(RPing as Blaze and Elder Carnel at the same time for this one. Mostly just outlining my visit and swapping info.)
It had been far too long. Blaze walked into the Elders Fortress like he owned the place. Big grin on his face, he expected to greet Carnel on the Guru's Throne, or what Blaze called the "Elder Chair". But Carnel wasn't there.
"Hello!?" Blaze yelled. he walked over to the chair and pulled the black hood down on his navy Namekian gi. "Anyone home!?" he yelled in question. No answer. He listened again for a moment, then shrugged. He pulled the hooded cape off and slung it up over the throne and sat in it.
He chuckled. "Wow. this thing isn't even comfy. Now I know why he and Suki avoid sitting in them all the time..." Blaze said to himself as he shifted so he was laying his head on one arm and draped his legs and tail over the other. Carnel would show up sometime.

Blaze had dozed into a nap after a while. then a voice. "Blaze?" It said in a very un-exited tone. It spooked him, causing him to jump and fall off the throne. "Who's-whats that!?" He scrambled to his feet and turned to see Nahlin in his black vested gi standing with his hands behind his back.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" He asked. Blaze snarled. "I was... meditating!" he said, an obvious lie. Nahlin looked to the side and nodded. "Alright then." he said, deciding not to argue. This was their first conversation in the universal language. Nahlin just assumed it easier for Blaze to avoid speaking in Namekian.
Blaze straightened up. He on the other hand, wanted to brush up on his Namekian. ["Have you increased your power much? I have done so myself.]" He said in the languge. He wasn't as sharp as he used to be at it. Nahlin nodded. ""
Blaze chuckled. If he heard right, Nahlin figured he'd get stronger than him some day. Yeah, right. Blaze thought. He was going to say th words out loud when another voice cut him off.
"Hold your tongue, Blaze. You never know what the future holds... Nahlin may one day meet his goal." It said. Blaze turned to see Carnel walking into the room with his usual robe like gi matching that of Blaze'sonly with white accents rather than Blaze's favored black.
Did... Is he reading my mind!? Blaze thought as Carnel came to a stop in front of Blaze. Carnel smiled and nodded. "I am, Blaze. Telepathy has its advantages..." he told Blaze.
Blaze crossed his arms. "You should teach me later." He said with a smile. "How have you been, dad?" Blaze asked. Carnel appeared in good health.
Carnel made his way to his throne. "Good, Blaze. Good. I've had few visitors really... Brandon, you've met, a Saiyan General and his son who showed up to take Basna, and the mail man. Something about Scouter Shades... It was sent to the wrong place." Carnel recapped, sitting down.
Blaze walked over and sat on the arm rest. "Who the heck's Basna and whats Scouter Shades?" Blaze asked in confusion.
"Basna came from Bass... You heard of Bass at one point, you lived here thirty years... fusing with his father. I told you how that worked once when you were young. And as for the other things... I have no bloody idea." He explained to Blaze. "And I'm glad to see you have a ship, I may need to call you at a later date. We have been getting suspicious reports lately..."
Blaze watched as Carnel reached down in a compartment in the side of the throne and pull out a small black device. "... this was sent to me by the Empire, but I don't believe its of much use to me." He handed it to Blaze. He recognized the object.
It was a Scouter. A much newer model, black with a blue screen and white buttons. Blaze took it and looked it over. "And what'll you tell the SSE?" Blaze asked. Carnel looked away towards Nahlin and shrugged. "Oh, it got lost in the mail. Common for Vegeta Mail, so I hear."
Blaze took the Scouter and looked it over. "Alright. Thanks! Gotta update the software, get some apps, I'll send you my designation once its set up." Blaze said, holding it up to the side of his head. The ear piece automatically adjusted to his size when he put it on and the screen lined itself up.
Blaze looked at Carnel and hit a couple buttons. "Your current power level is twenty-thousand. Not bad, old man." Blaze said. Carnel had no idea what Blaze was talking about.
"Well... alright then. When your done playing with your new toy, maybe I can teach you a thing or two about Telepathy." He said. Blaze was still hitting buttons. "That's just gonna mean a ton of mind-clearing meditation, right?" Blaze asked in his "i'm not exited" tone.
Carnel nodded. "Excessive amounts, yes. And that's Meditating not Sleeping. Don't worry... I'll make Nahlin do it too." He said, smiling at Nahlin, who had hoped he had been forgotten by the two. And he only sighed at the idea of having to sit around for the rest of the day.
