The Guru returns shortly after his time with Basna, to the Fortress. A handful of the Black Gi were there to greet him. Carnel was only focused on one thing. He held the Dragon ball up, explaining that it was an ancient relic, and the other six had to be found at all costs. They asked more questions, but were dismissed.
The less people know of their power, the better.
But there was one person that did need to know. Carnel would prepare to contact him after he walked over to the Guru's Throne and sat, keeping the Ball close. A telepathic connection beyond a planet took allot of concentration and allot of energy. It was harder when you had no idea where the person was.
He mentally searched for the thought waves on every planet he assumed he would be on until he located him. The Saiyan King.
Boliko Koregutsu. Carnel's voice would ease into the kings mind to hopefully ease the sudden presence of a voice in his head. Forgive the intrusion into your mind. This is Guru Carnel of Namek.
he would explain. I wouldn't be invading your mind if it wasn't of utmost importance, I have some very important information for you. And... only you. He could only wait now for a response from the king. Hopefully he had contacted the right person at the right time, and hopefully Boliko was able to communicate back. As for anyone who entered the Fortress at this point, their actions could break the Guru's concentration. That would result in anger, and possibly the loss of Boliko's location. Unless he responds... The saiyan king's eyes flicker open in the dark as alien voices dart into his head. He could feel the warm, soft weight of Amaranth pressed against him, but she was sound asleep. That voice certainly was not hers...
Ah. Right. Those guys, again. Boliko sits up, slightly groggily, rubbing his eyes with the palms of his hand. This was quite convenient, in fact; Boliko himself was going to seek out the current Elder-Namek. He had his own questions to ask.
In the dark times, when Rensou Hiruen had been defeated and killed by Touketsuki Yakedo, the previous Guru, Param, had unlocked Boliko's latent power in a bid to overthrow the World Trade Organisation tyrant. In the process, though, he had mentioned something about 'Dragon Balls' (though he had failed to mention their purpose). Boliko had suddenly realised that the Namekians perhaps held the key to the defeat of Guerin, and the resurgence of the Solar Empire. He did not know, however, the potential for the revival of his planet.
Speak, wise guru. I am all yours. He places his right hand through Amaranth's hair, stroking it.

Boliko was in for quite a surprise, as the Dragon Balls were meant to be the topic if this conversation. First off, I must express our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your planet, Vegeta. I couldn't imagine the pain this loss must have caused you and your kin. he said. He had feared the loss of his own planet until the evils had suddenly vanished.
But I have something that can help you. he told the King. This will be quite difficult to believe. Some may even call it insanity. But King Boliko... he paused for a moment before revealing the secret. I know of a way to restore your planet Vegeta as it was before.
Now Carnel prepared for the response. Would he laugh at him? would he call him mad, or become angry thinking this was a sick joke? Most would do one of those things. But Boliko had already been exposed to powerful Namekian magic before. Carnel hadn't been present or told of Boliko's Unlock, but he could feel it when they met. The Guru knows when you've had your power unlocked.
Boliko may just believe him enough for him to explain further.

Boliko's eyes widen at the last sentence, his heart beating faster. His mouth feels slightly drier. Could it possibly be true...?
Explain yourself, Elder, and do not play me for a fool if this is your meaning. He keeps his internal 'voice' as neutral as possible as he sends the wave back, his grip tightening on Rixoir's hair, though he didn't mean to wake her.
Your previous leader mentioned something known as the Dragon Balls when he released my power, is that what you are now referring to? If so, explain what they are.
He listens patiently, suddenly wide awake in the early hours of the morning, lips parted.

The King's reaction was expected. Even Carnel would have been surprised and even skeptical of such a thing. But he was prepared for this. "Relax, Koregutsu. I haven't a reason to be spewing nonsense, especially with the effort it takes to reach you in this way. What I say is true. And... it has to do with exactly what Param spoke of."
Then Carnel would continue to explain. "These Dragon Balls are a set of seven Ancient Namekian Artifacts. Large and spherical, like a ball from a sporting event, and a translucent orange in color with a red star like crystal inside to represent each Ball's number. When brought together, one can call upon a powerful creature." Carnel explained. "A real and true Dragon who calls himself Porunga."
Carnel continued. "It is said that these godlike Dragons of myth created all things as we know, even the heavens themselves. And the Dragon Balls are the only method of contact these mighty beings can make with our world." He took a moment to draw more energy into his Telepathy. The range was beginning to put strain on him, as his power was majorly dwarfed by that of the King. Boliko, however, may not be under anywhere near as much strain as Carnel.

And the power of this dragon, then, is visceral enough to destroy our foes? Or, perhaps, it has a different purpose? the legendary saiyan inquires, subconciously reinforcing the psychic link with his own power. Boliko's brand of telepathy only required that he was capable of transmitting, not the other person, and so Carnel would be able to relax his energy.
You have these balls on Namek?

"To gather the dragon Balls proves worthiness to the Dragon, and the creature will grant the honor of gracing our world with its presence. With power beyond any comprehension, they can, and will grant wishes to the ones they deem worthy. Wishes, King Boliko, of almost any extent. He explained.
And the Kings thoughts of using the power troubled Carnel. Destroying your enemies is possible, though ledgend has never spoken of their power being used to employ Violence. And I myself would view that to be a misuse of their power. He explained. You could use it to boost the power of a group of your troops, or... yourself... or use the power for a much greater reason. The restoration of Planet Vegeta and all its life!"
Carnel was able to relax his thoughts from taking the King's energy in, and told the king "I also have recovered one of these Relics myself. Please, come and see it if you wish. But I must ask you to keep this to yourself." His tone became more worried. "Only you must know for now, Koregutsu! With the unknown limits of what can be achieved, you must not trust anyone else with the information of their power, no matter your trust or relationship with them."
He gritted his teeth. "For the sake of Vegeta. Your people. And the fate of the Universe."[/blockquote]

Boliko's brow creases with the revelations, one after another, in the dead of night. Goosebumps appear on his arms and he represses a shiver. A wish... it was absurd, and yet, Boliko's short existence had been filled with wonder. He had his own power unlocked by a weak Namekian magick, and so the extent of this mythical tale was believable even to the mind of a king.
The clincher. The idea that his people, his planet could somehow be restored, had been a vague hope in his mind. Rensou Hiruen had come back from the dead, after all, a miracle that was somehow the truth. But whole planets? It was just a thought, one that he had quickly denied. The hope he was seeking was one that would put the perpetrators of the tragegy to death, to prevent any more tragedy from occurring like had occurred had on Vegeta. But this revelation made him more ecstatic. He almost bursts out laughing, his head split by a grin from ear-to-ear, but he suppresses it to keep Rixoir sleeping.
Vegeta must be restored, then, to undo the evils of the men who destroyed it. Then they must be dealt with, too. They cannot commit such atrocities against the universe again, do you understand?

Carnel sighed. The Dragon may not grant a wish to end life, especially being for the purpose of Vengeance. Though you are welcome to try, I would have a plan B in place. He was afraid of this. To use the dragon to grant immortality, make the powerful stronger, take revenge, or commit any kind of Evil was a misuse to Carnel.
This is why they were forbidden. Boliko had better have a Plan B, because he was not seriously going to attempt to kill anyone with the dragon.

This is not about vengeance, Carnel, and you know it. Feel my mind! And thus Boliko would open himself fully to the Namekian, and for the first time to anyone, a new technique he had been developing. All of Boliko's memories and motivations would flood through the universe along a streamlined channel, and into the mind of the Namekian.
Boliko did not seek vengeance, that was not his aim this time. Vengeance had lead to the atrocity that had destroyed his world, after all, and he had learned from that fatal mistake. This time, his motivation was to protect others, a truly noble one.
I will keep my word. Not a soul shall know about the balls, but they will require a reason to travel with me to Namek. May I tell them of hope? Memory Flood: A unique enhancement of telepathy, Boliko may send memories and emotions instead of mere thoughts. He can also receive them if the recipient allows him to see them.

The Guru felt the Kings memories fill his mind. Boliko had regret for abandoning his home to fight the Icer lord. He had learned that Vengeance was truly a pointless endeavor, as karma had bitten him in one of the worst ways. A way that Carnel wished the King didn't have to learn.
He did not wish to use the Dragon Balls to avenge Vegeta, however. He wished to use them to prevent such an atrocity from repeating itself. Thus... his motives were now Justice.
I understand you now, Boliko. You shall have both wishes once they are gathered. As for your men... hope. Hope is an excellent explanation. Tell them they can stop the Evil that destroyed Vegeta. Tell them lives will be saved.
His conversation with the king was almost finished. But Carnel's efforts would continue. He would soon call forth all of the people on Namek to explain this to them as well. He would reach out to his Son, Blaze. Hopefully, he could bring others to aid as well.
Much to be done. Six Balls remain.
