a child who rediscovered joy. He was like a saiyan, embracing everything that is Martial Arts, and the art of exchanging fists with another.
Basna’s block turned into a grip when he flipped them forward and grabbed onto the other man’s legs. He then started rotating in place and tossed Nalin back at the marbel floor which was now scraped by his previous energy wave.

(Just a word, there is a 50x gravity chamber in the main Namekian village that Boliko purchased for the Namekian people, and so is technically owned by Elder Carnel now. will add it to his items.)

(And Elder Carnel would like to graciously thank the King of Saiyans for this generous donation. Now he just has to go hit buttons and beat on the screen to figure out how to use the damn thing lol. I also plan to buy Nahlin as an actual companion once I have the Zeni. He's going to be like Carnel's Nail.)
Nahlin was thrown pretty hard by Basna's counter. He couldn't hit the ground yet... He threw his hands down, springing himself airborne, and landed on his feet. He smirked, looking over at Elder Carnel. Carnel wasn't impressed with the damage to the tile, but that was bound to happen after all.
Nahlin smiled, readying himself in a defensive position. "Your good. But your too full of yourself." He told Basna. He was thinking now to treat him like a Saiyan. Talk trash to make them mad, then they'll get angry and throw more power. But less accuracy.
