(This is the continuation of this thread: wodresurrection.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=elderfort&action=display&thread=4183&page=1 ) The double doors slammed open similar to last time as the brown boots tapped across the marbel floors and echoed in the vast fortress of the Guru. There were many large and thick pillars supporting the structure and three saiyans followed behind the namekian’s footsteps. “Yo! Tripoli! (brother)” the young namekian called out with a wide grin. “Told ya I’d be back…” They had arrived in record time. Basna hadn’t realized it until they were in the air, but the saiyans had landed very close to the Elder’s fortress –any closer and they might’ve landed inside. He glanced back at the saiyans with anticipation. His body was all tingly despite the bruises and internal damage dealt during his previous ‘spar’ against the blue haired Yuumaru. He was actually slightly limping as he walked towards the old man. But nobody could deny he was happy with that bright and toothy smirk on his face.

Carnel had set up an old... well, rather ancient looking computing device in the main chamber. His intention was to persue the use of some kind of inter-planetary communication so that he may better communicate with the SSE. More so... his son. But of course, between Carnel and Nahlin, the two had the technilogical understanding of a six year old. If that.
Then Basna came stomping into the fortress, in a good mood about something. Carnel retired from th computer, leaving it to Nahlin and went to greet Basna. "Hello, Basna." He said to him. He looked him over. "You look great." he said sarcastically.

Cargo was inside the Elder's fortress as a new apprentice of some sort of the Elder. It was truly an honor to meet the elder and be accepted so quickly. However, Cargo did not view himself as an apprentice. He viewed himself as more of a protector of Namek along with his fellow Namekian brothers. Cargo was sitting in a dark corner lost in his meditation as always. He could then feel a very familiar power, but it wasn't alone. He could also feel three more individuals, two having very nice power and one having power beyond belief. This intrigued Cargo as he was under the impression that there were only three powerful Namekians. That is when Cargo realizes that they are of another kind as he does not feel a link with these individuals as he does his Tropilis.(brothers) “Yo! Tripoli! Told ya I’d be back…”"That voice!"[/b][/color] Cargo knew who voice that was. He couldn't help but smile in remembering the spar that the two shared. It ended in the most glorious fashion. Cargo was just itching for more but more would have to wait as it would seem that Basna was doing other things. Cargo decided against making his presence known and waited to see what was really going on. (Popped up and zenni for the short irrelevant pop up )

The Saiyan General had entered just behind Basna, his auburn tail whipping behind his body with anticipation: this Namek had finally convinced him there might be some basis behind his outrageous claims, and the father and his son had abstained from returning to Vegeta for a bit longer. Rensou stopped short of the gathering of Namekians, folding his arms over his broad chest with a casual smirk spread across his face. Could this Namekian be speaking the truth? The Saiyan doubted it, but his child had bought into the tale from the very beginning and had approached the oldest of the aliens at a run, halting just in front of Carnel and tugging at his robe to gain his attention.
"Can you waise my powah wevel, Gweeny?" he asked, his brown eyes filled with hope. The boy was a Saiyan, through and through, and the drive running through his veins was amplified by his father pushing him harder and harder. Tsuken wanted the strength because he wanted to please Rensou, but also because of his racial lust for endless ability. Rensou allowed the misbehavior of his son, these green men meant little to him, and the only reason he was here was because Boliko had ordered it. The one called Basna was a decent fighter, but that was about it, Rensou had slaughtered stronger women on world's much better than this one.
What, honestly, did Boliko see in this place? Certainly, Namek's vast water supply was beneficial to Vegeta, but the home planet of the Saiyans had been fine before this alliance and things had stayed much the same afterward. The only difference was now that Namek was a part of the Empire, Rensou lost valuable time away from his training on a mission that should have ended half a day prior.

The blue-haired Saiyan hadn’t been too far behind the others, his eyes glancing over the building that they had entered. He did a sweeping glance to check for any sort of vantage points that could be used to attack them, just as a habit, he never entered a building without surveying. Regardless if they were allies or not, alliances could change rather easily, and he’d prefer to keep himself alive if that was the case. Green eyes shifted their focus to the Namekians that were exchanging not so pleasant conversation with each other. His eyebrow piqued with curiosity, this didn’t quite seem to be the type of scenario he was expecting, especially from the warrior of the two.
Walking so that he was in range to hear the others, he leaned against a wall, trying to let his body recover a bit from the damage. Truth be told, he was as curious as Tsuken about this supposed unlocking of someone’s power, and wanted to see it. Focusing his eyes enough to watch the man, he remained silent, instead watching the events unfold. From the looks of the way things were unfolding, it almost seemed like Basna was an arrogant student, demanding to be taught something because he was the strongest. At least, that was how the Saiyan saw things, maybe he was just seeing things in a weird light because of the concussion that he had.
It would be healed soon enough though, and this was something worth knowing about at least, it seemed like an interesting bit of knowledge. Whether he would like it was a different matter, he’d likely been raised with a different mindset concerning these type of things. Still, it would be a could experience, and he could probably learn a great deal from it. So, he focused the entirety of his attention on the older Namekian, watching what he would do and what he would say. Would he do what he was demanded?

“Hehehe…” his chuckling echoed throughout the fortress, but soon died when the saiyan child tugged on the Elder’s clothes asking for the fabled power Basna spoke of. His eyes glared with greed. If anyone’s getting it, it’s him! Their king already got his share; it was time for the namekians to reap their own crops instead of giving it away to foreign lands. He stopped about five feet from the Guru and smirked. “Nevermind the clothes.” He said with his broad green chest showing. He could have popped a new pair any moment, but he was too tired and excited to worry about it.
His expression then changed to suit the occasion. Basna needed to sell it good if he was going convince the Guru. He may have screwed up last time, but this time he’d at least pretend to be respectful. “There’s a war coming.” He started, pointing back at the two saiyans behind him. “These saiyans have informed me and I will be traveling to planet Vegeta with them to train.” He paused for a moment, allowing everyone present to absorb the information.
“With that said, I need you to give me that power so I can protect our planet.” He walked closer and stared into the grand elder’s eyes with concern. “Su sercsa rayleoskyda skeop DA lossam; tikk da Tripoli noto poli da korrbin. Kaah sanei ritsuqin zola –Kaah da anajuss” (You already gave their king OUR power; this time, let our own kin take responsibility for our planet. I promise I’ll keep everyone safe –I’ll be our hero!)
By the time Basna had expressed himself, he would have been face to face with Elder Carnel. He placed his hands over the namekian’s shoulders and looked into his eyes. “Do the right thing…”
Sure, Basna had his own selfish motives for attaining power, but his desires were true and pure. He genuinely wanted to become their planet’s messiah and protect every single resident from harm. He wanted to be the example, the proof to saiyans and any other race out there, that the namekians weren’t something to take lightly. They were truly superior once you sat down and think about it. They were –for the most part- a peaceful and brotherly race. They barely needed to eat or drink, which made them live for far much longer than other races. They could regenerate limbs, create the dragonballs, and all sorts of mystical things others couldn’t.
If they wanted, the namekians could be the most habituated planet. They didn’t need partners like others did. They could simply barf up eggs until they were the largest race in the universe and it wouldn’t affect their food supplies as they barely ate at all. If they were few, it was because they wanted to. If they were poor, it’s because they had a different definition of wealthy than most of the foreign cultures believed. Nameksei, was certainly superior and he knew that his brother in arms would understand his feelings. This is why Basna felt that he finally had what he seeked in the palms of his hands.

Carnel was quite amused by the young Saiyan. And quite impressed that the child's power surpassed his own. "My arrent we eager." He said, kneeling down to the boy. "Your already quite powerful, your father must be quite proud." Carnel assumed the General was the boys father, due to resemblance.
He stood as Basna beain speaking. After listening to Basna's plea for power, Carnel fell silent for a moment. "Basna... your a great warrior. But your power has already grown to an extent that is quite impressive. And I must say, it will be quite difficult to defend Namek without being on Namek."
Carnel had made his decision. "You want this power to go fight a war. Yet... you do not need it. I do not see war as a reason to need power, as I don't believe war solves anything at all." He shook his head. "I... am sorry, Basna."
Carnel had a feeling what would happen, and was ready for anything. Nahlin had felt the tension as well, and was standing off to the side.

The young Tsuken beamed as the Namekian elder addressed him politely, noting his strength and reinforcing the fact that Rensou was indeed very proud of his child. With his white teeth shining, he thanked the elder, “Thankies, old gweeny!” he exclaimed before he scampered back to Rensou's side, whom listened intently as the man known as Basna made his plea for power: the man asked for it with such sincerity, the General was left pondering if the Elder truly had it within him to raise the strength of a warrior through whatever magics he had within him.
Then, the old one decided Basna was still unworthy of the art, and denied him. The Hiruen son sighed as he ran his fingers through the hair of his boy, whom had switched his intent entirely. “'anna go 'ome, papa!” he pleaded, and Rensou shared his want, and with Basna denied, it was most certainly time. Rensou looked to Yuumaru beside him.
“Let us return home, Yuumaru,” he said simply as he turned and began to leave the Elder's fortress, but not without looking over his shoulder and beckoning Basna return with them. “Come, Basna, we offer much. . .we just ask you accept it.”

Basna’s grip tightened on the elder’s shoulders upon hearing the answer. He wasn’t trying to hurt him, it was more of a way to cope with his emotions; an involuntary reaction. He scoffed and gazed towards the ground, closing his eyes in disapproval as the saiyans began to retreat without another word. He doesn’t need it he says? It was only because he did not experience the fight on earth. Because he didn’t feel what Basna felt when he watched that golden human stand up to Touketsuki Yakedo. What about the saiyan General who stood before them? Was he not proof enough? Basna didn’t like to admit it, but he knew from the very first glance that he was no match for the saiyan –and that’s just the General.
He disdainfully looked up into Carnel’s eyes. “Are you delusional?” the words escaped his lips. He was meaning to say it only in his mind, but they somehow escaped his filters and came out into the hearing. His eyes widened realizing this. There was no way the Guru would bestow the power onto him now. Not now that he had called the man senile. But he meant it. Carnel hadn’t witnessed true power. Not the power Basna knew of; the power he yearned for so much. His hands slip off the man’s shoulders. “Tsk…” he groaned, breaking eye contact and turning around.
“Fine,” He said. “I don’t need your magic. I’ll get the power on my own –with help of the saiyans.” He clenched his fists tightly and bit his lip. “I’m going to Vegeta, and someday, I’ll return. When I do, I’ll be the strongest namekian anyone had ever seen, and I will be our messiah.” His chin raised high into the ceiling of the fortress which restrained the sun of their three suns. He looked through it proudly, imagining the clouds outside as life smiled at him. Basna was destined for greatness and he’d reach it no matter how long it’d take.
“Morwen,” he said as he walked out of the fortress, heeding the saiyan General Rensou’s words. The Solar Saiyan Empire had come to look for him out of all namekians living in this planet. A sign that his greatness was being noticed and he would take advantage of their facilities and become the strongest they have ever seen. His power would be so great that his three suns would seem dull in comparison.
“Just you wait…”

It seemed that there was a bit of hastiness within the tone of the Namekian Basna, with the first words directed to the elder. Raising an eyebrow, he was curious as to what the rush was for whatever the power was supposed to be doing for him. It wasn’t all the urgent in his mind, and it seemed that the elder had a similar train of thought going for him. He was denied the power, and he could understand the reasoning behind it, power gained that way wasn’t the same as getting it yourself. The younger Namekian seemed to not find that an acceptable answer, however, and proceeded to call the elder delusional.
With his rant done, and the General leaving with Tsuken in tow, Yuumaru pushed up from the wall himself and turned towards the Namekian elder. “I believe you chose wisely,” he spoke, despite how it might seem coming from him, being a Saiyan and all. He shrugged, “The planet doesn’t need a Messiah, not one with such a large ego, at least.” Nodding his head, in a respectful departing gesture, “It was good meeting you, Old Namekian, stay well.” No reason to not be nice, they were allies, and despite not being a warrior, he should quite a bit of courage and wisdom, something he could respect.
With that, he took off after the others, using his feet to get him back to the ship, keeping decent pace with the others. He would have to learn how to fly at some point though, to make sure that he could keep up with his opponents when they took to the skies. (PL please)

"yes.. yes i think that's the one" said one of the outcast clansmen nerviously, indicating the figure shown within Bazantar's crystal ball. The magical orb circled around, drawing back over to the shadowy figure, and after a moments hesitation the ragged namekian took this as his dismissal. In truth, the porunkal still frightened him...
Upon his return to the dishevelled village Bazantar had been told of a peculiar event a small group had witnessed. A namekian warrior had entered into the nearby demonic caves, though it seemed doubtful he knew what they were. There his intensity had threatened to bring down the tunnels, and the venturing outcasts had known fear. He showed both strength... and weakness...
The demon's curiosity was perked. None of the prounkal had witnessed the event beyond the tremors from outside, but as Bazantar watched the namekians meeting with the Guru now, and the accompanying aliens, he smirked.
Within the warriors heart was a potential, his lust for power pushing him towards the brink, threatening to blacken his heart should he fall prey to his lurking vices. It was a shame that he would be leaving this world, that he were never learn of Bazantar's temptations, but The saiyans were reputed as a brutal warrior race... they would do well to foster his power, and the darkness which could well be born from it. He would return soon enough...
“Just you wait…” From within the demon elders hut darkness and black mists all but obscured any light from the outside world, only the muted glow of the crystal ball casting out of the mazoku's elderly features, and basna's face continuing to shimmer within it's depths.
With an ominous gleam in his yellow, slitted eyes, the demon murmured something quietly, perhaps only to himself;
"I do so with unabated anticipation..."
